Terrible cutomer service

One star is too much! Online live chat AND call in to customer service was awful. They simply do not care about their customers at all. Awful, Awful, Awful!

UNPROFESSIONAL & DISGUSTING

I have been to two separate locations in Syracuse, both of them were disgusting on the inside. The employees just wanted you to buy as much as you could afford and didn't care what it was. Had no clue about the products.

I have bought some stuff from these guys in multiple locations and they act like they don't care about you they just want to make you buy this so you will go away and they make money. so fix that please!!!

Unproffessional

Went to a store in union lake mi. Saw an employee outside on her phone and smoking. I am sorry but to work for a health store and smoke is one thing but to smoke by the front door is just unproffessional!!! Will never go back to that store!!!

I've been buying for GNC for years now and I've never met a GNC employee as helpful as Omid. I'm a truck driver so I've been to a lot of different GNC's. This guy is definitely manager material. used gnc sam-e 400 for years loved it, now you changed it, I am miserable with hives and itching bring back the old sam-e 4oo iam about ready to stop buying from gnc because they cant tell why the changed the formula.

Not allowed to shop!

I went to my local GNC, located at 2015 Birch Rd, Chula Vista, CA 91915 less than one hour ago. It is now 4:15 pm, July 29, 2013. I opened the door and was told by a woman sitting outside using her phone and smoking that we weren't allowed inside. I never went inside. She said she was on her break and the only employee and we weren't allowed inside. When I questioned her about it, she got angry. She threatened to call security. I looked at her and told her that I would not stand there and wait for her to finish her smoke. I told her she works for a health food store and she smokes? I told her I would be contacting corporate about her. Of course I'm sure corporate would tell her she followed orders. Why would GNC, or any business allow employees to smoke in a store front?

Product Unavailable

I have purchased Natural Woman Progesterone Cream for several years at our local GNC store. When I went to get it last week, I was told that they no longer carried it. I was very disappointed as I have tried the GNC brand a couple of times and it did not work for me. I am happy that I can order this product from the company but disappointed that GNC no longer carries it. Why?

Bad company representation

I went to the GNC in Red Bluff, CA, and was completely turned off by the manager! She was overweight, sloppily dressed, didn't know ANYTHING about fitness, supplements, healthy lifestyle or any of the products in the store...and her manner was completely unprofessional!!! I won't be going back.

I recently went to gnc and was conned into believing the store manager had any knowledge at all. She sold me a product and gave me the complete wrong dosage information. Then she told me it could be refrigerated, which ruined it. I think all the employees should be captured and taken back to the zoo. Unless they only hire the mentally disabled, if so I'm terribly sorry.

THEY SOLD ME EXPIRED MERCHANDISE

I bought some vitamins there only to find out three weeks after I've been taking them that the expired 6 months ago!!!! I will never shop with GNC again and will tell everyone I know not to shop there.

Went to GNC sign said closed at 8 ; however I got there at 6 and the door was locked. Really bad customer service!!!!! Richmond VA

Refund round around

I check the GNC website almost everyday for the deal of the day sales. Finally I saw a great deal. Print out the coupon and went to the store to purchase my product. The person working there said that they didn't carry that product but he would be able to order it and send it to my house with no shipping fee. I thought this was a awesome deal. Days pass by and still nothing had arrived. I called GNC customer service and a female answered told me that the product I wanted was out of stock. She also said I was getting a refund. I assume since I payed with my credit card I would get it back into my card. Again days pass by and still no money. I called again the customer number and a guy told me that whoever answered the first time didn't verify my address so they could send me a the check. He verified my address and said I would get it in 7 to 10 days. Two weeks pass by and no check! I called customer service and they said that they didn't see any check being send out to me and that he was going to redo it. I'm so frustrated how GNC has dealt with this issue. They have lost a customer for life.

document fallen display

I visited a store in Peoria Az. While paying at the register the protein bar display fell on the top of my wife's foot. Immediately her foot swelled and signs of bruising were appearing. The employee stated that the display was loose and did not say much of anything while my wife was in pain for several moments. The employee was very quite and at one point she said I don't have ice but I have water... I tried calling the 1 888 number and could not get through to speak to anyone on this matter. I did get diconnected a few times. All I wanted to do was make management aware of this in case my wife's foot gets worst. It is very frustrating trying to actually speak to someone and you can't get thru. Someone needs to know thus my only recourse at this time is to write a review...Hope this does not get deleted

GNC ethics

Manager of So Portland Maine store would rather keep his sales of Gold Card numbers up than listen to a customers complaint. He did NOT explain to me what a gold card was or that I was being charged for one. When I returned product because the directions of use were different than what he'd explained and product was not what I needed plus the taste wasn't for me I was still not told what the benefits of a gold card are. This is sneaky, slimy sales tricks and what ever happened to the customer is always right? He got all defensive and argumentative making me feel like I was wrong not understanding what he didn't explain to me in the first place. It's only $15 that I've lost on a card I will never use. I will never go in GNC again. Good job Josh.
