I am a parent or a child who is in the schoolager room. My son has been at kindercare for 4 years now and I couldn't have asked for better. His teachers love him dearly and the staff treats us like family.. I have tried to take my son to other daycares due to a move but..... I wasn't treated with the respect and friendlyness. That we deserved. I drive the extra 20mins to bring him to kindecare because I trust in the staff and the wonderful director! I thank you for impacting our lifes.

As a ex employee I would like to write to let you know some concerns for the staff at kindercare..... in the past 3years you have piled on more duties and responsibilites to the teacher just to line your pockets more. You cut corners and expect your underpaid staff to pick up the slack..a pay freeze for 3 years is more than sick...... I know GOOD. HARD WORKING. OUT GOING teachers that have gone above and beyond have been there for 4 years and make less than $9.50 an hour.... they don't stay because they like the money its because they love their kids!!!! You take away cleaning company but for one day a week. and have staff clean.... yet expect to cut hours and labor.... you give no time to put boards up because you bark at the poor directors to cut. Cut cut..... it is unfair to ask the teachers to watch love and care for the kids yet find enough time to take breaks,do portfolios,dailys with standards listed on them, sweep mop get trash out put up boards get snack and tend to children who wake up plus get ready for afternoon activities and other tasks that come about..... you lose good workers due to the way you treat them..... if you want to run your good teachers out keep up at this rate with no raises and more tasks. Your quatilty of care will deminish and business will go down... its not a building that makes money or a name.... its the people inside that care for the children... start respecting your employees....

Kindercare lost my 3 yr child for 15-30 mins alone in an enclosed area. I was never notified till I got there. My child was very upset. Im very upset. Terrible feelings I'm going through. Anxiety. I put so must trust in Kindercare and they blew it. I dont even feel comfortable with a new daycare. Its just my world is upside down and Im trying to move on.

I'm the mother of two children that attend kindercare. And I have noticed that the staff is very over worked. And understaffed . I was at the school the day the district manager was there and overheard miss Fernandez talk to the director like trash. I could not believe what I heard. The director definetly has a harassment case here. My husband is a wrongful termination lawyer so I have seen many cases of harassment . Miss Fernandez is very unprofessional and from what I have seen she is doing a horrible job.because of miss Fernandez unprofessional behavior I have pulled my children outband decided to go to another day care. My children deserve the best and if kinder care is going to employee people like this then I will never take my children there ever again.

I worked at kindercare in folcorft for a few months What a joke that was. The director there is more into making friends then running the place You had teachers that thought they ran the place and did whatever they wanted Most of the time they just scream at the children Why would you allow teachers to scream and bang on things to correct children is crazy. I couldn't wait to get in a real daycare

If I could give 0 stars I would. This bitch allowed her "teacher" to ABUSE my child. This place should not be allowed to be in business. THE LUNCH LADY QUIT BECAUSE OF ALL THE ABUSE THIS BITCH ALLOWED IN HER CENTER! This place should be shut down it is BY FAR THE WORST DAYCARE!! My daughter will be scarred for life because of this center.

I am very unhappy with the management of the facility where my child goes. She has lost three different pairs of earings, of which two pairs were screw on. How can a 2yo unscrew her earings and take them out? Even though it was "addressed" it still happened 3 times. When she ran into a door, NO incident report was given to us. When another child pushed her and gave her a black eye, no incident report was given nor a phone call. When she had scratches on her face and down the length of her arm, no one noticed. When my husband got upset, he was told he can't pick her up anymore. Their negligence and lack of supervision is our fault. Strongly do not recommend Kindercare. Pay the extra $10-$20 a week and put them in a better facility.

I am an employee with Kindercare, as you can see, I work with KinderCare..not for them. I do not work for anyone but with them to help growth and development for myself and the company. I have had the opportunity to teach at a few kindercares and my experience have definitely help me to be where I am today. There are alot of centers where approach is not apporpriate, where...I would say teachers are being abused ( mentally, verbally and phsychologically) by management. While there are teachers who go above and beyond, there are some who don't care at all. I am currently in management and has taken it upon myself to make it happen. I say,when you have good excellent teachers, you must appreciate them, be honest and fair at all times. Sometimes you will be looked at like the bad one by being fair but the ones who is in for fairness will have no problem with that method. Having been a teacher, I have learnt that it is always best to experience what your staff encounter everyday in order to appreciate it. There is too many directors and AD's out there that has never been in the classroom and sometimes it is not what the text book teaches you but experience and common sense. To all those teachers out there who is with kindercare that go above and beyond, keep it up, you will be rewarded in some way or ther other in life. and to those who don't care less, it backfires sometime or the other, go find a job that you have a passion for, it will make your life less miserable and more at peace. I give Kindercare 3 stars because we need work and we need the right people to listen and the ones who talk, need to walk the walk and fight for what they believe in. I am doing it right now and I will fight for what is right and fair. The right person will eventually hear you and the contentness you will feel within yourself for the success you truly earn is a reward in itself. Sometimes it's the little things that kindercare misses, is the very thing that spells success. Treat your teachers well and they will stay and be motivated to stay with you. You can see a motivated teacher without searching for it. it's natural! Treat others like you would like to be treated. Good luck to all.

the kindercare in sterling heights on ryan n 16 is the worst center ive ever seen in my life. the director was the rudest person i have ever met she was belittleling and a liar. i wouldnt recommend this center to any one. if you want to be treated like a 2 year old instead of an adult please attend!! amber is a rude, garbage amazon of a women and deserve to be sent to kindergarten again her self to learn how to be nice to people. she took the misery of her life out on others. she is a horrible leader as she has been slappeed in the face my a parent and left a child outside on the playground alone. she has so respect for the parents that come in and out of the center and should be repremanded for her lack of customer service.

Why isn't Kindercare on www.esgr.org? Why does kindercare refuse to hire me? I have experience, a degree and in the Army National Guard! When I come home from deployment I hope I can get a career with Kindercare.

I am a teacher at a KinderCare in CT. I'm lucky to have great bosses and coworkers, but the treatment we get from corporate is unforgivable. I have been a full time preschool teacher for five years. I work very hard every day and have received numerous adknowledgements and awards. I make $12/hr and know that that's more than most of my coworkers. I worked a 9 hour shift today (ten, if you count the lunch hour I worked through) but can forget about being paid the legal rate for my overtime, since they use loopholes to evade it. I had to choose between paying the rent and the gas bill for the last three months. I am on food stamps. I pay for the most expensive healthcare plan KLC offers, and just found out that the dental work I need to repair a crown and end the chronic pain I'm having will cost $630 out of pocket, so simply can't get it. I shop at the dollar store each Christmas. I eat school lunch every day with the kids or I go hungry. Today I had a parent teacher conference in which a mom gushed about how important I am to her child and her family. I think my job is one of the most important jobs in the world. Why can't I have some dignity in exchange?

It looks as if everyone blames KinderCare for problems and events that happen to their most beloved entity... Perhaps if everyone really cared about their children, they wouldn't leave them with a stranger for 8 hours a day, and would take care of them themselves.

BEWARE OF KINDERCARE! Enough said, I hate this daycare. Its the worst daycare I have ever seen. At first it was good then slowly started getting worse with the 4 different directors the place has had within the last two years. All you ever hear when you walk in is the teachers yelling at the kids. I could go on and on all day with all the reasons why Im switching my daughter to a different daycare, but if I did, i would have wrote an entire book. lol. Thats why Im giving them one star. Only because I have to. But if i had a choice, they wouldnt even get one..

When I noticed the review page for Kindercare's worldwide I knew most of the reviews were going to be negative. Most reviews only point out the negative aspects of a business, no matter what it is. I want to write a more positive review, however, this center does have some major issues that need to be fixed. I am very happy with my child's teachers at this center. They we are all hard working, bubbly teachers who always greet me and my child with smiles! I was happy with how everything was ran until I started picking my child up in not one, not two, but three different rooms in a weeks period! I got there one time while they were in the process of moving my child crying and screaming to another room! When I asked his teacher she said that he was in the middle of a bottle and management called and asked for "numbers" and when they heard there were only 3 children they told her to stop what she was doing and get her kids ready to be moved so they could put her(the teacher) somewhere else to work. I know the teacher was unhappy but she still forced a smile for my sake and did as she was instructed. I don't think any teacher should be forced to do something that they know is not good for the children they care for everyday! And if you are going to have them working under these conditions at least show them some appreciation! This company is successful because of the teachers NOT the management because its obvious they don't care about anything but money! I have witnessed parents coming in to find that their child has been moved. What management fails to inform them is that their child was woken out of their sleep to be moved! They treat these kids like a business! It sounds like a casino instead of a childcare center. All you hear is "how many babies do you have? Ok bump 2 to inf 1 and 1 to inf 2" etc. This is not what I want to hear when I come to pick up my child. Half the time we parents can't even talk to our child's teacher about how their day went even though they are still in the building! I wanted to post this review for the TEACHERS at the Clybourn Kindercare. This is a positive review for you guys who work through so much crap and stress and are unappreciated! Thank you for loving my baby! If corporate cares anything about its teachers or these children for that matter maybe you will do something about this issue!

I am writing here to express my utmost disgust with KinderCare. From a parental standpoint I find it extremely awful that when I come to pick up my baby each day I don't know where to find her. As a new parent especially I feel like my daughters security and best interests are not a top priority. In the last few months I have noticed new furniture for the lobby area, new paint for the classrooms and a big screen tv. I have also seen broken and dirty toys that my child is touching and putting in her mouth. Tell me how a corporation such as this can afford new items for the waiting area but not provide new an clean toys for the children? Also, the menu is atrocious!! For the price I pay for "exceptional" care and "nutrious" meals, my daughter should be eating steak and lobster every day! Every time I walk into the center I can see the look of disinterest and lack of motivation on the teachers faces. How is that supposed to make me feel as a parent?? If the teachers are not motivated or treated with respect how are they supposed to give the best care to the children? I was a teacher before myself and I can tell you without a doubt that any school pulling the crap they pull at KinderCare would be shut down immediately. The center director at my daughters center is awful. Everyone on that management team is a joke. I have walked in on them just sitting around gossiping about the kids and sometimes the parents!! I think the people of KinderCare need to start thinking about their teachers and less about money.

I used to work at that place for several years and noticed that the center is changing for bad. Employees hours are being cut on regular bases and ratios- especially in the mornings- are over. Less children is attending and it's because of poor customer service of center director and her assistants. District manager - Jennifer Robinson-prefers to give money to add new furniture's and big screen tv to the waiting area then add new toys and equipment to the classrooms. The teachers pay is TERRIBLE!!! They do not get any incentives and positive feedback from their employee. Forget about any kind of bonuses or decent teacher appreciation gift. There is no one they can turn into to get help cause they won't get it. I've been there and know from my personal experience!!!

Kindercare is the worst school you can ever send your child to and i wouldn't recommend working there either! The center in Chicago IL, 1733 N Marcey is terribly ran! The directors are all careless airheads who think that new furniture that doesn't serve a purpose and doesn't even match is enough to make their center look better! Why dont you try treating your teachers with respect! Better yet, why dont you treat the kids with respect, and their families that you lie to everyday to cover your tracks! When you walk into the building the teachers look absolutely miserable! But how can you blame them when your hours are constantly being cut, kids are being moved from room to room, and when you come to work you don't know which room you are going to be in. As a parent, you do not want to find your child in a different room with a different teacher everyday! Think of how that effects the child! Or does that even matter? I mean after all its a CHILDCARE Center! God forbid the kids well being is put first! This company is all about money but everytime you turn around an unhappy teacher is leaving to nanny for a family who is willing to pay more because this very wealthy company refuses to pay them what they are worth! And the nerve of these damn directors! When i approached them about my child being moved all the time they had the nerve to tell me that it is a corporate thing! Well i'm putting this on CORPORATES website so CORPORATE can do something about this situation before even more families start pulling their kids out!

True, true, true. I actually just got fired from there, like it was nothing, after being appointed Toddler teacher. The director is a joke, she has favorite teachers who get away with everything. We weren't dirty like other people say but they constantly enroll, with no room to put kids. 14 infants enrolled in a small room, with only 9 available cribs?? There is also constant shuffling of children, because of over-enrollment. I always thought they were one of the better centers, but I was wrong. The teachers are great, don't get me wrong, but KinderCare needs to take a look at its management.

I worked at Kindercare for almost 8 years and I just could not stand it anymore. All that it was there was cliques and taking about other staff, other children and even parents behind everyones back...including the managament(even they would talk about everyone, even families behind their backs). The staff there were always just sitting in their classroom talking with their friends or other teacher and not paying attention to the children. When it would be time to go outside, they would just stand around talking to each other again. It just makes me sick!!!!
