Very poor i was with the company for 3 years and went shopping for better rates and it didnt take me long to find out how outragiously priced they are. very poor customer service. every time spoke to them they always made me feel like they had something better to do im glad i changed plus i dont get all the mail everyday

My agent has twice now has done me wrong. He is my neighbor 2 doors down. He canceled my homeowners insurance citing that I had multiple families living in the home. The family has children who drive. He made prejucial remarks towards "renters" and yelled over the phone that they have too many cars and "what about the one in the back yard." I yelled so loud I became upset and crying. I plan to report him to the better business bureau.

I have a comurcial policy with Farmers and I am very disappointed. I placed my first claim and i am not satisfied how they are handling my situation. I have a great agent however i can not say the same about the claim representative that is handling my claim. I have been waiting for one of my buisness trucks to be fixed. It has been three weeks now and i keep hearing one story after another on why they can not cut me a check for the amount the damages were. Steve Guy ( special field claims representative ) Promised me one amount when i first submitted my claim, a week later called and said he could not approve that amount because he descovered the damages could be replaced at a lower amount. I agreed do to the fact I could not waiting around for them to decided because i need my vehicle fixed for my buisness. Every day that goes by I am lossing buisness waiting for them to fix my truck. Now three weeks later I receive another call saying they have not send me a check, and now there saying there sending even a lower amount. I am now seeking for a new Insurance company I can relay on.

Very poor customer service. Claim rep and his supervior never called me back. I called and left various messages for them. They are LAME. After 4 weeks I called my lawyer then they responded. OMFG WTF??? They are LAME. PERIOD

I just found out the farmers agents i have used for 25+ years has been lying to me for most of that yes i was stupit to trust him but now it has costed me 17 years of life ins payment and now my husband is 64 and we can not affford a new policy so we are out of luck and no ins do not use D. I have been with Farmers Insurance for a long time. My agent is Michael Campbell In Dallas, Texas. I no longer need want your Insurance. I have found better rates elswere. I will not be paying Michael Campbell or Farmers Insurance any more money. Mr Campbell Is trying to make me keep paying for something I no longer want. Thank you Darrell Blackbear.

I don't even know where to start our local Farmers office in town wanted our business we finally gave it to him. In less than 3 months we received a letter of cancaellation stating we did not conform. Reason given wood and vegetation on property. Yes we have a pallet of vintage timbers for a yard project and we have redwood decking we just purchased to put a deck on our side yard. We have been renovating our house in and out. New irregation and landscaping. Our agent saw our property before he insured us then out of the blue we get this letter of cancellation. Not even a courtesy call from the agent or a return call when we called him regading receipt of letter. Are you people crazy? We live on 1 1/2 acres which is normal in our area.. Recently had a fireman over who said our property was in good shape no problem what so ever. Our neighbors tell us we have the cleaniest renovation site they have ever seen. This is without one of the rudest Companies I have encountered to date. Never use this Company for home insurance.

I purchased a policy for my son Kodie seefeldt. In your Blue Springs office I believe Kevin I believe I called to cancell policy on tues after labor day Purchased on sept. 2nd. I was told by kevin him self to send him Email of cancellation. I would then get refund. By chance I called an then found out my son who the policy was for also had to write email. My original Date of cancell was sept 5th 2011 It was Keven who was underminding an miss leading. which makes me very reluctant to ever use your company when I do purchase a car. So, I cancelled my workmans compensation policy with Farmers Insuance February 10, 2011. August 29th, 2011 I received a bill for $840.46 and at the top of the billing invoice it states Policy Premium Due. I called the 800 number on the bill and the lady I spoke to could not explain what the bill was for. The lady informed me she would have to get with the accounting department and she would get back to me. Well, a couple of days passed and the lady got back to me but still could not explain the bill to my understanding. I sent our old Farmers agent an email 8/31/2011 and have yet to get a reply. I have pasted the contents of the email below. Farmes Insurance 1548 E. First Street Newberg, Oregon 97132 503-538-8898 Attn: Michael McBride Re: Account # CA55713 Good Morning Mike, Can you explain in detail why we have received a bill for the amount of $840.46 for our workman’s compensation insurance? The bill was received in our office August 29th, 2011. I called the number on the bill 877-411-4249 and spoke to Barb Kline. Barb could not explain the bill and informed me she would have to get with the accounting department for clarification and she assured me she will be getting back to me Tuesday, August 30, 2011 with an explanation. I was not contacted by Barb Kline Tuesday, but she did call me Wednesday. Barb really did not have a good explanation in fact she was not be able to explain the bill at all. I informed Barb that I DO NOT understand the reason for the bill and until I do understand the reason and if the bill is justified then and only then will it be paid. So, I am requesting from you or someone in your office to please contact us in writing with a good explanation for the bill since we DO NOT have a Workman’s Compensation policy with you at this time and have not had the policy since February 10, 2011. Also, since this bill in being disputed and a reasonable explanation for the bill has not be given, please advise your company that this bill will more than likely not be paid by it’s due date which is 09-06-11. So, the question still remains, what is the $840.46 bill for. I cancelled this policy in February 2011. Why have I received a bill stating “Notice of Premium Due” August 30th, 2011 some 6 months later after the cancellation, which is also noted on the bill. Beware of farmers auto insurance.Adjusters are unfriendly,uncooperative and low ball claims in their favor.I would really look closely at other companies first.Had Farmers for years and paid thousands of dollars in premiums and had no problems until I filed a claim on an auto total.I would have expected this with the cut rate insurance providers.

I had life insurance policies on my two daughters through Farmers New World Life. Now only one of my daughters has a policy after paying premiums 15 years. I electronically made payment before the due date on the now lapsed policy. Upon receiving a lapse notice, I faxed a copy of my check with the lapsed policy number showing on it. Guess what, they sent me a letter stating I had made payment on my other daughter's policy. It wasn't due and doesn't have the same policy number. Just another one of Farmers poor service issues. Even with the proof staring them in the face (cashed check), they still would not do what is right. Very soon, they are going to lose another life policy. If won't make a difference to them I am sure, but I will be much happier not ever having to deal with them.

I think it's pretty bad that you have a felon working for your company. In the Coos Bay/ North Bend oregon office, one of the ladies was just charged for stealing large sums of cash from the bank she was working at. She did her time in jail and is now working for your company. She's not allowed to be handling any amount of money, but works for an insurance company??? I believe you need to start checking your employee's backgrounds a little closer.....

let me just say from working in the insurance industry some of you need to read your policies so you are educated on what you are covered for after all it is what YOU are paying for each month

Why are all of Farmers commercials racist. The minority guy is always the one asking the stupid questions or giving the stupid task.

WE HAD A BREAK IN IN OUR STOREAGE UNIT. CALLED AGENT AND MADE MANY TRIPS TO HIS OFFICE WITH PAPER WORK IN HAND TO FAX OFF TO CORP. OFFICE. IT TOOK 1 YEAR TO GET ANYTHIG FROM THEM AND TO TOP IT OFF THEY CHEATED ME OUT ABOUT 7 THOUSAND DOLLARS. WE HAD TO GO OUT AND REPLACE THIS CAMPING STUFF RIGHT AWAY. SINCE ALL THIS HAS HAPPENED MANY PEOPLE HAS LEFT THIS AGENT FOR NOT HAVING A BACK BONE TO STAND UP FOR HIS INSURED CLIENTS. IF YOU HAVE INS. WITH FARMERS I'M TELLING YOU TO LEAVE THEM ASAP OR YOUR GOING GET TAKEN BIG TIME. DOUG

I would strongly advise against using Farmers Insurance. They are a bunch of thieves. I had 2 auto policies with them and every month when they would deduct the money from my checking account they would take more that what they were suppose to. I would call them and ask them about it and they would say "oh sorry we forgot about the multi-car and multi-policy discount we will credit your account for next month." Well the next month would come and the same thing would happen so I finally told them not to renew my policy and to stop debiting my account. They did not debit the following month but 2 months later they take out double of what it would have been and automaticly renewed my policy. This caused all kinds of havoc with my checking account. I called them to complain and they said they would review it and get back to me on it. Not a very reputable company in my opinion and I would not recommend to anyone.

It was not my fault his wife was pregnant and we continued it for years and years after she had her children! Thomas is a player - he has had mistresses in the past, with me and has had more since then! He has alot of money and power to get you to the top of Farmers Insurance (pif) = money. I took the shot for the money! What is the diffrence between a man or a women player? I do not get it? We both got what we wanted = me money = Thomas got power and sex. Thomas's wife Ann should thank me for havng anal sex with Thomas as it saved there marriage and they are still together at this time becasue of it! Women can be players also for money and sex and I see nothing wrong with that!

Farmers Insurance is the absolute worst!!! I used to have State Farm, and Farm bUreau, and they were much much better. I never had to deal with this scandalous B.S.. There is so much damage to my house from a recent blizzard, and they gave me a check for 4oo and said "sorry thats not covered". Apparently they dont cover much!!! Now we have a lawyer, and they can deal with this retarded and greedy company!!!! We will definetly spreading the word, and we will find a new insurance company when this is all over with.
