Actually no Stars! but there was a no stars indication. I have had nothing but problems with my Kodak all in one printer ESP3 software will not install, I keep getting message ''error code missing.'' Messages telling me to replace cartridges when I have replaced them. poor printing. which actually appears similar to the background on the Kodak websites (lots of lines) I contact help via chat and wait and wait and wait. telling me I have to wait 1.46 but do not know if that means days weeks years etc certainly it is not minutes because I have waited over twenty minutes and no response. Eventually someone came on to chat. I got message they were reviewing question. I never got another message. I guess they went back to sleep in some remote outpost of India I am thinking my only way out is another make of printer Kodak should stay at that which they know best Camera's
I am very disappointed at the type of service and quality of the Kodak products. In the past year, I’ve had my AiO printer replaced 5 times and still this last one I was sent continues to have the same problems. Every time you call the customer support, you spent at least 2 hrs going back & forth with them because you have to have them repeat every other word they say since you can barely understand them.... When they do replace the damn thing, they only provide you with a refurbished unit (which is NOT what you originally bought) and they want to give you only a 90 day warranty. This is ridiculous, who has time to waste calling these morrons every other wk to have the unit checked for issues to ultimately get it replaced for yet another stupid unit that has the same ISSUES...... KODAK SUCKS. We should all get together and start our own class action suit, that out to teach them a lesson not to mess with peoples money...........
I will resolve my own crappy printer problem against Eastman Kodak, the American way, I will file suit against Eastman Kodak and suggest you all do the same. Its simple, go to your local courthouse and ask how to file a Small Claims suit. Take it from there and follow through. The ONLY way to get through to this company {which has turned to shit} is to sue them. A few lawsuits, although small, will get the message across. When Kodak sells a product in the USA then proceeds to heavily advertise said product as a quality product which claims to provide the service for which the customer is actually purchasing the product, then fails miserably to comply with the advertised promises, that is called FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. FRAUD TO THE CONSUMER. I paid good money for this printer, it was not inexpensive, but it has failed me since I bought it. Customer service sucks beyond words, and they aren't even located in the USA. In fact, the most recent solution their customer service rep offered me, was to purchase a brand new printer from their company and they would offer to give me a percentage off. How about fix the problem with the current printer which I purchased for over $250.00 and lets get that to work properly first. Suing is the only option I have now.
I recently purchased a Kodak #2170 AIO Printer from Best Buy October 2011. After making several abortive attempts to install the printer, I am now made aware that this printer is not compatible with my HP Touchscreen Desktop. I made several calls to Kodak to resolve the issue and can never get assistance. I've called Kodak' 800 421-6699, the call keeps dropping, Kodak @ 212 330-5113 and no one ever picks up, I contacted Kodak 716 724-4000, the phone is perpetually busy. The conclusion, I will never purchased another Kodak product again. I also will not purchase from Best Buy because once you've opened the item, they will not take it back even though you have your proof of purchase/receipt. What a scam.....Stop patronizing companies that do not stand behind their products!!!!!! BestBuy and/or Kodak, I'll see you in small claims court, will also be reporting this to BBB and FTC.
It's interesting to hear I am not the only person to have had the worst customer service from Kodak and their South African 'technical support and customer care' team I've ever experienced. I've been lied to and hung up on whilst being 'put on hold' so many times now and they have sent me faulty 'refurbished' printers three times instead of a new working replacement for the original esp printer I bought. Truly, Kodak cannot make printers that work, they are just big useless lumps of plastic taking up room. I recommend people to boycott Kodak products, then it will be interesting to see if they take people's complaints more seriously. They act like a company that are going out of business and have zero respect for customers. They are a total disgrace. My advice if you're looking for a printer, buy an epsom or HP. They work.
Customer Service, What customer service??????? I called to replace the paper tray. I call 800-421-6699 and after pushing the submenu numbers, I was told(auto system) to hold a rep would be speaking to me within 15 minutes. After 26:32 of not just waiting, but listening to a busy signal, I hung up. Then I called the other number 800-235-6325, I talked to a live person from INDIA(now we know why there are no jobs in this country) who did help me & I placed my order for the replacement, which should have been free for all the aggrevation. And of course the price of ink increased since I purchase my printer in '09. No wonder Kodak stock is in the crapper. Someone in Kodak better wake up and modernize their customer service.
Well, I just need a label to return my camera for repair. 5 calls and 1 month later, still waiting. I called the corporate number in NY, (please try your call again) are you kidding me. My next step is comsumer complaint agency. Let's bow are heads and pray.
Today is October 5, 2011. I checked the most recent stock price per share of EK (Eastman Kodak) just moments ago. The current price of $1.23 has less to do with the revenue generated by film over three-quarters of a century than it does about the corporate disregard for it's bread and butter, the consumer. CEO Anthony Perez should step down. The Better Business Bureau graded Kodak with an F nationwide. That's mismanagement and an inferior product. You can't separate the two. With proper management, the standard that kept Kodak thriving for many decades would still be true. Kodak and Apple Pie made the occasions more special! If Perez doesn't leave, we lose an icon.
Eastman Kodak, who once stood for quality, should be ashamed of themselves for perpetrating a hoax and fraud on the unsuspecting public by offering knowingly defective products and then not rectifying the situation and providing customer satisfaction. You are connected to employees who cannot converse in English and are not empowered to take action to properly correct a situation, all done through a totally useless and incompetent customer service department. Ask for someone in customer relations and they tell you that you may only contact them by email and will not provide any phone numbers. The entire company shields itself from having to deal with their defective products. This is a public corporation!! I have had the same product replaced again with another one that doesn't work and they don't care. I am surprised that I haven't seen a class action suit started.
i like you all will never buy a kodak again. there customer support sucks.ans i asked to get a American on the phone went over seas. do not buy any kodak products
I just was hung up on by your representative and I am totally frustrated with your lack of concern about a legitimate complaint. I lost the original USB cable that came with my EasyShare CD83 camera, S/N KCGNN03409859. I contacted Kodak via internet and at the suggestion of your representative ordered USB cable Micro B/5-pin. When I received the cable, I connected it to my computer and immediately plugged it into the camera. It became burning hot and started to smoke. So here I am unable to transfer pictures from the camera to the computer. Your phone rep told me I could accomplish this by inserting a card into the slot on my computer. There is no such slot as he described...he got extremely rude and kept telling me we were going around in circles. I told him he was not listening to me...I need to know how to transfer pictures since the Kodak USB cable almost caused a fire!!Your phone representatives need to learn how to properly treat customers with legitimate complaints...hanging up is not the way!!!
I see I'm not the only one who got stuck with a "useless" Kodak printer. I WILL NEVER buy Kodak products again, and, I will tell everyone who may ask that Kodak printers are junk, there service is non-existant, unless you speak swahili, you can't get any usable advice. To bad this compant did not stay in the good ol USA. A company that is as old as Kodak should have good products, they did at one time, then to pad their profits sent everything over seas, and now this company has only junk to offer and foreigners to try to correct the junk we Americans have been stuck with.
kodak is really really not a good they suck im going though my 3rd camera and it still does not work
I bought a Kodak last july and the camera never worked correctly, Mind you I paid for the camera myself, and am only 15, thats alot of baby sitting, and it's not the best job ever but it's better than not working. So when I get the camera I did get the insurance go figure a day short dollar foolheardy best buy would not replace because of the date, but said since it was within the yr that they would send it to Kodak and they would fix. Well I didn't have the camera for my graduation so the sales girl at best buy told me to buy another one then return it the next day while I wait for mine. Kind of Sady I thought and Mom said no anyway. three weeks later kodac sent it back to best buy and off we went.it is now August and my camera is still not working I discovierd this while on vaction where you would normally use one that it still wasn't working. Back to best buy mom mom drives me for the 4th time now, just saying best by said I could send it back to you for 84.50 or that round about #. Not a chance the camera is defective apprently, since I still have a deffictive camera. have no pictures. I think it is both poor customer serive on both bust buy, 1. because they indorse your product truly, and I really don't think it is could custer releation that such a large company as Kodac would not replace the deffective camera, not to mention the fact we have purchase in the last two other cameras; yes they are kodac's now I guess I will be out 3 cameras at this rate shame on Me.
Printer died after a couple month and these overseas people are horrible. they keep giving me the same excuses over and over again, like they are stupid and wont listen to what i am saying. im tired of the run around! im going right to the bbb.
I have an All In One printer that started having scanner problems. I contacted tech support and after 50 minutes on the phone and installing the "latest" software (twice) the problem was not resolved. It even got worse with more error messages then I originally started with. The the tech (Harmeet #10163529) refused to let me speek with his supervisor (Christoper Collins) and then he hung up on me. I called back twice and finally spoke with Harry and a supervisor named Mr Chong #10143636. They assured me that they - Kodak doesn't hang up on customers. They refused to let me speek with someone in the United States and told me that Kodak does not have a phone number in the US. The problem still exists and I am unable to get help from Kodak.
I bought a kodak Easy Share Z981 right off bat rechargeable batteries dont work. Thank you Kodak for selling American Jobs out you traders and cowards Don't buy Kodak.
After spending a total of 5 hours on July 1st with 2 separate phones calls, my issue with my scanner was not resolved. I was informed that a "supervisor" would call me on July 2nd at 4pm. At 4:40pm I placed another call to your help center and was informed that the "supervisor" would call me in an hour. When I received this call, the supervisor informed me he would have to "take control" of my computer. As I value my privacy and protect information on my computer that is related to my job I found this a completely unacceptable solution. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in your product and your technical support. I will not be recommending any of your products.
I bought a kodak camera the lens stopped working. They gave me a run around over and over,so i just gave up and bought another one and it did the same thing.Kodak is very unprofessional, rude customer service. You don't get know where. They will not listen.I will never by another kodak product and I will spread the news. What a waste of money!!!
i just sent off my 6th,thats right 6th email to kodak customer service ,it says they'll contact me back within 48 hours(the 1st email was sent 6 weeks ago and all ive seen are sales ads from the company, like i'll ever buy anything else from a company that has no customer support.)my all in one printer worked great till i had to replace the ink, cheap yes,but ive used 80% of the new cartridges to try to get it to print without a purple tint.CAN ANYONE AT KODAK HEAR ME???????a one great company that has completely abandon ANY attempt at customer sevice(out $120.00 for the printer and over $60.00 for replacement ink--a $180.00 lesson ,going back to hp i guess(tho they suck too)).
