Fred Meyer's, Puyallup Gas Station, went the other day to fill up vehicle. Put my debit/credit card into the pump and was waiting for it to input my oin number. It came up asking if I wanted the .10 discount. I cancelled that transaction and the machine came up, no tranaction. Tried it again, and I had to cancel again. Went to window and the clerk squared me away for the gas, using me debit and pin number. I immediate went home and checked my online banking. The two tranactions that were cancelled were $ 125.00 for a total of $ 250.00 that was charged to me. Go another pump at the same gas station, insert your card and it comes up asking your debit pin number. Fred Meyer blames the bank, blames the credit card company, but it's the pump software that does it. At that time I had a huge amount of money in that account in excess of $ 2000.00. Quit lying to me Fred Meyers.
If you would fire the people in the Albany store, chicken-deli dept. your store would get a much better rating. The big lady, probably the manager of the cooked chicken dept behind the counter, told me that if there was any chicken left it would be marked down for 1/2 price. I told her the kiosk was full (about 15 or 20 chickens) and her attitude to me was like don't bother me and I don't care what you want, I'M busy and don't like old people in wheel chairs or carts asking about cheap items. The time was 7:12 pm and we (my friend Jo visiting from Australia) decided to eat chicken for dinner plus I needed more groceries so decided to wait. At 8;02, there was no marked down chicken, so the big lady then said that she didn't have time for me to mark it down, so I asked her to call the manager becase her attitude made me angry after waiting so long. The manager came and said they didn't have to mark the chicken down and I blew up. What is the matter with these people. Wasting my time with non-customer related skills for stupid marked-down chicken. I handed the manager named Tracy or Troy (I don't know if that person is a boy or girl) my Fred Meyer card and left my full cart right there and headed out the door. The manager asked me to leave and I said I was leaving never to return. A formal complain will be followed up. You really let these people represent you? Sorry for that. One would think with the economy the way it is, good help would be easy to find.
I purchased a men's ring at the Oak Grove Fred Meyer store. It was a graduation gift for my son. I found that he wouldn't want a ring so I returned it the following day. The clerk told me I would get a corporate check in 2 weeks. The price of the ring was $149.00. If the price was $1-2,000, I could understand why I wouldn't get a refund right away. That money was set aside for his gift and now there is none. What does the corporate office have to gain by withholding my money? This is extremely poor customer service and I will never shop there again. I've received jewelry from Fred Meyer in the past and found that diamond and gemstone jewelry is of very poor quality anyway.
we were in your store in port orchard, wa about 6:30 pm on june 1, 2012 in the deli buying roasted chicken and saw one package under the heat lamp was torn open people in the deli, checkout line and another in produce were all told about it and 30 minutes later when we left the store we checked and it was still open and under the heat lamp still for sale how safe is the cooked food you sell not very. you should take the open chicken home and feed your families because you evidently dont care about the quality of the food you sell to your customers.shame on you
On 4 27 09 my wife walked into the Bonney Lake wa Fred Meyer and was attacked and hurt by your employees,,she suffered injuries,,your store hid the video tapes and lied to the cops,,you left me with huge medical bills and a wife that is still injured,,Beware shoppers if u have a problem in the store the employees will lie to the cops and they will hide the video tapes..I WILL NEVER SHOP AT FRED MEYER's AGAIN!!!!!!!
We love our Fred Meyer's Store on Bakerview Road,in Bellingham, WA. Last evening, we when we went through the check out, we bought soda pop, using our EBT card. We were charged $.17 tax. I thought the Voters of the State of Washington repealed the tax on soda pop, and I thought people purchasing taxable items with their EBT cards are exempt from taxable food items. If this is true, why did we get taxed on the soda pop, and when we used our EBT Card?
I have had numerous problems with my Fred Meyer rewards card. I haven't been able to use my fuel rewards and lost them on 4-21-12 due to the end of cycle. I was unable to use my prescription transfer credit on my rewards card due to cashier ignorance. This is the second time this has happened. Doesn't anybody at Fred Meyers know how the rewards program works? This is ridiculous for a store that has been in business for so long. I am growing discouraged and have decided to do my shopping elsewhere. YOU LOSE FREDDIES
Dear Sir or Madame, Weekly I peruse the FM ad on-line and make my shopping list and print it from my computer. Today when I took my list to the store, I was having a difficult time finding some of the advertised items, so I showed my list to approximately 4 different clerks. They told me they had never seen a FM computer generated shopping list before! In order to verify that certain items that I wanted were indeed 'on sale' I had to go to the service desk, get a newspaper ad and show them in order to get the sale price. I am surprised and disappointed that whilst you have a wonderful and helpful website, your clerks are terribly uninformed about it and its use. I suggest you strongly consider a training program to bring them all up to speed on technology. Thank you for listening to me.
I am a loyer customer of fred Myers. I do the majority of my food purchases there. as I exited the store, I was approached by a representative of the Spokesmen review with an offer, of 20 weeks of the spokesmen review paper for $20.00. Being new to the area, I signed up for the offer. I received the paper but was not impressed with the level of reporting. I let my subsection lapsed. and was surprised to get a bill for $17.00 more and a threat to turn me into collections. I was shocked. I believed I was signing up for a trial offer. How can a company trick its subscribers in to Paying More. I am dismayed that a company like Fred Myers lets a disreputable company like the Spokane review on to its property to Pray on its customers.

How could a new Manager from Anchorage fired a deli head for something a corporate policy, they said voilate the company! Then why did they allowed her to do the job for so many years with out a proper training and then a new grocery manager came and just like that.... fired Noli and not even given a chance to transfer to another department. That is unfair and in human policy! It's a discrimination of race that has been a practice for manny years at FM. How could Don, the director agreed just like that. Noli was suspended for 2 weeks and then fired with no question. Noli should be given fair and proper legal rights just like the rest of the employees who can transfer to other departments. Due to the renovation of the store or any reason Fred Meyer cut hours and fire employees.....they should not hire new employees and employees should not pay of any companies looses. I think that is absurd!

I would like to inform you that the fred meyers on airport way in fairbanks alaska is in need of some high quaility employees. Reason I state this is I went to send money thru western union. and yes this is the store that is still in transition of remoldling. I was helped by a lady named erika and she had the phone glued to her head and helping me and another person. and i was placing a wire and she sent it to another location other then the one that i specified and gee do you think the manager don was even going to pull the paperwork and assist me with my issue. NO. he just had the pat answer that i needed to drive 4 hours one way to come into the nearest western union to fix something that his employee did. your fred meyers is already not liked by many since the remoldling has not ended after 2 yrs and when you go into the store nothing is ever where it was. no one can help you cause they are not told where it was moved to. you should be ashamed of your self to treat someone with such RUDE AND NON CUSTOMER FRIENDLY EMPLOYEES and turn around and make it my fault. i can't help it if erika can't unglue her self from the phone or stop being super women. I have no control of it but to have the awdasitiy to me to go ahead and drive four hours one way to come back and fix her mistake. you CAN NOT BE SERIOUS. REGARDING: Check cashing policy; attitude of supervisors; I understand that you lose money on bad checks. BUT! What about those of us who don't write bad checks?? I was confronted by a supervisor as I was checking out, who approached me, out of the blue, and demanded, "HOW ARE YOU GOING TO PAY?". I was stunned!! I answered, smiling, "With my bank card". Upon hearing this, the supervisor barked, "WELL WE HAVE A NEW CHECK CASHING POLICY"... and described it to me, as if I were a criminal, who had been bouncing checks all over town. I was not rubber-checking, and deeply resented her attitude and demeanor. It was inappropriate, and unprofessional. I was not even paying with a check!!!!!!!! What the DEVIL is going on with this company???? And...forcing a customer to give out their SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER in front of potential identity thieves, is just plain irresponsible. Will it be a mandatory, personal , MICRO-CHIP SCAN you'll be demanding next????? In the name of protecting peoples identities??????? Sounds like a set-up for it to me. VERY, VERY, BAD!! Certigy (who owns this company ??) ...or whoever is in charge...and YOU, FRED MEYERS, should change your direction, and get back to SERVING the people!!!!!!!!!!! YES! REMEMBER US??? Fred Meyer used to be a nice friendly store. Now big corp attitudes are ruining the chain. Their employees are treated like numbers and it shows in the general atmosphere of the stores. The Pharmacy is slow and not customer Friendly. Very sad for Fred Meyer.

went to the tenny road pharmcy to get my refills and the all the employees in the pharmacy where very rude and the pharmist was the worst i should of had about ten and they only refilled two.out of all my maitance meds
Web site SUCKS!!!! You really don't know how much money you are losing out on by having such a poor website. I can never find anything except the weekly ad. You say you are one stop shop well maybe its about time your web site matched. I don't like to waste my time shopping in and out of stores for the product I need. I go online and find it first, then find the best product for the money. Then go pick it up. Because your web site is so poorly done and is no help in finding any thing at all. I don't shop at your store most the time because I don't have the time to guess if you have what I am looking for. I would be nice if you actually had a helpful site. I know there has to be lots of other people who feel like I do. And those are all customers you are missing out on. Who knows maybe you don't care. Your website sure says you don't.
Hello I was with my son shopping at the Warrenton Fredmeyer earlier today and purchased an xbox live 4000 Microsoft point card for $49.99. When I went to redeem my card it said it was not valid. So we went back and they said that wasent the right card but they refused to refund it or activate it. I really like buying videogames from there but until this is resolved; I will not let my son buy from there anymore. When he was refused to have it activated he cried. He's 14 years old.
