I have just experienced THE WORST EVER CUSTOMER SERVICE at Wallgreens at 1619 50 the street. The manager Tanya Easterwood and Ambria Park were very rude, lackof any skills to manage customer experience, they even went as far to question if I am not some kind of low character customer, their inventory is ABSOLUTE MESS (today is December 12) and none of them knew hot to accept an item that I decided to return after 30 minutes frommy purchase. I spent more than $160 and my returning items were around $30 and I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY and with SUCH INCREDIBLE AROGANCE as I was by these two incompentent and rude Walgreens employees. I WILL NEVER AGAIN enter this store. Please, someone, go check on this store...they advertised prices are not what they run through their register, they could not find an item that I was returning on my itemized bills that I brough back, it took them 40 minutes to process one return because of this ABSOLUTE MESS IN THEIR INVENTORY! The manager is so incomptenent...obviously, it does not required much tact, logic, attention to detial or critical thinking skills to be running one of the LOW QUALITY DISORGANIZED STORE> THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER> Ambria was very rude and arrogant. When I started to have problems with this return and I had to wait 30 minutes, I started to think of complaining about these incompetent employees and turned on my phone. I HAVE THE ENTIRE 10 MINUTES RECORED AND I will make sure to share it with the entire world. UNBELIAVABLE HOW RUDE AND DISORGANIZED THIS PLACE IS>!!!!

To: Walgreens Corporate. My name is Rosa Fash. I worked at Walgreens 02330, Newton MA. I was hired in April 24/2009 to November 26/2010. I am writing this letter to communicate some problems at store 02330. It is very important that you read this letter. During this period of time, I stared working in cosmetics. The store got a new manager in February 2010 his name is Jim McCarthy, a few months after I did management and inventory. I stared opening and closing the store once a week and taking care of inventory among others. I thought I am going to get help from the store manager, specially the days where I had to work on scan outs, but no, instead he had me running the store, doing fotho, scan outs, saturdate and totes. At first I Thought that this problem is going to change when he hires more people. But, I was totally wrong. I never said this is a lot of work, no; my question was why only one person has to do it all, when the store has four or five people more. At this store you never going to see the managers working, or training the people so they can do a better job, when he hired a new person I had to trained and I was very happy doing this, my question is: Are managers here to work or do something or, they get paid just because? The managers at this store do not work as they should do. They really never care about doing something to maintain the store neat and clean, I never got help with the stockroom so it was very hard for me to do my job, every week was exactly the same problem, for example: during my two day off, nobody care about smart counts, after two days off I had a lot of items to count, they never work totes, never, One day I asked for help, this was after 4 months and McCarthy got very upset and I was insulted. He is very rude, he does not know how to communicate with his co-workers, and he said that he is the store manager and nobody is going to tell him how to manage that store. In some days he schedules a lot of people, but nobody works, and when I was there he wanted me to do all the job, this person really shouldn’t be in charge of that store. The other managers never work either, they waited for me to work the scan outs so that way I pulled the merchandise needed on shelves. This is why that store is much disorganized and customers are complaining all the time. Because this person never learned how to do his work, as a result all the employees do whatever they want, it is very hard to make them work, and he does not care. I had to work all the totes; otherwise they would remain in the stockroom. Even with all these problems I tried to do my best, and I did it, one day someone from the District Office came to give me more information about scan outs, how to work the reports, and said that I should not be in charge of the store when I work the reports, so, I talked to McCarthy about this and he got upset, he said to me” That is not true, I decide how you work those reports and you have to do management and whatever I say at the same time with scan outs.” After this I knew McCarthy does not care that much about that store. I wanted to take my one week vacation as everyone else did to see my mother , but, McCarthy said to me that I am not able to take those 6 days together , He also said to me that if I want the job basically I needed to forget my mother, that someone else could take care of her. But, he could give one day off per each week, so I never had those days. He is very flexible with everybody else about vacation, never said no to other people. His version was that he had a discussion with the district manager; so he ends up telling me that if I want that week off he could cut my pay. Finally, he never gave me vacation and I never get paid for those days. I expected that pay in my last paycheck which I received on December 2nd. Only because I needed help, he said that everybody was very busy , that is totally untrue, I saw them doing nothing as always; he also said to me that if I don’t like it I can go home. In that moment I was forced to quit my job, I had no option. The manager before was very helpful and they taught me everything about the store, this new is good to insult people, he can do something only when de district manager is visiting the stores, at least he pretends it. You can prove my testimony by checking the cameras. I am accusing this person of discrimination, verbal harassment, for violate my rights and for intimidation against me. After all working at Walgreens was a very nice experience, I wish I could’ve done more for this store but we never had a team work. I am a hard worker; I never called out, not even when I was sick. If I wrote this letter just to inform you of this situation and, I am very sure that this can be a better place to work at. Thank you for reading this letter. Sincerely, Rosa F.

I work at a doctor's office...it is ridiculous the process is so time consuming and annoying to call in a prescription. First you have to listen to your ads, then voicemail to tell what button to push...#8 and then you get the human who tells you she's too busy to take the presciption..."please call back and leave on the machine. Process starts all over again and we have to be put on hold to listen to music. I have started telling my patients to use another pharmacy. You don't even stock the easier prep...Halflightly!. Need to do a littler CEO undercover would help this company. sullymona@aol.com

I was raped by Walgreens!!!! I purchased a prescription for Ciclopirox Topical Solution 8% November 1, 2010 in Houston Texas. I was charged $100 for 6.6 ml bottle. I found that I could purchase the same item for $23 at Kroger Pharmacy.

I myself have only been with walgreens so far 1 year. (store #09940) Not sure how much longer I will last. I myself feel pretty bad for all the costumers who complain how we never have any of the featured items that are on sale. They have to realize though that it's not our fault ,it's the vendors fault and the stock/shipping fault. We want to sell the sale items trust me...but half the time there just isn't enough to go around. Those flyers are made months in advanced! As a consumer myself, yes id be a little upset too but what about when CVS or RiteAd doesn't have an item you are looking for? I have to say though i really do love helping people and i love my store. I don't mean to brag or sound like the best employee ever, but if i know for a fact that we have a certain item in stock even though it's not on the shelf i'll get it for you. Elder costomers, i'll bend over backyards for you if you need help. If we don't have a certain item, i'll even call another store to see if they have it and even ask if they can hold it for you. But then again, that's just me. It's a shame how not evey employee is not willing to help and even then i'll try n pick up their slack. so come to my store in plainview new york =)

I recently was FIRED from walgreen In new jersey after working there for 3 years in the pharmacy dept, before hand I was always accused of helping the customers too much and speaking "GHETTO" never knew a new york accent was ghetto , at times being yelled at by my assocaites to do something else in the middle of me helping a customer? I know I went the extra because I cared about all the customers even the ones that had a bad day because ( who wouldnt after being in an office for 2 hours ) and when I said 15 min for a RX i made sure i would get it out on time , I was let go for aparently being late here and there. but yet me staying 1 hour after my shift to help them didnt count ? I can in my own believe most of these claims because I seen it myself and been treated like that as well , best thing to do is to go to cooperate even if u can reach them there .

We just had someone charge $217 on our debit card at a Walgreen's. You would think that they would ask for I.D. because of the large purchase amount but obviously they didn't. Now we have to go through the claim process with our bank to (hopefully) get our money back.

I am wondering why wallgreens is building all these sites and not using local people to do the work everywhere in new york i see nj plates it cost alot of money to live here you expect us to shop at your stores but dont hire local people to do the build outs. NOT GOOD BUSINESS. I work in the building trades and cant even bid work in my own town and have to look at people from another state and another country for that fact do the work we shouild be doing. I for one will be going to the press and any place else i can for the word to get out!

I went into Walgreens to fill a prescription to treat Herpes, and the Pharmacist laughed at me and threw in a complimentary tube of Cortizone cream. That is not very professional and I am offended. My husband didn't tell me about his "situation" until after we were married and I don't appreciate being ridiculed for it.

I called Walgreens to ask if I could get my meds. filled at the Aberdeen N.C. location, I usually get then from Rockingham N.C. Walgreens. Well I called 2 times did not get your recorded sales pitch but on the third try I did get the sales pitch. Finally spoke to someone in the pharmacy. Before we finished the conversation she was no longer on the line my phone or hers i do not know. Called back listened to the flu sales pitch and finally someone answered, spoke with her she wanted the RX number I said again I said I have already gave it to you she said I am not going to argue with you but she would not shut up long enough for me to give her the number. I told her she needed to listen. In all my days I would NEVER even consider arguing with a paying consumer!!!!!I will not get my eds. filled at walgreens (notice lower case) again after this. I spoke to the second in command Stephen. I told him about the phone and the pharmacy. He said "Idnt know wats wrong witht doese people back there". "We be havin complaints all da time". Very professional I was really impressed. He said he would check the phone at least. Is the first question on your job applications idiot check yes or no. The right answer must be yes!!!

theres a homeless shelter in Marlbough Ma ROLLINS HOUSE that is in need of clothing for the homeless Is there a way Walgreens will Help the homeless with some close & food .Im hopeing with the cold winter coming on. Someone will reachout to help theses people . GOD BLESS YOU

If I could have put up 0 stars, I would have. My husband ran out of diabetic test strips while on a trip and went into the Garden City, KS Walgreens to get some. Well, he stood at the counter waiting to be addressed by the gal, she looked at him and as he was getting ready to speak, she turned her back and walked away. He was still waiting while 3 more people walked up and she waited on them. Keep in mind, my husband is a well dressed, and good looking man, so it wasn't that he looked dangerous, the only difference between him and the people she waited on and the rest of the staff at this store was he was white not mexican. That is all we needed to know. Needless to say, we will not step foot into another WALGREENS again. And the plant I work at has companies nation wide that will get a email first thing tomarrow morning from me stating my opinion of WALGREENS.

I am so disgusted with Walgreen's that I will NEVER set foot in one of these stores again. In the past, they have given me the wrong prescription, made snide comments regarding the medicines I was taking and the pharmacy staff openly talked about my medication and laughed at me when I said something in regard to their behavior. I had one pharmacist jump up and down and and act like a child when I was trying to get my medication and it wasn't ready. Now, the kicker. My Doctor's office called in 3 prescriptions for me with a refill. I went to refill and they told me I did not have refills, it required approval. This began on Saturday, two of the three are dangerous to quit taking suddenly. So I called my Dr. office this morning to get it straightened out. I was unable to go to work because of this. It took 4 calls for them to finally understand what was going on. This began and 9:00 this morning and it is now 5:00 and there is still one they haven't finished with. I don't get their problems. I am reporting this to the proper authorities since you don't care.

I have stopped going to Walgreen's for one reason: The incessant "push" to sell candy at the checkout counter every time I go there! One cashier at the Edina, MN, store on France and 49 Street keeps pushing it even after I tell him no!

I went to Walgreens at 3182 Memotial Highway Dallas Pa. 18612 I had injured my ankle and could hardly walk, I entertered the store and there were two females one working the register (Katelyn) the other just standing there (Kelly) I told Kelly I had a bad injury and could hardly walk, (I only had one shoe on) I proceeded t to tell her I needed an ankle and foot bandage. She infomed me they were in next to last isle all the way in the back of the store. I informed her it was hard to walk that far. Her response was well that's where they are. I painfully went back to get it and as I was leaving the store she was outside smoking with another female (not in walgreens clothing) leaning up againest a car. I commented That her manager should be aware that smoking was her priority instaed of aiding a customer and that her manager and the corporate office would have feedback from me. She gave me a not so great look and turned her head. This is very uunerving as we have 4 major phamacies in tnis general area. As a professional as a Hearing Health Care Provider I see many seniors all day long, so she should be curtious and helpfull. just because I was in jeans and a baseball cap.

9805 Discrimination against non_african american. Interviewing afican american mainly, and hiring mainly african american, four in the last two weeks. Writing people up left and right. People who have been there for years wanna leave, customers not liking the changes they see per my infor from co-workers and things observved together.

Walgreens is hiring unqualified pharmacists at an unprecendted rate. They're going to get someone killed. A north Indianapolis location filled a prescription for my sister's son who was a victim of assault. He had several teeth broken. The script was for mouthwash. On the bottle the pharmacist said to "Gargle and Swallow." That sounded strange, so my sister looked up the administration directions on the internet which very clearly warned: "DO NOT SWALLOW!" THe result it was explained would result in severe vomiting. His jaw was wired shut. Severe vomiting would have caused him to choke to death. The pharmacist maintained it was just a typo, as IF IT HAPPENED TO BE NO MORE THAN A MISPLACED LETTER. IT WAS AN EGREGIOUS ERROR THAT COULD HAVE SENT THE PATIENT INTO FITS OF VOMITING. My experience with Walgreens in Williston, FLorida: My script VERY CLEARLY stated 30 units of pills with 5 refills. It was filled and only 3 refills were listed. Upon being confronted with the descrepency when it was noticed two days later, the same pharmacist looked up the original script, changed it to read 4 refills (It should have been 5) and gave me another refill later without changing the refill amounts on the bottle. I never requested a refill, but took it anyway in order to settle the matter. Later I learned she contacted the doctor's office who said she called to see if a patient (Me) was trying to scam her into getting more refills than the script called for. It created absolute chaos. The Doctor's office manager wanted me to sign a statement saying I would adhere to ALL script refill quantities in the future. I refused and told them what transpired. After some investigation by the doctor's staff, I was cleared. They aplogized. I told them to stuff it. The next day an argument occurred between me and the Walgreen pharmacist who threatened to call the police. I left, made out a sign that said, "Walgreen Pharmacy hires incompetent pharmacists to comply with Affirmative Action requirements," and taped it to the tailgate on my truck. Both pharmacists in my case and my sister's case were black. Walgreens is going to get somebody killed by forcing their AA hires on the unsuspecting public. I'll never shop there again.......at any location. I'm not going to risk being killed by an incompetent person, because the greed mongers at Walgreens want to be politically correct.

Have been getting my prescriptions from Walgreens for almost two years. While there, also purchased other items.......The store is on Leopard Street near Corpus Christi TEXAS........... The last time I went there to get a refill for medication for prescriptions for seizures........Called and was approved......However, when I went to pick up. I was told the doctor did not approve. Why, I asked did you tell me it was ready to be picked up and now Dr did not approve.............Phamacy Tech person said, We called the doctor and asked which refill to fill, the one by him approved or the one that was filled by another doctor. They told my primary doctor I was getting the prescription ffom two different doctors. That was true. When I was under another insurance company which was HMO, I had to go to only provider doctors. When I changed Insurance and became eligle for Medicare, I had to see a different doctor. My doctor followed with a letter and also called previous doctor and said for me to find anaothe health care provider. My Lawyer told me to write you and let you know of the problem first. He said I needed to file commplaint with Corporate, then he would take it from there and file suit. I had a seizure days later from suddenly stopping the medication. I was trying to call my Humana Ins Co to get a new doctor and emergency visit. If you need to contact me, you can email me first. Then I will provide my address and name of the Attorney representing me. I have never been back to Walgreens again (6 months a go) and I WILL NEVER BUY A SINGLE THING FROM WALGREENS AGAIN. New doctor suggested a new pharmacy as she said other patients had similar problems........... dsemer2010@yahoo.com Dorothy Haufler

When shopping at a Walgeens in Pennsylvania in September 2010, I went to a register to purchase an item and used a Credit Card . the sale was approved and I realized that I didn't want to use that particular card. I asked the cashier to cancel the sale and I would use a different card to make the purchase. I refused to sign for the present purchase and she was unsure how to void the sale. She called a supervisor in the store and I was told that she would have to turn off the present register and not to worry, and that I would not be charged for that SALE. I was then told to go over to another register and make my purchase there with the other card. " GUESS WHAT " I was charged for both sales-Even with out any signature on the first one-I contacted the Corporate Offices of Walmart to speak with someone at a higher level-told my story-was told some one would be calling me back. Do you thing anyone has called me back?---NO--- I will attempt to speak with someone in authority again- Then consider LEGAL ACTION-- My opinion of Walgreen Corporate/with regard to Customer Service is They don't realy care about customers OR they are dishonest

I have tried to deal with Walgreens at 4 different locations over the last five years, but I have left on multiple occasions due to bad service at the pharmacy departments. Due to my disability, my insurance pays out over $1,000. A month for my various medications. Yesterday was the last time I will ever use Walgreens. The pharmacist on duty refused to give me a legal drs prescription for coumadin which I require for my massive blood clots in my lungs. I have had this same prescription in the past and it is very difficult to balance the INR levels at first and multiple scripts for different degrees of coumarin must be written by the treating doctor. Your very young and inexperienced pharmacist refused my necessary medications saying that I could not get my presrition filled for a NEW dosage of coumadin if I was dropping off a prescription for a newer dosage of coumadin. This outrageous. I will be on this medication for the rest of my life and I will have to take various dosages of this medication as my INR levels vary from week to week. This is not the first or second time that I have been harassed or discriminated against by your pharmacists. Your staff at most of your stores has shown me to be incompetitant of filling a simple workers compensation prescription. I have been called by your stupid automated telephone system to inform me that my prescriptions are ready for pick-up, only to have my wife drive me to your store and find out either it was not ready or your staff in the pharmacy department placed it under the wrong insurance. I have been forced by your staff to pay cash for my medications and then get reimbursed later after they have fixed their mistakes. I have been wrongly charged a co-pay for my medications when it should have been processed through my workers comp. Insurance. I have been given the wrong prescriptions and the wrong amounts. I have called this line to complain before, but no one returned my phone calls. You have just lost a thousand dollars a month business from me and my insurance carriers.
