Our Manager is AWESOME....Our new Owners SUCK!! We have not had hot water in 5 weeks, I know for a fact that the Health Dept has been called....3 times in one day before Thanksgiving...They came out the Wednesday after.....Didn't close us down but said our Hot Water Heater is not doing the job for it is A Hot Water Heater for a family of 4.....Yeah...

I just came from Denny's #8028 in Sacramento, CA, where I was yelled at and treated VERY rudely by the manager in charge. When I tried to get some assistance (since our server was ignoring us), he snapped at me for waving to him a 2nd time when it appeared he thought I was just giving him a friendly gesture the first time. Then when he came to the table, I asked him for his name and told him it is unacceptable to treat customers that way, and he got beligerent with me, telling me he did not like my attitude when I first arrived. All I had done was sit down on the bench to wait for my friend, but he accused me of "turning my nose up at him" when he asked if I had been helped (total lie), refused to give me his name, and refused to help me. I will never go to that Denny's again, nor will the friend I was with. When I call to report him, hopefully he will be harshly disciplined. When I was a manager, anyone who treated customers so poorly was terminated immediately, no questions asked.

The reason I am making this complaint today is because of the manager that work with at the Denny's in Novi, MI. I have been a employee for this company for the last year straight, and worked off and on for this company for over 13 years. This is the first time in my employment history with this company that the manager do not believe in costumer satisfaction. My number one goal I thought when I was hired in was to make every guest have the best dinning experience in a clean environment to keep them coming back,also tell there friend and family how great of a place we are to eat at. Over the last few months our night manager have been making that vary difficult to do. The first incident about how Alix talk to all the colored employees. He is vary disrespectful and rude to hes employees. I do have some conversation recorded. The next incident is when I had a table of 8 and about 1.30 am the table ask for 8 glasses of water and a craft of water to go with there meal. since it was right before bar rush plus the guess specifically for a craft of water I provided it for them. Alix wanted me to go to the table and remove the craft because the craft was only for juice. If we did not have that many craft i would understand but we have 2 racks of crafts and that is what the guess requested. i let hem know that he should go enplane that to the table, instead he sent me home for the night. In the month of December this year with the new menu we replaced a few items that we still have the stuff to make it with such as the Santa fa skillet. we have a guess that came in and requested one of the skillet but Alix would not let the cook make it for him because it is not on the menu. How can i provide outstanding costumer service if the manager will not let me? I do believe the manager is a an unjust manager and if this keep up law suit will be in the near future. What ever happen to costumers first?

I tend to have a higher expectation of ones personal and professional performance..I can say this establishment has met that expectation. Kendra, and others in Denny's are positive, professional and it is a real pleasure to be in their environment.. food was Very Acceptable Service was as better than I expected Cost is acceptable to normal lower cost dinning ...and a positive setting Stop in today... i can not speak for all of the Denny's out there, However i can speak for this one "Lafayette, INDIANA Denny's" this is one place im sure to visit again . 4260 State Road 26 E Lafayette, IN 47905-4817 (765) 448-1007

Denny's restaurants in York Pa and Westminster Maryland are two of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever visited. The carpets are not only dirty, but worn so bad they could not possibly be cleaned. The bathrooms are horrendous, the toilets are filthy, especially in Westminster Maryland. The urinal was not working and the closet bowl was filthy dirty, the walls were black with dirt around the baseboards. Doesn't the corporate office care about those who franchise theses establishments. I enjoy eating at Denny's but all the time i am dining I think about what the kitchen must look like. Ed

After reading other reviews on Denny's I can see major problems with this resturant. Wish I would have read them before going there. Visted the Denny's in Amarillo Texas, we were seated ordered chocolate milk to drink took long enough to get 2 then it tasted like powedered chocolate milk, orderd the prime rib skillet breakfast also ordered the super bird sandwich for me about 10 mintues went by then the waitress came out said they didn't have the prime rib (really) he then orered the same sandwich I did, in between our waiter said he fell behind because they were having a staff meeting! Cost $21.95 with not good service or food. Also a table was not bussed the entire time we were there!!

I JUST STARTED WORKING FOR DENNYS AND I HAVE BEEN IN 3 DIFFERENT CORPERATE STORES AND ALL THEM ARE DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY, I WONT EAT IN THE STORE I WORK IN.I ATE ONE TIME AND GOT SICK. THE EXCUSE IS WELL YOUR OKAY FOR A 24 HRS PLACE. THERE CANT BE DIFFERENT STANDARDS FOR RESTAURANTS. DENNYS NEEDS TO DO THEM SELF A FAVOR AND CLOSE YOUR STORES EVERYDAY AT A CERTAIN TIME SO THEY CAN CLEAN. THE PEOPLE WORK IN DENNYS ARE SO NEGATIVE AND THAT INCLUDES MANAGERS. SOME PEOPLE HAVE NOT SEEN RAISES IN 3 YEARS AND THE COMPANY MAKES EVERYONE WORK ON CHRISTIMAS DAY. I HEAR HORRIBLE STORIES ABOUT WORKERS KIDS CRYING BECAUSES THERE MOM OUR DAD WILL NOT BE HOME WHEN THEY OPEN THERE GIFTS. I HAVE ONLY ONE THING TO SAY ABOUT THAT , SOMEONE IS GOING TO HELL.

The Dennys located at 42nd ave/Odessa TX Parking lot is too small to even be able to park. Order was lost. People seated after us I asked for a waitress to take their order and they got their food before we did. Waitress took a break--our food was cold and incorrect will NOT return Angela-432-978-0234

I just left the Denny's in Texas City, Tx. I am not a happy camper! I went to get two bowls of soup to go. After I made the order and waited 10 minutes for my order I asked the young man that took my order how long it took to get two bowls of soup. He then told me they did not have a cook on duty from 2pm until 4pm and he had to find the manager to come fix my food. I asked him what they did if customers came in to eat a meal instead of just getting soup to go. He told me the customer had to wait for either the manager or a cook to show up to get their food. At this point I am really not happy. I told him to just give me my money back and I would go get my soup elsewhere. He then told me the manager would have to ok my refund. I asked him how the manager was going to ok my refund when they could not find him to fix my soup and he told me I would have to wait. Finally the manager came out and told me he would fix my soup for me. So after another 10 minutes the waiter came out with my soup, told me the bread that goes with it would be another few minutes. Needless to say I told him nevermind the bread, I just took the soup and left. With their prices and their service no wonder no one goes there!! So my experience today cost me at least 20 minutes and $8.61 for two bowls of soup! NEVER AGAIN!!!

I am currently not allowed in the Dennys here in Bolingbrook Il. I fell asleep after ordering some food one late night and i'm cursed. What it realy comes down to is there are 2 individuals whom I have had to complain about the food and service. So they have lied to their manangers saying they "feel threatened". I have asked the managers to please view the video. There is no abususive language or behavior. I was working 2jobs 7 days a week and had a reaction I didnt expect to medication. They don't want to hear it. This was over 6 months ago. I'm just finding out that their response is I shouldn't be allowed in the store if I am "drunk", and since they can't test for that I just can't be allowed at all. Not at 9 in the morning or 9 at night. These are the words of managers Robert given to him by dist. mng. Edward. Attempting to get service 2 days ago they asked me to leave the building. Unbelievable!!!

dennys resturant has such poor service its not even funny, they also have all illegals working in the resturant, there service is poor, there manager are lazy, and the food takes forever this resturant is such a joke

I and my son Daniel went to have lunch at Denny's near the Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, San Diego county at around 1 pm on Monday Oct. 11, 2010, Columbus Day. We ordered a Chicken Pecan Salad, which is shown in the menu with 8 large plump pieces of chicken. We have often enjoyed this dish at other Denny's such as the one on Rosecrans Street near the junction of Highways 8 and 5 - we always shared it and enjoyed it thoroughly in the past. However, on Monday, today, the salad arrived, and I split it between me and my son. Then we went to eat it, but I could find NO CHICKEN AT ALL on my plate. Then I checked my son's plate, and there were two and a half small pieces of chicken. I called the waitress, showed her the menu and what she had seved us. She started to argue with us that it was OK. I asked to talk to the manager, and he started arguing that the amount of chicken on my place (I had meanwhile put one and a half of my son' two and a half pieces on my plate) was correct. I pointed out that the menu showed 8 plump, large pieces of chicken, as I had been served previously in other Denny' restaurants. He smart-alecky asked if I wanted the cook to cut th2 two and a half pieces into 8 pieces. AT THAT POINT WE JUST WALKED OUT. Unless Denny's takes care of this problem, makes up to both me and my son for (i) disappointing us, (ii) leaving us hungry when we tried to order lunch, and (iii) keeping us late for our appointment, WE WILL NEVER EAT AT ANY DENNY'S RESTAURANT AGAIN. R-I-P--O-F-F. The manager, the cook and the waitress should all be FIRED!!. They tried to STEAL FROM US. I am also making a formal complaint to Denny's corporate to give them an opportunity to take care of this problem and make amends, OR LOSE MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AS CUSTOMERS FOREVER!!

This is about the Denny's in Arlington,Tx. off sixflags Dr and Watson Rd..... i was going there atleast once a week.there was a server there, older lady, short stocky,grey hair that is rude and slow.i heard her make remarks about black people, and how we don't leave tips and she hates waiting on us. i talked to the manager afew times and the ole girl still talks her stuff about us.she forgot our drinks, salads soups.forgot we were there!!! please!!!!she brags about making sure people get fired if she has anything to say about it.she laughed about it.bad attitude and rude. but acts so sweet that i was taken back when i just sat back and watched the last time i was there. last time i was there the middle of august this year.kelly was the manager, sweet lady but she has to do what the manager tells her to do. some friends stopped there at denny's this past friday, only because they just left six flags and were starved. seems this same lady is still there so i guess it's alright and condoned what is said about us people of color. my friends told me they heard a man say he was sorry he didn't know she was walking so close behind him. they did not know what happened but shortly later when they were leaving this grey haired older lady was at the counter to pay their bill, she had a slight smile on her face talking to another server about how "robert" is finally gone, he got fired. what i'm wondering is how far will she go to get rid of someone she doesn't like... seems she had it in for this man robert and she seems to have taken care of her problem!!!!! none of us will ever be back to that dennys starving or not!!!! and if we get good service we leave good tips!!!!

What a horrible place, with horrible service. My friends and i waited for an hour and watched people come and go and when we finally complained our server asked us if we wanted our food to go. I will never set foot in another denny's again in my life and will go to the end of the earth to make sure that i do everything in my power to stop everyone i know and dont know for that matter from ever going to this so called restaurant. As for wether it was corporate or a franchise, it was a franchise but makes no difference to me corporate sells their name to these people so are held responcible in my book

The Denny's at 11161 RESEARCH PLAZA WAY RICHMOND, VA 23236 had very poor customer service the tables were dirty the cooks in the back were dirty. I had to get up and ask for my own napkins even though the waitress was not busy. Some of the kitchen workers returned from their smoke brake outside and went directly to the back to cook without washing their hands. And worst of all me and my husband developed a case of food poisoning within 8 hours of eating there. We tried to contact the manager to report this but he just said he would report it to his manager and we would receive a call back but that never happened. And we will never eat at another Denny's again.

That's funny, they want us to rate the restaurants from 1-5, what about 0? My husband travels with work, so he eats out alot. This evening he is in Winchester, Virginia, so he stopped at Denny's for dinner. He was there for about 15 min before he was waited on, then when the waitress finally stopped to take his order, she made the excuse that she was really busy. However, there are only a couple of other people there right now. He ordered his food, then she went straight to another table and took another person's order, who just sat down. My husband sat and waited for over an hour before he found his waitress to ask why he had not recieved his food, but the other person had already eaten his food and left. She said that the cooks were slow, then the manager brought him his food and said that it was the waitress's fault because she left his food sitting in the window for over 30 minutes. Several issues there, first, why is the manager trying to serve food that has been sitting for over 30 min, and why dont they all just accept responsibility and stop blaming each other??? From the other complaints here, why are they still in business?????

On Tuesday Sept.28th My wife and I decided to give Denny's another chance because of our past experiences. We went in with a positive attitude,thinking,it's Tuesday and service will be better than on weekends. But No-ooo it was worse, after the waitress took our orders, we sat drinking our coffee and waiting for our food. We sat and waited and waited and waited,our waitress came by and apoligized saying sorry it's taking so long. we waited about 30 minutes and finally we got up and talked to the manager and the general manager about the bad service. The manager investigated right away, come to find out the waitress forgot to turn in our order. Now I'm going to tell about the previous time we were there, the waitress took our order ,after a while we started noticing other customers were getting their food and we had been there way before them, then we noticed our waitress was at the front desk just talking away with other employees while our food was getting cold , so we motion another waitress and we told her our problem and she said I don't know where your waitress is at the moment so we pointed to where she was. So she went ahead and brought our food to us . Our food was a little cold , we also talked to the manager about that waitress. For sure we will never go to Denny's again .

On friday the 24th of Septenmber , I visited the ONLY Denny's in Watertown New York and was greeted professionally .I was seated and I placed my order..Then I couldn't help but to overhear a african american american gentleman talking loudly on his cell phone very far from where I was seated! I complained to my waitress and she went to the manager , who in turn went to the gentleman, low and behold this didn't make any difference because he just kept talking on his cell phone!Needless to say, there were three managers on duty that night and apparently they were scared to say anything out of fear of a lawsuit? This is what my waitress told me! I told the manager when I paid my bill that I would never , ever go there again! It sucks because I went to the same Denny's two years ago before it was shut down for whatever reason..and everything was fine, not this time however! So in closing I feel that all Denny's emplyees should receive some type of equal opportunity awareness/training as we get in the military.Thank you.

(This review is for the Denny's at 7375 State Street in Rockford, IL) We live an hour away from this Denny's in Rockford, IL, and while we have an awful Denny's in our home town of Palatine, IL we will stop at the Rockford Denny's when we're traveling through Rockford. We no longer visit the Denny's in Palatine because it has many of the faults of the other Denny's mentioned at this web site. So, the Rockford Denny's rates a "10" and is clean, well managed and everything you hope it will be.

I am staying at the best western carriage inn, in sherman oaks. CA. The dennys that is attached to the hotel and who ever is in charge of ordering the food should be fired, this dennys seems to alway be out of ingredients. I have been coming to dennys everyday for a month. The ran out of hamburger buns, how does this happen at a hamburger joint. They ran out of cheese sticks for the new cheese stick sandwich. You get the idea
