i recieved a letter of a late payment and i talked to several workers and told them that i was going to make the payment that weekend. i recieve multiple phone calls a day. they have called my house harassing my kids and have constantly called my bosses phone while im at work and its getting ridiculous. i have rented from them for the past year and they know that i am good for my payments and even as of now im only behind one months payment. i just recieved another call after being told that it was noted that they would not call me anymore. and i refuse to make my payment if i continue to be harrassed every 2 or 3 minutes. this is not the way a business should be constructed and if this continues i am afraid i must go further with my actions.

"TRASH!!!" On June the 2nd of 2011. My husband and I went to Aaron's Rent to own in Gonzales LA. We bought a whole Queen Size bedroom set, a sectional sofa, table and 4 benches for the kitchen. along with three pictures! Yesterday June 8th I get a call from thier so called manager?????????????? Keon. Demanding a payment or he would have to come pick up the furniture. I told him fine come pick it up, because the first payment was not due untll 6-6-2011. His deliveriy people get to my house, he calls them and told them just to leave everything there. I said HELL NO!!!! They were going to pick up every piece of furniturne right then. One of his delivery people said that this sort of thing happened all the time. The delivery people were very polite and took th Furniture and left. I called this KEON person back and told his he was going , I told hime NO your not, You emarssed me in front of all my neithbors!!! I told him that I was looking for a lawyer and he was so nice to Me then because HE KNOWS I"M NOT PLAYING THIS COMPANY WILL BE SUED!!!!!!!!! I PRETTY SURE BY NOW HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE CAN DO WITH HIS FURNITURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO IF YOU SEE AN AARON'S RENT TO OWN, RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!!!!!!!!! FIND YOU ANOTHER RENT TO OWN AND FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aaron's Furniture is one of the worst places I have ever been through. Rent-A-Center treated me so much better like they were so happy to have my business Aarons (after I got the TV) treats me like crap when I call or go in. Rent-A-Center was so easy to make a payment Aarons you have to call this 1-800 number that cannot help you do crap and doesnt know how to make payments or you are talking to a complete moron who puts you on hold for forever because they need to get a manger to see what they need to do about taking a payment!!! Rent-A-Center is the way to go for anyone who is looking to get furniture without credit at least they treat you right and try to help you unlike Aarons I will never use them again and tell everyone as much as I can how bad of a company they are.

I'm so sick of arrons I bought a computer there supose to be a tricore turned out to be a duel core when I politely asked the guy how we could reslove the issue he called me a liar then had 4 other people from the same store come out and call me a liar. I have 3 whitness who saw and heard everything. I refused to pay they called me and threaten me (against the law) so I explained to them again why they are not getting money and yet again they called me a liar over the phone threaten to have me charged with theft (go for it) I cant wait for them to take me to court yes there may be a contract but I was signed up because of false info and because of this my contract is null and void. Bring it on Arrons this is a legal war lets see you lose the battle. I will post my vidio from court when all is said and done. PS consumer fraud is a crime and whe need to all step up and put a stop to these companies ripping us off.

i had purshed a computer had never been late owed one payment i fell behind cause i got laid off loss my unemployment they would not wait for the payment when mother got her social security to pay it off .... i tryed renting a washer same shit happened except one of the employess was hitting on my daughter im sending it back not dealing witrh there shit un proffseinal all the way never again would i rent from them

i had 5 accounts with arrons in lumberton texas, i have paid off 3.. i have 2 small accounts left totaling 160 a month for the both of them.. a few weeks ago as i was paying off my third account, a new manager was working with me.. something about him rub me wrong, i didnt like him from the minute i talked to him.. i normally like everyone and i am a people person.. he was nasty and rude and made comments that we not related to the account.. i had both of my teenage girls with me and he made them nervous as well... after i paid off my third account i became late on my last 2 and i called to talk to them. again this larry guy was nasty and rude.. he continued to call my house my job and all my friends.. he told my refrences all my business not just if they knew how to reach me.. i called and talk to a lady manager at the store and i told her i know i am behind and i aware of it, but can i please deal with someone else i just dont like this guy..he is a big guy and i am single mother and live alone and he just makes me nervous.. i explain to the lady that i was having some medical problems and i would do my very best to pay .. she said she would work with me and that she understood i again explain to her to please not let larry deal with me.. she said you can deal with me and i understand. one night while i was at work my neighor called me ( i work a late shift at my job ) it was well after dark about 9 or so and he said there is a guy in your driveway and he is yelling knocking etc .. i was like ok i have no idea, when i went to pick my girls up from my mothers they said mom that larry guy came by granny looking for you. very weird.. when i got home there was a arrons note on the gate and it was signed larry.. i told her i didnt want to deal with him, and she sends him to my house.. if he makes me nervous and i dont like him and he makes my kids nervous why would she send him to my home and after dark at that.. i am pissed.. i understand i am late and i know they have to do there job this isnt about being late this is about her sending him to my house.. i told her and corporate many times i didnt like him and i was uneasy around him and she sends him to my house. i will not stand for this, i feel like they put me and my kids in danger.. when he was talking to me that day you could see the veins in his neck and head popping out that is how mad and rude he got with me the first time i went in to pay off my third account.. and he is a real big guy.. i will not pay arrons another dime till i talk to someone else, i dont think they should have sent him to my home.. they should respect my safety a little more then that.. that is how arrons in texas does business..

The store on Military and Westgate in West Palm Beach is the worst. They are deceptive and they don't honor the terms of the agreement. The charges are way overpriced and they do everything to keep adding fee without your knowledge. I think people need to stay away from Aaron's rent and don't do any business with them. I will report them to the BBB to report their illegal business practices.

Another victim of Aarons here. I want people to know that you have the worst business practices of any so called corporation I haved ever dealt with. When you are one day late on a payment you call 4,5, up to 6 times in one day. People do have jobs and are away from home. One call is sufficient. You are worse than a bill collector at harassing innocent hard working people. I have called the BBB and the phone company and asked them what to do with your harassing phone calls. I have told the people that work in your so called store that there is no reason to call after one time of leaving a message I will never deal with Aarons again after being a customer for many years. It is unfortunate that some people have no choice but to deal with a crappy company such as yours but dont make them miserable when they maybe late a day. You are not open on Sundays and when my payment date falls on one you can bet that at 5 minutes after 0800 am on Monday Aarons is calling my house wondering where my payment is. If your that worried about it I suggest that you should be open on Sundays so we can pay our bill on time. I honestly hope you go out of business

I rented a 65 inch flat screen TV with the stand, the store manager of the Tullahoma, TN store had told us that he was putting both payments due on the same day. Well we thought we were paying the TV and the stand off together. Nobody ever told us different. The store manager is no longer working there, and it has been 3 months since we paid of the TV and stand. We have not received a bill or heard anything from Aarons until just recently. They hired a new store manager and since she started we have received multiple phone calls. My husband has went into the Tullahoma store twice to try to get this taken care off and both times the new manager wouldn't get off of her butt from behind her desk in her office to come out and talk to him. So I went up there and she did the same thing, she refused to come talk to me. So I am asking how am I supposed to take care of this when she won't get off her ass and talk to me. If you ask me this is very poor customer service and not a very good way for a store manager to treat customers. I have been doing business with Aarons for the last 6 years, I have purchased many items from Aarons. That is all over now, after the way this new store manager has treated us, we will never do business with Aarons again.

Rented a laptop from Aaron's, it's paid off now, but had some issues with it, they said to bring it in and that they would take care of it. Well come to find out they took it to a local place and the place wanted to charge $300.00 to get it fixed. Got it fixed elsewhere, but went back in because I had noticed they forgot to give me my battery charger, they said they would find it. A month went by no call or update from them. Went back in, and they gave me a chewed up battery charger. It didn't charge the laptop very well, but enough to use it. SO yesterday DH called them back and they were asking all sorts of questions as to who chewed the cord up, and who threw it away. He went in the night before and returned the charger to them, they are the ones who threw it out. DH called Aaron's today and people there like to play stupid. Verrrry frustrated Customer....

We are currently renting an appliance from the Bennington Vt store and there are only 3 people there who know what customer service means,the 2 who do the deliveries and Phil Sausville. We have only been late one time and the Regional Director Craig calls us and screams at us over the phone. The manager in that store, was when I was employed by the Rent A Center in that same town a customer in the store I worked in and she was constantly late with her payments,however when I called her she proceeded to scream at me about calling her because her payment was late. Then she would send her husband in to threaten us because we called her.If Aarons is such a great business, how come they hire managers like this one who works in the Bennington store after the have been charged with embezzelment from the former employer they worked for. That is just what I would want working at my store, someone who already has been charged with EMBEZZELMENT.

my husband and I have a TV from Aaron's and we pay every month on time but becuz we talked to them telling them we will be a couple days late they still call and harass us telling us no we need the money now or we will go to your house and take the tv and calling at least 20 time since the 1st we will never get anything from them again there customer service sucks and they are rude it crazy

i purchased furniture from a store called Premiere. i paid off my accounts on time and had the certificate and reciet to prove it. do to some embesellment issues the company was bought out by aarons. they called me randomly to say they took over pemier and i need to come sign new paperwork with them i told them i dont have any accounts mine are closed out. they said ok no problem - come get new things. so i did, well apparently NOW they are saying i owe for the PAST items from the company they took over and they wont honor the account close out they want me to pay AGAIN for items i have already paid for. i refused to pay double but had no problem paying on the current items i got. they said then they will pick up everything. they lied their way onto ft polk army base where i live and came to my house saturday at 8am which is before the store is even supposed to be open, they took all of my furniture even the items i paid for in full. i will be going to JAG on monday as well as making a complaint to the post command and as well as BBB and the attorney general... DO NOT SHOP AT THE AAORNS IN LEESVILLE LA...DO NOT DEAL WITH ROY he is a sneky liar and has no problem even lying his way onto a military base!!!

I need to speak to a regional manager for my area in regards to a situation that pertains to an account that I have with the Arrons. Located at 1906 W Main St. Artesia, NM 88210. I have been repeatedly contacted by an employee at that location that is rude, very disrespectful, and seems determined to harass me. I have been a loyal Arrons customer and I have never been treated in such a fashion. I expect contact with the regional manager immediately!

well i have been reading all of the complaint against your company it amazing that you are still in business.I know you just consider me another pissed off customer but i feel you don't care about what any of you customer say.I think the media needs to get involved once the media becomes involved guest who will be pissed off (U) I am taking my story all over the RADIO & TV because business like you need to be put out of business my story will show not only dishonesty, misleading, fair business laws, just like all the other pissed off customer.WELL GOODMORING AMERICA!!!

I thought I was getting a BRAND NEW DELL LAPTOP COMPUTER!(LIKE OUT OF THE BOX NEW) NEEDLESS TO SAY I DID NOT!! NOW NOT ONLY DOES THIS COMPUTER HAVE SECRETIVE RECORDING DEVICES ON IT THERE HAVE BEEN MANY POP-UPS TELLING ME THAT THERE ARE SEVERAL VIRUSES ON IT!! I DO NOT GO TO SITES THAT ARE KNOW TO SPREAD VIRUSES! IE...PORN SITES...HOROSCOPE SITES.. TAROT CARD READING SITES!! JUST TO NAME A FEW!! NOW I AM REALLY ANGRY TO FIND OUT THAT I AM NOT SAFE IN MY OWN HOME!! WHO KNOWS WHO IS WATCHING ME!! WHEN I TOOK THE COMPUTER BACK THE FIRST TIME THE MAN AT THE LOCAL CARTERSVILLE AARON'S TREATED ME LIKE CRAP! I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER! PAYING FOR A COMPUTER THAT IS NOT SAFE FOR ME TO USE! I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY MORE PEOPLE HAVE THIS SAME ISSUE BUT I FOR ONE WILL GET MY MONEY BACK AND BUY MY COMPUTER OUTRIGHT!! IT IS A SHAME THAT I CAN'T FEEL SAFE EVEN TYPING BECAUSE IT RECORDS ALL THE KEY STROKES! I AM HOPING THAT THE COUPLE THAT HAVE STARTED THE LAWSUIT IN WYOMING GET THE BIGGEST LAWSUIT AMOUNT THAT CAN BE AWARDED!

I leased a Dyson DC14 from Aaron's in Kent about 2 weeks or so ago. The minute I first started it up, it made a really LOUD noise! I figured maybe I was doing something wrong, however that wasn't the case- it continued to do it since then and I called yesterday and spoke with Tom. He stated that I could bring it back, they can either swap it out or match the price for a DC25 Animal- Rent-A-Center has an Animal DC25 for $59.99 per month for 12 months. Why would I be paying $60 for what I have now that makes LOUD noises??? I took it in a little bit ago, only to have to take it back home with me! Jason, I guess he is a manager, stated that he cannot do anything until someone comes back tomorrow- he said he could send it away to have it looked at or I can just give it back. Another gentleman stated that if I go to Rent-A-Center and have them give me a print-out of their price on the animal, they'll match their price. If I am going to travel Rent-A-Center, I might as well just buy from THEM! I will NEVER rent another thing from your company and I'm also contacting the Ohio Attorney General's office and the Federal Trade Commission.

We had gotten many things from them back in 05 and we now took and got a washer and dryer from them and they took there time getting us an dryer but we still had to pay for it and not only that we now can not pay for it and they want to call all the time because we have taken and told them that we need them to come pick it up but they said that they will not because we have not had it 6 mths and if we don't keep it that long then they will take us to court and have us pay so what makes them think they will get there money either way if we can not pay now, why oh why do they need to be do rude if some one cant afford something they should be able to send it back with no penalty.Called corp but as usual they only took info to send to the management team but as usual they need to get a hold of the kingsport Aaron and then they will go from there but that means they will take sides with them so how can anything get resolved..ughhhhhhhhhhh eratated

Aarons is full of crap they are liars and threaten their customers something needs to be done cause the buisness jus sucks period. I am returning their items and I hope they run out of buisness cause I see everyone hates them out of experience.

O and I'm from corpus the store is on port and the rude ppl are Aaron or darren he's such a bad employee!! He threatens people and compares family to their furniture I'm sure I ain't the only one but I will call n complain till something is done and they are shut down
