My name is Carolyn Wright, from Atlanta,Ga. GICIO increase my rate on my insurance without letting me know. They also started taking the higher rate from my checking account without permission. Then when I asked them to stop the automate pay. I was told I had to pay up my police for 30 days. This is bad business, these terms were not discuss with me when they enrolled me. I think GICIO can improve there customer relations with clients. But most of all, they need to start being up front with their customers.

geico does not uphold the customer service motto businesses are spose 2 abide by. When obtaining geico as my insurance company I was never asked by the agent if I had any customizations on my vehicle. I was under the impression that full coverage covered customizations. Well wen my vehicle was stolen geico refused to reimburse me for my stolen ystem even they I produced proof of the customization. They told me the agent who set up my account was supposed to ask me if I had customizatiins and since they didn't, I would hav to b penalize for the negligence of their representative. I've spoken to the regional manager, who claims to b the vice president. And I was told the next point of contact after him would b corporate. He told me that the agent that told me that mis-informed me and that he is actually the last point of contact. This proves that their agents have the tendency to mis-inform customers. I need someone from corporate to contacct me be fore I switch companies, go to BBB with this or even go as far as to file a suit against geico fore their negligence and breach of duty. 301-213-6451

THIS IS THE WORST NOSY COMPANY I EVER SEEN I OWN HOUSE IS BRONX THAT'S RENTAL INCOME AND MOVE A COUPLE OF WEEK AGO UPSTATE NEW YORK. THEY TOOK THE WRONG STREET ADDRESS AND SENT IT TO A COPY HAVE COPY OF EMAIL. WITH THE INCORRECT ADDRESS I TOLD THEM TWICE. SAID THEY FIXED IT NEVER DID TIL MAIL WAS RETURNED AND GOT SUSPICIOUS BECAUSE ME LEAVING IN THE BRONX THAT I ATTUIDE I GOT. AFTER GIVING THEM MONEY OVER THE PHONE 165.00 THEY SWITCHED ME OVER THE UNDERWRITING DEPT. SPOKE TO A GIRL NAMED JESSICA D. AND TOLD ME MY KIDS WERE ATTENDING THE BRONX SCHOOL WHEN I NEVER TOLD THEM!! I NEVER MENTIONED ANY OF MY KIDS THERE SMALL 5TH 6TH AND 2ND GRADE AND A BABY. SO, I SAID HOW DO YOU KNOW WHERE MY KIDS ARE GOING TO SCHOOL AND LIED SWITCHED THE WHOLE STORY AROUND SAYING THAT I SAID THAT WHY WOULD I MENTION MY KIDS SO THEY CHANGED THE WHOLE STORY AROUND NEVER TOLD ME WHERE THEY GOT THIS INFORMATION FROM I THINK IF ANY LIVES IN BRONX HIGHEST PAYING NEW YORK THEY WILL AND SWITCH BACK UPSTATE NEW YORK TO THE BRONX I HAVE ALL THE PROOF THEY NEED THEY NEVER ASKED!! BUT I THINK IF THESE PEOPLE HAVE TOO MANY QUESTION GOING TO ANOTHER COMPANY STATEFARM, PROGESSIVE OR WHATEVER AWAY FROM THEM IF THEY HAVE SO MANY QUESTION NEVER SPOKE TO HEAD OF COMPANY GEICO!!! Good afternoon, Added a car in December - policy renewed in January - reps and "managers" state I requested to have my information sent via e-mail. NOT true- e-mail has been on file three years - when car was added i was given one price - bill came another amout - policy renewed another amount - of course each quote increased. I received a term letter for a grand - told I was receiving the bill via mail -....uhhh what happened to my bill being sent in regular mail? I contacted two other ins companies - why are they cheaper than Geico? I inquired about geico headquaters I was told by a rep they could not give the number out...is this company serious? I am so disgusted to the point I will be breaking a ten year realtionship. Im leaving a number just to see if I get a call back 443-204-7200...my expectations are too high...I doubt if i get a call back!

This is the most terrible insurance company. I have been a customer for many years and now that the economy has changed for the worst so has this terrible insurance company. I mailed my payment into GEICO only to find they reported not receiving my payment. Having said that they raised the insurance $500 and completely negated all previous payments made the six months prior and now I have accumulated an extra 3,000 for this insurance. I of course was reported to the DMV and had to pay the amount due for non-compliance of the state law that applies to not having your vehicle insured. I cannot obtain any other company to insure me at this time, since I am now considered a "high risk". This was plainly a ploy to make me pay a higher premium and retain my business simultaneously for an insurance company that leaves a lot to be desired. If GEICO treats their long-standing customers in this manner only you know who or what can save the very new customers.

It must be mentioned to those who are in need of moped insurance that I have found Geico Insurance rates the best online. This is even after I was given 1 point on my driving record. I have found the customer service reps by telephone to be polite, professional and helpful. Thanks Geico and keep up the good work. That little gecko is gak.

I never had any problems till recently I realize that I never was given a discount 4 my son death grade point average I get swype talking to many operators nobody would give me a credit I have tried calling corporate nobody answers isohunt the information 1 year ago and was told they have no record I think 500 dollars is a lot of money and I can't get anybody to credit my account I am going to get other quotes sands nobody act I call will help me

Wow... I never knew how many bad Reviews gieco has. This is ridiculous. My husband called about a quote and they changed my premium (In the middle of my cycle) from a premium of 484 to a premium of 1076. What the hell??? #1, unless changes are made, the premium is NOT (its in their policy) suppose to be changed until renewal time. They like to screw people over. I've beenw ith them for almost 6 years and have been having problems the past 6 months. I only stayed with them becasue seniority is SUPPOSE TO BE A GOOD THING. Not for this company. They suck. They don't even take responsibility for mistakes that THEY'VE made. THIS RATING SHOULD BE A NEGATIVE 1000 STARS.

This Geico Representative did not take into account the true facts about a vehicle incident involving my 97 Cadillac Eldorado even with the statement of a witness in which my son was involved. They questioned him so many times that his story about the non-reportable accident that they did not pay the claim to fix a simple busted bumper. The individual that caused the accident on Jan 22, 2011 on a Saturday afternoon swerved and missed a Toyota SUV, gained control of his vehicle and the right side of his vehicle slammed into my Cadillac on the left side below the bumper knocking it out of place. Technically it looks like my son hit M. Fuller's car who works at a Tires Plus location in Stafford VA but he actually apologized to my son in my presence for causing the accident but Geico still did not pay our claim because Mr. Fuller Lied. I will not recommend Geico to anyone or much less getting work performed at Tires Plus anywhere.

First of all, I am a senior citizen of 77 years.SHAME ON GEICO...Are the CEO's blind to the underhanded practices of their employees????...As in days past, they all should be tarred and feathered and thats really too good for the kind of peopple they are. This country already has a full house of greedy crooks in our nation's capitol, we don't need them in our ins. companies. I became aware of a ""100% SERVICE CONNECTED VETERAN"" who has benn lied to and then passed from one liar to another in order to gain""50.00"" how low can they go?? Surely,they need to be investigated for their practices. But I have found that word of mouth has broken the back of many weasels,and at my age, I have been witness to this happening.some times, slowly but surely.Alert your family and friends to this snake in the grass.....Is anyone surprised the CEO's don't read this?BUT LOSING POLICY HOLDERS WILL GET THEIR ATTENTION SOON.

four car accident, three of them geico customers. four weeks, no settlement or offer. adjusters not calling back (vacation?) storage fees, car rental fees stacking up what do the stockholders think of this? faster settlement means lower cost... do we need to hire an attorney??? this would certainly jack up the rate! no wonder car insurance is so expensive! more paperwork to file complaint with dept of business regulation!! rhode island

PROBLEM: I have an automobile policy with Geico and: 1. I have paid them in full for a one year policy on 1/17/2011, via a credit card; 2. I have an ROBO-CALL/auto-caller (recorded message), calling daily (sometimes twice per day), stating that I must pay immediately or my policy will be cancelled; 3. AS I STATED IN ITEM #1, ABOVE, I HAVE ALREADY PAID IN FULL REQUEST: These auto-call/ROBO-CALL (recorded message) phone calls must be stopped, immediately, as I have paid in full. I would think that a national company such as Geico would have a better technology team that would not harass their customers like this. I would believe that Geico, a national company, would know what's it left and right hand were doing so that I do not have to be harassed, daily. PLEASE STOP THESE ROBO-CALLS, IMMEDIATELY.

I called Geico for a quote on a new policy in the event that I separated from my husband. The associate I spoke with Katy Rodriguez asked me for an address. I told her that I did not move and do not have an address to provide her. She stated she needed an address in order to process quote. I gave her an address of a complex that I had been thinking about checking out but had not even seen. Anyway, Ms. Rodriguez proceeded to say at the end of the conversation that she was going to send me an endorsement for the separation. I said wait a minute. I'm not separated from my husband, I was just inquiring about a quote and how I was still residing in the same house with my husband who was upstairs. Ms. Rodriguez stated he was upstairs so we are not together. At that point I was upset and had asked to speak to a supervisor. Patrick then came on the phone and told me that this is their policy, that when you mention it, they automatically create two separate policies. I proceed to tell him that I thought the policy was stupid. I was told since I called and asked for a quote based on being separated that they would send me a separate policy from my husband although this is not what I had wanted at that time. I told him that this policy will cause more problems in a relationship if all of a sudden you have two separate policies. Patrick then proceeds to ask me if I wanted him to send the policy to the new address (the apartment complex that I don't live at, but just provided address because Ms. Rodriguez insisted on having one). I told him no that I don't even live there that I live at the same house my policy has always gone to. Ms. Rodriguez later called back on my home number, as I was on my cell when I initially called and asked to speak to my husband who was unaware that I had even called. This behavior is unacceptable!! I asked to speak to Patrick again and told him again what I thought about the policy. Bottom line Mr. Strickland, I believe that most Geico customers do not know that this is a policy of Geico and if they even mention that they wanted a quote based on possibly being separated that Geico automatically sever their current policy and creates two new ones without your permission. This practice cause more problems for consumers. The policy that Geico has is horrible and needs to be exposed in the event if someone who was thinking about separating or divorcing their spouse that they would be aware that Geico will automatically separate your policy and then in turn notify the other party. This is disgusting, what if I were a battered woman who was trying to get away from her abusive husband or if I haven't even spoken to my husband about leaving that this incident could have potentially been fatal or could have cause tremendous problems in an already hostile situation.

When asked why I chose a different international auto insurance company than Geico, here was my response. "May I ask why you chose to go with them?" No worries. Least important to me was they were half the price. More important was that for several weeks I tried to contact Geico before I left the states and could never reach them during office hours for even a quote. Once I did reach the overseas office I had to wait to get some form to complete to even find out what I would have to pay or even if VENZ was covered. Once I filled out the form and sent it in I never heard back from anyone about a quote. I was now in VENZ and was contacted to resubmit my form as I had not even received a quote. Once I submitted my form to get a quote I was not given a quote I was emailed and asked if I still wanted a quote based on the fact that only certain things were covered. I said yes and finally after nearly 6 weeks of requesting a quote I did in fact receive one. During the 6 weeks of waiting to see if VENZ was covered, every other person I worked with recommended this other coverage. I went on line and in 10 minutes had a quote and a standing policy at half the price. My fear was that if it took over 6 weeks to get a quote, how long would it take to get claims service for a bad situation should it occur. Thanks. Samantha Jenkins"

I would like to thank you for your quick service when the car was finally taken in. It took almost 2 months but you guys finaly got around to fixing my car. The service was very good and the car fixed extremely well. The only problem is with the customer service.When you know that your driver is at fault ( in my case he went to jail) you realy should take care of the victim instead of having your service agents look almost as stupid as that dum lizard you use in your ads.You should not be advertising great claim service when you do not follow up quickly enough. Either hire different people or change management. Bye Bye

I've had 8 claims auto claims over 25 YEARS that couldn't have been handled better...hence I haven't changed companies. That being said...customer service sucks..."we do not have the corporate phone number but you can write to PO Box....." That is NOT acceptable! It's a public corporation...they aren't doing business out of a maildrop.
