Craigslist, Inc Corporate Office & Headquarters

Though I did not violate any terms of use , craigslist flagged my ad for several times , I thinka competitors are flagged my ad . Please give me an answer to resolve this issue .

I HAVE ATTEMPTED 4 TIMES TO SUBMIT A POST FOR A ROOMMATE AND EACH TIME I HAVE SUBMITTED THE POST, YOU SEND ME THE SAME EMAIL AS CONFIRMATION AND AFTER WAITING FOR HOURS, THE POST DOES NOT APPEAR IN CRAIGSLIST. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CONTACT ME TO ADVISE WHY YOU ARE NOT POSITING MY AD ON CRAIGSLIST. MY BEST FRIEND DID IT LAST WEEK WITH NO PROBLEM. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY MY POST IS NOT SHOWING UP. YOU KEEP SENDING ME THE SAME GENERIC EMAIL AND I WAIT 2-3 DAYS AND POST AGAIN, THEN YOU SEND ME THE EMAIL CONFIRMATION STATING THAT THE POST WILL SHOW UP IN 15 MINUTES AND AFTER 3-4 HOURS GO BY, IT IS NOT SHOWING UP. I WILL TRY TO CONTACT YOUR CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS TO SEE IF I CAN GET SOME ANSWERS SINCE NO ONE WILL CONTACT ME VIA EMAIL OR PHONE. VERY FRUSTRATING AND TO NOT HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT TO ASSIST CUSTOMERS SHOWS ME THAT YOU ALL ARE IN THIS STRICTLY FOR MAKNG MONEY AND NOTHING OR NO ONE ELSE MATTERS. BUSINESSES LIKE THIS WILL EVENTUALLY NOT LAST, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS OBVIOUS THAT YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER.

Craigslist has gone from being a valuable resource to being a dishonest mess due to their ghosting approach to spam. This diastrous, frankly dishonest approach to the problem has destroyed the value of the site. Normal people can't post. The only people who can post are spammers who go to elaborate measures to defeat their buggy, arbitrary software. The site and business' days are numbered. Hopefully the traffic will migrate to Ebay or another classified site where they have some technical expertise and better judgment.

Nothing is being posted online since 10/9/2010 although I get an email confirming activation. Your help desk is anything but, absolutely useless in every way possible. As a long time poster on CL, whenever I needed help in my home for housekeepers, etc. I never had problems finding folks using CL, but now there is something VERY wrong with your website set up. If it is deliberate then you are shooting yourself in the foot. Obviously you no longer need our business since you already made enough from all the porn ads!! Disgusting!!

I have recently experienced problems posting my advertisements, though I've had an account with Craigs for years. The only thing that has changed is that I am being required to authenticate my telephone number and for whatever reason the CL computer keeps refusing to complete the task. When I follow the suggestion to contact Craigs, the reply comes from an auto responder and is filled with unrelated information. All attempts to rouse a response from a human at Craigs have failed. I have gone to the help forum looking for better user information and have been treated with contempt and rudeness. I was shocked by this base behavior until I began reading other threads and realized that this nastiness is a pervasive behavior. Time and again I saw the same type of childish and unhelpful post authored by a handful of people as if it was some type of who-can-post-rude-stuff-first game. What's worse: it appears no one from CL monitors the help forum and thus these mean-spirited people hiding behind made-up names and snotty replies are freely badgering unsuspecting folks who turn there looking for the help that Craigs refuses to provide. This service, which I have used over the years to build my business, is now, in my mind, something kind, honest and decent people should shun. If you are considering paying for an ad, please put your financial support into something good and decent rather than this sad excuse for a community marketplace.

I AM SO ANGRY WITH CRAIGSLIST I CAN HARDLY WRITE THIS RATING. I HAVE BEEN TRYING DEAL WITH CRAIGSLIST-MODESTO AND HAVE HAD NO HELP FROM THEM. I SET UP AN ACCOUNT AND POSTING AND WAS THEN NOTIFIED THAT MY AD WAS NOT IN COMPLIANCE. I MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO ASK THEM BY EMAIL WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH MY POSTING AND ALL I KEPT GETTING WAS A NON-COMPLIANCE NOTICE AND A COPY OF THE AGREEMENT. I NEVER COULD GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER FROM THE, IN ADDITION I HAVE HAD SEVERAL BOGUS POSTINGS SHOW UP ON MY ACCOUNT. I'VE REMOVED THESE ADS AND CHANGED MY PASSWORD. TODAY ANOTHER POSTING APPEARED ON MY ACCOUNT AND I DECIDED WITH THE LACK OF HELP AND RESPONSE FROM CRAIGSLIST-MODESTO I WOULD CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. NOW, HAVING SENT FIVE REQUESTS TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT,BILLING DOES NOT RECOGNIZE MY PHONE NUMBER, WHICH WAS AUTHENICATED WHEN I SET UP THE ACCOUNT. I AM AT A LOSE AS TO WHY CRAIGSLIST-MODESTO CAN NOT RESPOND IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND RESPOND TO A SIMPLE REQUEST. I DO'T NEED PAGES OF SUGGESTIONS AS TO OTHER COURSES OF ACTION I MAY TAKE. I NEED FOR MY REQUEST TO BE FOLLOWED AND FOR SOMEONE TO STOP SCREWING WITH MY ACCOUNT.

Your tech department NEVER return any email to their department regarding issues that need assistance!!!! You should NOT have a "contact us" link...if, in fact, a "human" never returns our attempt to contact your help department to resolve issues that we, your customers, are experiencing with our listings!

Two things that bother me 1) continual pet breeding service - when an ad reads "want AKC female" you know they are looking to breed - no matter how many times a flag the ads, CraigList will not remove them - BAN ALL ANIMAL ADS! 2) the adult services section is now Casual Encounters - filthy porno pics - and CraigsList will not remove them

I have been trying to get a hold of craiglist. I usually post textbooks for sale at the end of every semester. I sometimes respond to employment ads for paralegal. Well recently when I have been posting, I keep getting deleted. Now I keep getting e-mails messages from solictors...my guess sexual. When I make it clear that my posting was about "Textbooks, the books used in college" the e-mails stop for a few hours and commence again. Now I am afraid because I got a threatening e-mail. In that e-mail it also asks for me to validate the account via phone, and it gives a cell phone number. But if this is a reputable corporation is should have a number listed, and I have found none. I am forwarding my complaint to the Department of Justice as now I am afraid that my e-mail addresses used in craigslist have been compromised; but I am more afraid that the address on my resumes can be used for someone trying to physically hurt me. The state and deferal government must do someting to govern and monitor craigslist and hold them accountable as other corporations are.
