Will never buy from them again. Purchased eight items and paid a little more than $14,000.00. Three of the eight items were damaged at the warehouse and not delivered. After many attempts to receive they started sending things one at a time. We are still waiting on two items and it has been over three months. They keep saying they are repairing a love seat. A table was ordered three times due to damage. We are not getting the damaged items delivered the warehouse is good enough to catch the problem before delivery. I do not even want a repaired love seat. It would have been faster if they just re-ordered in the first place. I will never buy from Cra Z Boy again and I will definitely make sure my friends don’t either.

Really Bad workmanship

We purchased two expensive recliners. Waited forever for them to arrive and when they did the delivery men couldn't wait to get out of the house. These are the worst example of chairs we have ever seen anywhere. Material all puckered up in different places so both chairs look terrible together. One arm broken on delivery and 3 months later after I have to make all the calls..still not fixed. One seat slants so you are sitting almost sidewys and both head pieces are at a slant. The Tech says they are made to factory specifications and therefore the only thing they fix is the arm. Bought Lazy Boy furniture for years. This is the last time. Terrible Customer Service/Repair/Communication. I do better at Value City

Disappointed!

Very disappointed in delivery of sofa bed. Had to pay full amount prior to delivery and take time off from work for delivery (could not pick block of time). Delivery men first tried to take window out and then had to take door off room. Several scrapes on leather; technician came out but has to order material. Furniture delivered 5/3 and repairs still not made. Will not be repeat customer.

First just wanted to say that customer service is horrible. I purchased a couch which we are happy with. We also purchased side tables & a coffee table. My complaint is with the tables. They are the worse, they won't replace but have the replacement pc sent to my house and then "I" have to call the service dpt to come fix it. They are the worse furniture company that I ever dealt with. If I could send back all these table I would. City Furniture has better quality tables and a better return policy.

Poor Quality

I've purchased several La-Z-boy chairs since 1976 and had been pleased. I recently purchased a couch and chair. The couch upholestering on one back cushion wasn't straight, even though they aren't loose cushions. They replaced the fabric, but now it's gathered w/puckering down the length of the back. The store manager @ the San Marcos,CA store won't call me back. I've left 3-4 messages. Extremely poor customer service @ both the store and customer service department. Cutomer service doesn't return calls either. I wanted to exchange my sofa, but no longer. I just want a refund and I will never deal w/them again.

Worst Customer Service Ever

My husband and I bought a Reclina-Glider Swivel Rocker from the Davenport IA store. We had it four months when two bolts broke where the chair is attached to the base. Mind you, my husband who is the only person who sits in the chair, weighs 150 lbs so it is not a stress issue. La-z-boy sent a repairman to fix it. Two months later two bolts broke again. Repairman fixed it again (3 to 4 week wait each time). Four months later one bolt broke. I contacted the store and explained that the problem with this chair is not being resolved by changing out the bolts. I let them know that I am soooo not happy with my purchase. The woman said she would talk to the service manager and get back to me. Needless to say, there was no call back and she dodged my calls for two weeks. Eventually I got the answer "It was out of the service manager's hands. You will have to contact corporate". What a joke! All corporate did was tell me I had to deal with the store I bought it from. I thought La-Z-Boy was a good place to by quality furniture. By all the bad reviews and the low 1.4 overall rating, this company SUCKS and does NOT stand by what they sell. You are a wonderful customer until they get your money. I will spread the word to all my friends, DONT BY FROM LAZYBOY!

Disgusted

Laz-y-boy galleries of Lexington, South Carolina is the most disgusting experience I have had in many years. Broken recliner after about 6 months, Cannot get anyone to admit to being the Manager, so-called Sales Manager was rude, confrontational and a part of the problem. Poor quality, poor customer skills, poor attitude. Go to someone you can trust.

HEARTLESS

We purchased 2 lift recliners in the late fall and were told they would not be available for delivery until the end of December. That was fine as we were in no hurry for them and did not have them delivered until about January 15th or so. My husband had a cancer operation on February 12th and was in hospital for 3 full weeks. Upon arriving home he tried to adjust to the lift chair as it was so much firmer than what we thought it would be. Less than 3 weeks later my husband had a stroke and a brain injury came along with it. I called the Laz y Boy store in Langley and was told I only had 30 days to return the product. Excuse me but my husband's health was much more important than the dam chair!!!! I assume I was supposed to pay more attention to the 30 day limitation than I was to what was actually going on in our house. Thank you Laz y Boy..... we will never shot at that store again.

How inept can one store be?

I attempted to purchase a Jenna power recliner from the Warwick RI store. the first attempt was a Saturday, when most people have the day off for shopping. The parking lot was barricaded and I was advised by a scruffy looking man that there was an event. I asked if I could buy a chair and he said he would "try" to have the manager meet me at the door but couldn't promise that it would happen. So I left. The following Monday evening I tried again. There were 2 salespeople in the store and 2 customers. No one said anything to us. When one of the customers left the salesperson helping her decided to make a phone call rather than offer assistance. We were there 35 minutes when finally a new salesperson arrived. She approached us. I asked to see the Jenna chair and she said it was not in the store. I asked how I was supposed to buy a chair if I couldn't see it and she told me there wasn't room for all the chairs in the store and to buy it online. I left. It must be nice to not need customers or sales. My goal now is to make sure everyone I know understands how inept Lazboy is at selling a chair, at least in the Warwick RI store.

Dissatisfied Customer

Purchased two leather recliners two years ago and purchased extended warranty. About two weeks ago I noticed spots on one of the chairs and the leather is mushy. Turns out the extended warranty is a sham. We have received the runaround and they will not even come out and look at the chair! This company does not stand by its products. Will never set foot in one of their stores again.

Wish I'd read this first

Like so many others on this site, I am very unhappy with my products. I have been trying to deal with customer service, but the are dodging me. One call I was told that the pilling of the fabric is normal and that I should get a pill-shaver. This when the furniture is lightly used and not even 6 months old! Now they are not returning my calls. LaZboy is TERRIBLE!

Lied To

I purchased a recliner for my elderly mother, (81), needed express delivery, purchased on sat,, was told they would call on mon. for 3 hr. window delivery for tues. Guess what ? Warehouse is closed on Mon., purchase ticket says estimated time of delivery is Fri., which was folded and put in a pamplet and salesman knowing the situation didnt seem to care as he was the one that lied. I promise i will be Lazy Boy's best advertisement

horrible

Lazy boy is DEFINITELy not what it used to be. I ordered 6100 dollars worth of furniture, two recliners, one power sofa and an end table. It took THREE end tables before I got one that ws not chipped or marred in some way. Two sofas and the second one needs repair after 2 weeks for two head pillows flattened and seams on the foot rest unraveling. I am on my THIRD delivery for the two recliners as the first two sets came in with leather literallly hanging off of the chairs. THe manager in the warwick RI store Jake hung up on me and told me I was setting up the furniture to be damaged..I think that is slander Jake..and I will be pursuing legal action on Lazy Boy..>STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!

Lazy Boy problem

Purchased a Lazy Boy recliner on 11/13/12 The head rest is worn so bad it is almost bare. I will never buy another lazy boy.

So Awesome

First and foremost, we love your products. We continually buy Lazy Boy products for our growing home and family. My husband loves his lazy boy and he has had it since 1996. We take very good of any items we purchase. We recently had to take it in to the service center and my husband was pleaseantly surprised by the awesome customer service. They were able to fix it and now feels like a brand new lazy boy. Thanks so much for the great customer service and more importantly for getting it done immediately and having the lazy boy that night to enjoy.

scamers less than zero rating

Do not under any circumstances buy anything from lazyboy no warranty at all they will tell you it meets thier standards and you may have an extra charge warranty and not even know it as they are including the warranty in the sale price tried to do it to me illegal no recourse except for attorney general this company shoud be out of business very rude no answers no comunication i was told the lazy boy delivery men play tricks on customers to get them to accept the merchandise

No Service, AT ALL

I ordered a couch back in the beginning of December (three months ago) and received nothing yet. My wife called the store a month ago and we never received a call back. I walked into the store almost three weeks ago and they said the couch would be delivered in two weeks. I walked into the store today and again, they said it would be delivered in two weeks. It has been a terrible experience at your Strongsville, Ohio store. I think I am going to go back this week and cancel my order and go somewhere else. The best thing you could do would be to fire salesman who took my money but gave me nothing.

Bait & Switch

We purchased a La-Z-Boy recliner sofa that was/is excellent! Following major spine surgery it was a life-saver, as I spent countless hours on it. Then we decided to replace our two stand-alone recliners. My wife is very pleased with hers; mine is a totally different story. I expected the same quality in my new recliner that we have in the sofa. WRONG! After about six months, the chair began to develop 'sink holes' in the arms and back. La-Z-Boy came out to correct the problem and then I discovered what the problem really is. He opened the upholstery and revealed nothing but shredded waste! His resolution was simply to stuff more of this shredded waster material into the chair! Instead of a high quality, firm and supportive chair built with the same construction as the sofa, I am stuck with a shoddy piece of furniture that is now ready to be replaced.

i bought a rocker recliner from one of your dealers 3 years ago. the die started wareing off the chaie in less than a year. the dealer went to you with the problem and after 9 mo. of hagleing you replaced the chaie. now less that a year later this one is doing the same thing. very poor product. i thought more of the company than this. i thought i would go straight to you this time as i feel the dealer has done his part the chair ie leather vinel

Flawed Chair and Terrible Customer Service

Purchased a power recliner and it tilts to one side and the padding on one whole side of the chair is about 1 1/2 inches higher than the other. Been 5 1/2 months with numerous communications with store. Corporate office denies anything wrong even when top sales person personally looked at the chair and confirmed the flaws. Still unresolved, but letter being sent to Michigan. La-Z-Boy isn't what it used to be and will encourage everyone we know to stay away! Very disappointed in what used to be an American icon in furniture!!
