Slow slow slow unhappy with slow loading
I have had 5 unauthorized billings to my personal checking account. I do not have an active account with netzero. The number listed above is not the corporate number in Woodland Hills, CA, its an overseas Phillipino weigh station to divert complaints. I am certainly going to contact the Federal Trade Commission about the theft of my hard earned money.
I have had this netzero email access for 8 years.The last time I used it was 7/24/11.this morning I went to check my mails and the address had been terminated.I called technical support who told me to call customer servce to get the issue resolved.I paid fot that Technical support and my REf # was 048158919.I was told to call customer service who handed me over to registry.UP till now ,my sensitive informations are being held in the locks of netzero without a forewarning
My e-mail was hacked 2 days ago, as I noticed spam been sent to my contacts. I sent an e-mail to abuse@support. The next day I recieved a banner in my e-mail telling me to change my password. I did not recieve an e-mail verification from abuse, just the banner. To make a long story short, my brother had a similiar incident involving his account needing to change password from a banner. He changed his password and was then relieved of $5000.00, by a hacker that had produced an exact duplicate of his support page. He was eventually reimbursed for his loss, but lesson learned. I called the customer service (cancel account number) to cancel my account and I got a sales pitch given to me 3 times, for free service until August 5th, then billing will resume on August 6th. WHAT PART OF, "I WANT TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT" WASN'T UNDERSTOOD!!!!! I don't want free service, I want my account cancelled before this hacker has my family & friends (contacts) accounts hacked! ...HELLO, IS ANYBODY LISTENING! CANCEL MY ACCOUNT< I AM REMOVING ALL PERSONAL INFO AND STOPPING DIRECT BILLING AS OF TODAY 6-18-2011.
Even one star is too high a rating for how you handle Netzero customers whose accounts have been hacked. I am going to make it my business to contact every blogger and the Washington Post to tell my story about trying to speak with a live person who could respond to my situation. If my netzero account was not so widely used by my friends and family; I would cancel the account today
I have been a netzero dial up customer for the longest time and for years to follow I got so tired of it being so slow so I upgraded to netzero dsl. They charged my credit card $99 upfront including other fees. It was great at first but when my monthly billing started to change every three months and going up without being notified I got tired of it. I am a disabled 62 year old man half blind on a fix income and being the longest netzero customer they are sticking me with the $150 early termination fee because I was very disatisfied with their service. I wanted to cancel, they try their best for me to stay but I have told them their are other Internet Providers that charges less every month but they refuse to cancel my netzero account. I get a call from netzero, some tech saying that their managers are not allowed to speak to their customers because it is against their company policy, and this John Sanchez states he is a manager and keeps saying mam to me everytime he spoke to me, his etiquette was very bad as a manager passing himself off as a manager. Please help me get a corporate email address to convey this message.
I have been pretty sick so I turned our bank account over to my husband, he was useless and when our checks started to bounce, I found out Net Zero had been charging MY account TWICE a month for over 11 months. I have NO account with Net Zero and two different people werre on these accounts! Net Zero took money out of my bank twice a month and I also talked to Paki! What a nightmare that is! I have been with my Credit Union 27 years. All of a sudden my checks for rent bounced. After looking into it Net Zero has been taking $9.95 TWICE a month out of my account and this has been going on for 11 months! I called and got Net Zero and got some other country where I could NOT understand them. I want to bring charges against this company and need anyone that has had the same problem that wants in on this law suite, It is THEFT and it is also 3 other FEDERAL charges against them and because they are who they are and have done NOTHING, I am suing them big time. I am going to every NEWS outlet I can and show them the proof and the money Net Zero owes me. They have NOT responded nor paid back all this money, and trust me, FRAUD is Net Zero! I was charged 19.90 01/07/2011 and again 01/10/2011. I called netzero to have the extra charge returned to my debit card. I recieved a refund of 19.90 on 01/11/2011. Which was great. However, a few days later my internet was disconnected. Now, after asking them to reconnect because i've already paid for the service for the month. They say they have no record of having charged me twice. My debit card still holds the records for the over charge. I have contacted a lawyer, and expect to hear from him soon. This isn't just an over charge now. Because of the evident hiding of my record from netzero, it is now theft, and i intend to pursue the mater as faras i can take it until i get satisfaction that netzero, or any other internet company will never get away with Steeling from the public again. After all, taking 19.90 from hundreds or even thousands of people and letting your company by with it is a reward for theft. I will not allow that to happen.
I received 2 unauthorized charges to my credit card from this company. I don't use netzero and have high speed internet with comcast. When I searched online, I found so many others who are being charged without their knowledge or them even registering for netzero services. This is clearly a case of fraud and there could be hundreds of victims out there because of this company. I hope a class action lawsuit is forthcoming. I will be contacting the FTC and FBI to notify them of the outright thief of consumers by this company.
NetZero has some of the worst customer service I have had the pleasure to deal with. I even tried to call the Corporate office in California and still got automatically transferred to India. All I am trying to get is an answer to a question. India keeps telling me there is no answer and that anything wrong is my fault. All because THEY double billed me. And from everything I can find, that seems to be a normal business practice for NetZero.
they stole money from my account twice! Uuauthourized and when I called it was a office in India and when I asked to speak to a US based operator the man with a very accent told me not to discriminte so I told him to learn to peak better english.
I have had trouble with this provider ever since I started. I was told by 3 different techs that they would be contacting me at a certain time for the past 2 days, needless to say, I am still waiting.The price sure sounds good but trust me, the service is not worth it. I would discourage anyone from making the same mistake that I did.
I happen to be checking my account information. To my surprise I was charge 50.96 for services I Did Not authorized. I was told that within 48 to 72 hours my card will be credited. I find this to be unexceptable. How is it possible, for my card to be charge even though I never authorized for the service. I find this to be erronous business practices, theif and very very poor customer service. Wonder am I the onlye person for this to have happen to. I recently spent an entire day trying to download a large file (114MB). I was disconnected twice after several hours during the process. The second time I was disconnected I received a message that said I had been ACCIDENTLY disconnected. When I inquired as to how one gets ACCIDENTLY disconnected, I was informed that there is a timer (at the server level - so as to disolve Netzero of any responsibility) that timed out and that the service was configured that way so as to prevent my phone line from being tied up. Two Points: 1. I'm paying for the service (Netzero) and 2. I'm also paying for my phone line and it's no one's business, but mine how long my phone line is "tied up".I won't be a Netzero subscriber for much longer!

I hate netzero. I received a check for referring someone to them and I misplaced it and when I found the check' I sent it back to them to get a replacement check because my bank would not accept it, they never did send me another check nor contact me about it but I kept a copy of it an I am going to report everything to the better business bureau.
