If I could go below 1 star I would. Was lied to about a pkg. she called a "forever" price pkg. I was to receive all your stations plus internet for $120 per mo. Bill was much higher. I insisted I be given what was quoted. They told me they would for 1 year. I finally reached someone to find out what my mnonthy amt. was. When I turned on TV, they had taken half of the stations I originally had off plus all the sports stations. I have had so much trouble with lying employees, high billings (they want to chg. $59.90 to upgrade!!!), we pay for their Franchise fee as part of billing, etc. I am to the point of hiring an attorney and filing suit. If I put add in local newspaper, it definetly would be a class action suit. Talked to too many people in the county that have the same problems. Not finished with them yet!!!!

it is consistenly difficult to get an actual customer service rep on the phone and each month i have problems accessing the automated system to pay my bill. I am elderly and on a fixed income and my attempt is to pay all my bills in a timely fashion but it is irritating to never be able to get my cable bill paid easily

I say every American needs to know how many different out of country call centers charter uses. over 4 years with charter. and they shut me off after paying $130. and my shut off notice was for only $117. I have spoken to 6 call centers and not one in the USA or even the same as the last. With all the Americans out of work, charter will never see another cent from me!

Does anyone read these. Your customer NO SERVICE STINKS! I asked why my bill went up and was told the movie channels. I said lets get rid of those. The reps Tonya and Manager Calos were just a problem. Tonya did not understand what I wanted to do and removed more than I wanted to if she would have been clear I would have been able to stop her from screwing it all up.after a nearly hour long call no resolution was reached. I am a long time customer that pays in full and on time every time. You can read my full complaint on BBB website. I suggest that we all make complaints. Have been a Charter customer since 1991 . A salesman came bt about a year ago and signed me up for Charter's Bundle ( 2 year) that was to include STARZ and ENCORE . After about a month I was notified b letter that STARZ & Encore monthly fee would increase after the first year. The PROBLEM is that all I get is break-up reception at these channels . In other words I am paying for very poor service . As soon as possible I will switch .

Hello well from all the reviews i can understand why every day i work for charter, and i see first hand of A: charter doesnt give a crap about the employees and B: charter sale reps feed alot of lies and bull crap to the fellow customer and when i get to there house i have to deal with all there lies and try to fix it. Now i will say there are some good techs out there which i am one i will try to help the cust and really find the problem but there are alot of sub contractors out there they are just here to make money and thats it. As for everyone else watch out for the so called deal they offer they are alot of hidden charges they dont even tell you about and i no from well i work for them so just stay away from charter because all there equimpent sucks i cant tell you enough how many times i have been in a house to install a single dct box and what do you no after the 7th one it finally powers on so i hope all you take this advice and just tell charter to fU*# off!!!

I have a billing problem caused by charter and their enept employees. i have repeatedly tried via telephone (only available to the philippines) and the internet chat line (also philippines). i have repeatedly requested to speak to someone in the United States who speaks understandable english and who communicates effectively. i am repeatedly denied my request. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. As a shareholder, i am alarmed at the low level of service provided by Charter After reviewing other dissatisfied customer comments, it is clear Charter has too many problems. Time to sell my stock!

Do not blame employees. Start at the top. President Michael Lovette made 20,345,000 last year. The people we beat on make 16.00 per hour. Guys like Lovette is the real problem.

to whoever it concerns I am a charter customer in florissant,mo. I am so tired of you people lying misleading me into thinking that I have my problem staight and come to find out my problem is not solved I am on the phone right now and have been on here a long time this is ridiculous you all are not a good company reading your reviews you all are not honest people this a dishonest company I have been on the phone three times today with each one lying to me constantly about my package price and what I have i am going to contact your corporate office and my legal attorney because I have been mislead with false information I really hate to take this matter this far but I have no choice and the conversations are recorded we have never been deliquent and never had our services interruputed for non-payment this horrible and you wonder why people leave charterlook at the COMPLAINT files

I rated you very high when it came to working with me, when I needed time for payment on my bill. You always worked with me. The tech's you sent were as good as there training nice professional and tried their best with what they were working with. My pole is over the 250 feet so my signal is not at what is needed. That was over 5 months ago. Still no pole! So I am paying for a service I am not getting. Then I find out they are working on another job today. That would be ok if that work order was before mine. The CHARTER Crew that is the bosses of this portion of charter I WOULD'NT even give them a star!

My family does not currently subscribe to Charter Communications. They do NOT even provide service in our city. However, we are being harrassed by repeated phone calls from them. As we have had our current phone number for a number of years, and are ON the DO NOT CALL LIST, we wonder why they are calling. It is expressly illegal to do so in our state. If you wish to 'get the word out' about your company, please do so by mass mailing, and do it in YOUR service areas. YOU PAY FOR IT. We are NOT interested in paying for, or in receiving solicitation phone calls from Charter Communications, or anyone else. We have been called 5 times in the last week alone. They have called repeatedly on the same day, and do not have the courtesy to leave a message. We are on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" for a reason. We do NOT wish to be solicited. Please consider mass mailing versus disturbing our peace, repeatedly. Mass mailing is a better option than the fines that are required for violations of the "DO NOT CALL LIST". I will be reporting this company to my state's Attorney General. I will also check your site to see if you erased my entry, in an effort to keep others UN-aware. This is harassment as we must pay for our calls, incoming and outgoing. The phone number that keeps calling us has been traced directly back to Charter Communications. Apparently, Charter likes to advertise false information. I've been with Charter for 5 years, and recently received a letter telling me about faster internet at the same price I'm paying. I call them, and everything is good. They put me on hold to get the order ready. The rep comes back and says that unfortunately they can't give me that deal. I would have to pay $20 more because I've been with them for 5 years. Does this make sense? It makes more sense to take care of the customers you've had for a long time as opposed to screwing them AFTER you send the a letter that tells them they can do something. It really pisses me off, and I will most likely be canceling my service with them. How can they run a business like this? You want to RETAIN customers. Not piss all your loyal customers off. Is it logical to say to an old customer "because you've been with us for 5 years we have to charge you $20 more than a new customer for a product WE DON'T EVEN OFFER"? Yes thats correct. The internet speed I have is not even offered by them anymore!!! Screw charter. If this is how you treat your customers, I hope you go out of business.

Charter has gone down hill. Had them for 23 years. and no more. They send poor technicians out if you have a problem. My service in the last year has been horrible. Have to explain over and over. Can not get thru the phone response system easy enough.

I've had an open work order for over 30 days. The 800# keep telling me that they see the order and are not sure why it hasn't been responded to. It seems impossible to reach anyone that can fix this. A huge part of the problem is people in authority are insulated from the end users. I finally got a hold of a person at the corp. office only to be told they only handle residental accts.and directed back to the 800#. They said they had no Corp. Directory to allow me to visit about business accts.. My company sends about $13000 a year with charter and would expect better service.

I had paid my payment by using the automated service, but to my surprise the payment went into another person's account!! I called the customer service because they cut off my service then they told me that the money I paid went into someone else account. Now I was on the phone for bout an hour talking to supervisors and ect. then they told me that I was good and not to worry about it. Well they cut off my service again for the 2nd time so again I called Customer service and went through it all over again they again told me not worry about it that I was fine.. Well then they cut me off again THIS happen 5 times and then they had a nerve to tell me that I owe another payment and couldnt get the first one RIGHT... This is a bunch of BS and I hope that they know I am sick and TIRED of dealing with people in another COUNTRY who dosnt speak GOOD ENGLISH bout my account that is in the UNITED STATES. SO I feel Corp. owes me at least a free month of service for my troubles and for the shows I have MISSED!!!

Worst Internet EVER.My ancient dial -up was more reliable than this supposed high speed crap.One hint,it ain't high speed if it doesn't connect!!!It's not even correct twice a day,unlike a broken watch.It's no surprise that Charter is BANKRUPT!Their service,what service?It (insert explicative deleted here)!!!!!! As a customer,do all you can to drive this company out of business so that your community can get responsible cable in your locality.

Moved to Directv....bill is always the same, service is great....lots of HD channels....cheaper than Charter. I posted a review in July regarding my dissatisfaction with Charter, no reply......pretty obvious Charter doesn't care....

This company doesnt hire anyone one unless they are dazed and very,very confused !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my story is to long. All I have to say is IVE talked with 10 people already and problem still not resolved. Called corp. this morning they promised to fix problem and call me back. To this date noone who has promised to call me back has, so Im not holding my breath. Im so sick And tired of hearing I understand and Im sorry. No they dont understande and no they are not sorry or the customers would not be treated this way
