I went to the grooming salon on Cortez and coastal Blvd. It was the worst service I have ever had period! The girl at the fro verynt desk was very rude! Never going again.

The ad said $6.00 off Science Diet dog food for Petco Pals card holders. The sign said the card price is $39.99. NOT TRUE! They ring it up as the original price, add tax, and then subtract $6. You are paying tax on the $6. It is not on sale for $39.99. Beware of their shady practices.

I bought a total of 7 fish from petco stores in fairview heights il. I have two different tanks set up. I turn around put all but one in one tank and the other in my other tank. The fish die in the main tank and and kill a few other fish. One type of fish I bought was an African Cichlid they are hard to kill usually this fish killed all the ones in my tank as well as a catfish that has been in my tank for 2 years. When I take the fish back to petco to get my money back they refused saying that the water shows in my tank that my nitrate levels ere high. however I have a home testing kit and been keeping fish for 5 years now and my test have never been wrong. I then turn around and try to explain that my water is fine.. and that the fish from petco contamiated my tank when they still said I knew not what I was talking about... so I recommend to other people that petco is not the place to buy fish you want to live.

ordered 2 large bags of dog food on the 18th. paid $10 extra for 2 day delivery. today is the 27th and still no dog food. i called customer service and here is what i was told. "Your order is delayed because of the winter storm." what? when did this storm start? 9 days ago? are you kidding me? last time i order from them.

On Black Friday I tried to place an order on the website, and their web pages kept freezing up and caused many more of each item I wanted to order. After trying for several hours I finally called them up to place my order. It seems that their computers were also in the midst of crashing. I finally was able to get switched over to a supervisor who took my order, but couldn't finalize it. He said he would call the next day, and he did. When he gave me the total I knew it was too high from what I was being charged on their web site, and he said they were correct. When I received the package on Wed. I called on being charged the full price on several items. I was told that the web site states o have to buy one full priced and get the second one for 25% off. I told them that this wasn't on their web site last Friday, and that I printed out the order on their website last Friday that showed every item discounted. I told her I wanted the credit, as I felt I was being ripped off, and that this wasn't the first time something like this happened with their company. She could only offer me a $10 credit to my PETCO card. I told her I didn't want a credit to my card, as it would sit there for sometimes months, all I wanted was a credit to my credit card, which she said she couldn't do. Now that I have PETCO's corporate headquarters I am going to write to them about all of this and send them a copy of the order I tried to place last Friday showing all items discounted. I was wondering why I was talking to people with an accent from India, and now that I read the comments here about them resourcing to India I will also complain about that. The people in this country cannot afford to lose jobs, and with PETCO doing this many have. I have nothing against these people other then them taking jobs away from our people, but I do intend to boycott PETCO now for more then one reason.

Yep, Petco outsourced all of it's IT department to India. Then they cut a deal with Texas and shipped all their other departments there. They gave their employees a choice, move or you get laid off. Petco is NOT AMERICAN!! You sold your values and souls Petco, all so the board can make more money, you should be ashamed.

I have worked retail for 6 years at Home Depot. OMG! I have also worked at Wal-Mart feel for the ones that still do. But NEVER have I ever head the horor stroies that I have on here. PETCO is one store I will never shop again. PETCO was in on selling of birds that killed hundreds of bird's and made people sick and even killed some people. It's sad that I just learned alot of this. I will do a better job researching where I shop. PETCO bets Walmart. That's another store I will not shop. They are both Nasty,Rude,and uncalled for. So why shop either. At least Walmart will do a mark down or a return without the run around like PETCO. They say we will call you and let you know and you never get a call back. At Walmart it is expected. PETCO well my slogan for them now is. PETCO where the pets go to get their ear cut off and glued back on. Don't feel for the people working there that have to clean a little dog poo. They don't mind feeding everyone else $H!T. I'm lovin it.

Bought a x-tra large dog house for 400 got it and it was cheaply made,then read the box to find out it was made in china.Will not buy from suppliers of chinese products.

To Bruce Hall, President and CEO Tonight I received a phone call from an "unavailable" phone number. The caller said she represented Petco, knew that I had made a recent purchase from a certain store, and asked if I was the "male head of household." She wanted to me to take a survey, which I declined. I'm assuming the information about my purchase came because I used my Pals card. Mr. Hall, get your head out of the 1950s and don't insult every female member of every household. I have made my last purchase at a Petco store. I will gladly paid double price somewhere else if it means your antiquated policies go unsupported.

DO NOT GO TO GROOMING SALON IN QUINCY MASSACHUSETTS!!! Their is a groomer named debbie there and I am astonished to find out she still works there. She has dropped dogs off the table, been rough with dogs and has even caused injury in dogs! The groomers are careless and don't care about the dogs. The only one there that does is a woman named brianna. A friend of mine took her dog there right when that woman Debbie started and their dog went in for a haircut ( he was a white American Eskimo) he ended up leaving with his nipples shaved off and drops of blood stained on his coat. Clearly the manager only cares about making money to keep a hack like that on staff.

My husband and I took our 2 year old to Petco. He wanted a new mouse. So we got a cart, checked out the fish then went to small animals. We looked at the mice and rats and tried to decide which ones we wanted. My son wanted the mice. We were going to purchase 2. We waited around 15 minutes, when no one noticed us my husband went to the register and asked for assistance. The girl at the register called for someone to help us. we then waited another 20 minutes and when no one showed up we left. so they lost out on a sale of 2 mice and a complete set up for the mice. I called and complained and was told that between the hours of 5:30 and 7:30 thats when they are the busiest so I should come in before that next time.

Most OB schools allow ysugnoters to handle the dogs but some trainers would prefer adults to handle if the dog is proven to be hard to handle or is too much of a big dog for a little kid to handle. Usually kids with smaller dogs, they wouldn't mind. I started when I around your age too my dog was a puppy then. But for your info, one of your parents has got to be there to supervise you & the dog.References :

I have just found out that you are no longer carrying the PUREBITES freeze dried chicken breast or turkey breast for dogs or cats. My cats love those. Unless you are going to get a new brand in, I am going cease to frequent the Petco stores. I only go there for those items. While there, I frequently buy other items for my cats if I see something which I think they will like. But now you will be losing that business. My plans had been to buy one of your large petco cat condo excercise kits but again, since you no longer carry the main product which I need, I will just buy it from Amazon and from a different supplyer. I fully understand that one consumer is of little concern to your store but I had been urging other people to go to Petco for those Purebites products and now I will have to tell them that there is now no longer a reason to go to the Petco stores in their areas. Fom now on I will either go to Petsupermarket or Petsmart or just shop online.

I'd say yes if you were interested in tarining at the club I go to. I've taught younger kids before. They are good students and work very hard with their pets. Since you can't drive, you’re going to have to get your mom to take you. And she will most likely need to sign for your approval in the class. But there no reason you can't train your dog.You need to speak to the class instruction and make sure they are comfortable with your dog and you in the class. I have been going to the Petco in Pinellas Park, FL for about a year now only because it is approx 10 min from my house and I have had several bad experiences. For instance, went to purchase feeder fish and an aquatic plant for my turtle. It took about 10 min to find an associate and when I did he couldn't help me because he didn't work in aquatics. Finally someone helped me with 10 feeder fish and when I asked him for the plant he said " I have someone waiting for me at the counter and would be right back"....I actually waited another 10 minutes and he never came back. When I looked over towards the registers, there he was ringing in customers. I had to track down yet another associate to help me (BTW all the feeder fish i purchased died within 2 hours) I could go on and on but last nights experience was my LAST time shopping at Petco!!!!! Went in to look at purchasing feeder fish, thinking last time was a fluke, but oh my gosh I was totally disturbed about what I saw in the tanks!!!! There was a total of 23 dead fish among the tanks (I took pictures). One algie eater (sucker fish) had been dead in a tank so long it's eyes were missing and another tank had a blob of yellow slimy goo which appeared to be a decomposing fish (the live yellow fish in the tank were trying to avoid the area of the goo) algie in almost every tank and not to mention the skeletons in other tanks. It was not only disturbing but sad!!!! Of course the manager was busy and could not speak to me. I am def going to call corporate and complain!!!! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ANY PETCO EVER AGAIN!!!!

Im about to hurt someone. She told me its the same if i return the item and get cash or put it back on the card. I had her put it on the card. WELL, its been 24 hours and its still not back in my balance. Where, when i check the original receipt, the money comes out of my bank account the same day as i made the purchase. You dont f*ck with my money or food. Thats it!!!! And they did just that. Im the type of guy that wants it to be shady so i can exact revenge. Ill grab rhe back of her head and slam it into the glass counter. Trust me u dont want to f*ck with me.

I bought a bag of parrot food and was told if I brought it back (if the bird didn't like it) I would get a full cash refund) well the stores electricity was down that day so "I didn't get a reciept!!" I asked the woman how will I get my money without a reciept, she said she'd remember me; just say it was the day the LIGHTS WERE OUT. As I was leaving the store I got hit by an SUV and knocked to the ground but thank the Lord nothing was broken. They ought to remember me everyone seen what happened but today (a week later) I go back to for my cash refund and the girl (manager? assistant manager?) says she can't give me a refund because I didn't have my reciept. I explained what was said and what happened but she REFUSED to give me my cash. $21.00 to be exact!! How is this MY FAULT that I didn't have a receipt when I wasn't given one and who do I call to get this matter straighten out cause I searched the WHOLE INTERNET AND I CAN'T FIND ANYONE AND I AM PISSED off!! This is the THIRD time I've had a bad experience in that store and you can bet your first born I WILL NOT RETURN!! FYI - I was given a gift card in leau of cash! "PETCO SUCKS!!!"

poorest place i ever tried to shop my dog is old and has alergys and is a very picky eater. every time i find something she eats good the store is out of it.and i am talking about 3 different foods.so i am now looking for a new place to buy my dog food and other supplys.i also have a cat,fish,and 15 rabbit so you can guess what i spend a week on pet supplys.

Today I took my children to Petco in Jackson, TN . I was going to visit the store to let them know that the diseased fish I had bought from them killed an entire 55 gallon tank of fish & let them know how unhappy I was with this loss. My children wanted to first look at the snakes. We were very disturbed at what we saw. The snakes were starving . Their bodies were sunk in & one snake was dead in the tank. When the employees were notified they took out the dead snake and stated that "they Don't have anything to feed the snakes"! What a cruel death to be locked in a tank a starved to death. I will never go back . SHAME ON YOU PETCO
