I just wanted to say that I have had the best customer service experience given from a manager then I have ever had at any other restaurant. I frequent the Chipotle on Delmar Blvd ("The Loop") in St. Louis, MO where Mike Vroman is the manager. He is very friendly and handles his responsibilities with professionalism and respect. Always has a smile on his face. I am very pleased with the friendly service I have received from going to this location. He is a wonderful manager and deserves to be recognized for his outstanding work ethics. WAY TO GO MIKE VROMAN!!! I recently found out that he was being transferred to another location in St. louis, MO What sad news:( The "Loop" is going to miss you Mike!

at Chipotle near streetsboro ohio I just wanted to say my girlfriend and I both applied at the same exact time literally and were both interviewed on the spot. Let me also add that they were short a few staff members and were advertising for employment. So she does her interview and they say they'll call her, I do my interview (I will also add the fact that my availablility was full time - 7 days a week morning and night shifts) and they say they'll call me. 2 days go by and my girlfriend gets a call from chipotle telling her they want to set up additional meetings (meaning she was hired basically), but still no call to me. another week and a half go by when i finally get a call from the hiring manager at the store telling me that sadly, I was not chosen for employment there. Want to explain that one to me?? You hire my girlfriend who is applying for part time, but you DON'T hire me - the one advertising full time employment??? you really have to wonder how some of these people got into the "upper" positions they are in! morons!
I worked for a Chipotle for only a few weeks but I chose to leave this so called oppurtunity-filled business after being overworked and treated like a piece of crap. I still don't know how the other employess make it through thier days. I would like to go much further into detail about why I am so unhappy but it was made very clear when I was hired I would never be allowed to share any information about Chipotle to the public. At the time I thought it was just for recipies, now I am starting to realise it is a corrupt business and they wouldn't want anyone to find out. I'm almost fearful of the legal action that might follow. I did sign the paper after all. I have kitchen experience, though not the kind Chipotle does, but previous places I was employed at,like Burger King for example, has a crew of about 6-8 people at a time and put out maybe 3,000$ worth of food on a night shift (at least where I was working). At Chipotle they have only 5 people on a very busy day and put out 7,000 to 10,000 dollars worth of food. You can only imagine how crazy that would feel. Like you can never, ever get any further ahead. Your always rushing, always running. How can you produce quality when your so busy? Some of my managers understood the concept of "up-lifting" the crew's spirits. All of the managers preached about being in a good mood so we could all cooperate, however one manager in specific, never enforced such ideas. He would see the misery, that was very clear amongst the crew, spreading and almost laugh at us. We were all so busy smiles would turn to grimaces within a matter of two hours or less. How can anyone care about what they are making when they are so unhappy? This previously mentioned manager would simply yell louder to work faster until his voice was the last thing you wanted to hear. I understand 99.99% of places do not include smoke breaks into policies, which is understandable. At my location I was only given one on trash runs, probably so the manager would never be held accountable for breaking policy, which again I completely understand. If I have to work to earn my smoke, I most definately will. I am not a slacker by any means. I never stood around or neglected to do my job. I wasn't given the oppurtunity to if I had wanted anyways because of the constant fast pace. However about two and a half weeks into my job we had the BUSIEST day I had ever worked, now mind you I have worked some hard labor jobs that were not ever easy. The smiles turning to grimaces came quickly that day and the manager was barking louder than ever. However the tyranny of business did slow and I felt it was an oppurtune time to ask for a "trash run". However when I began asking another emplyee, who has been working there much longer than me, started whining about her break with a very apparent attitude in her voice. We have both been at work the same amount of time. I simply asked after she walked away, "well what if I go before she does... after I clean up, just real quick?". He said finish and we will see. I assumed I had a glimmer of hope for a ciggarette, but he immediately walked up front and put her on break, which I was unaware of until I came back up front. Still, frustrated and angry I kept my mouth shut and kept working. After they got back I kept looking his way thinking he might remember me until I couldn't take it anymore. I finally asked "I'm not getting a smoke break am I?". He loudly replies, as he often does, "I don't have to give breaks on five hour shifts". I simply snapped but managed to keep most of my composure. I said even louder..."I'm not asking for a break, I'm asking for five minutes!". This is all on the front line on front of the other employees and customers by the way. I walk to the back to grab something and he yells loud enough from the front I can hear him, "Well you can clock out and go home if you'd like". Anyone knows that means your fired so not one more word left my mouth because if it had, I would have been fired. Mind you now everyone in the store heard that. I simply finish my shift, almost in tears, mouth closed, barely able to speak to customers. Four minutes till my shift is over I leave to smoke and come back in for my free meal... who can pass up free food even in a bad situation. :D. He makes sure to call me into the kicthen, where the employees are working and repremand me again in front of them. He said to me, "When I smoked no one knew it and I work 11 to 12 hour shifts so your addiction isn't my problem. If you have a problem with me not giving you a smoke break I can take you off the schedule, you understand?" I nodded of course. Too mad to speak. Then he follows with "Any questions? Any problems?" Which I said no to and quickly left. Ever since the day I quit, about 4 or 5 days ago, I cannot find the number to corporate ANYWHERE. Tons of articles say the stores are "not allowed" to give it out and just give you the store numbers. I wanted to complain about the way I was treated though I will NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, work for them again. I have worked many jobs, full time and part time, and like I said I always do my best, but I have never been treated like that EVER. Don't ever work at a Chipotle and honestly I wouldn't eat there either. Don't support corruption and tyranny in the workplace.
(The following is a letter I just sent to their website's feedback page. I am also sending this to their corporate offices in Denver when I get the chance.) To Whom it May Concern: I am writing this letter to inform you of my dissatisfaction with one of your restaurant locations. The address to said location is: 9965 Hudson Rd. Woodbury, MN 55125 651.739.1164 I have been a customer of Chipotle for over three years. I have not had many problems with your business until now. I have been to this location a handful of times and each time there has been a problem. I have witnessed them constantly breaking burritos while wrapping them. I recall the first time I went to this location; they broke every burrito in line ahead of me, including mine. The other day, I asked for a chicken burrito. The chicken container was near empty with a pile of new cooked chicken near the grill in the back. Instead of waiting to get the new chicken, the young lady serving me scraped the remains of the near empty container onto my burrito. It looked like half the serving of meat you would normally receive. Afterwards, they broke my burrito as I watched rice spew out the middle of the burrito. Another time I went to this location, they place literally 3 shreds of lettuce on my burrito and immediately started wrapping it. I had to stop them and ask for “extra” lettuce. These complaints are not just annoyances. They are shorting me food that I am paying a static price for. In my eyes, it’s no different than taking money out of my pocket. And yet, these were not enough to warrant my writing you this letter until the incident of today. I ordered a burrito bol today before work. I got extra meat, deciding that I would eat half of it there and the other half later at work. While I ate the bol, I took a bite and noticed something rock hard that I had bit down on. I could have broken a tooth, or worse swallowed it. It was a screw. I’m curious as to how a screw falls into your food as your employees are preparing it and nobody notices. This is hardly the “food with integrity” a customer would come to expect from your establishment. Instead of making a big deal out of it around all of the customers, I decided to keep silent, cover the rest of my bol, and be on my way. Never minding the fact that my appetite is gone and I’m probably going to throw the rest of the bol out and lose money, I am more concerned about there being a metallic object in my food. This is unacceptable and consequently the reason I am now writing this letter. My father and my two older brothers were also avid fans of chipotle. Needless to say, they will be thinking twice about eating at your restaurants in the future. As a combined whole, I estimate we spend at least $40-50 each week on chipotle. If that isn’t enough, I have already posted about this on my Facebook account with pictures of the screw included. In less than an hour, there are twenty-six replies: two of which are from friends requesting to make the album public so that they can share the pictures and story with other people. I can take this even further and post my story on the chipotle fan pages as well as simply spreading my story by word of mouth. As much as I love Chipotle, I can do without and go right next door to Qdoba and endorse their business over yours. Attached are pictures of the screw that I bit into and how it looked after I spit it out onto the table. I demand that someone from your corporate offices get back to me on this matter as soon as possible. I would like to know what is going to be done about this and how I am going to be compensated. Sincerely, Nathan Hatzenbeller Sting9701@hotmail.com

Today I had lunch at the Chipotle on Camelback and 16th Street in Phoenix, AZ. First of all, I appreciate the quality of ingredients. For my own health and the health of our planet I am glad to see this level of responsibility. Then, I was greeted with smiles all down the line. Everyone was efficient, yet friendly. The manager, Tiffany Rodriguez, and another employee came by to see how everything was--again, in a very friendly and cheerful manner. And, oh yes! The food was delicious. Thank you, Anne Lackey
I ate at Chipotle in Elk Grove, CA at their 7440 Laguna Blvd restaurant on Saturday, August 13th. Chipotle claims to use Organic meats, displayed right up on their menu boards. I cannot eat any meat that has antibiotics and/or growth hormone injected into it, as it makes me deathly ill. I called the manager today, August 16th, to inquire if they have had any reported food borne illness outbreaks from Sat, Aug 13th. The manager stated, "No, not that I am aware." Food poisoning is no laughing matter. I witness restaurant staff consistently cross-contaminating foods and using unclean food-handling practices. I know, as I am certified in food safety and sanitation. Folks, we need to speak up and report these unsafe food practices to the management and Corporate Headquarters when they occur. I am on my 4th day of illness and not better yet from my meal Sat at Chipotle (carnitas salad). I will be contacting our local Health Department as well. Contaminated food kills thousands of people annually. Don't think you can't be one of them. Speak up, please!
i really love your food and would love some coupons! i eat here at lunch at least 3 times a week but cant afford my taste buds any longer, haha a few free burritos would be really appreciated Kiely2122@gmail.com
Chipolte, We use to live in Denver, CO and just moved to Holly Springs, NC. I wanted to buy a franchise and learned that you do not sell them. You have the very best food at a fair price. The best restaurant going by far. How can we convince you to open a store here in Holly Springs (Raleigh area). This is the fastest growing area in the RTP area. There is documentation available to back up the claim. Centex is building a new 326 housing project here right now. Nobody is building houses anywhere in the country. A store would be a huge success here and I would be willing to manager it to be part of your expansion into the area. Hope to hear from you. Thank you for good nutrition at a fair price! AMHERST OH CHIPOTLE......WE LOVE YOU I just want to say everytime me and my family go to the Amherst Chipotle we always come out in better moods than when we walk in!! The girls on line are always sooo friendly, even the guys on the grill and making rice are smiling. Im currently 8 months pregnant, and one of the girls even took the time to ask me about my pregnancy, telling me she was also pregnant!! This Chipotle's customer service is amazing. Even if there is a delay in getting our food, we are offered free drinks for the wait...which is never more than 5 min.!!!!! The food is always perfect, the lobby and bathrooms always clean. I can honestly say i never seen a upset customer during my visit.!!! Thank you Chipotle Team and keep up the good work!!!
Horrible, I ordered Steak Taco at the Chicago, Elston location. While I was eating the Taco I felt something harder, I took it out and it was a nail with red polish on. I filled out the on-line complain link, they called and said non of our employess had a fallen nail sorry. Really! Like I wanted to be grossed out by having a nail in my mouth. For all I know if a freaking toe nail. So the manager is suppose to come and pick up the nail as if they don't beleive me that it happened. So I guess that's what you call fresh, fresh from someones fingers! I want them to changed their policy's and I hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else. To file a complain and then make me feel bad as if I was doing something wrong. BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I also tried to call corporate office, I can't get through maybe their getting mani-padi!
Last week I received a phone call from a team member at the Olentangy Plaza (Columbus, Ohio) Chipotle informing me that I had won a "Free lunch for my entire office!". As a result of pulling my business card from their fishbowl...indeed I was the winner! The entire experience...from communicating with me, faxing in the order, order completed promptly & correctly, to a delicious meal with 33 of my colleagues was professionally done!!! Very impressive. We'll be back!!!! Sombreros off to thier ENTIRE team!!!!
I eat at Chipotly at least 3x per week, the food is THE BEST fast food around. Great food, great service, great price....an unbeatable combo! Suggest adding brown rice to your mix as an option for us brown rice lovers....more whole grains.
There are numerous chipotle locations in NYC but none in a 35-40 mile radius for me even though I am in NY! A chipotle location by the Woodbury commons outlets would be a great location because of all the shopping traffic & there is not ONE decent food place in the area!!!
