I would like to say that I love my job but I have just one problem. I believe in being modest in my apparel and I believe that the skirts provided by the company are too short. I would appreciate it if the corporation would consider designing longer skirts without slits in the back for their employees. I greatly appreciate your time and God bless.

A customer of mine (I am in the car repair business and have nothing to do with food service or fast food) told me he recently heard that an overseas company purchased Burger King and all US restaurants were ordered to remove their American Flags. He went to our local BK restaurant in Claremont NH and low and behold out front was a vacant flagpole. This gentleman also happens to be the owner of Patriot Flags, which is a company that sells and installs all sizes of flags and flagpoles across New England. It goes without saying that he is very passionate about the American Flag, and he is a true American and loves his country! He asked to speak to the store manager. When the manager appeared, he asked where the flag was? He was told that there have Ben some cutbacks and they were not allowed to purchase a new flag. He (very loud and vocally) told the manager that he had heard otherwise and the manager reluctantly confirmed what he had heard. On his way out of BK he made sure that the entire restaurant new what he was justbtold including stopping people in the parking lot to tell them that they were about to enter an unAmerican coming that prohibits flying of the American flag. I am wondering if there are any others that have heard this, and does anyone still see a flag flying at their local BK? I personally have stopped going there and if this is confirmed, will never eat there again.

I worked for Burger King from 1998 to 2000 and again from 2008 to March 2011. During 98' - 2000, Burger King was a franchise company and they actually cared about the customers. The store I worked for during 98' - 2000 was well staffed, the managers were friendly and employees were encouraged to go out of their way for their customers. Food was made quickly and efficiently. The kitchen crew was utilized for cleaning tasks during downtime but always had enough employees during busy periods. Everything ran rather smoothly and no one every felt overwhelmed. The parking lot, bathrooms and dining room were routinely taken care of and occasionally mopped or scrubbed as needed. Since then Burger King has gone was taken over the corporate because corporate felt that we weren't bringing in enough revenue and doing things the way that they had wanted us to. This dramatically changed the company. Labor became an issue when minimum wage was increased. The breakfast and lunch shifts at Burger King make the most of their business, so the dinner shift became the scapegoat, therefore instead of having enough staff we were always told that labor was too high and people had to be sent home early. As a result, employees complained about working less than 15-20 hours a week. After the dinner rush is when most of the cleaning begins, but since the rush was over and people were sent home, it was generally up to 2 employees to take care of filtering the friers, a sinkful of greasy dishes some of which were left there from lunch, a fry hopper machine, a meat well, a floor littered with sesame seeds and other random pieces of food because no one had the time to sweep up. So while one person is taking care of that the other person is dropping their own meat, fries, making sandwiches on the burger board and the specialty board for both the in-house and drive-thru orders, while a manager and an expeditor complain that its taking too long for you to wrap, microwave, and mark your sandwiches. The night would get progressively worse as the person who was supposed to finish the pre-close cleaning work would generally get sent home because again labor could not go above 15% even with managers not on the clock because they were salary. The dining room person was generally scheduled to go home before the dining room closed so if it wasn't clean by then the manager had to take care of it. The drive thru had to be stocked up before the drive-thru person went home. Meanwhile breaks were also supposed to be given out to everyone, which generally didn't happen. They gave breaks to the minors because its a legality but generally no one in the kitchen got a break because of the dinner rush and needing to get some cleaning done, if a break was given it would only cause the the closer to fall behind. The specialty board was supposed to stay up until 10pm, but since the pre-closer was generally scheduled to leave at 9pm, leaving only the closer in the kitchen, the specialty board was generally broken down between 7-8pm which we would get yelled at for doing, but the dishes needed to be taken care of because there wasn't time for the closer to do them later. The closer would have to take care of cleaning the broiler which was supposed to stay up until the store closed but was generally taken apart, cleaned and put back together 2 hours before closing. The closer also took care of spraying the floors, wiping the grease off the hoods that covered the broiler and friers, the back of the friers, the shake machine parts which were taken apart by the manager and finally the closing dishes. Basically this meant that if you ordered anything 10 minutes to close you would get a burger that had been marinating in its own fat for over 2 hours or chicken or fish that had probably been cooked before the specialty board was broken down. We were always told that we were wasting too much product, we were supposed to follow a kitchen minder system that constantly told us to throw out product because it had exceeded the hold time settings, rather than keep someone waiting for fresh product to cook for up 5 minutes or hear the manager complain about the waste, often times product was kept beyond its hold time, this included everything, fries, meat, chicken, fish, etc. Also the cash handling procedures were never properly followed and resulted in many unexplained shortages. A cashier was to verify their draw before their shift and before they left, often times cashiers were told to get off the clock before they had a chance to verify their drawers or there were other people in their drawer which was also not supposed to happen. Many times a drawer would be assigned to a manager that had already left for the day, after they had left just for someone to have a drawer or if the drive-thru person was on break. Many of the practices above were never present when I worked for the company as a franchise between 1998 - 2000. If you go to a high volume Burger King chances are that they are a 'show store' or a training store which means that they follow the corporate policies a bit more closely than the lower volumes stores that I described. You can generally notice the difference in the speed of service, quality of food and the amount of employees.

I was hired at Burger King , in New Waverly Texas, and feel i was "let go"for an unfair reason . The reason that was stated , was because I had A week to learn front counter . A different manager (also a potential witness) delivered this message to me, and I was devastated . This was also my first lunch rush , and I am very sorry that i was not efficient in working the front counter's computer properly . I wouldlove to have learned , but I am not given A second chance , warning , or A write up . I received my last check today (1-13-86) and requested my termination papers , to see the official reason for my termination . I was told by A crew member that the reason was because of A customer call in complaint . The alleged complaint was that I was intoxicated , or high , which is A reasonable complain except the fact that it is only an Assumption . I understand that the manager can fire me for any reason , but no paper work is very unprofessional and also the two different reasons lead me to believe that there is more to it . Also , the day before this happened I went in on my day off , because of two no call no shows . The no call no shows are still working there and weren't even written up . All very fishy to me , but id really just like my job back .

My 17 year old was just cussed out because the manager Kumar in Glassboro NJ....wanted him in at 4 instead of 6. He used every curse word out there on the phone with my son. Burger King is notorious for treating their employees like crap. I would like corp. to call me at 856-881-1692

This is a customer complaint about service at store 11973, in Blasdell, New York, address is, s-4175 McKinley Parkway, 14219. This compaint is about attitude given to me about a simple request to have my hashbrowns well done. "Have it your way"!!!!!! please give me a call. I'm not looking for discipline action, only the importance of customer service. A member of leadership should understand how important customers are to any business. I was the only customer in line, four customers in the building, and attitude was given to me for a simple request to have my hashbrowns well done. Please have a member of your customer are team call me. I tried to talk to the Area Manager, but he defended his Manager and belittled me. "I want to SPEAK to a key leader" this is very simple!!!! TEACH the Importance customer service, no one needs to get into trouble. Just make my hashbrowns well done please!!!!!!!!! Please call me. The Area Manager has my phone number. I will call your office Friday morning. I will get this resolved! Thank You, God Bless, Scott

I will call your Headquarters in the morning. Thanks

Efficient and courteous with a pleasant attention to detail; these are just a few words to describe the service of Ra'Shad Deacon (#4644 Jacksonville, FL). He has made such an impression that I make it a point to only frequent Burger King when he is on duty. Ra'Shad isn’t over the top, simply takes pride in his job. Moreover, when you peer through the drive through window he is not malingering with other colleagues. Always focused on the task in front of him ensuring you are in and out while the food is hot! A belated yet well-deserved kudos, please go ahead check him out. Kind regards, J Lewis

This is reguarding your manager in the Stefko Blvd store Nancy. she is a horrible manager, treats her employees like garbage, fires employees for no reason, this is an ongoing problem as I have learned she has been transferred from other stores for this same reason. The friendly quick service is now gone since she has arrived and the workers come and go faster than I have ever seen. It is crazy to wait as long as you do for service there because there is always new people, the ones that have been there for awhile all seem to have gotten fired for some reason or another.. She took a wonderfully runned store and ruined it. Im sorry, she has no place working in a job like this and people are now refusing to go there, Something needs to be done and she needs to go.

I have posted here before. My daughters work at the bk on 15th in longview washington. There is a manager named kelly who told my daughter to hurry up and that being she is a woman she should know her way around a kitchen. Then he told another employee a guy that if the girls needed it.... slap them around......This crap is ridiculous. The head manager a fat woman named marsha is even worse. Is corp. ever going to look into this problem ???????? They both need fired.............

I am a Lead Asst. Mgr. at Bk, Indianapolis, Indiana. I have been with BK for 8 years now. Ive always done the best of my ability, my employees and managers love working with me. Ive been transferred a total of 7 times. Two of those times left at Bk without A RGM. I ran both times to the best of my ability. Dealing with all the things the RGM has to deal with. I did not complain or get paid for the position. Working more than 50 hours a week, for free. The whole 8 years ive been with bk ive missed a total of 4 days, thats great to me, for someone with 3 small children. Now the store im at now, #4948, has went 24 hours in the past year....... Ridiculous!!!!! Ever since this as happened its been hard on all of us that have been hanging in there. We dont even get much business between 1am-6am. (Dario&Crystal) our schedules change so much we cant even plan any personal time, as soon as you do your schedule will probably be changes the next day without notice. Yeah I know, im salary and im supposed to be available anytime. Which mean f**k your personal life! I worked Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Wheres my extra day off?......since I dont get paid time and a half. Requested days off, forget about it. Most of the time im in Bk twice in a day. The biggest issue is my vacation time. Ive been asking for a week vacation for 7 months now, and each im told hold on........until they deal with other issues that have nothing to do with me. I missed my summer vacation with my family, which was reserved, I lost my deposit. That really sucked and my husband very upset. I thought you loss your vacation if it is not take by a certain time. Being the fairhful employee I am, ive been going with the flow. It as gotten so bad to where I dont know what to do or who to talk too, im demoting myself. No one has seemed to help at all. We have personel days we should be able to take...like request forget about it. Who do i go to? How do I get my time, im owed? But we get hounded about labor, drive-time, fast & friendly service, hot & fresh food, and whatever else corporate can think of. You expect out of us, but when we dont deliver, its a problem. But we cant get what is deserved and earned. Ive seen so many fired, hired, quits, and tranfers its crazy. I talk to alot of other managers at diffent location and everyone is getting vacations except for me. Whats up with that?????? I need someone to tell me what I need to do. Im going to get mines one way or another. Bk STOP ABUSING YOUR EMPLOYEES! Maybe ill come to work and do nothing. I bet I get a phone call then.

this is not about taste, service, courtesy, speed. this is about sitting down with my two jr. whoppers and fries to watch football, three bites in, a long hair in my burger. two minutes later, about 1:40 pm, back to burger king to speak and show a manager. it was very easy to find the manager. she was outdoors with two other employees smoking. fine, it,s their break. she confirmed that the hair was indeed in the burger. i was upset since that revealing bite, she asked if i wanted more food, which i did, but i i told her that i would go to the next level with my complaint. she said that was fine and did i want more food. now here is the kick. and i told her it could have been her hair because is was long and up and all over the place. i threw the bag containing a jr. burger and fries. she was left with the hair burger. this just happened to me. i said to her what else falls in to peoples food here. i do know people in the ornange county health dept. i will be speaking to. i do not think this is a big deal, but then again it is.e

I cant belive burger king in Modesto California on Standiford i orderd a bk Bundle. The only thing that was good was the soda. The burgers were cold. The fries were like card borad with salt.I hate them the drive thru person was a wentch. she was rude. She didn't even ask if we wanted diping sause

Visited Burger king in pascagoula, Ms. The service was unthinkable. The staff was cursing using very vulgar language making racial comments about drive through orders. Talking about oral sex, the manager on duty was even one of the ones talking about it. The food was OK,not the best that I've expierenced but I don't see myself going back there with this kind of service there. Sorry Burger King.. I really enjoy the chicken sandwiches there. Guess ill start going to Wendy's..

I work there and they are the worse

Stay away from the burger king on 15th ave in longview washington. There are a few managers who have no business being there. First this short bald guy who was making remarks about some people that were dressed in carharts. after they left he started making fun of them talking in a hillbilly accent, and calling them hicks in front of the customers. His name is kelly. Then you have this big woman who does nothing but scream at her employees in front of the customers. I even overheard her calling them retarded. Her name is marsha or something close to that. I was in shock. Is this really the best people burger king can find ? I will never go back.

I work at Burger King in Belleville/O'Fallon, Il. Since I have worked there at least 3 people have been fired for sexual harrassment. The main manager of the store is the worst one of them all. He has harrassed myself and told another female employee I will provide the fun you just show up. There is also a homosexual that works there that loves to flirt with the male customers whether it be by hanging out of the drive thru window or across the front counter. It is very uncomfortable to work around. He has also left to buy Wendy's chili and left the store with no manager. The female employees I have spoke with have all had hours cut or not put on the schedule all together. We do not get any kind of breaks, I have even gotten told I couldn't go to the bathroom! They talk about african americans but they call them the "N" word and most of them are african american. We are afraid of loosing our jobs and afraid to talk. What do we do without loosing our jobs???????? Can't tell or no more job! Wow!!!

I worked for burger king in Lebanon Oregon from may till October last year.I loved my job and my coworkers. I only quit my job to pursue another job offer that paid more because I have a son I have to take care of. Well when I told my store manager I at first asked her if I could switch to mornings and she said to ask Brandi the assistant manager who said no. So I had to make a decision between jobs and I chose the other job. Well after that I started hanging out with this guy who was hanging out with one of my managers. And when I started hanging out with him she got upset and that's when I found out I had gotten 86'd from burger king. Well I really don't think that they can 86 you from burger king over a guy so I would really like to know why corporate let's there managers base decisions off of drama. Everyone of my coworkers and some of the managers miss me and want me to come back. But I can't because of the 86 and I would love to work there again but there is so much drama.

Went to Burger King at 2682 Candler Rd, Decatur, GA at 9:30am expecting to order breakfast only to be told that today they are only serving lunch. 4 cars drove away including myself. Then they acted as if it's no big deal. You're poor customer service is losing you money and I pray that you don't sit idly by and be part of the problem by not addressing the matter. Burger King is now on me "do not patronize list. Hope you choose to get it right and become part of the solution! dknbluz21@gmail.com

I visit #5202 in Memphis,TN on Hickory Hill Road on 1/1/2011 @ 3:51.
