This is the worst service ever we had the glass break alarm going off every time we shut the doors then when we call after several false alarms to have some one fix it they wanted to charge us a service fee plus if the equiptment need fixed we had to pay for that too. We went several months paying for a system the we did not turn on. We contacted adt about the salesmen cons telling us about discout programs that we did not recieve finally we contacted them to shut it off now I got some collection agency calling asking me to pay 1300 dollars for service we used for two months. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS I WISH I COULD SUE FOR This please read all contract before sign they only give you 24 hours to cancel TOTAL RIP OFF..

This company ADT was aired on our local News station in Milwaukee,WI. The couple stated that their house was broken into and that the alarm was sounding but the response and verification that it was not a false alarm took over 41 minutes and the burglars had more than enough time to steal possession from three different floors in the home. Bogus! How is this protecting anything? What are we paying for? I am outraged.

JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW THAT ADT SALESPERSON TRIED TO GET INTO MY MOTHER'S HOUSE BY FAST TALKING AND WOULD NOT GO AWAY. SHE IS ALMOST 100 YRS OLD. NEIGHBOR CAME OVER AND FORCED HIM TO LEAVE AND THREATENED TO CALL POLICE. JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW SO IF THEY TRY ANYTHING WITH RANDALL,S DAD. MY SISTER CALLED ADT AND THEY SAID THEIR SALES PEOPLE ARE COMMISSION AND THEY HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THEM. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH AN ORGANIZATION LIKE THAT.

I started my ADT services February 2011 my complaints are many but the two main one's are as follows: (1)ADT'S Advertisement for 2 free months was never acknowledge no matter how many times I called. (2)The Alarm permit is included in my contract but was billed from the City for $75.00 which I paid because ADT never would take care of the matter, never giving me to a supervisor and never returning any calls afterwards. Now I refuse to pay they have taken me to collections I have ask that ADT make good on the word and then I will pay but I was told by a representative that I will have to sign up for another 3 year contract this is ridiculous of course I said no. These are scam artist, ripping consumers off and not praticing legitimate services there needs to be a class action lawsuit if so please contact me

Don't understand how the company can stay in business with the lack of customer service they provide! Price Gouging. I could write a book here. They dont even provide the window magnets so that you can leave them open in a secured position!!! When I asked for the extra magnets to do this, they quoted me $35.00 each!!! For a magnet?? This is after I have already spent more than $800.00 for the system. DOES ANYONE CARE???? NO!

This is by far the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I am so sorry that I did not read reviews before I purchased a system less than a month ago. Don't get involved with ADT. I am about to sue them for breach of contract for not providing me with a working system.

Warning - - so far in our first three months relationship with ADT the service is horrible. They told my wife and I that they would not charge us for any changes to the hardware (relocation of purchased items)during the entire time our contract was in existence. I asked this question becuase we began service at the same time modifications were be started at our home. Then our alarm went off during the first 30 days and they did not call to verify we were ok for 1.5 hours. After that time period elapsed, I finally called and asked why they were not monitoring their system? I was told a tech would be out in a week or so. When the tech came out to look at the system, I asked him if he could disconnect two sensors while he was there. He told us not problem, but we then received an invoice for $175.00 for the service call to disconnect the sensors. I talked to our sales rep three times (with many more messages in between) and she told us that she would take care of it. To date - no credit issued against the service call and we are now receiving late notices that state "they will stop monitoring us soon if we do not pay in full". I spoke to three different people at the customer service department to no avail. The only offer I was given was to reduce the bogus invoice by 50%. Why would I pay 50% of something that was told to my wife and I would be included during the entire contract period???? My synopsis is: 1. No customer service whatsoever. The representatives I talked to at customer service did not even offer to speak to the sales rep and investigate the issue or find out what she promised us. My question - how can they attempt to charge me 50% if they put no effort in to find out if my statement is true or not?? 2. The sales Representative completely misrepresented the service that would be provided at the time of signing. 3. Inconsistent monitoring of the system. I expected our system to be monitored as promised in the contract. 4. Complete Misrepresentation (promised the first month would be free, which was also apparently a lie). I am very disappointed with the service and incorrect billing. I may be pursuing legal action to break our contract and reimburse us for all monies paid. John Herrera

ADT IS THE WORST COMPANY ANY ONE CAN HAVE. MY SYSTEM HAS BEEN DOWN FOR THREE WHOLE WEEKS NO ONE HAS CALLED ME. I'VE BEEN DOING ALL THE CALIING. THE ONLY THING THEY CAN SAY IS "I SOORY MA'AM" THIS IS BS. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP ARE VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I WILL NEVER REFER ANOTHER PERSON TO THIS COMPANY. THEY SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS FOR THE TECH TO COME OUT AN NO ONE SHOWS NOR CALL TO CANCEL. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. POOR MANGAGMENT, POOR CORPORATE OFFICE, AND POOR REPRESENTIVES.

Customer Service is non-existent at this company. The best they can offer is "I'm Sorry" over and over again - A lot of good that does when your alarm is not working. I was told that I would have a service technican at my business first thing on a Saturday morning for which I was willing to pay the additional service fee. I called 7:30 am Saturday morning to confirm the appt. and was told that we were 1st on the list. No-show at 8, no-show at 9, no-show at 10. Several phone calls and all I could get was an "I'm sorry." Exactly what time do they start service calls? Now Monday afternoon - still no service technican. Already shopping for new company.

I had 2 houses and one of them had alarm service from Pinnacle and the other one was alarmed by ADT. I would always get a call from Pinnacle whenever the back door was opened or anything that required them to give me a call and check if everything was okay. I have never had any billing issues with them. I am very satisfied with Pinnacle and feel protected! On the other hand, ADT is charging me my monthly dues even though their cellular tower connection does not work! They are even charging me 75% of my regular charge as early termination fees for canceling their service (even though it does not work). Their technician has come to my house 4x to try to fix the communication but it does not work. They will not refund me even though they cannot fix my problem ADT customer service is very rude and their manager does not even return your phone call. I am glad that I have Pinnacle and I will be switching over my other service to Pinnacle as well! ADT is a waste of money. They are greedy and will not help you out!

this is the very worst service you could possibly have they are just scam artists and will not try to resolve any kind of problem or compromise with you they use outside contractors then try to lay everything off on them i would like to tell anyone who is approched by some one selling adt service run as hard as you can away from it

I have been with ADT for two years now. My system stopped working today. They said it would be a week before they can get anyone out. They don't care that my business is without an alarm. In addition they said it was a separate issue that I have to deal with billing regarding the problem of them billing me while i am without service. This is BS. If I can afford it I will cancel my contract. I absolutely will not renew.

ADT is by far the worst company I have done business with! I had the sales representative knowck on my door, which I was reluctant but signed a contract and had given her a voided check so that they could draft my account monthly. The representative stole my routing and account nubmer and paid her own credit card bills with MY MONEY!!! I told ADT and all they said was they were sorry, but I signed a legal contract and I cannot get out of it without paying astronomical fees. I HATE ADT with a passion! Its so Ironic, I'm paying for a security system from a bunch of theives!

After signing a new contract in July & paying the annual amount, I have been receiving multiple invoices for an additional charge. Each time, I have called Customer Service & received a different response. Then another contract arrived in the mail with no note or instructions attached. When I called Customer Service to inquire, I was told that there was no record of the previous contract I signed and that I needed to sign another. I was assured that once I signed & returned the new contract, all would be settled. However I just received another invoice. This time, I tried sending an email to Customer Support since I wanted a response in writing. I received a return email instructing me either call Customer Service or to send another email through a diffreent portal. I am now ready to cancel. If Customer Service is so poor on a relatively simple issue, what can I expect if I really need service?

This is the worst service in the world! A senior rep just hung up on me! I will never do business with them again. Once my contract is up I will cancel everything ..and they make it so they FORCE you to do business with them!

Someone from corporate better get in touch with me soon, or we'll be talking with lawyers and starting a lawsuit. I am very displeased with the runaround and non-existent customer service. If corporate america continues this game of take without asking and provide nothing in services, then corporate america will wind up like the Roman Empire!!!

Do not buy from them. They do not care one lick about customer service, and will not do anything about any issues you will have. I have been fighting with them for about 3 weeks now, and they are doing nothing to help resolve the situation. They even ruined our brand new house, just built, and dont want to pay for the damages.

I called to transfer my service 7 months ago the area Rep shows up 3 weeks later to connect service, he tried to charge me some ridiculous amount. I told him no so he suggested I(myself) sneak into my previous location and take the hardware. Secondly a tech called me a month later saying we had an appointment to do the install in 30 minutes I said I'm in another state. I then called to cancel service 2 months goes by another person calls saying he's from ADT but calls me by the wrong name I replied "you have the wrong number" and he says "are you sure?" So after all that I checked my banking statements to find out that ADT has been chargng me the entire time. I called ADT and they cant find any account for me, I have faxed over to them 4 times my bank statements proving ADT withdrawals. Come to find out they contracted my account out to a DEFENDER SECURITY John Gibson(specifically)what does this say about a company like this?

I have been with ADT for about 15 years. Yesterday I was supposed to have a representitive come to my home between 3 & 4 PM. We wasted the whole day and no one ever showed up or called at all. Calling the company back, I got a very appologetic Tony De Larosa after spending 15 min talking to menus and being on hold. He said he did not know what had happened and that the person who was to show up was Bob Russo from their Colonie, NY facility, first thing in the morning. As I sit here, still no response from them. It is my recommendation to any homeowners to try Protect America as they are aggressively trying to gain new customers by offering friendly and available service. They can be reached at 800-951-5111.
