Paypal emptied my bank account. I refunded a buyer through paypal which came out to $316.00 the money never left the paypal account to begin with, I paid for the shipping label $15.00 and they took out a seller fee of $10.00. So that's $25.00, now I voided the shipping label before shipping the item so I could return the money to the buyer. There was only $290.00 dollars in the paypal account. Paypal only need $25.00 to complete the refund, what do they do? They take GO FUCK YOURSELVES>>>>!!!
A couple months ago, I sold a local man a skid loader on Ebay. In my Ebay ad I clearly stated, in big, bold, red type, NO PAYPAL PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Following in the steps of any moron, the farmer/buyer sent me not one , but TWO $3300 payments through PayPal, then came to pick up the loader! Strangely, he also brought another $3300 in cash when he arrived to pick up the loader. When I asked him for payment he said he already sent me the PayPal payment - which I countered by reminding him of my ad disclaimer regarding PayPal. Reluctantly, he gave me the cash payment and went home, asking me to cancel my side of the PayPal transaction - which I later did. Now, PayPal is hounding me via phone and email, in a feeble, harassing and intimidating attempt to get $116+ from me as "payment" for their having returned the buyer's PayPal payments back to him! It's PayPal's thinking that I'm supposed to pay them a fee before they send HIS money back to him, even though it was never accepted by me, OR put in my bank account!!! I have talked to THREE PayPal "supervisors" about this, all of which told me they "would take care of this matter" - which, obviously they did not. In order to not receive any more phone calls from them about this, I changed my phone number in their system to a bogus number, but I risk expulsion from their 'service" if I keep this and, I would guess, the inability to post anything on Ebay, because Ebay now demands that their users use one of their 'approved" payment methods with which to get paid from other Ebayers - which is something I never do. PayPal really DOES suck!
Terrible, terrible, business. No one should do business with Paypal. Why is it so easy for someone else to get your information, billed services on your account, and paypal okays it. What kind of security system do they have? Is it free for all hackers? Been having issues with Paypal for about 2months, customer service keeps asking me for the account no: used in the transaction. I gave them an account no: to my surpise the accounts do not match. CS tells me they cannot give me information unless I have the account no:. If I knew it, I would give them RIGHT. Well, to make a long story short, I cannot get no where unless I have the account no: I wonder where I can get this. Maybe a hacker can help me now. I'm FURIOUS. Ontop of it all they sent my account to collections. HOW DEAR YOU PAYPAL.
I have had my funds frozen now for about 21 days and still not released. No excuse that I can find. I am beginning to seriously wonder if Paypal is even solvent, financially, and if this is the real reason they are doing this. It just doesn't make any sense. I have 100% positive feedback and good DSRs, been with eBay and Paypal several years. Now, I recently have sold $4,000 worth of stuff in a good streak, not likely to repeat because I sold some special personal items. They say then that I am a high risk and they must hold my funds for "up to 21 days", indicating that they might go less, if the item is shipped / delivered and positive feedback received. Trust me, that they are not watching this sort of thing, and there is no way to ask them. Other questions are available, but you cannot ask them why they are holding your money or how long until it is available. No such option is available. Paypal apparently doesn't want to talk about it. They just want to hold your money. It's probably giving them some much-needed float to pay their light bill, etc. Sales are down, and it's got to be affecting them, too. So, if they see that someone is making good sales, then that must be their cue to swoop on that account and hold funds. I'm looking into Propay, now, and also making my own website up for sales.
why when i transfer money from my bank account to pay pal account does it take five or six days before it shows up on my account. realy where is that money for six days? is it floating out there in space somewhere? someone has to know where it is? transfers should be instantous, with their technical savy you would think they could do better.For a coperation who did over six hundred billion last year they should be more user friendly, but i imagine interest on six billion for six days is quite a chunck of money!!!
Despite the fact that I have never made any type of claim, have never had a payment refused, not had my account hacked, NEVER had any type of problem or dispute with PayPal they now won't let me pay for anything with my active and not-over-limit credit card. The only response I'm getting from them is that there is some sort of top secret "model" and there's no way to fix my problem. In other words-PayPal thinks that they're the only game in town and if we want to play we have to bend over and take it. In the future I will only use PayPal if there's no other option to obtain something I need.
DO NOT EVER send someone money via PAYPAL unless they have a will and you are the executor!!!! If that person should die before they claim the money, you CAN'T get the money back!!!!! Our son was sent a large sum of money last Wednesday, because he was without a job, no assets, no personal property and, therefore, no will. To our dismay, he passed away the very next day,this past Thursday. Because it takes 4-5 days for the money to clear our son died before he could access the money and it is now sitting in his account. We have tried to get the money back to no avail! Two of the representatives actually had the nerve to tell my husband that our son should just send the money back.... and that was after the were told our son had passed away! The Supervisor could only suggest we get an attorney after telling us there was nothing we could do without being named the executors of the will. What part of THERE IS NO WILL did you not understand. We can provide you with a copy of his birth certificate, his death certificate, BUT THERE IS NO WILL!!!!!! Give us our money back!!!! I will NEVER,NEVER,NEVER use PayPal again!
do not ever allow PayPal to facilitate auto-billing through your account for services. If you want to cancel the service, and the company doesn't honor your request, PayPal will not refund your payment...even if the service is in the future...because it is an intangible service. If I would have purchased a $70 book, I would have been able to get my money back, but because it was a site protection service that I found out was fraudulent, I cannot get my money back for the supposed protection from 2011 - 2013. Had I paid this company w/my checking or credit card, I could have stop-paid the payment, but through PayPal, I am screwed.
After coming to this site I see that I'm not alone. The Federal Government needs to check into this place if you want my 2 cents..! Contact your local avenues of government. PayPal can either be your best friend or worse nightmare.
Customer Service? More like Customer disservice. The people can't speak Englis well enough to be understood. They won't give you anyidenifying information-just a first name. They won't even tell you where they are, beyond the name of the country- Phillipines or Costa Rica. They have had over $700.00 of my money for more than a month. It was supposed to be automatically electronicly transferred accounted to my checking account. I will NEVER DO Business with PAY Pal Again!!!!

I have problem with account information and the customer service department. On 05.02-04.2011, I called pay pal customer care phone number @ 1-888-21-1161. This was in reference to my account, I asked that all account[s] be closed [in my name]. The following transaction [the next day]a marketing representative did not close all account information, thus, an another marketing representaive, informed me that, the account was penal." My account is still closed " did not open the account" I made question of the harassment from her phone reprentation [it] seemed traditional race discrimination evidence, because any time a cacausion woman, distributed anything as to render as a merchant service and/or merchandise, she gives refute. As an African American male, the continuance of per iteams being sold, in the many depatment stores such as:"Walmart" "Macy's" "Target" "Dillards" ect. There are so many models and makes of products, it should be a non-refutable transaction. This refute is how African American men as consumer seem to be people with criminal intent, inside store location. Personally a casual connection of racism has led people with racist practice which has simotaniously chalange my health & living arrangements, to be a problem to my personal pursuit of life. "it is like my mother is a stupid female dog-in quiz and question." This a violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. 2000(a) et seq. and many other equal protection law. Thus, a dumb "nigger" always has something to say when another male is not respected as consumer. My iteams my life. Please Please, I would like have material things from you store. I have a client Arizona, who recently sold some items to a buyer in Texas. 22 boxes were delivered and signed for and confirmed by the United States Post Office to be delivered. The buyer even confirms all items are received and in satisfactory condition and very happy with the purchase. Buyer then disputes one month later the entire order stating he is dissatisfied with the quality of the material books. And then opens a second dispute stating he had not received the material. It should be noted that to the boxes contained rare Bibles. PayPal disputes and decides in the favor of the seller great so far, Seller also gives PayPal e-mails and confirmations stating that the buyer is using Semitism and hatred towards ethnic groups, and PayPal should probably not align themselves with this type of client. The fraudulent buyer also makes death threats against Jewish people and hateful civil right remarks and shows reference to legions with hate groups. PayPal or confirms the re ceipt of the e-mails as it does not cancel the account, but does nothing to cancel his account. The buyer then disputes with this bank, PayPal ask for the same information that was already sent and received, making my client believe PayPal is not communicating with their of the department, and my client even asked to communicate with the bank correctly and PayPal denies any information to assist. PayPal Corp. then conveys to the bank's actions and in turn reverse her own decision and decides for a full refund reversing all charges to the seller, even after confirming 22 large boxes were delivered and signed for. Thus making the seller now a victim of fraud and the victim of civil right and human right actions, along with death threats and hateful Semitism group. PayPal then decides to send my client to collections and begins dunning his account aggressively. PayPal's owns collection apartment states they are the buck stop, and has read the dispute and confirms the buyer is correct, and under every quarter conversation PayPal confirms legions with the Semitism buyer, stating that my client the seller should burnt in the ovens in Germany that way you would not have been born. Not believing a corporation would align themselves to a outrageous and grievous remarks, it was confirmed by a second dunning call in which I was present and could not believe that the collections department from PayPal was verbally confirming fire was right in his actions and remarks. I'm now curious if any other buyers or sellers have had such outrageous treatment and have been the victim of civil rights abuse and fraudulent activity to the extent this has gone through. Your actions in cutting off the accounts of Wikileaks and the manning support to which those who wish to make donations have a legal right to do so and that your action in preventing this is reprehensible, illegal. immoral and who do the hell do you think you are? You can and should be sued not only for your vigilante criminal actions but you are liable to any person who wanted to offer their financial support without you determining their right to do so. Who do you think you are? How dare you set yourself up as some judge of who has rights to an account or who can support them through that account. You can expect a nice big lawsuit because you obviously don't understand that their are laws that stop King John riding roughshod over anybody and eveybody because we the people know its wrong . the absolute worst company for customer service. I can not pay for my purchase on eBay they refuse to charge my credit card for the amount of my purchase, they want me to use my bank account.. I try to link my account but it did not work .. May be after reading this reviews it's a good thing. It is stupid that you have to use PayPal to pay on eBay .I wish I can use American Express the best company and great customer service.
They were doing good until I got to about $250.00 measly bucks and then out of nowhere they need me to get verified and had put a limit on my purchases-so they want my precious bank info or for me to sign up for a paypal credit card-what did I do? first I tried this goofy mastercard I had activated-and they claimed something was not good enough with that-so then I tried my old bank account info in missippi-but they had cancelled me out a year or so ago for no activity- about all I can do now to pay for my ebay motors purchase is open a new bank account-but this time I will go with a bank that will not cancel me out 20-30-40 years down the road of hard knocks-I will refuse to divulge my direct deposit bank's info to paypal-because they are not verified adequate to me,myself,and I-and they pissed off all three of us-actually 4 including the ebay motors seller-I had the money in there to send-it was pay pals fault-they fumbled on the 3 yard line-what was an easy run-I had no clue that they had bigtime screwups-now I know for sure

Let the buyer beware. I bought a Chinese replica calendar clock from Proclocks in Cincinnati, and found, too late beyond their 30 day warrantee, missing parts and bad machining. They agreed to evaluate for $150-200. Stupidly I returned it under that deal. They agreed it was unrepairable and offered to sell me a new one for $125. I agreed but when I got the shipment it was my old one with one part replaced. The unrepairable cast frame part was not replaced and it still won't run. Proclocks pretends that they shipped a new one and will give me a refund and my broken parts if I return it. Pay pal agreed with them and closed the case. So, in order to get my money back I have to return, at my expense, the one I bought and end up with nothing but broken parts (whatever they are)!!
After having an ebay account and paypal account for many yrs.. Paypal now continually puts my account on hold and makes me call in and give them my credit card + reset my password. It is getting pretty annoying and after talking to a supervisor they would not tell me as to why they were doing this. I log in from the same computer, have had the same bank account for over 10 yrs, but they claim it's suspicious every-time I go to withdraw money from legitimate transactions on ebay and send it to the same bank everytime (Wellsfargo). This begin happening after a dispute of an item I sold on ebay to a hostile buyer but I won the dispute. The supervisor insisted that it wasn't because of the dispute and wouldn't give me a valid reason other than they were just making sure my account was secure from a potential hackers. I said well you would think paypal would know my ip address by now from hackers and it is ridiculous to have my account be put on hold so many times just because I request money that is mine from ebay sales. Paypal has been useful many times but because I continually have had my account put on restricted without be given a legitimate reason (other than a potential hacker) I have to rate them a 1 because of their bad customer service and account restrictions especially since I have used them for many many years but only because I have to. You would think by now they would know from comparing ip addresses that the transactions are not suspicious. Hopefully PayPal will be replaced by a more user friendly and reliable service.
