Absolutely terrible service. No one is willing to help and the good proof is bullshit

I'll keep it simple. Bought a bed with frame. Was told to take a day off for delivery. They "forgot" to load the frame on the truck per customer care manager. They assured me they would deliver the next day. Took another day off, received automated message that delivery would come, waited, no call on day of delivery, so I called customer care and guess what.... They "forgot" to load the frame on the second day as well. At this point I have lost 4 times the amount of income than the bed costs. Never do business with this company, they are terrible.

brought two bedroom sets from bobs april 2012, both needed to be serviced for broken footboards and rails, i set a cup of coffee on the night stand which now has a blemish,i didn't buy the goof proof so im stuck with it. u really get what you pay for the next purchase ill save up for better qualilty, not happy with bobs at all. and i sure let my twitter and facebook friendknow to shop else where

assolutely the worst company to purchase anything from.Pretty showrooms ,candy & cookies,wonderfull sale people ...ALL BULL----. It is nothing but a scam,do not purchase from them,go to a reliable store macy,jc penny,bj, These stores will honor there commitment.

This whole process was a complete disaster! More than a month ago we contacted BOB's about furniture that broke while moving only about 4 inches. It was purchased less than a year ago and we have had the complete run around from the company. A "Bob's" technician came out to check out the problem and took pictures of the broken items. He said the items were not fixable and that the one of them had damage internally. He told me that we would be called within 48 hours. NO CALL. I had to call the company to find out what to do next! So they told me to refer to GOOF. So I had to call guardian myself and set up an appointment that took them a whole month to get out to see us. Meanwhile my son has been sleeping on the floor. So guardian came out today and it was THE SAME GUY that came out the first time that supposedly worked for BOB's too? What kind of weird crap is that! I was so upset! He had already said the first time that it was not repairable and now he had to retake pictures on his cell phone and give it to guardian? I have never delt with such poor customer service and crazy policies EVER! So now we are waiting once again for BOB's to contact us with new furniture, but the tech. guy who was limited English, didn't say what they would be replacing or what the time line is. This is totally unacceptable, especially if the furniture is not repairable and is less than a year old! I am ready to tell anyone who will listen how awful this was and never use this company ever again. This to me is sad because we have used them in the past with no problems. What should have happened is after the guy came out the first time he should have known that the furniture was less than a year old and they should have just taken care of it then!

Purchased a leather sofa, a leather loveseat and chair/ottoman 3 weeks ago. was told at time of purchase that the chair ottoman would 6 wks before delivery. paid for delivery and extra bobs coverage. 1st delivery rejected, 2nd delivery rejected (with exeption to the chair/ottoman which suddenly came at the two week mark, probably took the one of the floor and delivered it) now waiting for the third delivery. 2nd and 3rd delivery, dates were established but somehow they lost the info when contacted for delivery times, days added to each. was told no refund of funds (even though purchase was done on mastercard) only store credit. we paid in good faith but continue to get screwed. they have refunded our delivery fee, but still have not delivered a acceptable product.

We spent over $1000.00 on a kitchen set and it was delivered damaged.A tech came to my home and did nothing to fix the problem cause he said there was nothing he could do. im on the phone now wating to speak to a manager and i have been waiting literally for one hour and thirty minutes. The customer service is the worst i have ever experienced. I will take the time out to take bobs to small claims court if that is what it will take to get my money back!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN!!! NEVER

Today Bobs is here for the 5th or 6th time to fix my electric bed. Each time they send the 'necessary part' to my house and then i have to call for an appointment for the serviceman which always takes 2 weeks though i have advised them how ridiculous that is as it it MY BOBS FAULT that they keep sending the wrong part/parts Today they sent the wrong part again!! 5th or 6th time-dead serious!!

On two seperate occasions I purchased two pieces of expensive furniture from Bob's and also purchased extended warrenty packages. I tried to file a claim on the leather couch and was told it wasn't covered. The second purchase was a high top wood table and chairs. Again, I tried to file a claim for scratches and was told they weren't covered. SCAM! They sell the warrenties, get our money, then laugh all the way to the bank. Stay away from this company. Bob is a loser.

Very very poor service,I will never buy anything,from BOB, Stoughton Location MA, I bought Dining table set, In march 2012,before ordering I made sure when it will deliver, they check and ask me that it will be deliver in April end, On that base I book my order & paid in full, In my last inquiry they says that it won't deliver before June 12, 2012 !!! I am not sure they deliver it around that date or not?

5/4/12 I just returned home from Bob’s discount furniture in South Portland, Maine. One of the most disappointing experiences ever. The sales person that approached me when I went in was horrible, arrogant and assuming. I was wearing nice jeans and my Harley jacket with a Harley cap. I could tell she didn’t think I was going to buy anything by the way she was talking. She definitely had an attitude. I was prepared to buy a recliner and a Queen Bobopedic mattress as I had looked around and had heard good things about the memory foam. I looked at a Bobopedic recliner first, sat in it and said I’d take it. I asked if they would deliver it free and she got real offended and said we don’t deliver free it will cost 60.00 (59.95). She used the excuse that they don't stock anything there. I said I wanted a mattress also and asked if they would deliver free if I bought both and she said "$59.95 for the chair and the mattress would ride free" and chuckled. I wasn’t laughing. I looked at the $399.00 mattress but it was too firm but they don’t make it in a plush so she suggested I try the next step up which was $599.00. I liked it and said I’d take it, when she said "in order to protect the warranty (19 yrs) I would have to buy a moisture proof mattress cover." I asked if they’d throw it in since I was spending over $1000.00 for the two pieces and $60.00 delivery. She said NO that it was $70.00. I said I could find one for less and she said if it wasn’t a Bob’s cover that it would void the warranty. I said you’re kidding, that’s quite a racket. There was a couple with a child waiting for her to wait on them and she said "do you want it or not?" I said no and she said "then just the recliner?" and I said "no I’ve changed my mind I think I’ll keep looking." She tore up the paper she was filling out and stomped off to the other people.Never said goodbye or hope you come back or anything, very rude. The worst salesperson I ever met. Bob’s is not only NO DISCOUNT but also NO PERSONALITY< NO SERVICE and NO SALE. They not only lost the sale, they also lost a customer, I will never set foot in there again and I’ll warn all my facebook friends to steer clear of Bob’s. Ed G

Poor craftsmanship on all furniture. The shelf life on any furniture is short and you will be stuck with bad furnuture even if you replace it. They need to be closed down. DO NOT BUY AT BOBS.

As long as I breathe I will NEVER shop at another Bob's. The customer service in terrible. It has been one headache after another with these people. We purchased a couch, a love seat, two lamps and a recliner from the Niantic store. We set up a delivery date in the store at the point of sale. We then received a call from our sales associate, Aundrea, confirming our delivery date. She said we would receive a call the day before, giving us a four hour window for delivery. We never got a call. My husband checked the delivery tracker, nothing. He called the store and got Jeff, the manager. He informed us that we were not scheduled for delivery until the following week. Mind you, we had taken all our old furniture to the dump and had nothing in our livingroom and it was three days before Easter. I had 13 people coming for the holiday. He said there was nothing they could do for us, "Aundrea is new and doesn't know what she is doing yet". You have got to be kidding me! He also said we could come pick it up if we wanted it for the weekend. He would wave the delivery fee. How generous! Needless to say he called back and said it would be delivered by Friday. When the furniture arrived (all but the recliner which would be delivered at a later date) one of the lamps was broken. They sent us another lamp and when it arrived the lamp shade was dented in several places. We called for another lamp and when it arrived, same thing. The shade was all dented. Called for another lamp. We were told that this would be the last lamp we would receive and if it's damaged we needed to pick something different. We were told the lamps were packaged right there in the store and they couldn't understand how they keep getting damaged. Really?! When the last one arrived the box was torn open on one side and you could see the crumpled shade inside. Unreal! I even have a witness. My friend was here when UPS delivered it. Then to top it all off, we get confirmation that our recliner is due to be delivered. We were hopeful that this was going to go smoothly. HAHAHAHAHA!!! Wrong again!! The delivery guys show up in the pouring rain with a RED chair. We ordered TAN! They called Customer Care (what a joke!) and I was told I had to call the store in order to straighten things out. So I get Jeff on the phone and he tells me, "Aundrea ordered the wrong color. She thought Bordeaux was tan. That chair doesn't come in tan, only red, blue or chocolate. You will have to come to the store and pick out another chair or go on-line and choose one then call me and let me know which one you want". We went with a refund. I know people make mistakes but they NEVER apologized or even tried to make amends. You can be sure that everyone I know will be aware of how Bob's employees treat their customers. Very, very poorly!!!!!

I went to buy LIVING ROOM set and paid cash FOR my elderly aunt, #1- they never called us ahead ( like they said they would) - #2 -delivery people never called from our phone to confirm delivery #3- on top of that 2 missing throw pillows,- #4- called customer care dept- WHAT A JOKE! -they thought it was funny, to the point that someone gave me a fake name (bcuz when i called back to speak to that rep. they were confused and said nobody by that name there- UNPROFESSIONAL!!!) #5- GOT IN TOUCH W/SOMEONE WITH SOME IQ- NAME HANNA - she was concern with my problem which at that time -she took care of the missing pillow that will be delivered within 6wks bcz they r out of stock(seriously?????) I had asked her to transferred me to complaints dept. which honeslty I know that she wont even submit my complaint to anyone. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAD WITH ANY FURNITURE STORE & TO THINK THAT I WAS THE ONE REFFERING THEM TO MY FAM. MEMBER..GUESS WHAT....NEVER AGAIN. WE SHOULD BE COMPENSATED SOMEHOW... NEEEEEEVER AGAAAAAAAIIIN!

We bought a dresser for our son 15 months ago. The bottom left hand drawer kept popping out of the track. We called a service tech to come out several times to fix it. Every time he came I would express my dissatisfaction and he would reply "that is just the way it is. It is made to pop out like that." Finally I had had enough and expressed to a CSR that I wanted the hardware for the track replaced. Of course by that time she said the warranty had run out and we would have to pay for it. Fine, Ok, so I would pay for it. She set up another tech to come out and look at it to get the part numbers, etc. to order. A different tech came out today than in the past and took one look at it and said "It is broken, you need a new track." Really!? That is what I have been saying for months. Anyways, he calls customer service, and now get, this...per CSR..."the dresser has been discontinued, there is no part to order, and now the tech has said it can't be fixed, so there is nothing more we can do for you." And of course...the trade mark words they always use... "I am really sorry." Please don't patronize me with sorry anymore when I have been mislead for months. Unbelievable! If only 0 stars was available.

Beyond disgusted with the customer service I just received in the Attleboro mass store by an associate by the name of Jennifer. Because I was in everyday clothing with flip flops with my two little childrene I was followed around my entire visit. They sure know how to make you feel comfortable I mean the last time I checked bobs was basically a middle class furniture store "correct" I wil never step foot in another bobs store again. Rest a sure I will be letting family and friends know. I truly regret spending my hard earned dollars with you people I felt be litted embarrassed as well as harassed. Thank you once again for making my shopping experience wonderful

The worst experience ever!!! Purchased a high $ entire bedroom set, was on back order for 3 weeks. Got rid of all the old furniture in order to make room for the new. The delivery came as scheduled but with the wrong parts to put the bed together, 2 end tabkes were damaged 1 of the lamps was also damaged. Was told everything would be REdelivered in a few days. Once again told a new delivery would be made in a few days. Well before the new date we get a call from the store saying our headboard would not be delivered for another 2 months. We already have the headboard! Try calling them HAHAHAHAHA you get left on hold for 20 minutes unless you press 1. Paid $200 for delivery took 3 days off from work and still do not have what I paid for. Now sleeping on the floor for 2 weeks. Never again!!

I ordered sofa and chair with the care package. I did not pay for the chair in full until they fixed the cushions on my sofa which were way too soft and wrinkled to be new. They sent a person to asses the cushions. I later found out that he reported that there was nothing wrong with them. I called customer service and they sent another person out for a second opinion and that guy agreed that the cushions were very flat to be new. Then it took almost a year to get new cushions, by then they called numerous times to get me to pay for the chair which I flatly refused until it was resolved. The customer service women called to tell me the chair was ready and available to be delivered and I paid it off. Days later I didn't hear anything so I called for an update, that's when they told me the chair was out of stock and gave me a refund on my down payment. Now I have only a sofa. They should have been more efficient and took care of my sofa and then they would have gotten the money for the chair and we both would be satisfied.
