Placed an order, I have placed many orders in the last several years, thousands of dollars. Today via e-mail, your item will not be shipped. Because they do not even have it. I am tired of placing orders, then they have to find it. Filed with the FTC and everywhere else, I can. They think they are untouchable. If enough people keep complaining and just stop shopping, they will get the message. I called to get the tracking # for the other item and said well I guess I have to pay full shipping on 1 item and I am not even getting the other. I said I am finished making orders with you, little miss smart a$$ said, so what, wish I had got her name. She knows and everybody else knows which stupid little gal, she is! The quality of the clothes have got very poor, pockets sewn on by hand, seams sewn in the side seam. But, when you make an order and they do not even have it. Thats just false advertising. Then a smart mouth wants to say so what. Does little miss smart a$$ not know its people like myself that spend thousands that pays her and keeps her job! See how much more money you get!!!!!!! Also, the prices change every week and when they say, they are having a sale,(run) they are actually charging you more. Jacking the prices from one item to the next making you think you are getting a bargain!! They are one of the very few places that you cannot even leave a rating on their merchandise, that should tell you something right there! Thank you little gal. I will just shop else place or better yet, keep my money!! Who writes the good reviews and 5 stars, them!!! You do not see many, do Ya! Save yourself time and money delete them.
We order online and yes, they are crazy with their prices. Bad clothing, bad service. It was better, but its got worse. We will not be doing anymore business either. Steerclear if you are smart. We live in Fl and its bad.
I was shopping at the Orange Park, FL store and over heard that Bealls Outlet does not support their employees to go to college. I also heard that if you are a Supervisor and want to go to college, "you will be demoted and the raise you recieved for being promoted to Supervisor will be taken away." What type of company does this? From what I have been reading about Bealls and Bealls Outlet is that the company supports the community. This is not supporting the community or the employees!!!
I shop in both of your Jacksonville, FL locations. Always a good experience in both stores. Sales people on the floor always smile, say hello and ask if I am finding everything okay. The cashiers are very nice. Prices that can't be beat, clean stores and a great staff!!
I have been a faithful customer @ Bealls Outlet 771 S Orange Blossom Trl Apopka, FL 32703 407-814-1166 Great staff except for one named Carla who seems to just stand there and do nothing. Can you guys please get the store new registers for the love of God. There registers are always breaking down and freezing. They have to call to see if the check will clear. Seriously that is old school lol. THINK ABOUT IT THE NEWER THE REGISTERS THE FASTER THEY CAN GET THE PEOPLE THROUGH THE LINE. Love the store.
Your stores are dirty, your associates are very rude. I bought a pair of jeans, and when I got home I noticed there was no zipper WTF!!! When I took it back the associate was rude. FU*K You Burkes Outlet I am going to tell all my friends and relatives not to SHOP THERE.
I have been a happy Bealls customer for many years. I have referred numerous family and friends to your stores - especially the one at SR7 and Southern Blvd in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. I have always encountered excellent service and pleasant employees there. I have returned items and found the store employees to be most helpful. Monday, February 20, 2012 was not the same as usual. I don't know if the employees were changed; I did not remember seeing the three ladies I encountered before yesterday. In any event, let me tell you of the unpleasant experience I had: My husband needed some new T-shirts and we had bought Izod there before so we went shopping for them. Instead of Izod, we found a new label that was on sale for $9.90. The orginal price was $40 marked down to $22 and then to $9.90. (I took pictures of the sign to have proof.) When I took 3 of the T-shirts to the counter, the clerk refused to give me th $9.90 price, instead ringing up $18 (which was nowhere on the sign). I attempted to explain but she was having none of it. I reminded her that the store has to honor the advertised price. I then asked for a manager and she also said there was no error. The $9.90 applied to the T-shirts on the other side of the shelf. May I explain the the same info was printed on BOTH sides of the sign. The manager said the sign was provided by "corporate" and was accurate but did not apply to the shirts on the other side although it was clearly showing on BOTH sides of the sign. I assumed they would take the sign down or, at least, correct it. They did not! The same sign was on display when I left the store a very unhappy longstanding customer. My husband and I said we would not be back. I am extremely distressed over this as I have never had such a problem with Bealls. It's been my favorite store for years! Unfortunately, I did not get the names of the three employees but I am sure they will remember me. I was not unpleasant, just firm in that the law requires that the advertised price be honored. In fact, I had a similar experience in this store about a year ago and the advertised price WAS honored by the store staff. Please respond to this as I would love to continue being a Bealls customer.
beward of returns with bealls bucks--apparently in small print on the "bucks" receipt it states discount will be applied to entire purchase--yes they do deduct the bucks (in my case $40) off the bill but after receiving receipt i noticed that return prices were reduced by 27% for each item--in other words when i went to return 4 items on a bill of well over $100, i lost approx $3 per item returned--had i known or read the small print i'd've only bought $40 worth of stuff i was sure to keep--and to make matters worse..arrogant manager--i am not a regular bealls shopper but my elderly mother is (was)--i wonder how many rips on returns happen to these florida seniors
As far as I can see you are all a bunch of dummies who we write. We never hear anything back. That also goes for the people that work there, most of them anyway. Come mess with me, instead of my old lady. If you chicken sh** so called cooperate people want to listen you better do some responding. I do not care to vent to the wind. Get your white collars out and explain to me, why you have the cheap things you get from India. You make them work for nothing and sell them for high prices. I saw what my wife got and the pic. you are all nuts, if you think they are the same. Come on sirs, squeek up. Let a real man talk with you.
I ordered a Gloria Vanderbilt blouse, which has always been a fair brand and fits me. To my dismay, I received a size large as I ordered and it fit more like a medium.(or should say did not fit) If thats not bad enough it said eyelet blouse, well that means the flowers should have had an opening in them. They were not the color as depicted, the blouse was nothing like depicted and the size was off. In the label was made in India, oh no wonder! If all that was not bad enough, I received snot green bath clothes instead of pink. Then the guy I spoke with wanted to patronize me and tell me the petite fit smaller. I believe the petite is just SHORTER. Yesterday, I called and had to hold for 30 min. before I actually got to speak to someone. These people better realize, its people like ME who keep their jobs. I spend ALOT of money there and I dang well expect to be treated like a deserving customer instead of the way they do. Then a girl, also a couple of days ago said, do you know this is Bealls Fl. not Bealls dept. Just out of the blue. DUH I have been shopping there for along time and I am a professional shopper, so I was insulted again. Their insults, I will get right back in their face and have. But, thier clothes to show pics. of something and then when you receive it looks NOTHING like the pic., thats getting bad! So, I say to you straighten up because I will NOT shut-up. I will be watching you. I am sending this crap back and get my refund and then I am through ordering anything from you made in India. Frankly, I would not care if the devil himself made it, if it was as depicted and the correct size and good quality at a good price, NOT! Somtimes they do not even find what you order, they have to LOOK for it and see which store has it. If they even do. To me that is too close to false advertizing. So, this is just too many mistakes, bad quality goods, deceitful advertizing for me, too expensive for quality, plus customer service lying, patronizing and insults!
My previous, complain was about the quality of the blouse, & the snot green wash cloths.Anyway, I forgot to put the store down. Please lets give them the snot green credit! Anybody can tell pink from snot green, it was even on the invoice I received. DUH DUH>>> But the green wash cloths was a deliberate attempt to get rid of them. They are too ugly to sell. Nobody thought they would actually send something back under $5 bucks. Well meet me, the principle of the matter is alive and well. Plus, you did not know about the top. Who wants snot green wash cloths, not me! The store that sent them was from Bealls Department store#057, Woodlands square, 3140 Tanpa Road, Oldsmar Fl. 34677 the stupid person who tried to pawn off snot green wash cloths for pink. I hope you fall in the bath tub, you know who you are! Fool I do not like hassels, but I can be a hassel and intend to be for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG Time! GOT it!
I also, saw the blouse that she got and the pic. Did not even look like the same blouse and as far as the snot green wash clothes. She is right, no one would want those. I told her I would wax the cars with them. But, the best thing is to send them back instead of what we should do. We are both very bold and DO NOT take any Cr** from these people. Ah you 5 star people, what the boss promise you a raise or are some of you banging them. You better not mess with my old lady she will drive there and take care of it personally. I can promise you, it would not be a nice ordeal. When she is right about this. She has spent alot of money and had just begun, so you screwballs messed it up. I certainly would NOT want anything from INDIA. If you knew what I know! Think of all the germs ETC. in those clothes. Its time the good stores stop using all those people and giving them the jobs. Give them to AMERICANS. People are going to start buying more american made merchandise.
I went to the Bealls Department store in Bastrop Texas. I saw a pair of slacks at the store that I wanted to buy but they did not have my size in the store. The sales clerk said if I pay for the slacks now she can order them and I will receive them at my house in approx. one week. I paid for the slacks and after 3 weeks passed no slacks and no word from Bealls. I called the store and was told someone will call me back. The next day I received a message on my phone advising my order was located but it was not clear when I would be receiving the order. I called the store and was told I would not be receiving my order and that I need to come back to the store so they can refund my money. I was told their computers are 4 days behind and it turns out they sold me slacks they did not have. How gullible do you think people are??? There is no way computers are 4 days behind. What really makes me mad is that if I didn't pursue this matter Bealls was going to just keep my money and not send me the slacks. What a rip off!!! I will not be doing any further buisness with this company.
Where: Bealls Outlet, Clermont, Florida When: Friday, November 11th at 8:08 p.m. Who was involved: The male store manager and cashier called Rosa. Problem: I was asked for my home address in order to process a store return of two items bought with credit card that were in original store condition (unworn and with all tags). I was asked for my home address even though I voluntarily presented the original credit card used for the transaction! When I refused to give my address I was told that a credit could not be processed if I did not provide an address. This request was made by the male store manager. I advised him that I had not been asked for my address when I first purchased with the card and did not believe he needed that information to make the return since VISA (corporate office) said that all a store merchant had to do was compare the signature on the back in order to process returns. He refused to grant the return until I gave him an address. This is a violation of my credit rights and an aggressive action to discourage consumers from returning items by making them uncomfortable. I will not be shopping at Bealls anymore.
After checking online we drove an hour and a half to the Outlet store in Kissimmee, only to find it closed and no notice where it was moved to. Tried to file an online complaint, but find you are asked to PAY $25 to do so!!!!! No one from the corporate office returns your calls. Very CUSTOMER UNFRIENDLY. Will not shop there anymore.
I was recently shopping at your Porter, TX location where I witnessed the most rude and cruel behavior. A woman was there shopping with her young daughter- maybe 3 or 4 years of age. She was sitting in the basket being very quiet and good (unlike many people's children in there), but she was missing an arm. When the woman was leaving after being checked out the two cashiers at the front- TYLER and AMIE- with people in each line, started laughing and making fun of the little girl and calling her a freak. Fortunately the woman had already left the store, but I asked the young man checking me out- TYLER- if he had any children and how would he feel if people made fun of his child as he was doing to the woman's. He simply said his daughter was not a freak and he would not be parading her around in public as she (the woman) did. Because of this disgusting behavior displayed at this location in Porter, TX I will not be shopping at your stores again as it concerns me what would happen if I brought my granddaughter (who is autistic) into the store for any reason. Children with disabilities have no reason to be made fun of and I am very disappointed your company would allow such behavior. I hope this issue is resolved- in the meantime any customers better not take their children with any kind of problems in there- I'd hate to see what their kids turn out like! I will be taking my money and time else where- even if it means I have to pay more!!
My husband and I have been shopping at your St. Petersburg store on MLK since we got to Florida over 6 years ago. On Saturday, October 28,2011, we went for what was supposed to be a 30% off everything in the store NO EXCLUSION SALE. What I found instead was that everything had been marked up so that when you took the 30% off you were maybe getting 10% off the normal regular price if anything at all. We were very disappointed in Bealls. I have removed my email address from your company so that I don't receive anymore of your ads and will no longer be shopping at any of your stores. I will be passing this on to all of my friends, family and co-workers. Thanks for listening!!!!!
I have always like Bealls Fl products online, since I live in Tx. we do not have anything, but a Burkes. Which is their outlet store. The problem online is their prices flucuate up and down and you think you are getting 30% off, but NO. They have raised their prices and you are accually paying a few dollars more This is not good business. If this is not bad enough. You put your order in and then a computor runs to find what store it is available in, if its available. I have an order in, now they say its low inventory, in other words. Its not there. How can you sell something you do not have? "Thats false advertisment". I had this happen the very first order I placed. They never found the item. So, my question to you, if you even care, how can you sell something you do not have in stock. Now, I am wanting some shoes, same story, low inventory! Its a ploy to make you think you may get them and to order something else to get to the discount or free shipping. In other words you prtend to have the most popular selling item, when in fact you do not have it. There are alot of pissed off customers and sooner or later you WILL be caught up with. Thats just wrong to put a price on something and change the price 3 or 4 times a week. I have copies of all of this in a large time frame, crooks & cheats! Then have something for sale, but you do not get it at all. I will make this my career to stay on this until you change something. When you make an order and its showing you have it only to find you have to hunt it and oh, oops not available! What kind of idiots. Greedy money digging people. You all need a tast of Tx justice!
I shopped at Bealls in Englewood on Saturday, October 1. Later that day I also drove to Venice (FL) to shop the bargains at that store. My purchases earned a $20 Bealls Bucks at each location. On October 6th I drove to Venice again to spend those Bealls Bucks but I didn't find what I wanted to buy. As I only had 2 more days to spend the bucks, I shopped at the Englewood store on Friday. I found exactly what I wanted..... a travel bag that was on sale for $50.00. Imagine my surprise when I was told I could not spend two $20 Bealls Bucks certificates on that item. Why not? I would be allowed to use two $20 bills on it. After requesting a manager, Jan (I believe) told me that she was aware of that problem and that it had been reported as a "MISS" to corporate. Oh, I was also told that two $10 certificates had been processed for one item that same day. It was also explained that if I had had a $10 Bealls Bucks and a $30 Bealls Bucks, the computer would accept that. Are you kidding me???? Is that not insane??? I'm so unhappy and upset with my whole experience. I had not had the opportunity to NOT spend two $20 Bealls Bucks certificates prior and I won't be interested in the future. Bealls owes me and all others who have had similar experiences with the Bealls Bucks an apology. Actually, I'd love to hear from the person who would put such restrictions on using the Bealls Bucks. Arcadia fl.....Employees are rude always mad. They even get mad because u try something on and don't take I guess because they have to put back but that's what they are for to work if they don't want to work.
