I want to compliment the quality of an employee you have at one of the Waco Locations. I frequent this particular store and the young man there is always so friendly and helpful. He helped me on a cold, rainy day not too long ago by helping me open my doors and load my items. He got wet, but did not seem to mind as he smiled and asked me to come back. Now that is service!!

I have a 16u Travel Baseball Team that wohld live to have a sponsor. I drop off all the information that you at the Marysville Ohio Store. Tje said they just need an ok from Head Quarters. Thanks you so much for just being interested in our yeam. Coach Jesse Sepeda

What in the world is going on here? They just need to shut this place down. We have recently moved to the area and I have been to this store three different times. All three times the isles are full of carts with new stock and no ones seems to care if the shelves are stocked or not. The floors look like they have never seen a mop. Crazy! I'll just go down the road to Family Dollar or Alco.

I will not be shopping at any more dollar general stores for selling dirty men magazines especially with the display where my husband and children can see it. These magazine are disrespectful to both men and women. I am beyond disgusted with this type of greed would throw out morals for a few extra $$$.

I have never seen such terrible bags to hold the merchandise you just bought at the store. You can not get into your house without the bags splitting.

Management tries to play with legal rights.

I have been to the dollar general in rowland nc atleast 4 or 5 times in the past 2 weeks in the mornings. Each time I get out my car at 8 and can't get into the store along with other customers. The employees as well as the manager are sitting in their cars looking at us like they don't open at 8 am. Then when they do decide to get out we still have to wait for them to get their drawers ready before we can enter the store. Today the manager didn't get there until 8:05, and wait again for them to fix the drawer and not only did they throw off our work schedules(customers), but also two delivery guys that needed to get in. This is ridiculous!! And some thing needs to be done.

i went to the store at 8.05 am jan 12th 2013 and had to wait for the manager to get to up the store has the lady who was to work the check out was getting upset cuz she was going to late and it wasnt her fault plus the manger was so rude to everyone that will be my last trip to sainte genevieve dollar store i think you all need to fix that she is one rude lady nor a very good manager at all and i am a businees lady

why is it since the new year the store in sainte genvieve is dirty and the workers act like they cant talk to you and there is always a line to get checked out and the manager is doing nothing to help them i dont know but at christmas when i shopped there it was cleaned and the best i have ever seen and the works were jolly and not walking on ice dont like it

I went to our local dollar general at 8:05am. I figured its only 5mins so I'll wait. After calling numerous times I left. It's now 8:41 so I'm home and livid with this store. It's ALWAYS something. Staff are rude. Long lines as always. Ridiculous.

I am conplaining about store # 11036 in Huntsville Texas. I have been to this store numerouse times when a product wopuld be priced then when I get to the checkout another much higher price is charged. When questioned the manager is always called but everytime the storey is someone put the wrong sign up. This is not corrected when I go the next time. Sale items never come up the sale price and the manager will not correct the price. Tonight I went in purchased 2 bags of everpet dog food with a sign in front of it saying you get a free throw toy up to 4.95. I selected two 3 dollar toys. at the register the checker did not know what to do so the manager was called. she went back looked at the sign came back to the register and said she did not know what to do. She called someone on her cell phone , as the line gets long, then she says the sign should not be there, they did not have the toy. leaving I thought , They just stole 4.95 twice from me. I hope this theft and fraud is stopped at this store. In Huntsville we have a second store on the other sign of town. This store is great, I wish that manager would come to our side of town.

the dollar general in duncanville alabama has had my mother and my wife arrested for a theft of property charge due to the lead cahier allowing clerance items that rang up for a penny to be sold as well as items that was on clearance she gave them a good price. the lead cahier name was brittany champion. i have hired an attorney and plan on going fourth to get thisto end and have the charges dropped and to fle a civil law suit against the company. i work for a law enforcement agency and have never seen such. they have violated severeal differnt things and know this will be adressed at the court. best thing dg could do is to drop charges before court or trial will not be fun when the judge orders.

The republic pa store is the worst store i have ever been in the rudest people work there. I will not shop there & i will be sure to spread the word to all my friends & family. The only nice person there was an african american lady. Im also going to put a write up in the local newpaper about what a horrible store this is.

I use to work for Dollar General, and I am appalled at the way that we were treated as people in the Saginaw, MI store on Michigan Ave. I always gave he best customer service that I could to the customers, them being happy and treated right meant that I would have return customers and good reviews. But it was all for nought. Yes I was late a few times, but there were plenty of times that I ended up staying over, PAST when I was suppose to punch out for the end of my shift, and I came in to cover shifts for other people, and I even covered shifts at other stores. But still, even though I had walked all the way to work, a 45 minute walk, while I had a huge, deep massive mersa sore on the back of my upper thigh, I was let go from my position as a cashier. And why? Because I went to the hospital, with the OPINION of my m.o.d, who didn't want to have to fill out any paperwork because of how badly it hurt for me to walk to work and she didn't want me to have any sort of incident on the sales floor. So the next day, i was late by ten minutes for work, because I needed to buy a few household items, and wasn't suppose to get out work until closing that evening, and my bosses had let me go from work. The district manager put it as a mutual parting, and that there was a nice and polite and highly reccomended referral for when other potential employers called to check on me. Not only that, when our store had just started to sell jewelry again, I had found evidence of another employee stealing the new jewelry and none of us had sold any. Yet nothing was done to her. People were fired from that location for the littlest things that they just let pile up and then they had everyone "team up and let loose" everything that was thought as inappropriate and unacceptable in everyone else's eyes. If we didn't suck up and stay in the store managers circle of favorite employees, you were destined to be fired one way or the other at that store. I guess I was lucky in a sense of how I had gotten out of that job.... Oh well, Cest la vie! On to bigger and better things!

I will never bring myself to such lows ever again. There's no respect at the workplace. Everyone is trying to get a promotion by trying to get everyone else fired. The elderly that work there are poorly treated. The brand of DG is now so disrespected that the customers don't shop... they take what they want then leave. They do that in front of your face because they know you can't stop them. I have watched on tape an employee helping a shoplifter out the door with a case of beer in each hand. If there is a new manager watch out they act like the new sheriff in town. Their tactic is to pin all the employees against each other. Believe it or not that's the easiest way to get everybody replaced. Even worse if your white. Your the first one to get fired cause you poor soul you don't speak Spanish. DG Careers... yeah right its a paycheck of 9 bucks an hour if your lucky. You also with that measly paycheck get to have a gun in your face if that particular customer wants what's in your safe that's conveniently placed right out in the open. This list goes on and on.

I will never shop at a dollar general. after visiting a location 2-3 weeks if not more i got accused of shoplifting and had to dump out my purse after i was sitting in the care for 2 minutes before the manager came out. Very unprofessional. The reason i was accused was another customer claimed to have seen me. The register was not covered as this took place outside the store.

I was shopping at the Jamestown, PA DG location as I always do, when I heard to two woman in the aisle beside me talking very vulgar about an employee that also worked at this location. The one was speaking of how she was having her friends call corporate and complain about another employee because she did not like her and she would have her fired if it was the last thing that she did there and with her position, everyone would believe her. (Very bad language was being used in between). As I rounded the corner to ask them to stop with the vulgarity because my 5 and 6 year old were in the store, I noticed it was 2 DG employees, so I finished my shopping and left. As I got to read the one ladies name tag, she is the assistant manager. This is unacceptable and I feel bad for the girl that she is planning this trechery on.

Dollar General has very poor ability when it comes to hiring the rate kind of person to represent the job. I was dealing with a lot of issues on their Facebook page from Asst. Managers, Managers, and Cashiers, mostly from the southern hick states, like Clarksville, TN and the sick part was even ex Dollar General employees. I feel sorry for the people who are limited on where they can shop and have no choice but to tolerate their unethical behaviour, however I am fighting to the end to put a stop to this, as one day this could be my mother, aunt, sister, and I will never want to here that they are treating them like the trash they have displayed themselves to be.
