Somebody in my area (Appleton, Wi.) flags EVERY single post in the women seeking men catagory,this has been going on for monthes with no post lasting more than a day. Isnt about time you actually did something about this? Is this the right place to post this complaint? Who the hell knows because you a-holes sure dont make it easy to bring this sort of thing to your attention. FIX THIS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Most of your complaints are legitimate folks, its ludicrous how they let the same people who place free adds on their site, flag them as well. And there are many idiots out there that don’t have anything else to do but screw with someone’s add, that they are depending on to sell services or goods honestly. It is true that these hebers that own craigslist get 10 to 14% of the people who place free adds to spend money with them so as to build this garbage site so they can sell it down the road for millions perhaps billions. Everyone who gets screwed by these money mongers needs to keep a record of the things craigslist is doing to them. Cut and paste your craigslist page and paste to word for evidence. They do not answer any complaints or phones, then they tell you to go to their ridiculous question and answer site to find out why you were flagged, even though it may take you 2 or 3 days to figure it out, if you even can. They need to be stopped or change their programming to help the people who place adds, instead of letting them get screwed every time they put an add up. Going to the attorney general for help is like going to your next door neighbor and asking them to do something about it. I am in the process of starting a class action suite against them. They do nothing about SPAMMERS, but harrass legit posters, with Ridiculous rules that make no sense. Allow commercial RE posters to pose as individuals, but allow postings of URLs in their posts. Some live in very rural areas, and find themselves smack in the middle (distance) of two communities. One is not allowed to post to both communities, but it's OK to search, purchase items for both communities. Is this not dumb? It's phone verification is Ridiculous too............!

well i have a question once in awhile when i'm on craiglist like today it will say that you are today's monthly OHIO winner. Is this a scam or is craigslist really holding a monthly contest?

You do not deserve3 one star. I have tried to write to you several times complaining about people flagging ads. If I do not get a response this time I will start a class action suit against your company. You have a responsability to run a reputable business. since you do not seem to have the capacity to do so I am giving as required by 72 business hours to contact me at my e-mail darrell.cahail@gmail.com. Anything we discuss will be public for all to see as this has become as serious issue. You need to stop the flagger that has taken control of your system. Its not happening in just the dating sites anymore. It is occurring everywhere. You have a responsibility to track who is flagging. Via them giving you their e-mail and filling out one of those number/letter things we find so anoying. Someone has written a piece of software to automatically flagg most posts. All people want is that there "legal" ad be left alone. We follow your rules but you do nothing to those that violate your established protocols. Craigs List is building a bad reputation with their job hunting section. I have applied for several jobs and they are almost all scams. They want you to do a credit check befor you get an interview. I try to find the company and they don't exixt. You need to clean this up or discontinue. I won't use Craig's list for this reason.You need to be more reliable.

I find it interesting that if you do not sing the very highest of praises for Mr. Obama, the SEIU, Acorn; and their associated affiliates or the Democrat Party, you will be deleted; not flagged, within a few minutes. However if you want to slam Pres. Bush; pick either one, the GOP or the Tea Party nothing happens to you. Now can we all say clearly out loud that this is pure and simple Socialism at work here?

You need to establish a better way to problems solve. I have been waiting for a week to receive a phone code so I can authenticate my account and continue to post ads I am stuck in a continous loop of your poor tech support and inability to fix it. I've gone through your help screens and online assistance and none of that works in this situation.

I was a loyal fan of Craigslist initially. Recently it has become worse that worthless, because the ads and general information are at best misleading and at worst either a scam or totally unreliable. A year ago I placed an ad to share my apartment. As an elderly person with some valuable items (at least in my eyes) it was necessary that I be very SELECTIVE. HUD decided that my preferances to whom I might give a key and to whom I might make available everything, constituted DISCRIMINATION. They are suing me. WATCH OUT BIG BROTHER WANTS TO TELL YOU WITH WHOM YOU MIGHT LIVE.

I cannot understand the whiners complaining about Craigslist. It is FREE! It exposes your ad to thousands, if not millions of viewers. Craigslist is not your Mommy. You live in a society with a bunch of scammers and crooks. Beware--- take your own precautions and check out each advertiser carefully before doing business. It's not that hard to do. The woman who sent $4500 across country for an SUV is just plain stupid. I love Craigslist. You whiners, go get a life!!!

In regards to previous complaint, all of the job advertisements are either redundant or bogus and it looks as if they just fill in the same advertisements in different states and cities, as if nobody would notice. Then most importantly of all after you fill out an e-mail to a company, the companies people should be able to e-mail you directly and not through some third party like craig's list, when you are trying to get hired at some kind of employment you don't go to some third party hiring agencies to get employment you walk in and speak directly to the personnel department or the human resources office or you speak directly to the person that is actually doing the hiring. "What planet are you people from?" "the spoiled little brat rich kid planet?" who's family sends him to a hiring agency? People looking for employment don't have time for this kind of crap and these games.

I posted an ad to buy coins in my local area. My ad was totally legal but I guess some coin buying "competitors" did not like the competition and flagged my ad for removal. Craigslist should not let the competition destroy newcomers trying to break into the coin buying game.
