i called in to get a phone activated and when i called the first time i was able to verify my acct but lady that i had talked to transfered me to pre-paid when i already have a post paid with cricket we disconnected because i was going to activate my phone on line after being advised that i could not put the phone i had chosen on post paid the online activation asked if i would like to do post paid or pre paid and so i decieded to call back to see why this had happened i could not verify my acct even though 5 min before that i was able to it seems that even though i was able to verify my acct with 2 of the 5 people i talked to one guy hung up on me one superviser yelled back at me and everyone else could not use my dob or social because they for some F***ED UP reason my personal information changed i want to cancel my service and go to verizon but i cant verify my acct my social and dob is incorrect even though i have had those two personal ids since i was born 20 years ago.... THIS IS RIDICULOUS THAT INFO SHOULD BE THE SAME AS IT WAS WHEN I SIGNED UP FOR CRICKET 3 OR 4 YEARS AGO!!!!! IF ANYONE GOES FROM ANOTHER CARRIER TO CRICKET YOU ARE F***ING CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!! I ABSOULTLY HATE CRICKET AND WOULD NOT WISH THERE SERVICE ON MY WORST ENEMY

Up to this point I haven't had any problems with Cricket. I paid my bill yesterday online, and was charged 3x. The same amount appears 3 times in my banking transactions. I call 1800 cricket, and of course, the CSR is rude. He tells me to call back in 7 business days to see if they can track down my money. This is rdiculous. He said he cannot see the extra payments in their system, but they sure as hell were debited from my account. I have been a Cricket customer for 2+ years. I hate calling their customer service, as it is the same everytime, rude and hard to understand representatives. I can assure you that after this month that I paid for, I will no longer be a Cricket customer. I called the corporate number listed at the top of this webpage to make a complaint, Took 10+ rings to even get an answer. The lady was short with me, asked me what state and apparently transferred me. I was just a little to angry to deal with that at the moment. I hung up, but will be calling again later.

CRICKET SERVICE IS EVERY POOR I'VE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR ALMOST A YEAR. LAST MONTH I PAID MY BILL THEY CUT MY PHONE OFF FOR THREE DAYS BECAUSE THE SYSTEM WAS SCREWED UP. NOW THIS MONTH WENT TO SETUP A BRIDGE PAY FOR ONE LINE THEY TRIED TOO CHARGED FOR TWO LINE BECAUSE OF YOUR COMPUTER ERRORS. I'M ABOUT TOO CHANGE PHONE CARRIERS IF THE PROBLEM PERSIST

I have been a Cricket customer for 6 months now. I recently moved to upstate New York. My phone no longer holds a charge and my charger stopped working this morning. I went and bought a new 3rd party charger which started charging my phone. However, it caused my phone to act weird and become unresponsive to some of the actions I was attempting to do. I called customer service and explained my issue to them. They told me I had to go to a corporate store to have my phone checked out and replaced because they don't can't send out replacement parts. They then told me that the nearest store is in New Jersey (6 hours away). I asked and I quote "Don't you think it is a bit outrageous to tell a customer to drive 6 hours to have a phone checked out? I wouldn't be calling if it was working correctly." The agent then said that it is their policy and that they can't help me over the phone. He said I could file an insurence claim and pay the $85 deductable, I explained that the phone is not working because of something I did, there is no water damage and told him I am not paying for a manufactures default. He then repeated himself and said I would have to go to the corporate store. Bottom line is, Cricket may be cheap but you get what you pay for. Verizon just got themselves a new customer.

i bought a cricket phone a week ago it comes with 5$ and on the same day i put $8 on it 5 days later today the 21 of mnarch iam told that i have to top up and i also will lose my $9 if this is the way it works i would never advise anyone to buy cricket. in fact iam going to write a complanit to the bbb and going on craigslist to every city in every state and let people know what happen . they may keep my $9 but it will cost them a lot more. and believe i know people, and i will cost cricket money if it,s the last thing i do. thank you terry brandon colorado springs colorado 719-217-9373

This is THE WORST company I have ever dealt with. They claim they never received my payment, however i have a copy of the check issued by my bank stating that they check was received and cashed. I have been contacting customer service for over two months and yet the "have not received the payment. I called customer service where the agents act as if they don't understand what the issue is and if you try to contact customer service by email they say its not their responsibility to handle the issue.

I was charged twice.Even though they saw that I was charged twice, I was forced to prove it by having my bank fax them information. Then they blocked me from calling customer service by saying that I have a bridge pay and have to go into a store or online-the automated system would not let me talk to a live person. Crazy, I didn't owe them money they owe me! I called the Corporate office and spoke with their escalation team.I think that they should credit me above and beyond for all the frustration and bull that they have put me through. My bank said they would credit me with no problem.Worst customer service ever, I was getting ready to call one of the news troubleshooter shows!!! Plus after being a customer for over 5yrs. I still can't get a discount on a phone without having to get a new # and being processed as a new customer so much for them appreciating loyalty and their long term customers. If you have the money to go elsewhere, do it! Most of the suffering I have had in my life has been not having the money to live in a better place or get a better service,etc. I have a disability and receive SSDI and still have to work part time to survive.

Cricket is the WORST service EVER!!!!!!!!!! I can't even pay my bill on your frickin' website that stays down all the time, or on the phone. I don't even know how Cricket is still in existance. I am going to Verizon. I am so done with not being able to contact a manager, speaking with people in India that can't even understand let alone speak English. Good bye Cricket!! I am taking all 4..COUNT IT...FOUR or my broadband cards and phones to a company that actually gives a crap about providing service. GOOD BYE!!!!! I hope that the Cricket demise is very soon to show these corporate idiots with their master's degrees...that all their education didn't help them one bit in running a company. Except running it into the ground!!!!!!!!!!!!

INSTEAD I SUGGEST YOU ALL CALL YOUR FEDERAL ELECTED OFFICIAL IN YOU DISTRICT AND DEMAND A FULL INVESTIGATION INTO THE ACTIONS OF CRICKET COMMUNICATIONS INC. MAYBE A GOOD OLD IRS AUDIT WOULD HELP THEM

My financial information was recently stolen. And of course the thieving schmuck decides to purchase something from Cricket....Seriously? My bank has verified that this was fraud and yet I am still required to have a conversation with a person working for the company that the fraudulent charges were made to. So I call a number some 1800cricket or some such that is the listed number where the charges went to. That number gets me NOWHERE. Its a recording, and it doesnt give any options to speak to a real person. And you cant even get any further from the start menu without an account #..Well DUH...I dont have an account. So I scour the internet looking for another number to call. I finally find one. I call it. Im then told by a poor english speaking foreigner that I need to call their fraud dept. Okay. So he gives me the number for that. I call it. Guess what? Its a recorded message with no options at all. All you can do Is leave a message and they'll get back to you. YEAH. Its been almost 48 hours since I left my message. IM a VIRGIN MOBILE customer, and may I just say I am so glad for that. They couldnt pay ME enough to put up with this kind of service.

I read the above stories and I must first say,I feel your pain. But,on a positive note,I have been with Cricket for about 6 months ans as of this writing my overall experience has been great! I live in Maryland,use a RAZR V3 phone,and am very pleased with what Cricket offers. I was with Verizon for a long time but got tired of having to constantly watch my minutes,dont like the idea that upgrading my phone starts my contract over,dont like the 2 year contract,and so on. No,Cricket isnt perfect,but I have nothing negative to say about the company. And,for $45.00 a month,what do you want????

1 star is to much for cricket. I've been going back and forth with them for months,about broadband and phone, Already purchased equipment so I'm stuck. Anyone thinking about using cricket, do yourself a huge favor and don't do it, Customer service is the worst i ever had to deal with. The people on the phone tell you to go to store and the people at the store put you right back on the phone with a so called supervisor who is not authorized to help you. What is that? Getting out ASAP

After being promised a $15 credit and being told it would be applied in 24 hours, and after paying $165 in cash for our 4 phone lines, two days later, all four phones were not in service... When I dialed 611 as directed, I got someone with a foreign accent, yet English name. Straining to hear because of the poor reception, poor phone quality, and his poor English, I understood that the reason the phones were disconnected was due to the fact the $15 credit would be applied "next month." I requested to speak to the supervisor (another English-named person with a strong foreign accent). I asked 3 times if this man could turn the phones back on, knowing that a credit was promised, and instead of answering "yes" or "no" he argued that we should not get a credit (the credit already promised days earlier). The only solution was to go to the store and pay the $15. Well Cricket: ADIOS AMIGOS! You really ought to think about hiring some UNEMPLOYED AMERICANS who understand that here in AMERICA we are generous, and do not LOVE to argue and LOVE to tell your customers "NO" like your overseas people do! Cricket: your overseas people lost you my business and your inability to train them to comply with simple requests is your own fault.

Cricket is only concerned about making money! I was assured that my order would be shipped via Fedex the next day UNTRUE! It's been 5 days and counting, the order was placed that was it NO FEDEX TRACKING NUMBER whatsoever but it didn't take long for Cricket to charge my credit card when I inquired about refunding my monies I was told that it would take 30 days! WHAT! Majority companies will refund your monies within 3 to 5 business day or 7 to 10 business days. CRICKET NEEDS TO STOP OUTSOURCING THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND KEEP IT HERE IN THE U. S.

I have a problem with the non- ENGLISH speaking people that talk to ENGLISH speaking customers. I spoke to a gentlemen last month before my bill was due about an issue I had with my bill. I was being charged for a county that I don't live in and a city I don't live in. It's like they don't understand what you are saying no matter how you say it. I guess you get what you pay for. So the dude told me to pay 37 and some change; so I did (stupid me shouldn't have listened to him). Now I am being charged extra for the amount that I didn't pay last month. It's not my fault the idiot dude told me to pay a different amount and he didn't change it. So, I log on to my account today and not only have they not fixed my address but I'm still being charged for the same county and city that I don't even live in. Then I asked for a stupidvisor and she tried adding it back on and said that the amount was not there fault and that everything was correct. See, that's what she wasn't getting thru her head. It wasn't right and I told them that I would gladly pay what ever the difference sales tax for the correct county and city that I lived in. So at the end of all this... they did credit me back the amount that I was charged and that it could take up to 24 hours. So we shall see what next month brings.

I setup a bridge payment extension and did not get to pay immediately due to the Midwest Snow Storms - Cricket sent an e-mail to everyone saying that an extension was in place to give 2 days to pay balances. When I called customer service I was told that my bridge payment had expired and received no explanation why it was not in effect due to the extension given by the company. I paid the $$ and called the next day as instructed. I cannot get a live c/s agent via my cricket phone or on a land line!! If you call the other line on the main website page they can't tell you anything! It's been 4 days since I've had service! PLEASE HELP! I NEED A LIVE PERSON!

Purchased a Cricket phone. Store gave me wrong information. Kept getting text messages about amount expiring. Called CS 7 times finally asked for supervisor. Got Ann #2411 in the Philippines who was so rude and unprofessional, words cannot describe. She told me they were doing me a courtesy- when I asked what they had done she could not answer and started reading from a script. She then told me not to listen to the Cricket stores and that she had worked there (2!!) years and was the only one I could now talk to, and that I had to accept whatever she felt like doing for me as a 'courtesy'. She constantly talked over me reading this script, told me I did not understand the company rules as it applies to contract, when I told her it was a no contract phone she kept tell me I did not understand and how much CS had done for me already. I asked if they had resolved the issue and then said, that I expect too much and how well trained she was. She then told me to go back to the store- when I told her I was in Los Angeles and the store was in Vegas, she again told me I wasn't paying attention. She then asked me to check the balance on the phone- I told her I was in the car and did not have the phone with me- she told me it was me being difficult as I should always have the phone with me!! I am just amazed how this company stays in business. Maybe they are too big to fail???? I am convinced that these overseas CS /companies really have no idea of anything apart from a script and can't really fix any problems. They hear and 'speak' English but its not really understood. Just amazing !!
