I had a checking account with Chase, Oh as a matter of fact,I still do because they will not close my account, after I told them to. They will not close it, because a check came through, and there was no money in it, so they charge me more money. Still will not close the account. Even if I screamed at them, they or nuts.

Chase sucks! Open an account a month and a half ago and have yet to receive my debit card after repeated calls to customer service.
I have been trying to get a Loan Modification since Nov 2009 and they have also stressed me out to the point of losing my hair and sleep! They constantly give me the run around and give me wrong information. They make me re-send the same things over and over and every time I call them it is always something different! The story is never straight! I am so with Stephan Hudson on the lawsuit, they need to pay for all the stress and trouble they are making people go through. This is NOT right! They finally put me on a "trial period" but for a temporary forbearance program and now they are again giving me the run around and making me re-apply all over again eventhough all they told me they would need at the end of the first 3 months is proof of continuing unemployment, which I did sent and I have yet to hear from my so called account manager. I am losing my mind but will NOT let them win and I am willing to go with the lawsuit! I am even considering calling the CBS, Help me Howard or whoever I need to get something done! I would give zero stars to Chase if I could. They just conned my 95-year-old mother out of money by giving her the wrong information regarding investments. She was very specific in explaining what she wanted, was assured she was getting it and then found out the only thing that was happening was that she was losing more money every month. The investment people outright lied to her. SHAME ON CHASE BANK FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY...

I am sitting here fussing and fuming over the bad business practices of Chase Bank. I want the general public to know about how unreliable and inefficient their mortgage loan department is. I applied for a condo loan 2 1/2 months ago. Since I retired around the same time as the application, I was told my debt/income ratio was too low because I could not provide 2 months of pension benefits, nor 2 months of work income because I was in the "transitional" period between work and retirement. I was then advised to pay off my car and dispose of that payment, which I did. Every few days Chase requested further paperwork, which myself or my realtor provided. They took $330 from my checking account for the appraisal, and just this morning, they requested documentation from the condo association, which cost me another 93.00 to provide. Only a few hours after the 93.00 documents were provided, they called and said the loan was closed because the property was in "redemption" period, and they never had this information. However, they were supplied with the title over 4 weeks ago, which shows the property in redemption. So after 2 months of jumping through hoops and incurring all of these extra costs, I guess someone finally looked over the paperwork that they have had for weeks and decided they would not approve the loan. Oh and I forgot to mention that I was putting down 50% cash down on the cost for a very inexpensive condo. One would like to believe that if the banks are supposed to be helpful to people in trouble with their mortgages, they would be as helpful to persons who have no bad financial issues and are will to put half down on a property.

its so upsetting to find out that your trying to book a flight and your bank is quick to get the monet but somehow your airline never receive any confermation staing that they receive an approval and that sorry but your unable to travel now i have to wait 3 buisness day to see what happen or what is going to happen.customer service representative at chase are un helpful and dont even know how to help you.. but as soon as this is all clear im going to close my account and deal better with my credit union even if i have to travel out so far to........very unhappy and i quest i will not be going no where now... sorry to my patrents..

To all you who have been screwed by the banking industry's "loan modification" process, "what's taking so long?" I'm not even going to wait for a class action, I'm going to file myself ( don't have the money anymore to pay an attorney for a process I can do) I appreciate any ideas, but after 2+ years they've eaten up most of my equity w/late charges and phony fees. I've had to file bankruptcy, I'm out of money, my wife is worn out and probably wants to dump me, everybody thinks somehow that I screwed up, because the bank wouldn't do this to you unless you did something wrong!! Just like "they wouldn't manipulate your account to make more money on fees,would they?" They're CROOKS!!! BUT - I'm not going to give them my house - not over my dead body! And I mean that. I paid my 2008 tax bill at chase what happen i rec a red notice not paying attn. it was an 2008 tax payment i paid again when i rec my 2009 tax bill i had a double payment but the one payment never made it so they re issue another check it's been a month and they never rec it. i call cook county tra to add up those late fees they own me. so i had to fill out a form to have my late fees paid. how long is this going to take with the county so chase own me over 300.00 after this mess is over good bye chase.
Horrible customer relations! I had noticed signs in the lobby of the bank advertising for the loan modification program through Chase. I inquired as to same, and requested the application. NO ONE - not even the manager - KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT THE PROGRAM. they told me you "have to have your original mortgage with Chase" and "I don't know how you apply or what you need to do, and you'll have to find the application online somewhere, but we can't tell you where because we don't know"
I was very disappointed when I went to my Chase branch to make a deposit. Upon approaching the front door I noticed that there was no wreath or any Christmas decorations on the door. Upon entering I observed that there was no Christmas Tree or decorations except a transfer on the back door of a sting of tree lights! I am so sad that American business are so afraid of being criticized for not being politically correct!! Shame on you! Our founding fathers would be very disappointed in your attitude. I do not have a problem with the employees at my branch, they are all very helpful and respectful, this a complaint with the CEO's!

Chase Bank took money from my account and returned two items unpaid for an overdraft fee from a previous WAMU account. I feel it is unprofessional due to the fact Chase didn't contact me in writing or by phone to discuss with me how I wanted to handle the situation. And I just opened the Access Checking account on 11/27/10 and the New Account Representative should have seen what was going on. They access to Check Systems so I feel this is very unprofessional of them. And their phone representatives are rude as hell. They don't let you talk and they talk all over you, plus they try to be extremely cocky.
I received a call in early June 2010 asking if I wanted 0% Credit Card .The young lady took my information and stated I could do balance transfers on my 2 open credit cards. I said "No THank You" . On June 24, 2010 I received a call from my bank stating Chase Freedom Card was attempting to do a balance transfer. I said do not accept it and immediately called my other credit card company to stop any transfers. I then called Chase and they stated that the balance transfers did not go through. I closed the account and shredded the cards. They now have opened 2 more accounts and have for six months been trying to do the transfers and charging me fees each time they try. An account I have never used now has fees of 337.00. If you receive any information about a Chase Card destroy it Immediately.
Chase does not deserve ANY STARS AT ALL!!! I called to stop a payment on a check. The rep told me 2 things: 1)$34 fee 2)It takes 48 hours to process. He then asked for the check number. A few days later I called and the automated system told me the check had not been cashed. Great! I called the company that I originally issued the check to and informed them that I stopped the check until they can give me an itemized receipt. A few days later I received my receipt so I gave them a new check. This shoould've been a done deal. However, I called to check my balance and discovered that the first check wasn't actually stopped! It's 9pm, too late to call the business to stop the second check. I called Chase. The rep apologized and asked for the 2nd check number. He said he would move the stop from the first check to the 2nd one.He also said the money would be returned to my account. He said I didn't have to do anything. I asked for his name and a confirmation number (he gave it to me). A few days later I shopped at Walmart and paid bills everything was fine. A few more days went by, I'm paying for dinner with my Chase card and was declined! I called Chase to find out that the 2nd check wasn't stopped AND Chase took the money that they put back into my account!! I have a severe NEGATIVE BALANCE and NOONE wants to accept responsibility for their error! They've apologized, reversed any insufficient funds fees, but says I have to go after the business to get my money because "they were paid twice"! I asked who paid them twice? Chase paid them twice! I paid for a stop payment. Suppose it takes weeks or months for the company to refund my check? Chase couldn't stop a payment twice??? What about all the fees accrued from the return of checks? i.e I paid my credit card account (from another bank)with my Chase card, it was returned. Now I have to pay the other banks' return check fees too! Due to a negative balance, I don't have access to my unemployment check. I have no available cash. CHASE DOES NOT CARE!!! I can't believe this is happening to me!
