our expectations met

The Groupon for a chimney sweep was more than reasonably priced. The scheduling app't went smoothly with no hassels. The client company was very good & offered expert knowledgable about the efficient workings of our whole brick fireplace. This company is now added to our go-to-database for household maintenance or problems. We would recommend the client company to our friends. Thank you to Groupon for introducing us!

I have been receiving your adds for more than a year for an area I do not live in-solution, change the area. Done that but still getting wrong area. Decided to clean up things and unsubscribe-you know what happened next-your ploy to make people feel guilty is shameful, horrendous and abusive. Would never use your site again more because of that!

Sucks

Unfortunately I keep giving Groupon a second, third, fourth chance and they keep failing me. First of all the shipping is forever and they use DHL which is so unreliable. My last experience was completely their fault, but they didn't want to do anything about it. They throw these customer service emails that are basically computer generated.

ripoff

My daughter and I purchased a trip to vegas. Needless to day.. scam. The company wont even respond or answer. The trip was $99 each. Now they say we need to pay $298 nore. Each. Wth. ?,?,,?

how come there are no working phone numbers for customer service?? This company is a scam to the merchant and consumer!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Outdated ordering system

Groupon is unable to ship goods of any kind to the millions of us in the United States who do not get home mail delivery. I live in such a community and have to go to the post office to get my mail from my PO Box. Groupon refuses to ship to PO Boxes and will not ship to my physical address because they use the outdated USPS database which shows my physical address as undeliverable.Hard to believe that they are willing to lose so many customers because their system will not allow them to add a shipping address manually.

Payout Fiasco

I am a merchant who has used groupon multiple times. The past few times there have been mistakes in regards to payments but this time groupon failed to update my banking information and deposited 6K into a closed account. I was told that groupon has to wait to get their money back before the can pay me. It was their mistake and I will no longer service groupon customers. I guess they would rather give refunds to the tune of 16K then support a very successful business for them!

mobil 1 oil change

Bought this groupon thinking it was a good deal getting 3 oil changes. First oil change went fine. Second time I went in the guy turned me away saying they didn't have any filters only after I mentioned I had the groupon. Came back 9 days later and was asked to have my transmission flushed for 120 dollars. When I declined the guy said oh we don't have the filter sorry come back on friday. I made a complaint with esso since mobile is a parent company. Trying to file a complaint with groupon but looks like I'm not the only one with a complaint. Next step is better business bureau

another refund refusal

Purchased an ice bar voucher which was refused at the merchant in Vegas. Requested a refund and was told no. I pointed out that the ticket read under the refund section " if the merchant refuses to honor for any reason Groupon will refund the amount period". Again I was told sorry with no explanation to the refund policy. This is outright fraud and I am reporting it to the authorities. I'm done with them, Time to spread the word, stay away.

LOUSY Company

This company is lax, immature, juvenile and never ships on time BUT they DO take your money ASAP!!! They take their good old time in getting your purchase out to you - I've made my last purchase with them!!!

Rip-off--filing formal complaints!

Groupon is a very sneaky company and should be audited by appropriate representatives to discover their very unprofessional & unethical business practices! We recently had an issue with trying to buy a Starbucks Groupon and they refuse to assist us with the issue. The deal says one per person. It does not say one per card used to make the purchase. My husband & I both use the same debit card, but when he tried to buy an ecard for himself, he was denied. This is not ethical and I am filing complaints with the BBB and Attorney General in my state. This has to stop!!

Will not be using Groupon

I purchased a Groupon in Nov. 2012 and the merchant ( Wine Insiders) has not followed thru with terms. I have often contacted Groupon with complaint but they have not contacted the merchant to rectify this problem nor has Wine Insiders sent a refund check as yet. Going on four months with this problem. I will not be ordering from Groupon in the future. Another reason is they seem to be having a problem with the 2nd Amendment to the Contitution.

SUCKS!

My friends and I bought Groupons for a Paddleboaring lesson. We were very excited to try it out. After two weeks of attempting to contact the merchant to schedule an appointment, we were still unsuccessful because NO ONE answered the phone or got back to us. We decided to file a complaint with Groupon and asked for a refund. One girl was refunded in Groupon Bucks, the other one was refunded her money into her actual account. When I asked for the latter, I was told it was not possible and they could only give me Groupn Bucks. I am taking this issue to corporate and hoping it will be resolved. If one person can be refunded their money, why can't someone else?! This company is a hoax. Stay away!

Poor Package Handling

Because they misrepresent the actual method they use for shipping items Groupon is an absolute Failure at delivering parcels purchased from them. Signed: Disappointed Former Customer

Groupon has changed.

I was going to follow up with Corporate but after seeing the pages and pages of negative comments, I don't think I'll bother. Groupon used to be the best at handling Customer Service, the best. But I've had too issues in six months and the answers that you get back say 'no one has read anything you need help with but we'll write back anyway and ask how the weather is'. You can continue to ask for help and they continue to disregard why you wrote. i.e. Q. I haven't received the correct item. A. And why do you want to go to mars? What??! The whole company is out to lunch. Except the CEO, who's now at home. Maybe that will help.

Disappointed Merchant

Very disappointed in how we merchants are treated once we sign up. The representative is very helpful and persuassive in the beginning in order to get you to sign an agreement, but once you do...they totally IGNORE YOU. I made several attempts to my rep for help and questions and never received a phone call back! This was my first and LAST experience running a campaign with Groupon.

Booooo!

Groupon - I used to like you, but now you suck. I had a few groupons go unused, you used to put them back on my account as Groupon Bucks, now you tell me that I must still use them with the vendor. You've changed, and for that reason I am no longer going to give you another dime. Your customer support staff sucks. I plan to file a States Attorney complaint against you - enjoy! And, you only got 1 star because this feature wouldn't allow me to give you none!

Disappointing customer

Very hard to deal with this customer service. Very frustrated with my experience with this company they offer deals the are confusing for customer. And they never meet promised.

Refund/ credit

I purchased 4 wks Bollywood dancing classes. I am familar with Groupon as I have made several purchases in the pass. The site is very good of providing you with information. I donot recall seeing the schedule for the classes on Groupons site. When I went to book my class the schedule did not fit my schedule. They only offer class 2 days a week. I called Groupon to see if I could get a refund or even a credit, but was denied. Not pleased with Groupon
