My husband and I were into Denny's 3:00 AM today for breakfast and our bill was $20.19 and I gave them my AARP Member card which is suppose to give us a 20% discount and all she would us was $l. for senior coffee. Location 1340 Tamiami Tr., Port Charlotte, FL 33952
HORRIBLE SERVICE
My family and I ate at the Denny's at Lake Underhill and Semoran in Orlando, FL tonight it took a waiter over 30 min to even acknowledge that we had been seated. There were only 4 tables occupied with no more than 3 heads to a table and 5 servers on the floor!! The ONLY server that we saw do their job and pay anyone any attention at all was Juan. We have a two year old daughter and requested a high chair as well and NEVER received one. We saw at least 3 servers just standing around doing absolutely nothing while people were waiting to be seated, waiting to pay, and waiting to order. In the time we were there at least one other couple walk out of the restaurant in disgust at the lack of service in this restaurant. I am pregnant and the next time I crave breakfast for dinner I will drive the extra 7 miles instead of returning to this horrible location. DO NOT GO THERE!
Horrible Management
My family and me go to Dennys every Sunday but always have problems with the manager and trying to ask for a table . He gives nothing but problems over this every week . Then instead of appologizing and trying to be helpful he says go somewhere else to eat breakfast so from now on Im cooking myself at home and they are going to loose my business rude manager ....
can't believe i'm still waiting for my tax papers that were sent to the wrong address then when i had to send it for a reprint still have yet to hear anything back and that was at least five months ago

I visited the perrysburg oh dennys and I have to say this was the worse experience I have ever had at any dennys. The hotes didn't greet me the waitress didn't even ask if I wanted anything to drink. Acted as if I didn't exist had to wait 20 mineuts just to get a cup of coffee and another ten minutes for silverware. When I asked if the coffee was fresh I got a attitude from her. Way to go Denny for hiring the rudest ppl. If I was planning a family vacation I would not come to this dennys at the flying j travel center.
Disgusting
My Father and I dined at your Valley Blvd, City of Industry location on Friday 8/2/13. My father ordered fish n chips so the waitress brought us oil and vinegar. What was swimming in the oil was disgusting. After we mentioned this to the waitress, I overheard her telling another employee that the oil was from 2010 ??? I have photos of what we found if Denny's Corp wants to see them.
We were at the Lake Tahoe Denny's and only ordered hot fudge sundaes. It took nearly half an hour to get them and they were with chocolate ice cream. At that point the waitress said that they were out of vanilla ice cream. We left but I still wonder how the patrons enjoy eating apple pie alamode with chocolate ice cream.

Poor Service
I went to the Denny's in Colonial Heights, Virginia and the service was terrible. I ordered pancake puppies as an appetizer and it took 30 minutes for them to come out and our food took an hour to come out, and by the time it came out we had decided to leave, because tables that came on after us had already received their food. In my opinion never go to that Denny's
Food Menu change
Hello, my wife Heather and I eat at Denny's allot. I have 2 questions of changes I would like to see: The 1st is the front door entrance or the second entry if you could install a blower over the doors to keep the flies out of the restaurant, I've noticed most of your restaurants have flies buzzing around our tables and windows. It's annoying to walk into a place to enjoy a great meal and have to shoo flies away from our food, the second is I'm not a pig lover. I like meat but just not PIG, Your SLAM breakfasts have heaps of PIG in them. I also like biscuits and gravy but again there's PIG in that also, I may be your only customer who doesn't care for PIG. My question is can you have a section on your menu that doesn't have pig in it, so I can enjoy a pig free slam with biscuits and pig free gravy.
The food was okay. Ordered the Lumberjack slam, and the ham was burnt and was very dry.
"CONCERNED" manager
When eating at Denny's in Salem, Va 24153 today, I was eating a salad when I bit down on something sharp. It was a piece of hard plastic. When leaving, the manager ask how I meal was and I said fine except for this piece of plastic in my salad and I handed it to him. He said " Oh, that's a piece of the container they have to open. Good thing you didn't swallow it". The Waitress was excellent, the food was good and I certainly didn't expect anything except a little concern.
Assault
While I m away on government travel working for the United States Army, working for 18 years to protect our country from foreign threats, my wife and small children was assaulted by the staff (approx 11 pm 9 July) whom most likely have no appreciation of the gravity of this offense; you don t do that to the people that sacrifices their whole life and family to fight for our country in under this honorable profession. When I m away, it s such an awful feeling that Denny s is the one that introduces the most harm to my family, whom waits patiently, while you (management layton utah) sleeps comfortably at night.
Stopped at the one on Wade Hampton Blvd and sat there ten minutes and didn't even get acknowledged or our drink order took. They weren't busy and the restaurant wasn't even full. We will not go back.
Never going back
I wish I could not even rate it with that much a star, so I have to chose at least 1. First of all, Grand opening 2 weeks ago in North Smithfield RI, went there for breakfast, ordered food, waited at least 25 minutes, finally got it and all of it was cold, even the coffee was cold. My wife asked for an egg white omelette she received a regular omelette, sent it back waited another 20 minutes to receive the correct order, the waitress took her coffee cup to heat it up and never brought it back. And we'll never go back!
extremely poor service
My husband was on an out of state trip for the Fourth of July and happened to stop at Denny's near Sauget, IL. He called me while he was there, to let me know he'd arrived at the site he needed to be at, and that he was at Denny's waiting for his lunch. He said he ordered from the senior menu (he's 68) and got a turkey club and fries. At the time we were talking on the phone, he had been waiting 50 minutes! I asked him if he was serious and he said he was dead serious. When we hung up ten minutes later, he was STILL waiting. This location was not busy, he said there were two tables that had their food since he had arrived, and another gentleman that came in after him also had his food. Guess Denny's doesn't get a good rating from us. And, corporate will be hearing about this. Not good for business people.
Discrimination
I second the charge of Discrimination. One night at the Fondrun and Richmond Ave location in Houston, Tx I stoped in for coffee and a bite to eat before going to work (night shift) I sat at the counter, black server at register saw and ignored me. I figured the counter was not her section. Ten minutes later, after glancing over at me from time to time, she FINALLY asked... "Do you want something?" I was PISSED. Got a coffee to go, left and went in to complain the next day when I got off. Manager attitude was as crappy as the servers.... By the way, I'm caucasian and if I treated HER (the server) the way she treated me, I would have been fired!!
they suck
I was in the restaurant for lunch on Saturday. I received nasty food and bad service from the waitress. I did not finish my food and when the waitress told the manager I was not satisfied the manager said he did not care. I was not happy and plan never to return to this establishment. the last name of this manager is Lopez.
management problem
I've been a regular there for years & all of my friends & family come and eat there frequently, my boyfriend works there & is probably one of the few who actually does his work, I come & sit & eat & wait to pick him up & just because I was there for 3 hours & he had all of 1 table during that time he was told I couldn't be there while he's working on 2nd & 3rd shift which those are my only times I can go out & eat. Something really needs to be done about your management in your kernersville store, I will no longer recommend dennys to anyone. & your female GM for that store needs to realize when I come in there I'm still a customer & I pay for food every time I come in. We will be contacting corporate about this issue.
