Tops Markets, Llc Corporate Office & Headquarters

Went to the Tops/P&C store in Penn Yan earlier tonight, and aside from the shelves being almost bare in some areas, the dairy case in particular, 2 of the items I had planned on purchasing were out of stock...was really almost nauseated at the FILTHY floors in this store. It looked as though no one had mopped any of the floors in the store in weeks. I won't go back, even though it will mean a trip to Geneva to either shop at Wegmans or the Tops there. If it were the first time that I'd been to this store and found it to be lacking in cleanliness, I'd give them another chance, but it's been this way since Tops purchased P&C. What is going on?

I have been a loyal Tops shopper for as long as there have been Tops stores in the Buffalo NY area. I often stop at the Delaware Road/Sheridan Dr. store in the Town of Tonawanda. Yesterday, I finally stopped to let someone know in the customer service area that I have been so disappointed in the store. The entrance closest to Delaware Road is always filthy and full of cigarette buts and fast food garbage. I believe it needs a MAJOR cleanup..scrubbed in fact! Also, there are never any smaller carts in the store, they are always all over the parking lot. Please show some pride and respect for our neighborhood! The majority of us living in the area do! A very good friend of mine just encountered extremely poor service from the Tops Market in Silver Creek NY. She is not the type to complain so I will gladly do it for her. She is a Puerto Rican woman and faced racial slurs during her visit to the store by members of the staff. This experience was very hurtful for her as well as to the Puerto Rican community (I am white just like the staff in this store.) This store needs to seriously re-evaluate its choice in staff. We will both be taking our shopping elsewhere as well as a everyone else who knows about the terrible treatment she received.

Just wanted to let you know that I had a disappointing visit to your DeWitt store. I am certain that you have not yet had the time to work on improving any of your "new" stores but hope that you are able to show Syracuse how efficient your stores CAN be. Each and everyone of the can/bottle machines at the front of the store were broken, the clerk in the deli seemed to be struggling with what appeared to be an inadequate slicing machine, and when I checked out the cashier held up one of my items that couldn't be scanned yet there was no one to do a price check for her. When people have a limited period of time to run in a grab a few items issues such as these can be very frustrating. I hope that in the future the store is one that everyone can enjoy shopping at and I wish you luck with your recent acquisition. Thanks for listening.

I stopped at your west seneca store on orchard park road on wednesday 4/28/10 at 8:45pm to pick up a roast chicken. There were not any out so the girl in deli sent me to ask the lady in carry out. She said she had just put them away, but they were still warm and would be glad to go back and get me one. She just came back with mine when another man asked about the chicken too. She told him she would be glad to run and get him one too. She was very up beat and did not seem put out at all. Her name tag had Mary R. on it please let her know she will be my new reason for shopping at your store.

I often stop in to your store located on West Genesee Street in Syracuse (Westvale Plaza)I worked at this store about 15 years ago and was that was my first job. Always wanted to support your store over Wegmans! So I usually just grab a container of fruit and maybe a slim jim for the morning hours at work. This morning I needed to use the bathroom. As I entered the bathroom the strong smell of urine hit me! The urinal was absolutely filthy and smelled awful! The floors and the sink area were just as bad. I did not even want to wash my hands in there. (no way this bathroom has been cleaned in the last several weeks.) As I left the bathroom I looked to my left at the water fountain and it looked filthy too!! It honestly looked like people have been brushing their teeth in the fountain! This would never happen at Wegmans! Very sad. If I experience something like this again I will take my shopping else where. Thank you for your time, Jonah B. Fugo Syracuse NY

on monday 4/12/10 I went to your west seneca store #49. I went to the deli at 8:20 and was told they were closed and could only get me what they had pre-sliced. that was not what I wanted. They said they closed early because they had been busy. I spoke with the manager Gwen and she said they are open until 9:00. So even with speaking to the manager I still was not served anyways. This is how you do business I will take my money across the street to wegmans!
