Seller has no rights

A buyer has all the rights in the world do mark a sellers rating on how they think & feel. The seller has no say in the matter even when a buyer pays 7 to 10 days late. If a seller marks bad communication on ratings on the seller it will never let us sellers know whom the buyer was. Ebay will not work with the sellers but are quick to punish them if things goes wrong. 4 bad communication & 4 late shipment in 12 months got me restricted indefinitely without my right to know who and what they said. No seller defense aloud. The buyer on the other hand has all the control. Ebay

Withholding Payment

I sold a doll on Ebay. The purchaser sent the money in within 24 hours. I shipped the doll the next day. GUESS WHAT ... Ebay held my money via Paypal for 21 days. The sum of this is, the buyer had the doll, ebay had the money, and I was out of pocket $24.70, the cost of shipping. Now the 21 days are over, Paypal is taking another 7 days to transfer the funds to my bank account. So, ebay/paypal has had money for 28 days. Where is the interest accrued on this money? They are making a fortune on the backs of their sellers, never mind their over the top charges for placing items for sale. NEVER again, either as a purchaser or seller. I deal with Ruby Lane. Is this holding of funds legal?

Customer Service

Ebay is a joke when taking care of there sellers. You as a buyer have all the rights in the world do mark a sellers rating go negative and the seller has no say in the matter, ebay will make sure of this. EBay's customer servce just to me as a seller that I am wasting my time with them. As a seller, I am one of the ones that is paying the salary, but they don't care. Ebay will not work with the sellers but are quick to punish them if one thing goes wrong. The buyer on the other hand has all the control. They need to go back to basics and remember the sellers.

Charged for a suspended account

I do not know my password to my account to login, and ALL of ebay's password retrieval or password reset sends emails to the address that is not accessible. Why am I not allowed to change my email address to one that works? I understand security measures but how can I pay fees when ebay is not allowing me to get into my account, however continually charges me for an account that was put on suspense for non payment??? does this make sense? ALL attempts to contact customer service sends me round and round to another rep that I have to repeat my story to and offers no help yet I continually have been charged for an account that was suspended over a year ago.

The supervisors don't take your calls. They put you on hold until you hang up. Customer service is the worst!!! If I could do ) stars, I would do that

Ebay will not give me my overpayment back

Requested several times to refund my overpayment of fees, Ebay will not respond and will not give me my money. I have contacted BBB and filed a complaint. Also filed with Attorney General in Arizona we will see if they respond the the government??

Not Worth It

This was a wasted effort; I made no money on anything I sold by the time PayPal and Ebay were through taking out fees. I recommend Amazon or may be Etsy, somewhere other than this place to give your business.

eBay Ratings

It seems that as we read the reviews, many of the higher ones are actually serrious complaints. These reviewers misinterpreted the "star" system. The actual average appears to be something like 1.25. Future reviewers please take note.

Damaged Television

I received a 50" television and it was damaged the screen had spider web like cracks all on the front of it. I contacted the seller no response. I contacted Ebay and they said all they could do was email the seller and said good luck on getting the seller to contact me. I needed the seller to contact Fedex to file a claim and I have not heard or had any luck with anything!!!! I am disabled and on a fixed income I cannot get my money back and I am without a television.

terrible service

the greedy corporate suckers are at it again, not taking care of the business like they should. Ship jobs to another country(customer service)you can hardly understand the people you talk with and they are programed with answers, they really cannot help you. cannot talk with a supervisor, cannot talk with corporate. I suggest find a new outlet this e-bayjhas used up its purpose.

I booth a heavy bracelet the seller send a junk earring i sending back the item but i have to pay the shipping not my fouls they s end me the wrong item why i have to pay t he shipping? The seller is not get back to me. I just don't :-) understand why eBay not takes of from the seller list? They do this for 1600 costumer

Bought an item seller asked for more money, seller left sexual comments in ebay messaging, ebay removed the negative feedback I left because it said the seller made threats to me. China call center terrible, not allowed to speak to a supervisor, if you're wanting to file a case, save your time it will take 30-45 mins and will not go anywhere.

contacting ebay

Just try to contact e-bay in ca. they have made it almost impossible to talk to anyone in the corporate offices. The same low grade employees that are used in the PI are the same ones that are used to handle all customer complaints so there is no way to actually register a real complaint. Lies, wrong phone numbers, put on hold for long periods and multiple times in one phone session. These are just a few of the things that are happening and the problem continues on. I've called for very close to a year to solve one problem which they have admitted it is their problem. Just the kind of CUSTOMER SERVICE that we all want and need. So why do people complain about e bay? Makes one wonder huh!

Very poor customer service

Ebay customer service lies to you when you try to talk to a supervisor or request a phone number to contact their corporate headquarters. Ebay does not allow negative feedback to be left for any reason against buyers because buyers have to be protected. Someone can change their mind about purchasing someone and Ebay will charge it back to the seller without even talking to the seller. It is then a fight with Ebay to prevent this charge from coming out of your account. Ebay is not a friendly place to buy and sell any longer.

I am so tired of having to deal with Customer Service in other countries!! You can't understand half of them. You are an American company and should have customer service in this country! Shame on you! You have lost me for a customer after many years.
