Management sucks at restaurant level and all the way to ATL (area team leader) You are looking for a law suit, pushing and brain washing employees with your goals to Restauranteour. So many of them having to work extra unpaid hours. The pressure you create with your visits to be in the 90 day list, and to became Restauranteour. It's clear who does the dirty work to cover things up, and how you look the other way when they make mistakes. You have fire,terminated, and abuse so many people it's ashame! Customers should know what your employees have to endure to get the food out. Prep and deployment chart= back to slavery Most of the time you can't take your breaks, because if you don't finish you get consequences (write up, micro managed, and push until they fire you) Look at your turn over,.your working conditions and training are not good, the question at restaurant level is not when will you be promoted, but how long until they fire you. I challenge you to look at envision cameras one week before your Restauranteour visit, you will find two things. People working off the clock or oooppsss system was down. Get a hold of your restaurants.

The Chiptole in Bloomington, IL on Veterans Parkway's manager Joe is very rude, belittling, sarcastic, and I believe racist since I have noticed (and confirmed by others who have come into contact with him) his condescending attitude is always directly towards African Americans. I love Chiptole and everyone in my family does but I can’t stand to eat there because every time I leave I am upset at the type of service I receive. I have to “mentally prepare” to deal with the employees. This is complaint number #1…… Complaint #2. They are very stingy with rice (1/2 ladle, spread out in the bottom of the pan) and when you ask for more they get an attitude. Extra meat is $2.95 more and they still don’t want to put extra on. I have realized you have to let them put the regular amount of meat on your bowl before you ask for extra meat because if you don’t you do not get extra meat. Then when you ask for extra meat they always get smart with you and rudely say it costs extra like you can’t afford it. I also think they get mad if you ask after the fact because they have to actual put extra meat on, because in past experience if you tell them upfront, you get no more or a smidgen more. My husband just had an incident today that tops the cake; with Joe whom we find out later is the manager. After struggling to get more rice than ½ ladles in his bowl, he waited to ask for extra meat until the server put the typical amount of meat on it. Joe proceeds to holler at the server asking him if he put “quadruple” meat (exaggerating and being sarcastic) on the bowl. The server looks offended at the manager and states “no, he asked for extra meat and he has ½ chicken/steak”. Then Joe proceeds to laugh like he was joking- which was clear from his demeanor he was not. As my husband sits down to eat with my daughter, my daughter p

i've got some major issues with the serving portions and employee demeanor at Chipotle and i see all these people write all these complaints to go along with my concerns. now my question is -- WHAT ARE YOU, CORPORATE CATS, DOING SINCE YOU HAVEN'T POSTED A SINGLE RESPONSE TO THESE LETTERS?

Just left the glastonbery ct. Location is one of my favory places to eat. But im ever returning after today. We have 2 burritos one was whit hair i call the manager when i was in west hartforth ct. The manager told me to come back and she going to replace my food my husband and my daghter when back to the restourant. the maneger gave bad attitude and she was looking to the window were my husband was waithing for my daghter. She is really improfetional and she needs to go back to have guest service training.

I would have given no stars if I could. I don't understand why the food portions keep getting smaller and smaller. I had stopped going to this location for awhile because every time I went in there were flies everywhere. When I went in at 11:15 this morning (they open at 11) I ask for a burrito bowl. I keep a tiny amount of rice by the person starting the bowl. I do not get beans so I don't understand why I can't get more rice. I then got chicken. Maybe 6 pieces if that. He asked what kind of sauce. Told him medium. The container was almost empty and he scraped what was in there to give me. I asked for me so he had to go get some more. He then dumped a huge amount on my tiny amount of rice and chicken. The woman next to me was given a ton of chicken by a different employee (the one that had given me the tiny amount of rice). When I asked for more chicken he told me it would be extra. I ask if the woman next to me was paying extra for hers and she said no. So he gave me maybe 4 more pieces. I then asked for cheese and he started putting the lid on. I ask if he put cheese on so I got a little bit of cheese. I then asked for a side of guac. When I got home it had a huge pit in it. Needless to say I will not be back. I had decided not to go back to that restaurant but after reading other comments on here I don't think I will be able to eat at any of them again. I used to go to other ones at least once a week. Needless to say I only ate a tiny bit of the tiny amount I had and have been running every since. The food made me sick.

I watch my boy friend kill hisself at work. One of his gms had him doing working as service manager but still a kitchen manager..transferee him again when he was going tio get a raise only togo back to the old store..where they brought a kitchen mananager from crown point and got service manager and aprentice in one week and doesnt know anything he doesnt...they have no gm. So the ywo aprentices who were recently a kitchen amd service managers do nothing. She is sleeping with one of the crew members. Do you know the people you promote. She scared teven be oline...she can bark out orders an paper. No job has so much paper work that they are in the office for an entire shift for weeks.

Location: Aliso Viejo, Ca. I love the whole concept of the healthier food/hygeine (glove wearing) I noticed the man in the back who was slicing the cooked meat had a red cut/open wound on his arm. I asked the manager to check - without even looking she said it was the marinade from the beef (not blood red lady!) as I moved down the line, she and the man in questions dissappeard and he reurned with a rather large blue bandage. Ugh...nevertheless I decided to just pray this wasnt a contaminated burrito. The steak I ordered was cold to the bite! I took it out of my mouth, as it was attached to a large piece of fat/grissel and it was raw! I was offered a free burrito by another unsighlty worker who was not clean shaven and super hairy (one of many of the employees were) Not going there again -

To Steve Ellis, and Everyone at Chipotle Headquarters: I'm writing a letter of complaint to you, Steve Ellis, and everyone else at the Chipotle Headquarters, in Colorado, about the Chipotle Restaurant at 1092 E. Hospitality Lane, San Bernardino, CA 92408. I am writing this letter of employee complaint as "Anonymous Chipotle Worker," and will remain anonymous. Be assured, I have worked at this location, as all of this info I have written in this letter, is all very true, and could all only come from an employee of this horrible Chipotle Restaurant. I'm hoping that Steve Ellis, and the H&R Department will send someone down to this location, to observe all of what I call, a "living hell." One person of interest they should look at, in this resaurant, is the Store Manager, Sandra Ramirez, as well as the rest of the restaurant's managers. But Sandra Ramirez was always part of the problems. Sandra and these managers always treated me, and the other employees with attitude...always. Never treated any of us employees with respect, not once. They have never respected the way of us calling in sick, or allowing us to leave early if sick. You would have to go into work, and actually show that you are sick. One employee there was close to throwing up, but they never let that employee leave, or ask them to leave. They continued to work their full schedule that day. If we are at the front, or at the register, they would not let us go to the restroom at all, because they didn't have someone to watch the register while you went. Not even the manager would want to watch over the register, just for five simple minutes. Everyone else just simply said "no." Sometimes I wouldn't be able to go to the restroom for hours, just because they didn't have anyone to watch the register, and just not to let me go at all.. This would result in me having some aches. Even if it was an emergency, they would still not let us go, which really fucking upsets me. They would even get upset if you ask them as well. They really like to treat us employees like their very own personal servants. An additional issue was the manager would get upset at some employees if they did not say "hi" to customers coming in, even though the entrance is out of view and far from the front. If another employee didn't say "hi," they wouldn't receive any trouble or hassle, simply because they're friends with them. Real fucking ridiculous, and extreme bullshit. Another issue is our work breaks. Some days, we would have an eight our shift, and would only have two 10 minute breaks...the whole day. Sometimes even just one break for an eight our shift, and it would take place within the first three hours of working there. There would be days where our 30 minute lunch break would occur in the first two or three hours working, of a full work day. Also, when our shift was over, we were told to stay an additonal 30 minutes, just sitting in the restaurant, as our lunch break, before we could clock out. Meaning, our shift was over, but we were not allowed to leave the building, until those 30 minutes were completely over. This wouldn't change even if we had something important to do. This happened almost everyday. I really think we should've had a 10 minute break after every two or three hours, but just having one to two breaks per day, is just pretty fucking ridiculous. This place is really far from being a friendly and respectful place to work. No one has ever complained against this team of managers, or this restaurant, because they all fear they might get fired, and that someone is a friend of a friend, and they might take sides. So all that "naturally and humanly raised animals" bullshit, is really hard to believe, if they're so cruel, and ungreatful to their own employees. Places like this shouldn't exist, and I'm really hoping this letter makes someone at the headquarters, come down and observe this "working hell." I would love for Mr. Steve Ellis to personally read this, so he can see what is going on inside of his franchise. Getting someone reported, or having this Chipotle Restaurant reported, or on the news, would make me enormously happy. Really hoping they will have someone else in charge, and get rid of these ridiculously horrible managers. I am very surprised that no one from corporate has ever seen or heard of this big mess here. Me and Chipotle are #likethis. It depends on how i'm feeinlg but i'm either going for the soft tacos, hard tacos or fajita burrito. I am one of those men who believe that men shouldn't be eating their burrito out of a bowl, it just looks soft, like he doesn't know how to work with his hands. With the 3 tacos, I usually get a mix. I normally get soft, unless i'm going to be in Chipotle for a while drinking a Corona or two, then i'll get the hard tacos. If I get the fajita burrito: rice, peppers/onions, four times the steak, lettuce and cheese, green and tomato salsa. I can't do sour cream or guac.And now i'll order my chipotle online for lunch today. Thank you.

I went to the Burnsville, Mn store for lunch today(8/30/12) and the line started at the door, but I was hungry and determined. So I am about to place my order when she stands there over the tortilla warmer and says there are 11 quesadillas that are being warmed. Why do you only have one warmer(thinking this)? So the line stops for approximately 2 minutes before they ask for people who want bowls. So four people jump in line in front of me and then she apologizes for the wait to one lady. While I'm just standing there waiting. Finally she gets to me and asks what can I get for you. It was in a friendly manner, but she should never apologized to the other lady if she was not going to apologize to me. That store is terrible.

I went to pick my online order at from the location on 136th ave in Sunrise, FL. In the special intructions section of my order, i put "hot chilli on the side and extra black beans. Well, they got that wrong. I was unable to catch it because when i came to pick it up, i was made to wait over 10 minutes just to ask for my order (it was more than the time it takes to get thru the order line). So i in effect wasted time ordering online and was unable to enjoy my lunch which is loaded with hot chilli sauce. Everyone do yourselve a favor if your day is less than stellar, avoid this location if you're thinking of have a quick bite to eat! It aint worth it!

I was in a chipolte restaurant in a Saturday afternoon and they did not have any lettuce!!!! I mean the manager had the balls to tell me he did not plan in having so many customers. Ok I guess having your basic GED is not even good enough do a managers job at Chipolte! They suck and I will NEVR GO BACK!!! Horrible customer service.

went to the new Chipotle on euclid, near university hospital, cleveland oh and got a bowl, the beans and rice was not done and the meat had more fat than meat in it. The bowl was cold as if it was taken from the ref. Very poor service
