Screwed by Seller
A seller deceitfully sent me the wrong item. I sent the item back and never got the money back because the seller denied receiving the item after many correspondence. Ebay refused to intervene because the 90 days period has passed. Billmelater wants me to pay it back since it was done through billmelater. I sent a letter and an email to CEO and have yet to hear from him. Ebay is the safe harbor for crooks
Buyers Watch out
Ebay customer service doesn't support the buyers at all. If a transaction is canceled by the Seller and buyer declines the requests, Ebay take the transaction fee but the buyers are not compensated in any way. Talking to customer service they come up withambiguous answer almost always forumated in the same sentence pattern that they can't do anything about even after it is repeatedly happening. Also they are interupt while talking and quick to accuse as if it is your fault. Clearly shows that they don't care about customers anymore. It is time to look at the lots of alternative available solutions or stick to amazon, etsy or any other auction sites. The supervisors are rude and treat your like uneducated child and if we have to file a complaint against the supervisor they don't transfer to there manager at all.
When was Lying the Truth
I was doing okay on ebay and had a No Return Policy for my "Buy it Now" products. @ woman wanted to return. I simply copied and pasted Ebay rules back to them. One ask for credit I gave it to her then she decided she wanted money back, which I did and then she left a neg. feedback, The other mailed back her dress after she wore it( smelled of perfume and BO ) and wanted a refund. Ebay would not believe me. I was kicked off for life. Why have a no return policy even an option, Ebay? When was lying the truth.
Horrible. Not being able to talk to someonme at headquarters is terrible business practices. You are making an international company a secret organization. Management is awful
Customer Service Nightmare
Don't believe that all is well ,even after they assured you your refund it is on its way Due to their inability to use common sense, simple mathematics, or proper accounting practices or proper research skills. It's bound to get overturned,denied, upon further review.
Unable to leave feedback
I spoke to two women from customer service whose ability to communicate in English was limited regarding leaving negative feedback for a buyer who refused to pay for an item. I was told that I could no do so as I had gone to the resolution center put in a complaint and eventually I had to ask that the case be closed in order not to be charged a fee. I was told that ebay does not allow you to leave negative feedback when you file a case with the resolution center. The message I received is that ebay does not care about a sellers frustration in dealing with deadbeats. They want to protect the buyer and not the seller. I hve spend over an hour trying to deal with the transaction and the deadbeat buyer gets away scoot free. I called the corporate office but was not given a choice to speak with a person. I am extremely disappointed with Ebay.
Bad everything
Ebay restricted my account for life even do I have been with them for over 12 years because I was selling so much ($10,000-$16,000) dollars in and they would not increase my selling limits. I was selling cheap watches, cell phone accessories, dvd, cables, a little of everything. There customer service is awful, spoke to CEO John don't care about ebay. Now selling locally and making more money than having to pay that ugly paypal company and ebay fees, they were taking all my profit.
Holding Funds
I am livid that ebay has released my last three sold item funds immediately but just up and decided to hold my most recent sold item's funds. I have excellent feedback both buying and selling. It insane. I was told by paypal and ebay I would not have funds held anymore. They didn't stipulate they would hold funds if they were of a certain $ amount. Customer Service was of NO HELP. They even lied to me and said they didn't know the corporate number. It took me 2 seconds to find it online. Crappy service to the small time seller. Especially since ALL my feedback is excellent! Your company should be ashamed! Should there ever be a class action law suit against ebay, you can bet I will be a part of it!
Hold on funds for 21 days !
I was told I have a hold for 21 days to access funds from pay pal. They said my dashboard went down, but my feedback score went up. I can't use my pay pal card to print postage of issue a refund. They told me I need to use my own money. From my personal bank acct. I do not have extra funds to do postage or refunds. I live day to day. Tried to talking with customer support and got run around for 2 hours. And still funds will not be released. There is no support for seller at all. I am so disguested. Have been a seller for 8 yrs. Any help would be appreciated.

I am willing to be apart of a class action lawsuit they restricted my account which locked my paypal and I have no access to either and I cannot sign in to my ebay to pay my stupid debt off for then locking ny paypal up.
Lawyers
To answer the guy below who wants to start a class action lawsuit against e-Bay sign me up!!! The problem is Laywers are money driven also. They won't do the right thing unless they see millions on the table. It's corporations who hire them so they can help the pay off the school loans get out of debt. Huge corporations own the lawyers too.
Ebay unfair to small sellers
Again, if 0 stars were an option I would give it. I have been a small seller on ebay for 13 years and find my account restricted because one customer lied about receiving item.Ebay customer servive admitted that they thought customer was lying but said I had to wait 1 year, unless I became a "high volume seller" in which case they would remove the restriction in 3 months or less. ebay truly sucks and is grossly unfair.
eBay hates their sellers!
If I could give them a negative rating, I would. They told me that as a seller I have no options for dealing with a bad buyer. They told me it was okay if I closed my account when I called customer support. While this buyer is lying, I lose my money and have no action for recourse. STAY AWAY FROM eBay!!!
Feel Ripped Off
Ebay is charging me fees on shipping .. 10% on shipping and i pay bubble wrap ,peanuts and tape. I also have not charged enough for shipping to pay shipping cost Then Ebay thinks they need 10 %. I called they wanted me to add shipping into my product cost. I only laughed at them. Same fee where i add to cost of item. I told them i was no dumb person and i can do math. You pay if you add it as free shipping and put it into the cost. What idiot do they think we are ?

I have never had any problems buying of selling, percentages may become a consideration given its a different marketplace than say amazon, contact me and I'll let you know of your next best advertising slogan, although it'd only be towards the hipster, on the go crowd, you know consumers.

Terrible customer service! Most customer support people have NO IDEA what they idea what they are saying or talking about! Worst, absolutely the worst group of people in the world! No way to elevate anything, there is no one above them to reach!
ebay sells beastality and gets away with it
ebay sells rape movies and beastality movies so far in the last few weeks i photo copied 6 beastality movies they sold is ebay above the law.you people when you call custermer service did you know your talking to asia i bet you didn,t how is people from asia going to help you there just robots programed what to say they should get rid of ebay the drug dealers are putting there money into antique cars and selling them on ebay
PayPal is killing your business
I have experienced repeated problems with making payment via PayPal, wishing on all transactions to charge it to my personal credit card, which is in their record. P/P needs to take a page out of Amazon's playbook, which displays payment options in 1 simple menu. P/P drags you thru mutiple screens, with obvious intent to have one subscribe to their debit card of "Pay-It -Later". I'm now going to speak with my feet and take as much of my business elsewhere. Noted is your rating is showing a 2.3 out orf 5.0----pretty pathetic. USAToday also reported unmet earnings expectatations for EBay, and yet worse for P/P. I like EBay, but folks, PayPal is tanking your business.

Ebay does not look at all sides of the story. always finds in favor of the buyer allows buyers to leave untruthful comments about sellers even when documented makes sellers refund buyers everytime no matter what allows buyers to threaten and curse sellers and not be held accountable for their actions. does not educte new buyers on their responsibility of buying customer service is useless only says that does not fall into the category. this is nonnsense! they must be stopped any takers?
