Whats the big deal on selling hollister room spray so many people love the smell please start selling it
My daughter has worked for Holister Clothing co. for a little over a year. Today she called to let me know the manager was not there yet to open the store while she sat outside waiting, the manager did show up 40 mins. later. She has also complained to me about how poorly the store is run, for instance, the cashier also has to open the fitting room for customers leaving a line for both waiting. The employees are assigned a "room" to work in and are NOT allowed to leave that space even to show a customer where a requested item is in another part of the store. The turn over in management is great. The discount they allow the employees is laughable, however they are STRONGLY encouraged to purchase the latest styles in the store all the while making minimum wage. (employees are not allowed to wear any other clothing BUT Holister while on the job). So give the kids a break-speak to the manager if you have a problem. I can only encourage my daughter to quit while she can still use this experience as a reference.
i have my fave sweatshirt and was gonna get a bigger size and it was a month later and it was gone and i cant find it anywhere else
I went to Hollister today to do some shopping with my son and my two grandaughters. We were at the Triangle Town Center Mall in Raleigh North Carolina. But before we went in the Hollister store we had rented one of the stroller carts from the mall and put my grandaughter in it and went in the store. As we started shopping one of the employees named Martina came up to us and told us we couldnt have the stoller cart in there because of safety issues. I asked her why when they bring those big bulky strollers in why was this one different from a regular stroller? she just said that it was store policy and we would have to take it out. Well that just pissed me off and it pissed my son off so we put back what we were going to buy and I went up to the register and I told them what happened that I was going to report this. I spend alot of money at Hollister and I feel like what she did was uncalled for. To me I felt embarrassed by the way she approached us and made that kind of scene in front of the people that were in there shopping. I will not do anymore business in that store again. Hollister needs to let me know if that is there policy and if it is it needs changing. They do not need to have a store in the mall if you cant enter it with one of the rented strollers. and anyway they dont need the store to be so cramped up that you cant shop in there without walking on someone. I will call the corporate office about this but I wanted to make everyone aware of Hollister's ignorance. This is discrimination!!!!!
I am very displeased with holluster .. I spend a lot of money in there as I have 2 teenage kids who will only wear holluster !! When I went to the countryside mail store I was purchasing 2 jackets and when I went to write a check they said their systems were down and could only take cash !! Really!!! Who carries cash ?? They were rude about it and when I asked the manager who was probably 18 if he coyld hold my purchase till the next day since I lived an hour away and they were clising soon he refused !! Great way to do business Hollister !!! Please the customer right ???Wrong !!!!!
almost had it out with the lackless employees at hollister at garden state plaza in paramus, NJ, today. i have some gift cards to use so i stopped in for a very quick look and found a very cool zip up hoodie. it was awesome and hanging on a $20 sale rack. i walk around for longer than i anticipated confused between this and another aqua hoodie also on the same rack. i finally go to pay only to be told that it wasn't on sale and had been placed in the wrong spot!! i inform him that there were like 2-3 other hanging there as well and that it's not my fault. he goes to investigate and brings over the manager who showed a bit of a "tude" and said he could not help me and that it was in fact "not on sale". when i again said it's not fair to the customer, he replied "it must have been one of the kids working here who misplaced them". as i leave the store i see some of those "kids" joking and not doing their job. if not for being in a hurry i would have turned right around but i will be informing Hollister about my experience. i like the music but it's a bit loud. also the store is dark, i agree. and i like the smells.

Geez, where do I begin? Hollister pretty much sums up what's wrong with today's world/youth!! I walked into the Watertown,NY store today with my 13 year old son and I was instantly pissed off and in a fowl mood because the music (if you want to call it music) was so loud. I immediately asked the young girl behind the cash if she could turn down the music, she of course said "no"!! Not even a "sorry but I can't", just simply no. The store is too dark, music too loud and I was embarrassed to walk through the mall carrying the Hollister bag! What the hell are you promoting? Two teenaged kids half naked making out on the bag. Does the US not have enough teen moms with unwanted pregancies? I will never shop at Hollister again, I'm tempted to return the clothing I purchased today, the only reason I won't is to disappoint my son. He shouldn't have the price for a poorly run cooperation targeting you g and impressionable kinds. Guess you can't shop there if you're bigger than a size 0! Wake up America, don't support these clowns!!
I don't think its the managers or asociates that are to be blamed ...its the corporation! They have poor employee relations.. Underpaid..store have no security and the employees are expected to deal with shop lifters hollister in staten island new york is the worst...The store is loud and dark therefore it draws the lower class crowd of thieves. I have witnessed employees being harassed by gangs of thugs!! But corporate does not think the employees and customers are worthy of a safe enviorment. Employees hate their JOBS therfore you get what you pay for! Besides the fact that the clothing is nothing less than overpriced rags! $50 jeans that leave blue dye all over everything and after the first washing they look like something that came from the charity bin! I will never shop there again! Also it is a know fact that they discriminate...if you apply for a job you have to be attractive...if you are not up to their standard but do qualify..you will get a job in the STOCK ROOM.. Where no one will see you! I plan on taking this to the community board and the press! Be safe Stay out of HOllISTER!

LG Listen to this!!! I will go to the media with you. My daughter and friend were shopping today for xmas gifts. As they entered the store they noticed a man following them in. My daughter was wary of this persons behavior. They continue to shop around picking a top up for a grab gift for a party, Head to the register of course it is ten people deep two line one register. Girls decide to forget the shirt and come back later. They FOLD the shirt and put it back exit the store. My daughter was nervous about this plane clothed man following them telling her friend lets go that guy is still following us. At this point the girls are in full blown panic and think this guy is ready to obduct them. Half way down the mall she turns and see him running at them. She starts screaming for help, police, stanger anything to get help for this person after them. He charges them rips her bag grabs her friend by her coat bringing her back in the other direction. All the while my daughter is screaming for help as she thought this man was kidnapping her friend. A women helps her get her friend. mall security comes the girls explanes what happened. Come to find out the man does work for the store and thought they were stealing. So this thug attacked my child and her friend! At what point was he going to reveal himself??? Clearly not before he terrorized them. contemplating going to the police to file a report??
3 orders, I have finanlly learned my lesson!! They offer "great deals" that are too good to be true, and they are! They never deliver the goods!! NEVER! They say they are sold out but when you go into the site to purchase it at regular price....walaaa...just like magic, it's there. BOYCOTT HOLLISTER!! When I asked the "customer service rep" David V to speak to a supervisor he said he was. I could tell he was taking the call from his home and he told me "IT WAS NONE OF MY BUSINESS WHERE HE WAS TALKING TO ME FROM"!!
I ordered a hoodie for my daughter three weeks ago. I received a pair of pants instead. I emailed customer service to inform them of HOLLISTER'S error. I was told I would have to return the wrong item at my own expense. I was then charged for a second item and was overcharged by $15. I decided to call customer service and was helped by a very nice woman who said she had fixed everything. Five days later my item still has not shipped and my order is still in limbo, so I called back. I spoke to Nikisha - the RUDEST person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. She interrupted me, sighed at me, was short with me and eventually hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. So I called back. I spoke wiht a very nice lady who explained the problem with my order and said she could do nothing to help speed the process along. She told me that before my order would ship, Hollister would conduct an investigation to find out why I was sent the wrong item in the first place. That is NOT my problem. I paid for an item and I want it. I should not have to wait for my replacement that I paid for THREE WEEKS ago until Hollister figures out what THEY did wrong. I will also be writing a letter to their corporate office.
My son bought a sweatshirt in the taunton, ma store on black friday. He realized afterwards it didn't fit right and tried to return it. He was told the computers were down and he would have to come back a different day. He had his receipt! He went back the next day and was told once again he could not return it or he could take the sale price which he did not pay. He was told his receipt wasn't scanning because the computers were down and to come back another day. They can't override the price and put in the price he paid. They MUST scan the receipt. INSANITY!
If there was zero thats what hollister deserves in my opinion I was in there today and at 6am and got some stuff when I got home I realize I was overcharged and so I worked a way around my busy day to go back to the store and get it fix the manager was extremely rude and didn't really want to help fix a the mistake that they made telling me that I had to return the next day after I had drove 45mins to get there . I wasn't surprise the customer service is below expectation it funny that they dont appreciate their customers because without customers their store will not even exist . They don't value their customers and its sad cause eventually they wont have any customers
Today I was Christmas shopping for my 2 teenagers. Most of the customers were Moms like me in their 40's. We all agreed, the fragrance is too strong, the music too loud and the lights too low. I asked to have the music volumed lowered but was told it is at a corporate set level. I had to leave the smell was so strong, I was nauseated. I actually checked the noise level with an app on my iphone, which read 90 decibels. I checked in Ontario[ if you care] this is the max allowed for an 8 hour shift. Most workplaces and schools in Ontario are fragrance free. The kids that work in retail generally do not know the labour laws and like working in a popular fashion store, so I intend to call the ministry of labour to see what can be done. There is no other store at our mall that presents these condition. I could go on about overpriced merchandise, ad with kids making out or teenage[if that] in sensual poises but I'm guessing you don't care.
customer service sucks. everytime i walk in there, i get a stuck up look from snobby sales associates. they never even say hey how are you? and if they do its always cold they just do it bc they feel like they have to. and also i never feel comfortable to ask an associate a question because they give you an attitude. other than the poor customer service, the store is great.
I am so extremely DISAPPOINTED in the fact that Hollister chose not to offer the TRADITIONAL kaki school pants ( last year 2010-2011). I even tried online with no luck! The skinny pants were all that was offered, unfortunately we are not allowed to wear that type of pant at our school. Me and several of my girlfriends, had to buy school pants at American Eagle or Areopostale! Give us a choice or BRING BACK the TRADITIONAL KAKI PANT for GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!
