109 Reviews For JP Morgan Chase Headquarters & Corporate Office

Forst off, I would like to tell the people who wrote the "Review" on 11/15/10, titled; "A 35 Year Customer Now Leaving JPM Chase" you gave this Bank 5 stars and your Review sounds like you meant to give JP Morgan Chase 1 or 2 stars. Now for me, I will make this short because anytime I am around something affiliated with JP Morgan Chase I feel I am betraying my Country and I start to feel ill. If none of you have heard what this JP Morgan Chase has done to the Soldiers in many of the Armed Services recently (well, over about the last 5-8 years), I would Google how they treated the Soldiers on the battle front for years and made it a living hell for the ones overseas to have a decent conversation with their family because they had to spend every second of most of their calls on thinking of ways to avoid JP Morgan Chase from foreclosing on them and their family. they continued year after year to go against the law and charge thousands of dollars to the Soldiers and their families late fees, higher interest rates, and many other illegal charges just to continue their tradition of ripping off not just any customer but the customers who fight for our freedom. I really encourage anybody who does not know this story, and how JP Morgan Chase continued year after year ripping off Soldiers who were fighting in the wars starting back in the Persian Gulf War all the way up top the current wars in the Middle East. This Bank has proved to me how mean, dishonest, and uncaring the reps are who reply to the messages sent through the Chase Message Center, the employees in the branches, and the reps who answer the phone when you call in hopes of getting a compassionate person to help you with some errors in charges that come through. First and foremost is how they treated the Soldiers fighting for our freedom year after year, and when they were caught, they send a female Customer service rep to answer the questions the politicians had. This Bank did not even have enough back-bone to send the CEO, CFO or Executive President to this session on the outrageous acts they played against the Soldiers and their families. When my debit card was recently used as a way for a business to add charges to the transaction skip, after I signed it, I could not even get any help from the Message Center reps. they told me, "it is not a credit card so you have no rights," or, "you should have checked the slip before you signed it, so go back to the business and see if they can get it straight for you." Well, after I had told them numerous times that the extra charges were added after I signed the transaction slips, and it happened many times, but it took me 8 calls to the Customer Service number to get somebody who would finally help me and really look and see that there was definitely a problem. Even the amount they got pre-approved for the transaction did not come close to the tickets the Bank eventually received. It was just another nightmare. If you are interested in saving yourself from undue pain, do not even get involved with this evil, dishonest, mean, money-hungry group of Executives who have trained the real workers to not give decent customer service, to lie, to also be ruthless, and many other disgusting traits that I have encountered first hand from so many of Chase's employees.

Everybody trying to send in a Review of this JP Morgan Chase company, make sure if you mean to give them a low score you select 1 or 2 stars and NOT 5 stars. Some of you have written negative reviews but gave them 5 stars. I can see how it can be missed and Chase will not make it more clear because anything deceiving they are attracted to, anything honest, friendly, and true, they will not tolerate it. so make sure you rate this company with the correct amount of stars.

i got a good one for you. I am in my house for over 10 years, I fell behind a few month because of a city relocation of my business, to make way for the new sky train. airport) Finally I asked Chase for a reinstatement quote, I received form Chases Attorneys, I had to pay over 17,000.00 which included all the late fees and attorneys fess and what ever. My first payment was do on Dec 1, 2010, I paid in Nov 17, but I still was getting collection calls from chase. I informed the agents, I am fully reinstated, no luck same old spiel. I paid my Jan payment in Dec and still was getting collection calls. I informed chase attorney, they told me Mrs you got a reinstatement quote, you paid it in full.. you don't get it it means what it is. You don't own anything, you should not get collection call, but no longer our problem. I received notice that I own money. I disputed that and was told this is not my fault, I did what I was told to do. It was chases and or the attorneys fault. Not to worry they have to work out who is responsible to such mistake. That went on for weeks.. Well I just received a letter that I am in foreclosure because I still owe money. chase made a mistake on the reinstatement quote and I have to pay up or get foreclosed on. I told the attorneys, NOT my mistake, Not my problem you excepted MY payment and did not send back or refused the certified check payment. I held up my end You told me to do, its now your turn to do the same. So we will see whats next. but I will file a complaint with the attorney general in phx that chase is defrauding me, misinforming, and been deceitful trying to steal my property with it fraudulent acts. And I have the same experiences as many above posts, nobody from that bank has a clue.. hang ups.. telling you anything... not helping... going from one person to another.. having to give the same information thousand of times... I have a business for over 28 years.. i would not have one single person cleaning my toilets with their service and behavior. People need to stand up and do something about it. I know I will...

IF YOU HAD HALF A STAR, THAT WOULD BE MY GRADE FOR CHASE. HOW CAN ANYBODY, KNOWING HOW THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY RIPPED OFF THE SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN WHO WERE FIGHTING FOR OUR FREEDOM RATE YOU ANYTHING HIGHER THAN A 1 STAR IS BEYOND ME. THEY MUST BE AS UNETHICAL AND RIP-OFF ARTISTS AS YOU ARE. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW ANY OF THE EMPLOYEES THAT WORK FOR THIS EVEIL AND UNETHICAL COMPANY CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT KNOWING NOT ONLY HOW THIS COMPANY RIPPED OFF IN A HUGH WAY AND ADDEDD YEARS OF STRESS FROM TRYING TO GET TREATED FAIRLY FROM THIS OUTRAGEOUSLY EVIL COMPANY. SINCE I HAVE DEALT WITH CHASE/JP MORGAN THE DAY YOU TOOK OVER WAMU, I KNEW RIGHT AWAY I WAS DEALING WITH A BUNCH OF LIERS, MONEY-HUNGRY EMPLOYEES WHO WOULD DO ANYTHING TO GET A NEW ACCOUNT, A CUSTOMER SIGNING UP FOR A NEW CREDIT CARD, ETC. If you watch the national news with your Chase Rep. who say at that table like a duck out of water not having any idea what to say to a couple of the poor Service Men and Women families who were ripped of by JP Morgan/Chase for years, had their house foreclosed on while they were in active duty, and still have no remorse, this is exactly the same "feeling" I felt when I first had to talk to a Chase employee about my checking account. The so-calld Rep. in the Message Center on your website, have no idea what is truth and what is false because one time an employee will answer a question one way and the next time (if I knew the answer could not have been right or complete) I GET A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ANSWER. You are all liars, unethical people who were trained to put the customer last and your finances first. When my debit card was filled in regularly by a coffee shop I visited, and I finally realized it, I called in and was told so many different stories from "sir there is nothing you can do since this is not a credit card," to" I am sorry but you can call this number but I am unable to help you," "to one lady told me that I was not responsible for the charges that came through on the debit card if I did not make them. One person out of about 6 told me an answer that showed a hint of empathy and understanding. After I spent months dealing with your ignorant, rude, evil, dis-honest employees, to finally get one who seemed on the right road but when I called and spoke to the Managers, I was back at square one. They knew I was not responsible for the credit slip that was sent through for authorization but would not make any of this ordeal easy on me. You can tell they are all taught/trained by the same employee book that came from thugs, with no empathy for me as a customer who was ripped of from a person at the coffee shop. Did they try to help me their customer? NO, they were fighting for the owner who ripped me of at the coffee shop. it was a surreal experience. I am so tired of hearing Chase's name I can't wait for the day I can get rid of you as my bank. why you get so much [pleasure in treating your customers like you do is beyond my wildest imaginations. However, you must have your reasons but I hope one day you get to experience how it felt for the families who were fighting for your freedom while you were foreclosing on the servicemen and women's houses, adding continual late fees and all kinds of illegal maneuvers you did for years. In closing, it makes me sick to think of Chase Bank and I would encourage anybody looking for a new bank to go to a bank that will at least smile at you, try not to tag on all kinds of fines and fees so they can become richer of of people who are making an average income. I hope you can all sleep well at night knowing how you have a job that calls for continual ripping off of your customers, lying to the service men and women who are fighting for your freedom. TO SUM THIS ALL UP, JP MORGAN/CHASE MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE DAY I AM TOTALLY FREED FROM THEIR GAMES, SCAMS, AND RIP OFF MANEUVERS.

Oh so you have to read my honest rating of your bank now. Why not post the accurate feedback current customers give of this company called JP Morgan/Chase Bank? In my review I just submitted, there is not one untrue comment so if you decide not to post it it is because of you continued desire from hiding the truth from innocent people.

My story is very similar to the guy leaving after 35 years, except my score is not over 800 (my husband's is). Never late with payments. Something popped up about us on Experian, and they cut us off. No one at the branch has authority to override it. They don't even know what popped up. I think I do, and it's a $120 Home Depot mistake. Really really frustrated and mad.

Chase has the worst customer service of anyone that I know!

our home mortage is with chase since they took over our washington mutal acct. we never had any problems with wa, but soon as chase took over, we've had NOTHING but problems. they paid our house taxes that were ALREADY PAID in our bankrupcy. now, going on month 7 trying to resolve. in the meantime, it shows us late on mortage payments bec we refuse to pay for taxes that were already paid. NO ONE ever knows what department to route us to, then we MIGHT get lucky and speak to 1 rep per month who actually helps us, only to be told they do not have a direct line back to them. So once again, the re-routing for hours and days on end restarts monthly trying to get this ONE ISSUE resolved. THEN, God forbid we get a fax# to send info to, that issued fax# then becomes THE WRONG NUMBER to fax the info to, which puts us back at square one.......... NOTHING RESOLVED and our credit getting ruined in the process. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH, way to go CHASE..... absolutely THE WORST excuse for a COMPANY EVERRRRRRR....................

I have been a Chase customer for over 10 years. Never missed a payment, just finished paying it off. I wanted to do a balance transfer of my wife's discover card which is at 17% and use some other money for home improvement - roof repair. I login in and it said my account is not currently accepting any balance transfers. I have a credit score over 800. Over the years my card was converted into a Slate card. I called the customer service asking for a balance tranfer, nope, unable to do that. OK, I see you have a slate card with 0% interest for 18 months and free balance transfer, WHAT!!! This is a slate card as well. I have been a customer for 10 years and I can not get the same benefits on my exsisting slate card as a new customer of theirs who has a slate card. These big banks have no clue how to run a bank. The same here, talked with some one of foreign accent and hard to understand. She admitted she couldn't even understand what I was asking for -- BALANCE TRANSFER!!!

So does anyone communicate at Chase Home Finance? We have been trying to get a home modification for two years, yes two years and in my opinion they are absolutely the worst company to deal with, without any equivocation. The previous comments posted from someone else was true "7 people from 8 states" what is that about? Half Indian half rastafarian associates with no clue or people skills for that matter. We have never been more insulted in our lives. Two words that doesn't exsist in Chases vocab- help and hope. Useless comes to mind. Simply frustrated!

Washington Mutual was my credit card,,it got bought out by Chase,, my interest rate on my WAMU card was 11.99%,,never a late payment , never a missed payment, never an overlimit charge,,, Chase sends me a letter in June 2010 that their raising my interest rate to 26.99%,,with a reason listed as over limit charge,,,I call them and get a foreign speaking woman,,,who I can hardly understand and she looks at my account and by her own admission,,tells me she sees nothing that would have caused this ,,as I never been over limit or late ,,and that my account would be reviewed in the next 90 days,, still no changes or reduced interest rate. When my account from WAMU was changed over to Chase it had a zero balance,,but during the transfer it got a paypal charge of $500,,from someone Id never heard of for some Google service?,,long story short I fought it and stopped it,,as I was checking the account when it posted,,,it still took aprox 30 days to correct and new account number issued. I applied for a used truck loan with Chase,,and got denied ,,Ive never been denied for anything ever,,I live within my means and have a high credit score,,30 days later a letter comes in the mail telling me I was denied, but no reasons why only a number to call, the number I called cant tell me anything either, so they issue me a reason reply letter that comes 30 days later ,,,the reason for the loan denial of $16k,,is that the year of the F350 diesel truck is a 2005 model in 2010, the truck books at over $28k and I had my 20% down payment ,,I didnt want a newer more exspensive truck ,I wanted what I could safely reasonably afford,, Ford motor credit approved me for $50k a few days later ,but when I found a late model used truck on their Ford lot for $17k,, they said NO,,,that offer for credit was for new or dealer demo models and that they recommend a credit union,,well 2 hard inquires to my credit in 2 months ,,and run around ,,because I want to live within my means and not have a $700+ truck payment for 80 months or whatever ,,,IM FED UP WITH ALL OF IT!,,,no more credit cards , home equity lines of credit or auto loans ,,a home home mortgage because Im not a Trust Fund Baby ,,but believe me it wont be for long ,,, The irony to all of this is that my father was Chairman of a bank,,,his favorite saying was "You cant borrow yourself out of debt",,,he was right ,,,,living modestly and on what one can afford is becoming further an unattainable dream everyday as the inflation and cost of living continues to rise but the weekly incomes continue to dwindle ,,, We as People are on a sinking ship,,,but yet the band continues to play as we drown.

Lets see. Since WAMU was taken over by Chase.. Chase forced my account into escrow therefore creating my monthly payment to be quite higher. I was paying escrow taxes on my own prior to. I wanted out of this escrow due to the higher payment which mathematically made no sense. Customer Service told me to pay the negative escrow balance and I can be out. OK -- so I go to the local branch to make this hefty payment of $4,000 to get out of escrow. They misapply the funds and some HOW..JUST SOME HOW and only they can dance around.. say I was 3 months behind and that $4,000 went toward the past due. WHAT?!?!?!? They also shuffled some money into a "suspense account" that is just sitting there. WOW. I call customer service to try to get them to reallocate all this money so that the escrow is cancelled out -- I get no where and after 3 hours I finally get a supervisor on the phone which informs me that once you are in escrow there is no way out.. sorry, you were misinformed. WOW. OK -- so now that they suckered me out of $4,000 -- suddenly my monthly payment goes up even higher by a few hundred. I was completely out of rescources now.. I skipped a month of payment to try to catch up the next month.. I did this 2x... on the 3rd month I attempted to make the payments that it was there fault I was behind on in the first place for outright theft -- they would not accept my 3rd payment (which i was making before my 16 day grace period) -- I was already deemed foreclosure status. This is just unbelievable. Then I have to call the attorney since Chase will not speak to me.. I finally get a number for Chase's Lost Litigation Department.. the lady there told me.. just send in for a loan remod and dont pay the attorney fees of $2,600 to bring your account back to current. What? really? I called some attorneys and they all said your house can still get foreclosed on ..remod or no remod. It happens. Plus no guarantee of a remod. OK -- what choice do I have.. I borrow money from family to pay these attorney fees of $2,600 that were tacked on overnight. I pay it right away along with my back payments.. whatever the figure was.. I gave them. I did not trust that my foreclosure whould get dismissed.. after all.. they stole $4,000 and put $1,000 of homeowners insurance on TOP of the escrow balance because I was uncovered for a week... A WEEK cost me $1,000. Well.. if they didn't rob me, maybe I could afford to pay it on time that homeowners insurance. OK -- so the case actually gets dismissed within a week of payment. So literally a 2 week foreclosure on record. I feel like I can breathe again. But wait.. I get my new statement and my payment is now $1800. Originally I started wiht $900 and then since escrow was added it went to $1300 and then $1400 and then $1500 -- it constantly went UP instead of doing the opposite of going DOWN. Now they want $1800. WOW. My taxes a year are $4,000.. I was current on escrow since the foreclousre and now they wanted to collect $1,000 for escrow per month.. are they insane. I called up customer service. one rep tells me that I never paid a dime to taxes. WOW. I hang up on her.. and why is everyone there speak broken english and 20 -- as if they have a clue about mortgages. I call back and get a nicer guy with some intelligence, he tells me that he agrees that the escrow is inflated and he will do an escrow analysis and that Chase will accept $1500 as the actual payment until the analysis is complete. I say OK but I cant pay you til Friday.. I would prefer to have YOU imput my payment so that it gets processed right -- he says no problem, he will personally call me back on Friday. No call on Friday on the designated time. I call again.. I get some dingbat with broken english, probably 20 years old.. she says "oh yes, I see in the notes that we are to accept $1500 as the full payment for January or until the escrow analysis is complete". I say yes.. so I need you to process this payment. She says.. oh well you can just do it over the phone yourself. I explain.. no I cannot, it has to be process d by the rep bc in their system the phone asks for $1800 and she must override this. She says well i have to charge you $20. I say no .. I was told this is a special case and if you override it, its' free. So she goes ahead and says ok no charge for her to process it. I think everything is smooth for January. NOPE. I get the next statement.. they took my $1500 payment and threw it into a "suspense account' because they claim it is not enough to cover anything. O really. Then it asks for $3,900 for last months payment and February. WOW. I see on that statement that the dumb rep applied my $1500 with the phone service that I could of used but ignored me when I told her that was not the way to apply it. Idiots,. The original rep that was supposed to call me to apply called hours later when it was too late and of course no direct line for him. So. I went to the bank several times.. local brances. They all act on your side until they call up to try to help you.. they as well get the run around but have no choice but to buy what BS they are told to relate back. IT's such idiocracy. A sham. Corporate theives. Could they get someone at the local branches to work there that actually have a mortgage and know whats up!??!?!?!!? The guy told me "if i didnt pay my rent for 3 months I would be out but Chase lets you stay there for free for 18 months" -- uhm? OK???? Is he for real?? THEY ROBBED ME.. ID DID PAY.

I been trying to a home modification for 1 a year. sent in all the required paper work . Over the year been turned down 3 times because they could'n find paper work or it not sent in on time as they say .I have talked to 8 people in 7 different states. Some telling me that all paper work is just waiting for underwriting approval.Afer 13 months, their saying you do not qualify. So either go to another bank or refinance . that i cannot do because my house is now up side down.I JUST WANTED TO LOWER THE INTEREST RATE but apparently CHASE is being greedy they not interested in keeping customers.

My only advice to whoever reads this is, "PRAY, that your home loan is NEVER through Chase!!!" If you ever run into problems with this company, you will experience nothing but grief. Only about a third of the representatives you talk to on their customer service phone number really are helpful, either because they don't know, aren't willing to find out, or will not take accountability for what they tell you! Service, if you need it, beyond what the customer service phone number can give you is almost nonexistent and they will not forward you to a supervisor. My credit rating is not good, due to a bankruptcy two years ago, and I fell behind on my house payments (first time in 30 years) due to a reduction in work hours and income. I can now repay the back payments, but can't get anyone to fax a "reinstatement quote" (by the way, you'd better know the exact name of the "form letter" you want - it took talking to at least 3 representatives to determine what it was that I needed) that puts in writing exactly what I owe in terms of late fees, attorneys fees, etc. as well as back payments. I'm pretty sure (in fact, the bank who wrote me the check, told me) that what they will do when I send in the back payments and as much of the fees as I'm aware of right now, is keep me on the hook with charging me continuing fees (probably at least a full attorney's fee by the time I'm done - for attorneys they keep on retainer anyway), so that I can never fully be done with "back" fees. If this isn't dishonest, it should be! Who is the lady that President Obama just appointed as Consumer Protection "watchdog" - have I got a case for her! P.S. For your own peace of mind, DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS IN ANY FORM WITH JP MORGAN CHASE!!!

A P.S. to the note I just posted. I have the funds to repay what I'm behind on my mortgage, plus $700 attorneys fees and late fees, up until the last quoted amount (which I believe is good till 1/28/11 - but no representative will confirm what I was told in this regard). But I don't trust Chase until I receive a faxed "reinstatement quote" itemizing what I owe and to the effect that once that specified amount is paid, I can restart payments on the remainder of the home loan free of any previous amounts due. I can't get them to fax a simple itemized "reinstatement quote" though, so how much do you bet that they'll foreclose on my house before the reinstatement quote is faxed??? I have good reason not to trust this company, despite what a representative told me, that they, "Don't want my house." I get a different representative, with whom I reinvent the wheel, every time I call, and the story is always different. I'm tired of this company and of not being able to pay them off, even when I can. I had NO problems with any of my previous home loan companies who were bought out.

Hey, Everyone! After reading the other posts on this site: Are we all blind? This company is bordering on illegal practices on several fronts! Perhaps the media and the National Consumer Affairs Director should be looking at this company, not to mention whoever oversees discrimination cases (there are federal laws). Think about it: They received national bail-out money so they could buy out other smaller companies, who were good companies (Washington Mutual, etc.), who were smaller and probably didn't receive federal bail-out money! American citizens are being discriminated against (even if we aren't the minority - yet)! If this blog is actually posted and others get to see it - is there anyone who knows how to get a site up, where people can communicate about their experiences with Chase? I propose a grassroots effort to bring this company to the attention of the federal government. And if this message is intercepted and not posted, there's got to be another way, Chase! Maybe in some small way, I can help get this initiative up off the ground. I'm REALLY BUMMED OUT BY THIS COMPANY and I'm tired to doing nothing but worry about them and how I'm going to get any kind of customer service out of them!!! I'd love nothing better than to see this company brought down, even at the expense of my small house and whatever else!

I don't know where to begin....I'm extremely frustrated with Chase Bank right now. After noticing that my payroll deposit wasn't showing up in my account when I checked it online I decided to call customer service to speak with a representative. Prior to speaking with someone I checked the automated system and it said that my direct deposit had been returned. I thought, hmm that couldn't be right because only a portion of my paycheck was deposited into Chase and the other half into Wells Fargo (who my husband and I have had absolutely no problems with) and it posted as usual. When the representative got on the line and pulled up my account information I was informed, mind you for the first time that our account was placed on restriction since Dec. 31st and was in the process of being closed because a Quick Pay transaction had been compromised. Okay, several things are wrong here, first off I contacted customer service on January 17th and this was the first that myself or my husband had ever heard of such a thing, secondly they wouldn't reveal any additional information over the phone I was told that the account would be closed and there was nothing we could do about it and not only would the account be closed but that we would not be able to open another one and that I would have to go in to a branch for further information. Well on the next business day I did just that only to be told pretty much the same thing, in fact they couldn't tell me anything. They had to contact customer service and in turn they couldn't give me any further information regarding the exact reason why but referred me to contact customer service yet again. To make matters worse, the direct deposit from my paycheck was on hold as were the remaining funds in the account and I was told that I couldn't withdraw them but that they would be mailed to me once the account was officially closed. So needless to say I left there feeling beyond frustrated. So I contacted customer service yet again and was given more of the same so I asked to speak with a supervisor and it was at that point that I was told that someone had accessed our account and tried to make a Quick Pay transaction which is why the account was initially placed on restriction. Okay, I appreciate the added protection but at what point was the bank going to notify us of this, I shouldn't have had to call to find out. As I explained this to the supervisor, his response was, "Oh you should receive a letter in the mail regarding the closure of the account." I explained as I did to the representative at the branch that I had items that were scheduled to post to the account as well as my husband's payroll deposit that was due to post this week. They didn't seem to care or offer any assistance which is why I'm glad that the account will be closing and my husband and I plan to take our business elsewhere.

"BULLITIN" 12/26/2010 - Everybody watch out for JP MORGAN CHASE - unfortunatley my mortage is thru them - and in 2010 I have NOT been late on any mortage payments , but I see their attempting to try to access me some late fees,, now how am I late if my payments were on time ? I kinda like this actually, Chase your biggest mistake, is you sent the Fraudulent Document by way of US Postal mail with a time & date & Stamp on it, and you Corporate Attorneys know what that constitutes, don't you, hopefully your 2nd biggest mistake will be when you willingly accept my supposed late fees electronically,, Hey Dipshits up in the Corporate office at JP Morgan Chase - you remember the Movie "The Firm", with Tom Cruise, what it was about and how he nailed their Corrupt asses ?? Well Guess what - I'm going to do the same to you - Hook - Line & Sinker !! and the best part, theres nothing you can do about it, not 1 thing, except Run ~!!!!!!

I have a bill paying service for seniors. My cliant is elderly and her husband passed away. She is on (dialiasis)we have been working for over a year to get her a modification on her home. She has now broken hr hip.All this started in mid 2008.At this point Chase has a point of view I am sorry she is 12 months behind in her payments we may have to foreclose. The thing is we have done the paperwork for Chase and they are the ones delaying the process. Now the info.is staildated. What a poor way of doing business.

The one star is for telling YOUR banks that this year 2010 NO CHRISTMAS TREE OR DECOR WHAT A SLAP IN THE FACE TO AN AMERICAN TRADITION. i WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCOUNTS AND MY BROTHER IN LAWS ALSO. i WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS TO FOLLOW ALSO. YOU REALLY GET 0 STARS. YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR CEO
