Sucky Store

The store in Camden South Carolina is poorly run. The way they hire people is terrible. They pretty much know who they are going to give the job to before they even interview anyone. Its not right because there are people in the store that apply for things and never even get looked at. Someone from Corporate needs to step in and look at the store.

K I'm a delivery driver here at lowes I've been there for 5yrs I was let go because of descripination of me being slow and not fast enough to in there eyes pulling things there r two of us pulling and delivering and the centered me out as the problem I feel that is wrong I gave my all to this company and because of first a lap after me because he doesn't like me and a store manager always looking to get rid of me I'm going to let u know that I'm going yo file a grevence against your store and the store manager for wrongful firing he first had no proof six months ago that I wasn't wearing a seatbelt on the forklift just theword of the lp there no other witness and now they fire me because of managers fuckup and I get blamed for it I want my job back plus a sorry for what they did u take care k Rick

Commerical Concern-Safety

First let me say I truly enjoying shopping at my local Lowes. Everyone is fantastic! This is being written with great concern regarding Father's Day commerical. I just watched and was greatly stressed with the part where the little boy is pushing his play lawnmower behind his Dad who is pushing a real one! This is a deadly hazard! Though cute, like parents holding their child while cutting a riding mower, this practice could cause injury or death. Please consider removing that part from your advertising. Stress Safety, which is a great concern of parents. Thank you

gardening nightmare

we stopped at our local lowe's, a brand new store, to purchase annuals for the containers on our porch. we filled our cart and went to the register where we were third in line. the customer checking our had a price issue. the cashier called for assistance. no one came & no one came & no one came. i left the line & went into the store to customer service. the man said 'ok sure'. and no one came and no one came. we finally left the garden center line and checked out through the store which was smooth and fast. as we were packing the car we saw the same people were still in line. this entire event took place over a 45 minute period. UNACCEPTABLE. the store manager john ignored his customers in the garden center. no wonder home depot is beating lowes to the bank

Customer Service

I had outstanding service at the Union Gap, Washington store. I have not had such great customer service since shopping at Nordstrom!!!

refunds

My husband and I bought roofing tiles from Lowe's. After the work was finished, we had extra tiles left over that we did not need. We took them back and they gave us a store credit. Before we left I told my husband to just get a refund, but they WOULD NOT give us our money. We are now forced to spent $350 IN THEIR STORE. We do not need $350 worth of anything in their store. I will never shop with them again. BEWARE PEOPLE. THESE ARROGANT PEOPLE ARE VICIOUS!

Very bad

When I called on a Sunday they didn't even have place where you could leave a message so they could call you back. I am truly upset about that.

roll up blinds

I order 2 roll up blinds on 5/18/13 the clerk told me about a week before they come in .well !,its going on week 3 and they still do not know when the blinds will be here.They said every store in western pa is having trouble getting these blinds.Can't you people get your act together.I would like them before summer over.

Purchase

I am 67 y/o and I have problems with my feet and am in a walking boot which is uncomfortable to say the least. My husband and I went into Lowes to purchase a riding mower for 1999.00 We had just deposited a check at our bank and had made sure the bank said it was posted to the account. When we went to rhe service desk to put 300.00 on our Lowes credit card, it went through but the check for the balance was rejected. The service desk made a call to the check cashing company used by Lowes. I spoke to the rep there who apologized after checking all of my information. She said to wait 10 min and put the check back through and it would go on the vip side this time. But when they tried to put it through for the next 30 minutes it would still not go. It was funny that every other store we went to that day took our check and credit/debit card wit no problems. We have to drive 137 miles to get to this Lowes in Texarkana Tx and now we are going to have to make another trip to pick up the mower. This time we will take the cash. You need to change your check cashing company for one that works with the customer.

Very Dissatisfied

You r so messed up with your employee scheduling. Your current employee's r getting sick literally because you over work them. Without eating breaks. No wonder they quit without notice.

Working at Lowes

i was just fired today. I put in for the weekend (5-24-2013 to 5-26-2013) off at Lowe's due to I was leaving Austin Friday and wasn't coming til back Sunday . All the managers knew about the days 3 months ahead. So they let me go for "No Call No Show". They wanted me to call and lie, when they knew? What so cold is they just told me after I closed the department tonight! They couldn't told me on Tuesday when I went to the store and got my work schedule? The Store Manager couldn't have told me when I walked in the store to work today? Lowe's: I 35 and Palmer. Austin Tx

Bamboo flooring

I bought bamboo flooring put in my house about 4 years ago, the reason why I went with that type of flooring is because its suppose to hold better with dogs but my floor is scratched in certain areas really bad and part of the looks like it is wearing away!! Very disappointed in the quality and sad that I paid as much as I did and its only lasted 4 yrs!!

Unacceptable Customer Service

So, I purchased four items at $60 apiece from Lowes on Saturday. On Sunday, I returned the same four items and was issued a refund on my debit card. Today I still have not received a credit to my account. Upon calling the store I was told there would be a 15 day wait to receive the credit to my account. That's funny because it did not take them 15 days to take their money for my purchases.

overcharged for carpet instalation

after being quoted for carpet installation (installer actually come out measured & pulled carpet back to see that it was glued down) when the installation team came out they said they needed to charge me an additional $330 to remove the old carpet. Home Depot is just down the road, thanks Lowe's for treating your loyal customers like trash. I will be shopping Home Depot from now on. Rochester, MI.

Customer Assistance Weatherford, Tx

I have mentioned to my wife that I prefer shopping at Loews instead of Home Depot because of the quality of customer service. However, lately it seems to be a hit or miss situation. One day, there will be 10 employees eager to assist. The next time, they don't even make eye contact.

Delivery Service/Salesman

Lowes Columbus, IN I was in Lowes on Monday May 20th and purchased a riding lawn mower. The salesman said I would recieve my delivery on Friday May 24th. When I called on the 23rd to verify delivery they told me that my delivery was schedule for September. After about 45 minutes on the phone trying to get that corrected, they said my lawn mower would be delivered on the 24th. On the 24th when I called to see where my delivery was, they said I was set up for delivery on the 30th, plus the salesman did not say anything to me about a free dump cart with the purchase of a riding lawn mower. So after calling Corporate Head Quarters, it should be here on the 25th.

I work for lowes in mass and I agree with all the negativity here. They do discrimanate and they do retaliate against there employees. I know, I am one of them hat its happen to.The store I work for have awfull management and it seems that the more we complain to corp the more nothing gets done. There is never help for the customer and if the customer has an issue then it takes being bounced around and then its still not resolved. Its ashame to see lowes dont care about families either.Its all about the dollar.like they say KARMA can go a long way!! and as for military,your now supposed to have only certain ID.if you have anything else then you dont get the discount.How pathetic!!

My spouse works for Lowes and we wonder if some of the negativity on here is real or written by disgruntled former employees or friends/relatives of former employees. If so, shame on them.

Lowes Employee

I am a bit upset that the company you work for dosen't seam to care for it's own employees when comes to help online with medicial issues. I never got the insurance medical card when I applied for it, even though money is coming out of my pay check for the premium plan. I got the pharmacy card, but now bills are starting to come in because the information on claims wouldn't work with the the Dr. office when the bill was sent to them. Further more, the plan is only good for $1000 a year for the part time workers.
