Recently we called for a quote and you automatically changed our policy without my autorization. I had made my last payment with the last 2 mths no payments left. Since you put the quote request into a policy, I had to call to cancel it. Now you are saying that I owe you more money. How? Aug 13,2010 spoke to Margret Pulzone she was to cancel policy. I called again today Aug. 17,2010 spoke to Dani Crosie and my policy had not been cancelled. She says that as of today it is cancelled. I request to speak to her supervisor Robin Gernhart but was told she is not in. As of now now I have cancelled Business policy and am in process of cancelling our personal policy also. I do not owe your company money, nor will I pay it. Call me at 727-845-8025, Thank you, Kurt
After 30 years with GEICO, I have a dispute which so far tells me they do not care if you are with them 6 months or 30 years. Where has customer loyalty and customer service gone to ? GEICO has HIGH RATES and screw customer loyalty........... I found cheaper rates ALL around.
Poor is actually too good a mark. On July Geico was sent a $848.00 check for six months of premiums. It was scanned at their bank on the 15th and has their mark on the back. I have given to my attorney. On the 16th Geico called and said they hadn't received my check and had cancelled my policy. Based on our conversation a stop payment was put on the check and a new one was issued. They called again a few days later and the rep said he didnt understand why we had put a stop payment on the check and that they were "ticked". I explained a second check was on its way and was assured my policy could be reinstated. I called on the 26th after receiving a letter from K Stephens stating that I had dishonored my responsibility to make payments and she was referring me to collections. The rep stated that "NO money would be accepted now that I was cancelled and they would refuse the check and return it to me". I hung up and called again this time speaking to Dean Rung who assured me that my policy would be reinstated as soon as the $848.00 arrived and that he would call me when it did. Bootom line: The caveman should be in charge and everyone included in this mess should be unemployed. I was using my car thinking I was insured when I wasn't, GEICO will not admit their mistake and do whatever it takes to make this right, and now I am losing money because I can't use my vehicle for work. GEICO screwed up, denied and lied. If this is how you do business maybe you should close your doors. I want an apology and my policy exactly the way it was for the four previous years. I have filed complaints with the BBB and consumer Affairs who as you know does government investigations nationally.
I am very displeased with Geico, one of your clients hit me and I filed a claim, I filed a police report and a witness filed a report. Your keeps giving me the run around saying that he wont do anything for untill he contacts the girl who hit me. It has been 3 months since the accident and he still says that he cant get in touch with her. this is ridicoulous I had to fix my car myself, I think after three months something should be done, basicly he's telling me if he dont talk to her, I am just at a lost, this not fair, I thought your company was better than this. The agent that I am dealing with is Corry Knight out of yor Cleveland Ohio office, can you please help me get this settled Marcus Green Email address: snoop16146@yahoo.com
Ater I give my statement to the recorder, for the 2nd time, I want Geico to DO THEIR JOB. Or I'm going to have to come out on WWW (world wide web) about your company so anytime someone searches Geico while looking for insurance, they will not only find your website, they will find my blog about the treatment I have received, & how much money I've been charged to be subjected to a couple of morons working as adjustors for your company. Like how you wouldn't unlock my vehicle even though I paid $1700 for the policy I had. It's not gonna close your doors, but you will lose business for a fact if any of these prosepective clients read what I TRULY have to say. Think about this also. My Grandmother bought me this high performance vehicle, PAID IN FULL, for $34,000 all said and told last August. Wrote a check for it & had it shipped to Amarillo from Houston. (nice Granny, huh?) Now, if my Grandmother can afford to do this as well as buy my Tahoe and buy my Mom a HOUSE, I bet you dime to a donut hole, my beloved Granny can obtain the services of a lawyer for me also. What you're doing now, is making me incredibly angry and wasting MY TIME. Stalling. Why? Don't know really other than you don't want to pay for anything. You want to keep all my $2121. without fulfilling your obligations and promises to me. Specifially, hoping you don't have to pay a dime or help me in any way that may cost Geico money, and then you basically get over two grand off me for doing absolutely nothing but insulting and making me crazier than I already am.The last time my car was stolen, after the barb wire fence was removed, it drove fine. The losses were interior losses, except for some road rash. This situation? Very different. I will not let this go or pay one more cent toward that car. YOU WILL. Or there's gonna be a real problem. It's Wednesday. I've been without my vehicle since Saturday night and you have done NOTHING. NOTHING. That's my $2121, hard at work? Right! PS Apparently Geico does not have a current listing of makes and models of vehicles available today. You have my Cadillac listed as a CTS. IT IS NOT A CTS. It is a CTS V. The differences between the two Cadillacs is like the difference between your Good Cops & Bad Cops. HUGE. Example: 2006 CTS: a 2.8L V-6 VVT. (210 HP at 6500 rpm and 194 lb-ft of torque at 3200 rpm) Kelly Blue book: $17,000 (This is what you show as the car your insuring for me for 2 grand and change) 2006 CTS V: a 6.0L V-8 LS2 engine. (400 HP nd 395 lb - ft of torque. Acceleration figures include 0-60 in 4.6 seconds. Quarter mile achieved in 13.1 seconds at 109 mph. An LS2 engine is a Corvette engine. Kelly Blue book: $28,000. (THIS IS MY CAR AND THE DIFFERENCE IS CLEAR.) Might explain to Geico why it keeps being stolen or taken without permission. The first time last Christmas? I knew the thief vaguely. Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. This theft? I'd never laid eyes on the male that stole it. And had only met the female ONCE. Had no idea she had anyone with her when she showed up. The CTS V (what I have) is a high performance luxury vehicle, competitive with BMW M series, Mercedes Benz AMG & Audi S Series. Power delivered through six speed manual Tremec T56. Heavy duty, increased diameter, 70mm prop shaft is used for the higher torque requirements. Limited slip rear axle is fitted with a 3.73:1 final drive ratio to optimize acceleration. It has traction control and competitive racing mode.... The options and differences are many. The cost of a cts and a cts v is very different. Obviously. Maybe you should look into this. You may be able to charge people more money to insure this ROCKET. The 2010 CTS V is even faster. 525 HP I believe. Lists for 60 grand brand new. Thank you, Leslie Anne Cook-Sustaita
What customer service. Disrespectful adjusters/will not take ownership of a problem/ inmates are running the asylum/can't find a live person who is responsible to anyone/ no one knows what to do except transfer your call on the computer because that is all they do all day/ # 3 will be 103 soon with this service/ claim #0367857250101011 if anyone is in the least bit interested in doing what you get paid to do!/Will corporate respond, this should be interesting.
In April of this year I purchased a 2002 Harley Davidson and moved my motorcycle policy from Progressive to Geico. At 5:00 PM on Saturday, 5 June I had a mechanical problem and called Roadside Assistance for a tow in. I was informed that the service would only take my motorcycle to the nearest HD dealership, approximately 7 miles. The tow truck did not get to me until 6:00 PM and unloaded my motorcycle in the parking lot of a closed dealership, leaving me stranded 20 miles from home in 95 degree Texas heat. My options at that point were to find a way to transport the bike myself or leave it in the parking lot unguarded until Monday morning. My son had to remove the wheelchair lift from my truck, borrow a trailer, and come pick me up. After the bike was home and the trailer returned, we had to reinstall the lift. On the afternoon of Wednesday, 9 June I called Customer Service and spoke to a supervisor named Mary Ann(?). She agreed that this was poor service and said she would talk to her manager the following day and call me back. On Tuesday, 15 June I called Customer Service and asked to speak to a manager. I was put on hold and then told the manager's office was not answering. The Customer Service Rep I was talking to took my name, and number and said he would walk the message to the manager's office. To date I have had no contact from either a supervisor or manager. A second problem surfaced tonight concerning my auto policy. I went into Geico.com to double check my payment information for July and found the payment was $43.00 higher than the normal. Customer Service advised me that my 33 year old son had been added to my policy. He is staying with us temporarily and was involved in a not at fault accident while driving his mother's Jeep Cherokee. (He was rear-ended by an Allstate insured.) According to Customer Service the underwriter automaticaly added him because his address was shown on the accident report as the same as mine. While I can understand the reason for the change, I do have a problem with the fact that he was added without asking, or even notifying, me. It is not unusual for the Geico statment to arrive after the due date of the payment and, had I not checked on line, my account could have been hit with an almost 50% higher deduction than I expected. At this point I am completely unsatisfied by your concept of Customer Service on both the auto and motorcycle ofices. I had been considering moving my home owner's policy to Geico (I have had the same policy for 20 years). Instead, I am now thinking of moving my auto and motorcycle insurance to other companies. I can be contacted at 512 787 3792 if you want to keep my business.
I got hit in the back bumper about 3 weeks ago. Geico called and I took to their shop my vehicle. I went to 2 other shops and they both told me I must have a new bumper. Geico refuses to do this. I did not ask to be hit but they want to not fix my car correctly. What a joke of a company they are. Would be nice if someone called me at 865-379-2136.
I have a Staff Sergeant that has been a Geico customer for several years. In 2003, he sold a vehicle and purchased a new vehicle. Both were insured through your company. In the process of insuring the new vehicle, the coverage on the vehicle that was sold did not get suspended/dropped and he accrued a $12.71 charge. At this point please note that he continued to be a Geico customer to date, and over the past couple of years he has had a fender bender and traffic ticket, and was never notified of this $12.71 discrepancy. Due to the $12.71 discrepancy, Geico notified the state of Virginia in 2003 that the insurance on his (now former) vehicle was suspended. Yesterday he was stopped for a inoperative tail light. His current vehicle (insured through Geico) was towed, impounded, and his license was suspended. In order to drive, he will have to pay to reinstate his license, and will have to pay both towing and impound fees. If you can help make this right, please contact me (Executive Officer) at (703)784-3551. Thank you for your support in this matter, s/f.
If I have to rate Geico Customer Service then I would give Negative 10. They need to hire new Auto Damage Adjuster because one of geico's client rear ended my car. Now Geico expects me to pay some of it while we never asked to be rear ended. I have Geico as my own insurance and I thought they were a good insurance company but not really. I see how they handle there business badly. I'm about to tell all my friend to switch and myself to another insurance company that has better customer service. Also, my car has been in the shop for almost 4 weeks and its a business car. So I basically losing over $12,000 of profit but Geico don't care because they're trying not to pay for anything. If someone from corporate could actually help me out to change my mind then please contact me at 646-285-5566.
Minus 5 Stars. A GEICO policyholder broke SC law and crossed a double yellow line on a 2-lane road and plowed into our Toyota knocking the front off. Over $5K in damages plus medical bills plus diminished value of vehicle not to mention pain and suffering. GEICO customer 100% at fault according to South Caroling Highway Patrol reports yet GEICO refuses to pay us for damages. This has been ongoing battle since February...it is now June 1. I wish to speak with CEO or someone of authority to address the very worst service I have ever received from any major company I've ever dealt with. Kenyatta Trice and Britt Smith, both GEICO representatives in the Macon, GA and Columbia, SC areas are to blame for this. Bobby James 803-208-8010 803-646-3488 803-593-6150 803-514-0729
Hello my name is Nanandele Burley, I am contacting you to ask why we have occurances on our geico acct. tht would not allow us to be considered for another insurance policy, we have been longtime cust for over 5 years with geico, and now tht we had some issues tht were beyond our control, we were still penalized? We req a call back and to my knowledge have not received 1 yet from corporate. Also we would like to know why the roadside assistance was introduced as free when indeed we were being charged.? Lying to policy holders, is just ridiculous. I would like for someone to get back with us at 678-663-2008 to futher discuss our acct. in detail... Sincerely, Marvin Burley
Worse than poor. I need a call from CEO asap with respect to a claim that has been ongoing for over 2-months now. Tommie Corley 972-355-1323
Dear Sir: My car was scratched and singed while a geico policy holder was trying to park behind my vehicle. I was told by yr claims dept that my claim was rejected as there was a witness. I asked them to send one of their claims agent to inspect my vehicle but they refused. I have an infant who is on his last stages of his kidneys. I have no time to speak for hours to yr clams department as I have done before. If yr customers don't know how to park then it's yr responsibility to pay for damages. No one pays hard earned money for some one to damage a property and not pay. If one of yr company cars were even slightly touched you people would go after the accused with wrath. So what's up with dealing with my claim. Pls ask someone responsible to call me at (571) 572- 3330. I am looking to solve this problem and get back to my personal hurdles in life. Thank you.
