I'm tired of the UNPROFESSIONAL lack of service from store "manager" MARISOL at (store#06092) in Chicago. Whenever asked a question she replies in sharp cold answers and never wants to assist the customers. The final straw was on 5/30/12 when I was questioning a price that was clearly over the item. The cashier look at the item, and saw the price over the item. The register was ringing up another price. The cashier called the manager over who refused to go look at it talked loudly across the store to me that she was the manager and the price is what the register rang up. As long as this women is a so called manager at this store I will never shop there again!

My experience is a direct complaint on the Distric Manager, Deanna for the Coal Grove Ohio store. On May 26th, 2012, my sister and I had stopped in the Coal Grove store to cash in on the pepsi coupon and the 5 off 25 coupon. When we entered the store, the ONLY employee, Crystal, greeted us in a very friendly manner. This is the Saturday before Memorial Day. The store was packed!! I mean Jam Packed!!! When we finished our shopping, we noticed that Crystal was no longer at the register, now keep in mind, SHE IS THE ONLY EMPLOYEE THERE!! So I heard someone in the line say she is outside on the ground...I go outside to where she is and she is having a full blown asthma attack, she cannot breathe and is holding her chest and gasping for air!! I have someone calling 911. Did I mention that SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE OPERATING THE STORE????? The store is filled with customers....and they keep pouring in. People have started to gather and Crystal (the only employee in the store) has passed out on me twice now!! The EMS is on their way. In a raspy voice she tells me to call Deanna.....well, after 2 calls to this Deanna woman, with no answer, I left her a nasty voicemail. So I get ahold of someone named Courtney and she says she will take care of it. My sister runs every customer out of the store, ensures that the back doors are locked and there are no stragglers in the store, we locked it up, gave the keys and purse to Crystal as she was being hauled off in an ambulance. Now I am going to call corporate and report this. I feel that no store should ever be left with one person to run it!! How much money do you gross from that store on a daily basis? I am ticked off and am contacting corporate!!!

I work for store 8001 in Baltimore Maryland and this store is a big joke. First of all the manager has absolutely no idea how to even run a shift and I thought they were required to work at least 52 hourd a week. Wow he is hardly ever in the store. I am working 54 hours a week and I'm

I work at store 8001 in Baltimore. This store is a complete joke. The Manager Charlie Brown has absolutely no idea how to run his store. We as employees are told that either we do as told or we find a new job. At any time we are hit with racial slurs or sexual remarks. To top it off the store manager never gets on a register nor does he do returns/exchanges. It's so bad that he doesn't even know the code to the safe. Everyone in the store is African American except the store manager...Charlie Brown who is Caucasian. This place Is run like a plantation during slavery days. I know none of this is legal because I have spoken to,an attorney so that I can begin a law suit. I don't want yo lose my job so I try to remain professional and out it with it. I just can't take it anymore can someone at least investigate. It's needed!!!!!

i have shopped at dollar general for last 20 years, i am in management at my job as well, i ocassionally go into this doallar general on thonatassa rd in plant city florida. to purchase things for my place of employement, and the staff has always been very nice to me and my mom, the general manager chris is always pleasant to us. but lately there is two employees in this location that have given me issues one is the assistant manager the man doesnt believe guest are first i stood there for 10 minutes while he was with a vendor while i heard the vendor say to the manager ill wait u have customers he replied she can wait. number 1 this is not the way to do business, customers pay your bills and keep u in business. then u have a lady employees older woman that is very rude . i believe her name is vicky, ive been in there in line when she has questioned e who family members were to me and how i knew them, i would appreciate that these employees realize they have a job in customer service and customers come first, customer come to your company to uy things they need for convience and prices, not to b treated like crap

Less than 30 minutes ago I went into family dollar #03957 151 Stateline Rd.Southaven Miss.Paid for my items as usual and return to my car.I open some candy I purchased and it tasted strange.I asked my mom to run in, gave mom my reciept for an exchange if possible.She came back to the car in tears.A manager with no name tag that has just came in to work jumped in the conversation of my mom explaining about how the candy tasted funny.She was Extremely rude and talked to my mom like she was trash.Mind you we have been shopping at this store for years and never in life seen this manager.Instead of her saying im sorry we can't exchange the candy she got CRAZY and told my mom to get out HER store and she is BANNED! She even called the police and they blocked us in on the lot like common criminals.After talking to the manager the officers laughed and even said she was nuts and to contact corporate.I have shopped at Family Dollar my whole life and spend a great deal of cash because i love this store at various locations around Memphis and Miss.But never in my life have I met a disrespectful employee like this.I asked that you review the tapes. It happens between the times of 01:18-01:25pm.Black Female,Brown hair to shoulders parted in the middle,5'7",chubby and bad attitude.The reason I didnt handle the matter because I had my Mentally handicapped uncle also in the car.Its the holiday weekend but rest assure corporate will hear from me Tuesday Morning.Thank You

My name is Ron Bizzle (employee ID 787568) and I work at store 2830.. my concern is that my manager is giving work hours to other people from different stores.. including her husband while at the same time my hours are reduced...I have bills to pay too you know....and I also believe the manager of 2830 is padding the books (logging her husband for hours he in fact did not work)....this has got stop...I'm tried of not being able to pay my bills nor have any insurance.....working 20 hours a week at $7.25 per.

on 05/22/2012 I went to family dollar in Bessemer 631 19th street I spent $90.97 I forgot my five dollar off coupon. so I left the store went back to work found my coupon so I decide to go back to the store and tell them what happen one of the cashier call me stupid her name was Wanda. And the old man the manager was standing right there when she said it and one of my student. After all of this I stop at another Family Dollar in midfield on the same day I spent 17.05 and this is how you treat customers. Will never shop at Family Dollar again .

i have shopped in family dollar in scranton pennsylvania sence they opend on jackson st in west scranton and i have spen many hard earnd working i pay for everything i buy i am not a theief and was wrongly accused by the short fat dirty looking manager of trying to take somthing from there store when i was not even near the door i had one item in my hand and she approached me as if i were trying to take an item from the store cuz i didnt have a carrage i only wen in for 1 item and was just looking around and she caused embarrassmen in front of my son and other shoopers in the store so i proceed to call the corps office on her and all they can do is tell me they have to teach the slim bag another way of approaching people FAMILY DOLLAR SUCKS

My 22 year old daughter Joana Morales works at your store in Natrona Heights PA. She came home one day last week in tears. The Manager, Sonya, had Joana in her office cornered like an animal screaming in her face about Joana had no reason to be late. My daughter was written up the day she stayed home because I was having problems with my heart. I refused to go to the hospital and she stayed with me. Her father died in September and I had 3 heart attacks after his death. Joana will be looking for a new job with several stores opening up in the area and I refuse to give Family Dollar any of my business!!! I have several family members in this area also who will no longer use your store..

I am complaining regarding the rude employees working at the STORE IN Atkinson Ga. they are always making rude coments about customers when they leave the store.Most the customers say they are npt returning because they are tired of over hearing them when they are leaving the store. I thought would like to know your business is now going to dollar store down the road.

Family dollar has take the" Family " out of Family Dollar!!! I have been employed at Family dollar for more than 12 years and have never seen or have been told to Demote a manager for No good reason... Today I received a call from a DM telling me to take a service Manager to asst. Manage ,where then they will be demoted to a clerk and their pay reduced.This has been a dedicated employee for more than 5 years... This position was dreamed up by Family Dollar and Now with no warning they delete the position and taken hourly pay that had been earned away... How can you expect to keep hard working,honest,dedicated ,helpful employees in these stores if you treat Them like they mean nothing to the company...

I applied for a job at job at family dollar in Rockford,Il. I did the interview,drug test and everything I was supposed to do except the tax forms. The manager told me to give up the other job that I had been offered if I want to because I definitely had the job there. After two weeks of telling me I couldn't do my tax papers yet because the computers were down, she calls me and wants me to come in within the next 30 minutes to start work because someone walked out on her. Keep in mind that I told her before I could only work the 2nd shift because I have children and no child care until 2:30. I asked her if I could come in after 2:30 and start and she said it was then or not at all. So now I am not only out of the family dollar job but the one I gave up for them too. This manager sucks.

To day myself and several other customers at the Family Dollar store located at 7501 Homestead and Ley Rd. experience a very unproffessional incounter between a manager speaking to her employees, we all found it very unproffessional the mananger would speak to her employees in a manner that she did in front of a line of customers watching. We all were standing and waiting to be checked out. One custmer walked out of the store very upset. She could have at least taken the two employees to the back of the store and discussed the matter. And she had the nerve to ask one of the employees to sign the writeup, as we were standing there waiting. I think that the managers need more training in how to handle situations like the one we encounter to day. She was very rude and had a very bad attitude with the customer.

I went to the store located on 102 W Fletcher Ave - Tampa FL 33612-3411 in which I have went many of times. I went with my wife and was waiting on her outside and the store clerk who was not the normal ones I see in the store informed the manager, she thought I had stole something. This happen around 3:00 pm. He came out and checked my bag and was very disrespectful. HE NEVER FOUND ANYTHING IN MY BAG BUT THE ITEM I PURCHASED WITH A RECEIPT. I will never purchase anything from this store and have started to call all my family and inform them of my experience. They are outraged and will also not be shopping there anymore because they fear that they will subject to the same harrassment. I want an apology and I will be doing some additional research to see what could be done. She did not see me take anything from the store. I think this was purely ignorance on her part and the manager. You need to tell your employee to make sure they see someone steal before approaching them because this is not good customer services. Check your cameras out and see who the real stealer is. You have cameras and they should be reviewed before judging or mistreating a customer who spends their hard earned money to support the store. The service was far from Poor. That is the only one I could select. It was disgraceful.

I went into the new store located at Oates Dr. and Northwest drive to pick up a few things for my granddaughter, 7 years ol and her birthday. I picked up 2 extra items because they had a sign 2 for $8. I got to the register and it rang up full price. The cashier called the manager, Michelle. The manager came up to me with a surly look and manner and asked me "What?". I was takenaback and explained the items were advertised on sale. Michelle then asked me if I was able to read. I replied that I could and if the sign is not for those items then the sign should be moved and that I should get the sale price, I was told no. She replied if I wanted it. I said yes, but I did not appreciate her attitude. Michelle then turned her back on me after rolling her eyes at me. I was shocked. I have frequented the store since its opening.Not any longer. I have never been treated like this before, I plan on getting her fired.

On today I entered the store #08621, As a mother and a police officer I was so embarassed and hurt over the way the Manager "Keyshia" handled one of her new employess a young lady named Dishia. I hate I did not have my cell phone to record the rude behavior this manager showed, totally unacceptable. Time to protest. I like shopping there but if this does not get corrected ASAP by coperate, I will see about encouraging the young lady to file. YOU ALL NEED TO DO UNDERCOVER THERE.

I just left your family dollar on, liberty st spfld ma and the employee at the regiter name was gloria in all the time I have shopped at your store I have never encountered such a rude person I dont think I will ever return to that store again

THE FAMILY DOLLARS STORES ARE TERRIBLE NOW. THE HELP IS TERRIBLE AND THERE IS ALWAYS BOXES ALL AROUND. I GO TO DOLLAR TREE NOW , IT IS THE BEST. THATS WHY FAMILY DOLLAR TREE IS LOSING BUSINESS. GET YOUR STORES IN SHAPE.
