i have been getting my perscriptions filled at costco on richmond dr in houston because iam on disability and dont have any insurance or medicare untill 2/2014 because of the 2 year wait for medicare to start for disability and the price of my medications at costco are the only place that i can afford .But the last few times i have been there they say they are out of my medications and wont let me drop off my perscriptions saying i need to check back the next day but they told me they have medications delivered everyday so why cant they keep my perscriptions and fill them when they get the delivery?Isnt that what the drop off window at the pharmacy is for? to drop off your perscriptions.dosent make sense to me and when i ask they get really rude there should really be something done about this problem .people like me that are on disibility cant afford to keep driving back everyday to be told they still dont have the medication. they use to keep my perscriptions and fill them the next day.has anyone elese had this problem at this store and is there anything we can do about it . let me know

Carlene, employee at Costco, pompano and sample rd., she's an exceptional lady, who goes above and beyond, she always seems to get it right, a determined problem-solver, and always with a smile. I try to seek her out because she's such a joy and a great resentation of your company, I recommend her for corporate.

I think opening a Costco in Colorado at E470/I70 area would be very beneficial. It's a fast growing area and lots of travelers in that area. Please consider this for a future store area.

Roundup

My concern involves the selling of Monsanto's Roundup. Last year I filed a complaint with corporate office asking the company not to sell this stuff, listed my reasoning and explained how toxic the product was for the environment, food products, animal and human health. Of course, I never received a reply and now wonder if whoever read that e-mail just tossed it in the trash. Roundup is not a safe product. People who buy it do so because of that dumb little ad where there's a weed and one squirt of Roundup gets rid of it...such a eyecatching ad. They don't care what's in it, how it affects everything and the long-term impact of that poison. There's all kinds of scientific data out there on this product and none of it is positive. Costco always says" it respects and takes care of its members and shareholders." I wonder about the impact of this statement. If your research department did its research properly, the company wouldn't be endangering the safety of the environment. Shame on you, Costco!!!!!

Poor quality oranges

The fruit from Costco if frequently of sub par or worse. It is not so much the looks of the fruit as the taste. It is virtually impossible to get good oranges at Costco. They are *almost always* dry and without sweetness. It makes me wonder whether you test or try the product before you sent it to the stores? It is extremely annoying to spend time purchasing oranges and then to have to take them back because they are not eatable. I suggest you allow customers to taste the fruit before purchase to spare the annoyance of getting bad fruit and not waste mine and your employees time with returns. Thanks, Lars Jensen Reno, NV

halal chicken

I have noticed that the halal chicken is not available at all locations. I wanted to request the halal organic coleman chicken at the Beaverton, OR location and Tigard, OR. There is a huge market for halal products here as it doesn't have too many dedicated stores. only two big stores and the quality of their meat is questionable. We trust Costco and its products. Rude/No Follow Through

I purchased a Dell Laptop from Costco and completed the set up successfully the first night. In less than 24 hrs after my purchase, it was not functioning. Called the Costco Concierge Services for free technical support. The young man was extremely rude during the entire call. He walked me through several options with no avail. He then connected me to Dell Support. The Concierge kept trying to release the call to Dell but insisted that I schedule a follow up phone appt. with him for a set time which I was not available for. We finally settled on a time and he never called. Dell eventually successfully fixed the problem a few days later, they were polite and professional. I really like the Dell product however I believe the service provided through the Costco Concierge was clearly unprofessional and not helpful!!!!

Rude Cashier

I have been member for costco since I was 18 years old. When the manager asked to check my ID, the cashier just snatches the debit card from my hands, when I told him I didnt have my ID. Then he just throws it back. I forgot my costco card, and needed to find my friend with my card. When I asked for 1 day pass, they were rude. Then it resulted into the above. Rude teller

I went to the Costco in Kennewick Wa with my wife and parents. When it came time to pay the lady made a comment that the card holder would be the only that could pay. Fine I under stand but the lady didn't need to be so rude about it! So when my wife calls to let a manager know about the service she gets the 3 rd degree and not an sorry for the poor customer service. Contemplating leavening my member ship.

gas

I have a $150.00 pending for gas on my AMEX card for a week now. Do to a malfunction I didn't pump a drop of gas on that card swipe. NO ONE will take it off. I have talked numerous times to AMEX & Costco "customer service". I just get the run around. When I call "customer service" there is anywhere from a 10 to 15 minute wait to get to someone who is rude & won't help you. Calling Corporate Office gets you no where either.

Costco Mortgage Services

I filled out the paperwork for a refinance through Costco Mtg. The mortgage partner I was directed to proved to be totally incompetent. I called Costco Mortgage and asked if they could do anything. They said yes they were "elevating " my problem and they would get back to me. Two weeks lated I called again and got the same "WE CAN HELP YOU. Same thing, no feedback. Is this the new COSTCO service level? Needless to say I canceled the deal and will not deal with any of the Costco "partnerships since they don't seem to stand by much of anything. To bad the old managers have all retired.

American Express

I own stock in Costco and am a happy customer, as well, but I wonder why Costco only accepts American Express. Aren't you hurting yourself by not accepting other credit cards? (I also hold American Express stock, so I am especially interested in their relationship to Costco.)

I am unhappy with flooring bought at the Kauai costco. When I called to ask about a refund on some unopened boxes,the manager on duty said I couldn't get a refund if the boxes were unusable to sell again! Then my husband called back and got someone different and she was very apologetic and said there was no problem. Do these managers get training at the same costco training camp or does it depend on their moods?

Costco has shown itself incapable of processing a simple membership order not once but twice. Customer service has misrepresented information regarding their shipping times, and although they collect a fee for two day shipping, they are not able to accomplish this. Customer service managers lack manners and basic problem solving skills. It's good that America is in economic trouble and needs to buy at low prices, otherwise Costco would go out of business. I'd rather pay an extra dollar for reliable service!

I purchased a Keurig Platinum coffee maker on line at Costco. When I was in the store I noticed that it was selling for a cheaper price. When I went in to collect that difference I was told that it was 2 separate companies and the refund could not be issued. When I expressed my total surprise I was told to bring back the Keurig I purchased, get a refund, and re-purchase the one instore. I just laughed and walked away. This policy is a total joke, bad customer service. There is no goodwill.

On-line Services

My experience with Costco On-line was very unsatisfactory. I tried to get help by phoning customer service - line was busy. I tried to email but after writing out my entire problem, I was given a "Error - the web templates system was unable to process your request". Even now, my problem is not going to Costco, who don't appear to want to be contacted under any circumstances, but to a posting agency. Buyer be ware. I hope you don't actually need to speak to a human being. That seems to be one product that they can't supply.

Would it be possible to put customer service phone at each isle? It would be a lot easier for a customer to use the phone instead of trying to find some one to help them.

They use a third party cell phone company to sell cell phones and cell phone service in there locations which is a shady business they use a mystery shop company called ace that does not pay there shoppers for doing shops for them why would Costco allow there vendors to use a mystery shopping company that does this

Dear Costco.I just wanted to let all of your employes know what a great job their doing. I truly know what its like to work with demanding public. Really .......the complaints I see and hear are ridiculous and outrageous!Please people dont bring all your beliefs and convictions to Costco.KEEP them home.You are SHOPPING!!!HELLO........

My Letter to Costco To Whom it may concern, I have been a loyal Costco customer for several years now. I spend a considerable amount at Costco each month including business supplies and gadgets. Is it true what I am reading on the net that Costco has supported the Democratic party 99% of Costcos donations? I will research this further, I sure hope this is false information; if it is not it will be the last time that I EVER shop at Costco. Sams Club here I come........ I am also a very influential convincing person with many friends that shop at Costco, believe me when I tell you that it will be part of my life long campaign to take them with me. Don't you realize that the people that spend the most at your business are probably not the Liberals which encompasses SOOOOO many people on free-bee's. Good luck in the future!
