My husband had a Layaway, at the Superkmart Center in Mentor, Ohio. We made our payments on time every 2 weeks! I went to get the Layaway out it was cancelled for no apparent reason and half the stuff was there and 4 pairs of men's shorts were gone! The head cashier said a male associate cancelled it by mistake! They claim they cannot find the shorts all stores within a 50 mile radius are sold out! I am upset! My husband and I will never shop at Kmart again! Who ever that Layaway associate is he should get fired! He probably took those shorts for himself!

I am horrified to see your latest commercial showing near toddlers talking and acting like gang members and criminals. ARE YOU CRAZY? This is not behavior our children should be emulating. It is so distasteful I promise if you do not pull it I will never shop at K Mart again AND I will make it a life mission to tell everyone I know and everyone I meet about K Mart's complete lack of respect for children and their parents.

I find your Ghetto talking commercial distasteful and offensive. Shouldn't we inspire the best in people not the worst. I will not buy anything from Kmart again at a store or online.

What are you people thinking?? Apparently you are targeting gang bangers as customers and since I do not fit in that category I will no longer be shopping at your stores, K-Mart or Sears! In what universe is it acceptable to have any young kid, much less elementary age kids acting like some gang banger thug?? And what on earth makes you think that would be good for business? Do you really think that people want their kids to act like that...so yeah, let's shop at K-Mart...maybe our kids will be thugs too!!! I just cannot impress on you enough how disgusting this is!!!

As a Black American, who served proudly in the military, I find your "Yo Mama" commercial extremely offensive. I will NEVER shop at Kmart again.

I totally agree with the previous post! Your hoody commerial and gang style is in extremely poor taste. KMart is racist! I will never shop at KMart again and you have a multitude of customers who will not be shopping either. KMart should watch the news and see the protests.

I find your newest commercial, kids on basketball court at school, detestable, distasteful, and most degrading for all black and Hispanic children and families. How dare you have young children act as if they are in a gang, speak like they are completely uneducated. K-Mart has added their name to the list of many who condone bad behavior by sending our children a message that it's ok to act and speak like uneducated, disrespectful and undisciplined children who do not care or respect themselves, their parents or others. Clearly, K-Mart doesn’t respect themselves, it’s obvious they do not respect me, the consumer. I will no longer shop K-Mart. Collectively, I spend an estimated $5,000 a year at K-Mart for my family of six. I’m shopping somewhere else, a company who respects America.

I have been in the process of trying to get a refund for a package I paid for but never RECIEVED. It has been a month now and all kmart does is give me the run around. I have had the same letter sent to me by their customer service five times now, I have spoken to three people over the phone and nothing has been resolved. It shouldn't take this long to get a refund. I will never shop at Kmart. Com or in their stores again. And I will inform my family not to either. Hire people that know what they are doing and that are patient with the customer and giving the customer attitude. SHAME ON YOU KMART!!!!!!!

Your latest ad on television is absolutely awful. The little kids jumping around and using words that a normal person can not understand. Yo Momma !!!!! What has happened to proper English??????

To those writing reviews on this site: your complaints are not actually being posted to K Mart regarding inappropriate gang-minded advertising. This is just a complaints board. If you want to let K Mart really know how you feel regarding their latest ad campaign make sure you go directly to K Mart corporate site. I have been in contact with them and protesting the use of playground children acting like gang thugs with unfavorable speech. I was notified that this was " a tongue in cheek" ad and they are sorry it is "offensive"- but as yet they are still running the ad. And for the poster that states it is "funny", I am perplexed by your response. Teachers are complaining about this ad with negative behavior impact. They should know- they deal with it everyday.

I am writing because I am disgusted by the current Kmart commercials that promote bullying at school. Granted, the kids are "complimenting" the things that their mothers purchased for them, but the commercial glorifies bullying behavior. As an educator, I find it reprehensible that Kmart would use such a commercial.

I am so sad and discussed that Kmart would think this "Back to School" commercial is acceptable advertising. I can't watch the channel that airs it, it is THAT discussing to me! Now you want me to rate this, there are no negative stars!!!! I have a problem leaving one star!!!

As a retired teacher, parent, and grandparent, I was shocked to see your choice of a "back to school" ad. Shouldn't everyone be striving to exemplify the best for our children?! The speech and the attitude portrayed in the ad is so very disappointing. I can't believe that K-mart Cooperation has no higher standards. Ads are meant to sell products, but unfortunately, I'm so dismayed with your ad, I will NOT be shopping for ANYTHING at k-mart in the future. If judgment is lacking in the ad department, I question where else judgment is lacking in your corporation! Please don't be a detriment to education. Our children deserve better!

This is nothing more than attitude perpetuation , what were you thinking. ??? This current attitude is a huge reason not to shop your stores. It's obvious that your advertising department wanted to get the attention of millions of Americans by their pathetic commercial. Well congratulations it has succeeded but in the worse possible way. I am offended by your lack of concern regarding the races that make up AMERICA. Your attempt to display what children say to one another either by words or by their body language is disgraceful. I would SERIOUSLY rethink your advertising stradegies.

Everyone posting negative comments regarding their recent commercial for Back To School clearly didn't listen. The children are giving compliments. I think it is brilliant and funny.
