F minus Customer satisfication
I received 4 letters with conflicting information as to why my loan was not approved. To do business with Chase Bank you have to be willing to get frustrated, stressed out, jump threw hoops, have month and months to wait, provide 20-30 documents of your personal information, waste hour upon hour of your time to come out empty handed. Chase is the right name, they chase you away.
Mortgage failure
I applied for a refinance of a vacation home co-owned by my brother-in-law. After applying for and providing all required documents, the company failed to lock in the rates and complete the loan. They went dark and never provided deposition on the loan in accordance with Reg B.
Tired Of The Run Around
After 6 months of fighting with the bank to get a short sale approval Chase refused to give the closing instructions so we could close. No one seemed to be able to help after repeatedly calling and asking for assistance. I would not bank with them!!!
Four operators during business hours
Is Chase so broke that they have to hire telephone customer service agents from India during the week during business hours? I called them today with a problem and got some Indian and I couldn't understand a word he said. if Chase continues this policy I believe I will blank elsewhere.
My experience with Chase Bank & with The Chase Group has been exceptional. I have found that when I have an issue, I contact the V.P. of that particular section & things are "made right". If you have a complaint, please take the time to go to the manager or V.P. level for your area (not your branch). You may be surprised at well your issue is taken care of.
Chase has the most absurd excuse for a system to work with real estate Broker's that are trying to short sale properties for homeowner's. Their employees don't leave their extension #'s when calling, and when you call back no-one there has ever heard of that person. When presenting an offer, they tell you a BPO has to be done now. What buyer is going to wait 3-4 wks or more just to hear if their offer is accepted?! Their "specialists" change like weather does in Florida(someone different assigned every time you call). On one listing, before I could present an offer - it was sold to Ocwen - so start the whole silly process over again(including becoming approved, 3rd party verification, etc.) To my peers - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS BANK!!!!!
Mid Level Management
It seems that people that work hard and do extra work and duties for this company in the Westerville, OH office get passed over for promotion? Plus the people in charge of this office is located in TX! What is the matter with this? They don't have any idea of what goes on! You need to revamp your chain of management it is a shame such a company is so poorly setup.
Terrible service!
Service
Service is the last thing you get with this bank! They are all about making money, the bank and it's employees. Hours and hours of red tape, incompetent employees, rudeness, no answers for important questions. Everyone is so job scared they are afraid to say anything, and with good reason. They don't know anything! I would never recommend this bank to anyone!
Fraud Heavan
Chase is a cesspool of for fraud. BE WARY OF THIS BANK!
Chase does not keep promises
I was promised copies of appraisals for a loan that Chase appraoched me on. After I gave them all they wanted they said the could not go forward. This was after they waste countless hours of my time , had me drive 100 miles one way to meet an appraiser etc. etc. etc. When I complained they promise a refund of fees paid and copy of the apraisal. So far no appraisal as promised. They are polite but not honest.
Bank Assistance
I have recently been diagnosed withy Parkinsons disease, and have decided to downsize sevweal of my accounts. I would like to especially commend a Chase employee, Mr Adrian Arvayo , a branch manager of the Tucson office. Mr Arvayo was very compassionate and helpful in every way. Chase is extremely fortunate to have such an excellent employee
Worse Customer Service
We opened an account at Chase bank and from day one we had problems. Long story short after many trips to the bank to resign paperwork their employees messed up on. We made a HUGE deposit with bonds and the employee did not put them in right. As of now we have a sum of money floating around somewhere intill "chase" is Able to locate the oringal scanned documents! The only answers we have recieved from chase is our employee made a mistake! We are withdrawing our money and taking action against the missing money. I warn anybody new to chase to be careful, and don't trust them!! We have had the WORSE customer service
Ripped Off by Chase
Chase entered me into a loan for the purpose of building my credit, then issued me a letter stating that they coundn't allow the installment loan to build me the credit What a joke - I'm will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General, shortly
My purse was stolen with my driver license in it, somebody used my ID and forged my signature at chase bank branches and withdraw money from my account, chase employees didn't even bother to look at picture on the ID, and even they ignored the alert and warning on my account saying this customer ID was stolen call this number (I put my cell) to confirm transaction but ofcourse no one called, so chase customers be aware
Ripped off
Chase closed my secured credit card without notice and refused to give back the balance I paid up front that wasn't used!
Do you think Chase is a bad bank...I do not...Chase has done for me what any other bank would do. When I opened my account, I didn't expect to receive prize or charity. I am happy receiving just a good service and doing BUSINESS with Chase.
Chase Bank Is Horrible
Chase Bank has been the worst financial institution I have ever dealt with. I have been in the military for 3 and a half years and I have a very complex schedule. Chase has been horrible with working with me. I am constantly suffering over drafting from mistakes they make. I've tried to cancel an auto-pay feature on a a credit card I had through them, 5 times and I still get charged the fee automatically. I've been deployed and haven't had the ability to work my banking situation due to no internet or phone access and they refuse to help me regardless of my unique situation. If you are considering chase bank, I highly, highly discourage it.
Terrible service!
In refinancing they talk all over you, are extremely rude and they were the ones who asked for our business. Errol was not listening to a word I said and he certainly did not make me feel welcomed or appreciated. When I brought Errol's conduct to her attention she instantly dropped her fake, kind attitude. I hope Chase goes under and we will be pulling our 5 credit cards and cancelling with Chase and taking our business where it is appreciated and people are kind, actually listen and treat people like they want to be treated! It I could give 0 stars I would.
Me and my spouse have come to the conclusion, that Chase bank is only good for receiving and using your money, you can forget receiving a home loan from them. You will run into red tape, months of stalling, hours of your time wasted, with tons of your personal information and documents in their possession and come back empty handed. especially if you have excellent Credit, Assets, Substantial Revenue in the bank, putting over 20% down and no debt. You know why? They can't substantiate huge escrow deposits, ridiculous originating fees, processing fees, high interest rates and points added on. They can't make enough money off you to be bothered. So if you have nothing, no money, no assets, bad credit, you are the kind of customer they like,be cause they can make you jump through hoops and take you to the cleaners.
