Worst customer service ever!
Purchased three reliner couches and two chairs. The leather recliner has a spring sticking out between the cushions. Contacted Comfort Care 4 times, local store 1 time and corporate headquarters today. Customer care has never contacted me, local store claims that Customer Care is overloaded with work and will get back to me as soon as they can and Corporate send me to a voicemail to leave my complaint. It has been 7 weeks since my initial call for repair. Totally unacceptable.
Still waiting on my replacement furniture for 2 of the 3 pieces that were purchased. It' only been 6 months. La-Z-Boy did offer me a $100.00 La-Z-Boy gift card to use in their showroom. I said that was an insult since it has been 6 months since this process started. I'm very disappointed. I feel like I would have better furniture and customer service if I would have gone to Walmart.
Paint
We bought an lazy boy chai all the paint is coming of the collar is casual oak
Very Poor Quality
Growing up my parents always purchased La-Z-Boy and my parents loved it. I recently purchase a couch and recliner. The recliner has been replaced twice and is being sent back again. The fabric is loose and the foot piece is crooked. Every time someone sits on the couch you can hear the springs squeak. They told me there is nothing they can do about that. The furniture is six months old. It is a disgrace how they let this company go down the tubes. Even the serviceman told me it was the worst product to purchase. I guess that is why they call it "Lazy Boy"
Lazyboy sleeper sofa
We purchased a sleeper sofa from Herman's furniture in Sandusky Ohio and it was delivered in August and the coushions are already worn out and a representative brought new cores and those already broke down as well. It looks like the couch is 10 years old.The sleeper sofa was $1400.00 and we are very very disappointed and will never buy lazyboy again!!!!
I purchased a complete set of leather sofas loveseat and coffee table, and 2endtables. Within 2 years of use, the 2 sofas lost color, shape and form. The loveseat foot rest on recline split in half. We were very disappointed with the quality and the use of all three pieces....2 sofas and 1 loveseat were made not to wear well and were downright cheap. We will never purchase any future furniture from lazyboy. Poor quality!
I should have read these reviews before I bought furniture from them.
I don't know where to begin. The Fairview Height's, Il store has by far the worst customer service that I have ever had from any place that I have ever done business with. But after reading these reviews this looks like a nation wide problem, and it's obvious their corporate HQ could care less. It's beyond pathetic. My advice to anyone thinking about buying any La-Z-Boy product, is don't do it. So if you live in the metro St. Louis area, save your self some grief and spend you hard earned money elsewhere. La-Z-Boy use to be quality furniture, not any more. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture.
Scam
DO Not buy from this company they donot stand behind ttheir products and customers are not valued. We spend over $17000 in merchandise at the store in Apopka FL. The order was placed over six months ago, and as of today it still has not been completed. They are giving us the run around, and trying to scam us of more money for items we already paid. The manager has no idea of what's going on, and neither the employees. Buyer be ware.
Damaged door on delivery
Had a delivery of a sofa bed to our newly renovated cottage on Cape Cod. The delivery men damaged the new slider, and my husband signed the paper after the damage was done( was told the signature was that he received the furniture) Called the store and sent photos of the damage, was told they would not repair the door because my husband signed the paper. Wow, they must be doing really well to afford their customers writing bad reviews, ( not to mention telling everyone they know NOT to buy from their company)
horrible
I bought a new lazy boy sofa recliner and have tried twice when I first received it to have a repair service call. The man came to my home and told me the same thing both times, there is nothing wrong with this product. Strane though that the other end of the couch isn't the same. Very loose. I now can pay $109.00 since its out of warranty and I'll bet you they fix it this time. I tell everyone I know not to but from them. Too bad, they use to have a good product and good service. NOT ANYMORE.
Chair Owner
To all People that are thinking about buying a Lazy Boy Product: We purchased a Lazy Boy Recliner 04-22-2009, the produce cost of this Leather Recliner $700.00 Plus the $ 80.00 service warranty. After four years of ownership of this product the Seam has separated and in the seat of the chair, " I never sit in the chair" My wife is the only person that sits in the chair, Lazy Boy Customer service said they can do nothing as the chair has only a One Year Parts and Labor Warranty, The Warranty sold by Lazy Boy that is the Ultra Shield Warranty said they do not cover any seam issues as well. I write this because this is not a quality product, and the Warranty they sell is very limited in what is covered, We will not buy another product from Lazy Boy...
Shoddy Service
My furniture order was complete and delivered within the time frame given - two months from purchase. Not so with two lamps I purchased at the same time - which I still do not have, and which one presumes were never ordered. A saga of excuses and delays by the sales person just don't redeem the fault. This is tantamount to one shooting oneself in the foot. No one within my outreach will ever order from La-z-y Boy. That's a fact!.
Lazyboy no better than Brick
Unreal, who would of though after 30 years of purchasing Lazyboy Furniture specifically because of its warranty and quality that after all this time it would be cheap, untrue, and no better warranty than the Brick. Sad Lazyboy we won't pay the extra to buy just cheap, low grade leather, or run of the mill bedroom suits, etc.. Really sad thought that you were in a class your own, now know for sure your just a cheap retailer. Shame on you for letting your product disintegrate and your service and warranty also. Going to look for a better grade furniture supplier.
Disgusting customer service!!!!! Dropped of new chair with stain on it then the driver proceeded to scratch off the dried on stain. I didn't notice the bald spot the driver left on the chair until they left. I called the store and was transferred to the customer service center who put me on hold for 20 minutes. So I called the store again to talk to someone there and the first thing they asked was why did I accept the chair? They refused to replace the chair without picking up the old one first but when u change your schedule at work to be able to wait for the first delivery you don't have the luxury of waiting all day for them to pick it back up and then have to miss more work to receive a replacement. No compensation was offered for the trouble no compromising to make this a smooth transition after they delivered a damaged product and the delivery driver caused more damage to the product. Worst experience I have ever had with a company especially making such a large purchase with them! Absolutely Disgusting!!!! Don't waste your money or time!!!!!
Horrible Experience- Milford CT
After 8 weeks of waiting, chair was delivered with a hole in the back. Given no time frame as to replacement.Probably the most rude and inconsiderate customer service received by manager of Milford CT store. I have bought many Lazy Boy Products over the years but will never buy from them again.
Tremendously UNHAPPY!!
i have always bought Lazy Boy in the past and loved them, but they have changed the foam they put in the recliners. My $1000.00 for each recliner has not gone very far. They foam had flattened after 2 weeks and they have replaced parts but they don't last. I have only had the chairs a few months and they look like they are 10 yrs.old. Like everyone else I have tried customer service and I was told to fluff the chairs like you fluff a pillow. They should be called customer DIS-SERVICE. I will never buy Lazy Boy again! I gave them 1 star but it should have been -5 stars.
Terriable Customer service
Been trying for 6 days to talk to customer service-----leave message and we will call back....did it twice still waiting for return call, left one message each to two, presumably customer service managers. Still waiting for call from one the other one did return my call this past SUNDAY at 9:11a.m. A family day, church day etc. Left message to return call, left customer service number no extension. Left another message today with the second person I called last week to return my call.
We bought a sofa and a special order recliner. When delivered Oth were damaged. The chair had been hit on the arm damaging the foam and underneath. The sofa had worn spots on the back probably Lu happening during shipping. We should have denied shipment but they insisted that calling the service center would resolve this. We had to wait 8 weeks for parts and repair. The furniture will never look like new. We called the center again and demanded a new chair but will probably have to get just a new arm. The repair on the arm is ok but doesn't match the other. We hope after talking to the service center we can get the chair replaced. Well think twice before getting lay z boy again. This is our second set of living room furniture
Customer Service
I purchased a set of chairs from lazy boy in Feb. 2013. They were both sub-par and picked up by a service rep. approx. 1 1/2 mths later. We received a call in the end of May 2013 that only one chair was repairable, and that they would give us a credit for the other. We paid extra for the fabric protection also. We bought them as a set and wished to keep them as a set. I have found that finding personnel to help us with this is very difficult.
Bought very expensive recliner, salesman talked me into warranty and how wonderful warranty and service was so I purchased that as well. Been waiting 3 months and still waiting for my chair to be fixed! Trust me do not buy a lazy boy! Service and care are awful they just want your hard earned money!
