Hi, Im FED UP with some one constantly awnsering my e-mails with silly crap , that has NO intentions what so ever on buying what i have for sale.....HOW DO I STOP THIS PERSON FROM PLAYING GAMES WITH ME ?????. Its been going on for months & months now, im affraid to put an ad on CRAIGS LIST now. I have seen plenty of Iphone sites that are complaining about how bad it is to sell anything on your listings now.....if we all work together we can STOP this crap. An company as irresponsible as Craigslist, not capable of dealing with the slime that infects their posts, should be avoided at all costs. SCAMMER: Has 13' Casita Patriot set up as a "Honey Pot" to get you to click on fake eBay Motors link that sends you to fake eBay Invoice. Asks that you Western Union $2,800.00 c a s h to them and then they'll ship it to you 'for inspection'. Well, you'll never see either your cash again, or the Casita. But this guy is still there, the flypaper listing is still there as of Jan 27, 2011 and Craigslist cannot be contacted to remove this on the surface innocuous-looking post that actually leads you down the pathway to parting with $2,800.00 cash that you'll never get back. Sadly, Craigslist absolves themselves of responsibility when in fact they actually CAN do something about this continuing fraudster and remove this and similar post. But, alas, no. They are so overwhelmed and undermanned in dealing with the rampant fraud on the site. It's as much a case of Buyer Beware as it is CraigsList Doesn't Care. D O N ' T U S E C R A I G S L I S T ! !

Please remove an ad posted for Reno area under apts/housing for rent. It is from the scam artists in Nigeria, and they are using my granddaughters full name to respond to inquiries. It is under "Mound House", there is only one ad, and we own the house and are in the process of selling it through a short sale, and the people who are buying it are going to live in the house, I have flagged this ad over and over again, as has my daughter and our RE company. People are coming up to the house and wanting to look in it! What am I supposed to do to get this off Craigslist?? Someone may even fill out their App they have posted on the response, and then those people will be in for trouble with their identies stolen and who knows what else. Thank you for you prompt attention to this matter!

I have placed several ads for bikes on CL, and have had pretty good luck. Then, last week, it started asking me for a 'Phone Authentication' number. I entered the only phone number I have for the only CL account I have. Then, it comes back and says that phone number is assigned to another CL account. Has anyone come across this problem, and how can I get my ads through again?

Craigslists is a place for total morons to screw with legitimate people. I suppose they are too stupid to have any worthwhile things to do with their time. I think I'm going back to the local newspaper want ads when I want to buy or sell items.

i mhav been harassed wih well over 20 posting per week, both against me and my business. i have not been able to post a single item on cl because this person keeps flagging me everytime i post i have filled out the cl "help" form 10 times and had not one response from them my prohibited button does not work on my screen, so i have to rely on friends and customers to flag this persons constant barage of posts against me. this is my latest posting(which he will flag by the time you look it up ) #2100299577 and this is one of the hundreds of posting he has levied against me #2100638573 cl seems to be a great corp, but when it comes to helping clients out, i give them a very poor frustrating grade happy holidays(for you-not for me) add aol to above name

Everyone needs to take note to the newest craigslist scam/fraud attempt you will receive a email telling you your post has been deleted due to, to many scams or they can not see it or something like that it will redirect you to a log on page that looks exactly the same as craigslist page DO NOT PUT YOUR ACCT INFO IN THEY ARE TRYING TO RETRIEVE YOUR INFO AND USE IT IN THEIR SCAMS IF YOU DRAG YOU CURSOR OVER THE ADDRESS THEY WANT YOU TO CLICK ON IT SHOULD SAY CRAIGSLIST IF NOT IT WILL BE THE ONE THAT'S TRYING TO SCAM YOU. BEST THING TO DO IS REPORT IT AND IF YOU DID OPEN IT GO INTO YOUR ACCT AND CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD AND ACCT INFO.IT IS GETTING HARDER EVERYDAY TO AVOID SCAMS..KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN AND CHECK EVERYTHING OUT THOROUGHLY..

The recent anti-spam IP tracking CL has started is a ham-fisted, oddly stupid way to try and keep spammers from posting. I live in a town 100 miles from my ISP, and my IP address shows me as living in that town. So, I cannot post anything in my LOCAL Craigslist at all, but I can post at will in the town I'm 100 miles away from, since my IP address comes from there. Worse than that, it's take me hours to figure this crap out - no indication AT ALL from CL when posting my ad that it didn't successfully post. WTF??? Keeping people from posting because their IP address isn't an exact match for the city they're trying to post in is incredibly thick-headed. Don't any of the IT folks at CL realize we don't all have local ISP service? How about expanding the acceptable IP addresses to include outlying areas?

I am writing because of some problems with the craigslist website here in my area, syracuse ny, craigslist. For some reason I am considered spam on this website and would like to post ads when I can, and it seems to be not working when I post, the posting does not go on the website, can you help. I am having problems posting ads for some reason I am marked as spam or bot would like to use the website again to post ads, and I cannot, for some reason, the posting do not ever show up on the website, I am a daily user of craigslist, and would like to use the website when I can, do have a account also, and seems to not help any on posting anything. Craig's List has become the parking lot for the socially outcast, physcotic freaks of the world. It appears to be run by a pack of nasty 12 year old girls with no education, no grammer and no vocabulary aside from a list of foul words that would make a sailor blush. If you are bold enough to include a reply email in your post in hopes of actually getting a response, be prepared for the onslot of assulting emails, spam and sex links that will flood your inbox for at least a week after you are freaked out so badly that you remove your ad or at the very least the email address. If your account has had the misfortune of having several flagged ads by the pack of nasty 12 year olds, you, not them, will pay the price by having to change your account password being advised by CL that you are "not allowed to use your old one any longer" as well as having to re-verify your account via a secret phone code and to put in your phone number, which often times it will not allow you to do as the site will inform you that your number "is already associated with an account". Well no joke morons. IF you manage to get through all of that nonsense and get your ad up you discover that you have spent nearly one and a half hours posting an ad for a $5 object. Personally I would rather pay for legitmate advertising than deal with what ever it is that Cl has become....a dangerous joke full of nut jobs and rip off artists and unsupervised children of the corn creatures.

I am tired of getting on the St. Louis, Missouri Craigslist site to look for a pet and when I do all I see is fighting and bickering. People are so busy trying to tell each what they should sell their animals for, that they are stupid, that they can't take care of them, etc. It is awful! When i see almost as many of those things as I do ads for animals then something is wrong. If you flag it, they just yell, and re post it, what can you do to stop it? It is really getting old! Please help us!

I was trying to place an ad under "pets" with a small rehoming fee wich and was flagged several times. Then the person that was flaggin me, Jennifer P***** emailed me to let me know that I was in violation of the Craigslist rules to posting and that the "rehoming fee" is to recoop the cost of taking the animal to the vet for deworming ect. I told her that she apparently does not know how much a vet visit costs and that 50.00 was not unacceptiable. She then proceeded to tell me that "if you want, you can verify this with Kate, she is craigslist staff, and also where i get my information, as i am a flag helper. Enjoy your c**t of an attitude and your mutts." I responded by saying "Real Mature..lets see what Craigslist will say about you representing them....oops you messed with wrong person darlin. She then proceeded to respond with the following "OMG you scare me soo much. craigslist is a user orientated site. when you email them, nothing will happen not to mention you were breaking the rules of the site, so oops, youre a stupid c**t as well. If this is how craigslist whants to be represented than we will no long use it and I will tell my friends, family and business associates to no longer use this "service".

The service at craigslist is very poor. Trying to contact a human for technical support is a nightmare. They send you to this stupid help page on craigslist that does not even anwser your questions and it is impossible to get help from craigslist. Your company is horrible and really needs to work on your customer service.
