I neede a new front tire and was quoted $49.99 got there, put a tire on and it was $79.99 when everything was done. Paid and drove off. Two days later my next door neighbor's truck would not keep running and would shut down when started. Called AAA they asked us where we wanted to tow the truck, since I was just at Tire Kingdom, I told the guy to take his truck there. He gets there, they test the battery, said it was ok then they did a diagnositcs on it, found something else wrong and fixed that. All and all the bill came to $495.00. Unbelievable!!! My friend drives the vehicle to work and then home for the night. Next morning he gets up and his truck won't start. Guess what... it was a fautly battery. He got shafted by Tire Kingdom, what a rip off.. I would never offer to suggest this place to anyone I know and will tell all the people I know to stay clear of this place. When my friend called to tell them what was wrong with his car, they said there must be some mistake, the only mistake is them. Tire Kingdom said they could not give him any money back just a couple of oil changes, are you kidding me!! Stay away from this place. 13th Street, St Cloud FL Customer Walter Coates
Mark, u are really a lunatic and need to find something better to do in your spare time...maybe write children's books...??? U look like your the batman of whining people with problems that most of them create, like the lady who states her husband is a retard and it's the tire shops fault...these are so entertaining, but mark, please go back to stalking your ex...bc no one cares about your "cape crusader" vigilantes...
I would like to let people know my experience with what happen at tire kingdom, I had a leak in my car passenger side under the dash, and I made a few calls to see what the problem might be, some said it could be either the heating core, or the ac line is clogged. I dropped it off at tire kingdom on Hwy 49 in Gulfport, Ms to have them put it on a diagnostic to find out exactly what the problem could be. In about 30 minutes I received a phone call saying that the diagnostic was done and they said it was for sure the heating core, and they gave me a price for the part I would need for my 2006 Cadillac cts he said the price was $198.98 and they also charged labor which he said would be $100.00 an hour, and he estimated that it would take about 10 hours to do. So I was looking about $1,200 total. I knew that was kind of high and wanted to get a second opinion I called turan foley in Gulfport and they priced me at $82.00 for the heating core, and $700.00 for the labor. Total of $782.00 I avoided calling them first because I thought they would be more expensive because they are a manufacturer for cadillacs, ect. When I went to go to turan foley to order the part I told the sales person for ordering parts my problem I was having with my car, and he said they might not be the heating core, I told him well I took it to Tire Kingdom and they put a diagnostic and it’s saying that’s what it is. I told him now I’m second guessing if they really checked my car. The sales person at T.F told me to talk with someone over the repairs, after I told her she said wait on ordering the part till Monday because I don’t want you to order the part until we make sure that’s the problem, so she said just bring your car up here Monday and I’ll have someone look at it free of charge. I said that’s fine because I couldn’t order the part till Monday anyways. When I left there I went to T.K to go pick up my car and I was already feeling like they were ripping me off because of the price different I was giving. So when I got there I asked if I would get a receipt if I was to order the part with them, he said yes. I also asked would I get a print out saying a diagnostic was done on my car, he said yes. So as I waited for him to finish up with what he was doing on the computer, I was listening to another person that worked at T.K. who was helping a customer give him the total to see if it was a big amount like mine. After the customer had paid and walked out the door, I heard the sales person that just got done ringing up the customer say to the store manager that he up charged him $100.00 quietly and the store manager replied “good” and seeing that I knew for sure that they were ripping people off for their money, and yes the thought crossed my mind that they over charge people and fix the minor problem and just said it was bigger to pocket the rest of the money. Then the guy who was helping me gave me a print out of a receipt that was hand typed saying qty, amount, description, cost of labor and the total. And I thought to myself when I said I wanted a receipt I wanted a copy of the original of the part being ordered. Then he hands me over another print out of the saying they did a complete vehicle inspection which was also typed up. When I received it from him, I asked why did you have to write on the paper, saying what kind of test you did, shouldn’t it show up in your computer what you guys did? He respond back saying sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t . I already knew what was going on and told them I would be back Monday if I decided I want to have y’all do it. Before I left the guy who helped me said he could lower my price on both the labor and the price of the part, he said “ I had to wait for those douchebags to leave” (the store manager and the other sales person that up priced $100.00 on the customer) and that clearly shows that they are ripping people off. I left and I called the Tire Kingdom in d'iberville just to see what price I would get, and if it would be the same because it was the same company. He said the only part he could find to order was threw turan foley and he gave me a price at $ 82.00 the same price that turan foley gave me. Monday I took my car back to turan foley and they said they will for sure know what’s wrong with your car because they were going to do a diagnostic which would have been $88.00 and within five minutes they came back and said it was for sure your ac line clogged, two gallons of water came out from under my car. After that they decided not to do a diagnostic because they were certain that’s what the problem was. Thanks to turan foley my car is fixed, and I didn’t have to pay for something that was never the problem to begin with. So I was giving a price of $1,200 and to fix my car was a price of $0.00 So why is Tire Kingdom on Hwy 49 taking advantage of innocent people, women especially.

On Jan. 21, 2010 my husband brought my car to tire kingdom on Highway 27 to change the thermostat. Due to were it was located on the engine he was unable to get to it and we had to have a mechanic do it. He picked up the car later in the day and started to drive. H e got approx. 2 miles and the car started overheating and smoking. He pulled over to let it cool and then started to check all the fluids. To hes surprise TK never put coolant , water, or any kind of fluid back in the engine. No fluid means blown head gaskets. For a week and a half we tried to contact the manager(Mark Tracey) and he happened to be on vacation. 2 weeks later still no manager and no return call we decided to contact the corp. office. We placed more then a dozen phone calls to corp..... we finally got a call back over a month later. Tk said they would help us fix the problem and to discuss what they needed to due and give them a call back the next day. The next day when we called they said we needed to buy a new engine and they would give us a discount putting it in. We explained the situation again and tried to explain we wouldnt need a new engine if they would have put fluid in it.... so why are we resposible? Corp office told us they were investigating what happened and would get back to us. That was over two weeks ago. We have called numerous times and still no call and no engine. We had to go buy a new car so I could get to and from work. In all honesty TK is the worst car repair place and the best place to give you the complete runaround.
MY DAUGHTER TOOK HER CAR TO THE LOCATION ON THE WEST SIDE IN COLUMBUS OHIO TO GET A TIRE CHECKED. A DAY LATER THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE VEHICLE STOPPED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. SHE HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO A GARAGE. THE MECHANIC LOOKED AT IT AND THEY TOLD HER THERE WAS NOT A RADIATOR CAP ON THE RADIATOR. THEY DID A TEST AND FOUND NO COMPRESSION LEFT IN THE ENGINE AND NO COOLANT. I TALKED TO THE STORE MANAGER, BUT GOT LITTLE HELP. I ASKED FOR THE DISTRICT MANAGER, COULD NOT GET HIS NAME. I CALLED CORPORATE AND WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A CALL THAT DAY. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM. CALLED THE STORE AGAIN AND THE MANAGER TOLD ME WHAT AN HONEST PERSON HE IS. BY NOW I AM FUMING. MY DAUGHTER IS MISSING WORK. FINALLY SHE GETS A CALL TELLING HER TO GET A RENTAL, BUT SHE WILL NEED TO PAY FOR IT UNTIL THE CASE IS SETTLED..2 WEEKS LATER NOTHING HAS BEEN SETTLED. THIS COMPANY SAID IT IS UP TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY NOW. THEY WILL NOT CALL ME SINCE SHE IS AN ADULT, BUT THE CAR IS BEING PAID BY ME AND THE INSURANCE IS IN MY NAME. I CALLED THE CORPORATE AGAIN AND TALKED TO CUSTOMER RELATIONS AGAIN AND TOLD THEM THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND I WAS CALLING THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH. SHE TOLD ME OK....ASKING FOR ORLAND WOLFORD WILL NOT HELP. (HE IS THE PRESIDENT) OR BILL INKEN (SECOND IN CHARGE)THEY WILL NEVER LET YOU TALK TO THEM......................
I RECENTLY CALLED FOR A PURCHASE OF TIRES FROM THE TIRE KINGDOM HOBE SOUND STORE I WAS QOUTED A CERTAIN PRICE FOR TIRES THEN WHEN I RECIEVED THE BILL THE PRICE WAS MORE I QUESTIONED THE PERSON AND THE MANAGER AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANY TIRES FROM THEM AGAIN
OK no way no matter HOW you throw it up there we got screwed BY A COMPANY we've used for years but NEVER WILL AGAIN! My husband went in for an oil change and came out with a $700 bill for 4 tires, an alignment we DIDN'T NEED no matter what THEY said, and a charge for putting them on and balancing? THEIR OWN WEBSITE said....w/purchase of 4 tires the balancing and ?? were FREE and also a free alignment check...wow! Beware of that one! The tires don't even have a Mileage Warranty! I went back with my husband after he TOLD me about the charges and got to talk to a really slick Manager who has LOST OUR business, and we have 3 vehicles!! one a large SUV,and we've used them for years! NO MORE!! and our familys and friends as well will NOT USE them anymore, they've all since made it a standing joke that they want to SELL my husband ANYTHING because obviously he'd BUY it! But what Tire Kingdom has done is lost a LONG TIME customer, and A LOT OF FUTURE business! I won't go into ALL THE details, just suffice to say, we got screwed because I was NOT there to be the person of reason and THEY knew they could "scare him" into believing he NEEDED ALL this, and even though I pointed out that the tires had NO MILEAGE warranty so how good could they be for $375 PLUS $144, PLUS $79.99 for an ALIGNMENT I KNOW WE ALSO DID NOT NEED, their OWN WEBSITE said with the PURCHASE of FOUR tires the balancing and blah blah were FREE! As was an ALIGNMENT CHECK!! SO BUYERS BEWARE! That FREE check will COST YOU! They "claimed" it was over 5 degrees? That car wasn't OFF period, and certainly DID NOT NEED FOUR TIRES especially without ANY MILEAGE WARRANTY from them OR the Manufacturer! All in all, we got screwed BUT THEY ARE THE ONES WHO LOST! Because we'd used them for MANY years on ALL our vehicles, and after "spreading the news" none of the family or friends we've told will EVER use them again either! They knew it was BS, but hubby was "taken advantage of and had a real hard sell done on him"! I'll be sure I GO with him the next time! But still ...$700 for 4 tires we DID NOT need, an $80 alignment and $144 to put them on and they have NO MILEAGE warranty! Good going guys! You made money on us THIS time, BUT YOU SURE LOST A LOT MORE!!
I for about 2 years had stolen from the company, they finally caught me a few months ago. The idiots even wanted to forgive the whole thing if I returned the tires. This company is full of some of the biggest idiots ever and some of the stupidest customers! Yes you! Crying about having to pay shop fees, having to buy road hazard and an alignment when there ads say it up front. Crying about some of the stupidest stuff ever! Watching people work with your mouth open like retards, crying about how long something takes when the shop is full and very busy already.
Took my wife's car in for 2 tires. Opted to go for the oil change since it was due. 2 weeks later, notice oil had dripped on the garage floor. took it back and apparently the mechanics doesn't know how to install a pcv valve. Then all of a sudden it needs repair on the brakes. Tire Kingdom is the rising star Of Sears scams. Incompetence and they target women just like Sears did when they were adding mysterious repairs. Interesting enough, when she brought it in to get the filter and valve replaced the brakes had a leak. This is consumer fraud and consumer gender targeting. Interesting enough when I got involved, the story was changing by the second. They certainly don't like talking to me who have a clue about cars. Luckily I discovered the oil leak before we left on our trip. Even the manager at the store admitted it was their mistake. A mistake that would have cost me my car. You can bet I will be getting and atty to look into this. Orange Park TK Store Blanding Blvd.
Good evening, My name is Brandy Martin and I am emailing you on behalf of my husband Brandon Martin. Last Sunday we were in Tire Kingdom to get two new tires on the back of my husbands BMW and a rear alignment. Never the less we had a 2 hour wait so we ran some errands and came back. Once we got back we were told about an hour and a half the car would be ready so we went and sat in the waiting area. In which time my husband was then told they may not be able to do his alignment depending if they had the part or not. After 30 mins being 4:30 they finally take the care into the garage, changing the tires took just a min, in which part the man came out and asked us while we were standing in front of the garage watching the men work on the car if he wanted the roadside assistance, my husband said ok. The man told him it was 37 we were fine with that. At 4:55 one of the younger workers said "ahhh man we still have to do the alignment", another man said "nahh we dont have the tool" younger man said "cool we dont have to deal with that shit!" 5 min beofre they closed, we were standing there the whole time the older man never looked to see if they had the part he did not even look under the car!! Just wanted to get their paycheck...did not care about the customer at all! We then went in to pay, the total being 200 something, the older gentlemen with his boogers running into his mustache mumbling, did not say it was 37 per tire! Never the less, we were not told the correct amount, he needed the tires and we were so disgusted we just got out of there. The customer service was AWFUL, I will NEVER recomend tire kingdom, the workers were discusting to say the least. Just wanted our money did not care about helping, rude, and horrible language used, I have never been mistreated so bad in my life, especially when im spending over 200 dollars. I will be contacting the BBB, the shadiest company I have ever been to, I will remember to stick to walmart, at least they acknowlege the customer and actually care!! I just wnated to let you know this was horrible customer service, and if you want your company to continue to do well then I suggest you get better people to work for you! Sam at 545 Ashbury Dr Mandeville LA 70471 was the booger nosed most disgusting and rude person I have ever met.
ON 1-21-11 I purchased a set of tires from Store 109 in Bradenton Florida. I was called on the phone at home prior to picking my truck up. The Tire Kingdom employee told me that he had an estimate for some work I needed on the truck. This surprised me for I only had 39,000 miles on it. I asked what it was and he told me I needed rear brake pads, needed to flush and replace all the brake fluid??? And replace the air filter on the engine. And they wanted $425.00 If you are mechanically inclined, you will understand they were trying to screw me. That in its self is bad enough. I told them I do my own work like that and told them not to do it. Well I bought the pads and air filter for a booming $47.00 and planned on doing it myself, it is an easy job. Well I pulled the truck into my yard and removed the rear drivers side wheel. Guess what the pads looked almost new, I was very angry, I placed the new pad next to the supposed worn out pad and there might have been a 32nd on an inch different. I returned to the store and began to rant & rave to the manager, he told me he was going to fire that employee after he saw my brakes. Also I told him I had too much vibration for having new tires, alignment and balancing. They checked the balancing and all the tires needed balancing. Ya know what, I somehow do not believe the manager when he says he will take care of it. I don't even remember him apologizing to me. I received nothing for all my trouble. There is more to this story but I think you get the picture. So if you want to do business with them, good luck.
After seeing a TV advertisement for $79.99 Any Size Tires (size doesn't matter this is what NTB is airing the TV AD). I went to your IL Natl Tire & Bat Store # 510 located on 3350 Mall Loop Dr. Joliet, IL 60431. After I mentioned the TV AD, Your Employee told me that is not for size 17 tire. I thought I may have made a mistake remembering the TV AD. He sold me 4 tires @ $99.99 each. Today Februrary 9, 2011, the same TV AD aired again, and it is clearly mentioned $79.99 each tire it doesn't matter what size. IT SEEMS TO ME, EITHER YOUR EMPLOYEE DO NOT KNOW HIS JOB OR N T B TIRE HAS A FALSE TELEVISION ADVERTISMENT. I WOULD APPRECIATE, IF SOMEONE GET BACK TO ME ASAP. I already spoke to Tito Kelly @ your Customer Service today, and my reference # 4873303. He assured me that someone would get back to me. Your immediate attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated. Zaki Basalath zakibasalath@yahoo.com 630-222-7517
after hearing about a 2 for 1 tire sale , i stopped in to my local store to get more details. i was qouted 177.00 for 1 tire, but that is where the good stuff ended. i was told i coudnt get this deal unless i purchased a road hazzard warranty for the 2 tires additionally had to buy a front end allignment to get the deal. total cost for the 2 tires is now $403.00.needless to say, this is a case of corporate greed i have every experienced.please do not use this company and lets all of us strive to put these people out of business.
Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to you today for a BIG Kudos to the Tire Kingdom that I went to this Thursday evening. I spoke to Ray (Store #142)located on Saxon Blvd. in Orange City, Florida. The service was excellent and I was quite satisfied with the completed work on my vehicle. Ray was polite and very professional. Although I arrived pretty late (close to closing), he did not make me feel rushed and gave me excellent customer service. Hats off to your employee who will make me a repeat customer. I will be bringing my son's vehicle in for new tires and will continue to use Tire Kingdom for my future vehicle(s) needs. Thank you again for taking the time to read my email. Respectfully, Laurie D. Santonino
Don't ever work for tire kingdom there pay is worthless they don't like to give a raise to your pay and this is to all the tire kingdom in charlotte nc I would never work for them again in my life
On 04/12/11, Tuesday, at around 3-4 pm I went to Tire Kingdom on 825 Town Center Drive, Kissimmee, FL 34759 for Air con diagnostic, compressor replacement, and Freon recharge for my Toyota Celica, for which I paid $731.85 (nv. Nos. 48130223/46123319. While waiting there for some time until the work was done, I was courteously and very well attended to by two of the employees, namely Steve at the counter and Jose Velasquez who did the job. On asking advice on what to do with the right misaligned skirt of my Celica of what I thought were broken screws, Jose looked at the car skirt and, consulting with Steve, told me that according to Steve this could be fixed for $28.50. However, he told me he would do it but he would be available only Thursday, 4/14/11, from 8 or 9 PM. I returned at 9 am, 04/14, and saw Joe who told me to go to the counter and say that Steve had quoted $28.50 for fixing the misaligned skirt. I did so as told, and approached one of two at the counters, only to experience the worst attention I got in dealing with Tire Kingdom, in particular and any other car repair shop in general. Earlier in Feb or March 2011, I was courteously attended by your people at Tire Kingdom, Natick, MA store for the purchase of 4 Dunlop tires. The following words quoted verbatim from the person who attended to me are very revealing of his rudeness and arrogance: (1) When I tried to describing in layman’s words what was my concern, he said to me “I do not know what you are talking about.” (2) When I requested him to follow me to the car to let him know what I was talking about, he said, “These are not screws, these are clips and they are broken.” (3) When I told him that for the job Steve the other day quoted me $28.50, he said “ We do not have such a $28.50 rate here.” (4) When I requested to please confirm what Steve quoted me for the job with Jose Velasquez, he said “Steve will be here only at 1 o’clock. I will not waste my time to call him now. I am the manager here!” With such atttitude of this Manager, I had no recourse but to leave and say “never mind.” Probably having come to his senses, he rushed out to try to dissuade me from leaving, saying that he was about to make the ticket. I did not look back, nor do I intend to patronize Tire Kingdom ever again! This so-called manager must learn some lessons in human and customer relations from his subordinates Steve and Jose!
