Went to Popeye's in Lincoln, Ne at 5955 N 27th st on February 3rd, 2013. It was 7:15pm , thought they were closed as the menu sign outside was not lit, but lights were on in the building. An employee asked what I would like to order, told them the menu sign wasn't lit, no words, someone walked out and said they for got to light the sign, he turned around and went back and asked for my order. Asked for surf & turf, no shrimp so I ordered the 9 pieces of chicken for 10.99 and this is a 3rd time in 6 months that I have ordered chicken that there is no business, but still have to pull up and wait 5 min. or more for my order. Also, the outside is fine on the chicken, but when you eat the meat next to the bone it has this foul smell, such as dried blood or not fresh chicken. Most times the meat is pink by the bone. The young folks are neither apologetic or sorry, even have spoke with a manager that sounds young and this goes nowhere, this is why I write to you. Also, why I waited for my chicken, another car pulled in behind me, pulled up to the window, whatever they wanted they did not get, drove around my car and went to Taco Inn that shares the same building with Popeye's. Another car came to order, they left, also. In the beginning you were great, but feel someone is not keeping an eye on your business and does not care enough except for the week;y check. Won't be returning again.

Bad food

I recently went to Popeye's and the chicken was not done did not know that until I got ready to eat my lunch at work!! This was at the Filmed road store in Long view ,Texas. Also visited the. One in Shreveport Louisiana wanted a poboy shrimp sandwich and he told me they bread was frozen so order something else!!! And visited one on Marshall avenue in Long view and they never acknowledged me even being in store and never waited on me so I left and so did other people.

Worst Place ever!!!!!

I went to the Popeyes Chicken on Cameron Rd today and I thought maybe if I get my food a little sooner than before they close it wouldnt be so bad. Boy was I wrong, the bicsuits are hard, the red beans and rice are hard and the sweet tea tasted like it was old! There was no straw and no plastic ware to be able to drink or eat my food. It is almost as if you have to be straight out of the ghetto to work there. The people talk in slang and are rude and extremley unprofessional. The times I tried to call and speak to a supervisor someone would pick up the phone and just listen and then put the phone down and keep it off the hook. I will just go to Churchs Chicken right down the street who seem like they have more common sense.

Today is 10/30/12 I went to store #1318 and was beside myself. An employee rolled out a barrel similar to a trash can to a storage closet behind the drive thru. He emptied 3 bags of flour into this open container while smoking a cigarette. After he finished he placed the unsmoke portion of his cigarette in a brown bag and rolled the uncovered flour between the cars in the drive thru back into the store. This is not a sanitary way to restock the flour used for cooking. I feel he should have put the unopen bags of flour in the barrel rolled them into the store and then open them once inside. Seeing things like this make me appreciate cooking in my own home. This location should be sited for unsanitary handling of food. By the way I did take his picture. Nasty buzzard.

I reside in gaffney, soth Carolina. We do not have a popey chicken restaurant . We are govern by bojangle and Kentucky chicken. I believe that it is now time for popeye chicken to.come to South Carolina.recently, a poppy restaurant was opened in concord, North Carolina and I heard the their was lines of people waiting for popeye chicken. So, please look into coming into soth carolin and I am sure that your company would also benefit from the many people are would be grateful, happy and quite pleased with the fact that you would be making hundreds of people so happy and satisfied. Please consider this. Many thanks and many blessing.

I went to your branch in Columbus Ohio on 5th Ave on 10/13/12 at3:55 pm ordered dipping chicken which is advertised for 3.99 what I received was a box of fries and 5 so called pieces of batter no chicken just skin no sauce for 5.88. Are you serious. I will make sure to spread the word to all my friends and make sure our business goes across the street to Churches Chicken where you can at least get what you pay for.

Worst service at the State St Rockford location! Poor service, disresectful and dishonest. Orders wrong and took too long. Unsanitary packaging-threw my chicken in the big bag with no container/holder.

You're location in Oceanside, ca on north river road is horrible. The manager (female) called my husband "fool" and was a complete B word. The food wasn't ready for 45 minutes and they mixed the Mac and cheese with the beans! Disgusting.

i went to the drive thru and ordered 3 chicken strips and fries, I was told it would be a 4 minute wait and to pull around to the front of the building and my order would be brought out to me, as I was sitting in my car I saw 2 other people walk into popeyes within 5 minutes of each other and walk out with thier order. I saw a employee walk out twice to 2 different cars and give waiting customers thier orders. 4 minutes turned into 15 minutes and known one came out with my order. I got out of my car, went inside and ask for my money back, the clerk did not even apoligze, she said my chicken was ready, I said ,I did not want it,because I had to wait to long. The service at this location is very poor (Clio Rd Flint Mi). The first time I came here I was told I could not get the special because the chicken was frozen, and this was 1:30 pm on a sunday afternoon UNBEIIVABLE!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to see what it takes to boycott all your stores , i read all other reviews and you really don't care , no american people working there....

i notice in the san diego area you don't hire african americans , and if so very little ,, why is that my son put in an application and was told not hiring, in one week there were mexicans working who really couldn't speak english. also the food at college area in san diego is very bad ,, I'm going to speak to the black leaders in the community about this ,after all we patronize your store more than any nationality. maybe we shouldn't eat there...

I totally love Poppeyes Chicken; however here in northern Utah, there is nothing in Ogden Utah. Out on Hill AFB 10 miles away there is a fantastic one but if you're not a DOD employee, you cannot get in. There is one in Salt Lake City 49 miles away and when we actually go that way we stop. There is a fantastic building in a Kroger's grocery store (Smith's) that has great access, lighting, and over 10,000 cars a day pass by. There are well over 500 customers here who are tired of greasy KFC, who'd love for you to come to town. I am on facebook

this, in response to a qesution about whether she supported Clinton or Obama and referred to Obama: He would probably not last long, a black man in the position of president. They would kill him. I just finished watching a film called Fog Of War , sub-titled Eleven Lessons Learned by Robert McNamara .It's clear from that film and also from my own reading of history, that American Presidents who oppose war are vulnerable.I learned something new from the film by Errol Morris at least it's new to me, or I forgot it: in early October 1963, after consulting with Kennedy, Robert McNamara announced publicly that the United States would withdraw from Vietnam completely within 2 years. Just days after that, Kennedy was killed. It's becoming axiomatic in a way, that the men and women (Hillary C. e.g.),who favour beligerance are backed by some sort of hidden power within the U.S. Those who oppose war are vulnerable. The American people would like to elect a Peace President. But men in the shadows behind the scenes would kill him.

I love popeyes but I think they might be doing something to the food in Burbank,CA. Also in Hollywood, CA on Hollywood Blvd. they lie about the prices and try to overcharge.

The store in Pasadena , Maryland sucks . Especially Deepa , all she does is yell at her employees and makes them pay money to her . She literally tells them she is better than you and he is better then you . There are leaks everywhere . Oh , and when we drop something on the floor , she makes us use it later ( Even chicken ) . She uses the left overs from the night before the next morning , because we are a " low volume store " . Think of how many other stores do that . Popeye's is terrible and i never wanna be associated with it again EVER . And what's up with all these foreign people working these places . Like i want some decent American managers , even if there black . Call this number 410 - 439 - 4781 ; tell them how " wonderful " they are , because corporate doesn't listen . They probably won't even read this . I WILL NEVER EVER WORK OR GO TO ANOTHER POPEYES RESTURANT AGAIN . And why aren't there no stars , popeye's doesn't even deserve one !

WE NEED A POPEYES IN THE MCALLEN, TX AREA ASAP. I DONT WANNA DRIVE TO LAREDO, TX TO GET MY CHICKEN. PLEASE HELP!!!!

AUGUST 14, 2012, 11:15am at store #4727, South Fontana, CA Walked into store, server (Stefhani) took my order, which I repeated more than once, since she seemed to have a hard time understanding, and left the counter to ask for help. My order was for 4 (four) pieces of chicken and two sides. My only request was for NO LEGS. I took my order and drove home (9 miles), opened my bags to find 4 LEGS, PLUS 2 BISCUITS AND 2 SIDES. I called the store for an explanation and was told by Stefhani that she miunderstood. The manager, who has a very thick latin accent, could only offer for me to return to the store for a correct order. What is your responce?

I work at the popeyes in Lincolnwood, IL at 6321 N Lincoln Ave and I've been trying to get a hold of corporate for the longest time to no avail. My managers are not equipped to handle the day-to-day operations of this location, concerning employee relations, and I've tried to speak with their managers to no avail. The stuff that goes on in this store can surely not be popeyes standards for conducting business. I can't go into much details because I'm on line but if anyone knows of a number or individual who handles these affairs I'm sure they would be very interested to take to me about this particular store. Please help anyone!

My family and I live in Louisiana, so of course we have always loved Popeyes Chicken, but lately we have picked up chicken at the drive through in Pineville, Louisiana three separate times and every time we could not eat the chicken. It was so overcooked. It was so dry that we couldn't even swallow it. We tried three times because we thought that maybe it was just a mistake, but now we know that actually that is how the cook the chicken everyday. I am sorry to say that we will not be visiting that franchise anymore.

Indianapolis has a wonderful Popeyes and the staff its always well mannered and dressed appropriately. Kerp up the good work
