Lack of sizes
Everytme I go into your store on 9th st N. In St Petersburg Fl you are out of size 38D or 40D in the Vanity Fair smooth back bras. You have constant sales and never have those sizes. I wanted to buy 3 and you had none. I don't want sent to my house, want to pay cash. You are also always out of the size large and extra large in the nicer nitegowns. That is winter and summer. You have tons of size small and medium. The ordering is done poorlly.

I went to the outlet store, just opened, and viewed some beautiful products for the home. A customer service employee asked if I needed help. She was unbelievable. I needed boxes and wrap for the amount of glass I purchased. I spent $173.59 due to the fact this wonderful reflection of Bealls Outlet made a difference. I shall now always shop with Bealls Outlet's, for they make a difference and appreciate you come into their stores. Again Victoria should have in her file a incredible thank you. I have been a Bealls & Bealls Outlet shopper for over 20 years. You are the last Florida store around, but that distinction could be coming to an end. I have noticed now at the Bealls Outlet stores the merchandise has drastically been changing. You would think the Bealls Corporate office thinks there is going to be a major snowstorm this year in Florida with all the winter clothes in the store. Are we just catering to the Snowbirds?? There used to be summer merchandise all year long & Florida tees & Florida style clothes. Now the prices are higher & the Florida clothes are rare. I don't know who is doing your purchasing, but I am very disappointed. Also, I must agree with some of the other reviews about the sales. It is true that the prices are jacked up & then put on sale for 30% off. The prices in the Bealls stores are so over the top. The Florida economy is struggling. Please reconsider.
Bad Business Practice
Went here this morning, Hermiston OR, to do some Black Friday shopping. Before the store opened the manager told all of us outside that the Tablets were sold out. When she opens the door and we all start shopping I notice that people are carrying around tablets. Hmmmm. I am checking out and I over hear the manager and an employee talking about the tablet that the employee was holding for her family member. She was aware of this, and was okay with it, but gave it away to the customer to buy because she misunderstood what the employee had said about her family member being on her way in. This customer has 2 tablets she was buying, when the max per customer was one. AND this customer WAS NOT in line ahead of myself and the 12 other people in front of me.
My check and debit card was declined in the Albany , Georgia store tonight. I have had this account for more than 20 years. I came home , and called Certegy,they had no idea why this happened. They have nothing on file under my name , checking account or license number.The only thing they could think of was your sales associate was a very stupid person. I will never shop in your crappy store again! A thrift store has better merchandise.
Computer Glitch
Hello, I would like to tell you of my experience at Bealls Port Orange #029. On Sunday, 11/15/12 at approximately 3:30pm I browsed through the store and made a purchase, the receipt read the time being 4:15pm, 0029582111513525, total $18.11. There was no one at the register when I arrived, the sales lady rang up my order, gave me my change and then informed me that it would take 5 minutes to print out a receipt. There was no way she could open the register, or even check a price because my sale was locked in. The sales associate said that every customer had to wait the 5 minutes. She said her shift started at 2:00pm and she was told by her manager that this problem existed all day long. I feel that the customer should have been informed that there would be a wait to print out a receipt, this way it would be the customers discretion as to wait or leave and go elsewhere. I spoke to the store manager and she said this problem was at all Bealls stores. Could it be that the person responsible for fixing the problem was out of town or unavailable. Customers are the ones that bring up the stores ratings. This is no way to run a business. I told the store manager that each and every customer should be compensated for wasting their valuable time just waiting for a paper receipt especially during the holiday season. There should be alternatives maybe a backup of hand writing a receipt like they did years ago. The old fashioned way. With all this cyber baloney and computereized world the system will never be fool proof. Maybe corporate should decide on always having a backup when the system has a problem.
Bad bussiness
The policy of not allowing the change in due dates for billing is rediculous. I have never had an issue changing a billing date as to insure payment in a timly manner . I find this to be poor bussiness pratice. I will be paying my bill in full and will never again shop in Bealls . Its sad that a your company feels they dont need to work with their costomers I guess you all make so much money you can afford to lose coustemers ......Good luck with that.....It's sad !
Excellent Customer Service in Bealls Outlet Florida City
I travel a great deal and have been a customer of Bealls Outlets for several years. Yesterday I went into Floirda City Bealls outlet store 135 and was so impressed with the Outstanding Customer Service extended by Shirly and Martha. You are greeted with a Sincere Welcome and when I needed some help, Shirly was so happy to assist me. Martha was my checkout lady and she extended so much warmth and appreciation that I was shopping there. I felt as if I was a Valued Customer and new friend visiting their home. They both showed that they enjoyed their jobs and being there to help customers.
I use to work at bealls and if I could give a negative rating score I would. Stores are horrible and management are assholes. I was fired because someone stole shoes and then wanted to return them. The shoes were not taken back but I was blamed for not catching the thief the act, that's was not in my job description to also be security and anybody that would steal that cheap piece of crap has got to be insane so I'm not risking my body. Anyway 2 weeks later the manager was fired for being a bitch her career is over hahaha
I work at store 228 in Vidalia Ga and i not at all satified with some of the actions that have been taken at my store. Yesterday i was suppose to go in at 5, but for the past 4 days i have been sick, i laid down to take a nap and accidently over slep and woke up at 5:25 and i had 30 mins to travel to get to work but i made it in 15min and when i got there the store manager told a supervisor to send me home so it was not only a waste of gas(not cheap these days) also a waste of my time so i no longer work there i quit on the spot, no phone call or two week notice im done with bealls outlet
I thought Walmart was crazy regarding returns....Now we have Bealls!! Well, at least they carry cotton garments!! But is anything made in the USA anymore, including brains???? Several e-mails back and forth and nonsense about phoning them and someone trying to phone me. Who hires these morons?!?!?!?! Other morons, probably!! I keep asking for the proper codes for return of merchandise because not all garment tags match the paperwork. So I'm stuck with $200 worth of clothing and no credit. Eventually, I will hopefully get to a corporate honcho's assistant's secretary's clerk's bathtub and he/she will help me. I'm not letting them get away with this. The remaining items better be for free!!!! They're refusing to help me in a normal fashion. By the way, I already mentioned legal and government action and they are still asleep at the wheel. Maybe it's the Florida sun. Geez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Make a purchase on 7/21/2012 at the Bealls' in Calhoun Ga. with my debit card. Today 8/16/2012 with the the Bealls' in Dalton Ga and it all to pot- Cashier would not do a cash refund. I explained to her and three other employee- That I had lost my debit card and could not return to the card. I ask for cash back since the refuned for purchase was only $8.39. If I had paid with a check I could have got cash back. Debit is the same as cash.
I was a bealls shopper since the day it opened. I got hurt this week and I was full of blood and in pain I asked the clerks to please get me help. I was crying for over 15 minutes and decided to call 911 myself. This is not a safe place for me to shop any more had a terrible experience and the carts in the store should be on the recall list and the store door ways need to be updated. about 40 minutes passed and a girl came from back . I told her i needed ice she took her sweet time to bring me a brown paper handwipe with ice. Bealls need to train the people working in store to be kind and caring.
New Tampa , very unfriendly people, every employee looks so unhappy ,the dressing rooms have bathing suit liners stuck to the walls and floors the buggies are scattered even in front of the check out. Juniors dept. is so unreal, and the restrooms I would not touch,not to mention about the rash outbreak....
Your Bealls in Englewood and Venice have gone downhill this past year and a half. The Englewood store is dirty,unorganized and very few selections in certain ladies departments. In the Venice store, all you hear is employees talking back and forth on the walkies or walking past you without even a smile or hello. The customer service phone rings without anyone picking whenever I have tried to call after work(after 5). The merchandise is overpriced and then "on sale" to make us think we are getting a good buy, but we are not. The quality is poor and made in third world countries where labor is at a minimum. Sadly, I will no longer shop in your stores. Kohls is so much better. Venice and Englewood have 100%of the customer market as they are the only retail clothing/household/shoe stores in their towns. I wish another company would come into those towns and force Bealls to come up to quality, value standards and good customer service.
Living in Palm Coast, Fl allows us to shop in Bealls. It is good shopping and wonderful atmosphere. I write you at this time to compliment you on the wonderful employee named "ENZA". She is an exceptional asset to BEALLS. Wish you had 20 ENZAs working for you in each of your stores. July, 2012 ****

It s more like a 1.5. Some of the employess are friendly. Others, not so much. Store may look nice, but it s the other dumbapple (to be clean) customers that leave their crap all over the damn floor in the fitting rooms! Why can t you pigs at least put them back on the hangers and leave them on the Gp-Back racks that they provide for you! The star rating is more for everything, the product, employees, and other customers. I ALWAYS put my clothes that I don t want not only on the hangers, but also BACK were I found them! Even BEFORE I worked in retail. You know why? Because it s not that f---n hard, dumbapples! Do it right, or DON T do it at all! BTW, I work at Target, so don t go thinking it s one of their employees like a dumbapple would think. You filthy pigs! Wonder what your house looks like! Ha! I m right, right? Oh, yeah. Do any of you pigs even bother to think how hard it is to take of a retail store? We work very hard to keep it clean for you and what do you do? You fu---- it up! I know this was supposed to be a review of Bealls Outlet, but now you know both how I feel about the store here itself, and how hard retail employees work. Target and Wal Mart is just sooo much better. This one female supervisor, is soo rude to a lot of people, including the two employees with her. I feel that they get the brunt of her wrath. So much more mean to them, than the customers. Here is what you all need to know. They re probably short on hours, as it is with Target and Wal Mart as well. I do (used to) shop at this Bealls Outlet often. I noticed that there are ALWAYS three people at any given shift. Three leave from the morning, and three must leave at night. There are no middle shifts! Another thing regarding above, this time, in favor of Bealls Outlet. For those customers who complain about how there are no employees to greet or help you out on the floor? Short supply of hours is the reason. So, for the love of everything good and great, GIVE THEM A BREATHER! There are only three people! They can t help it! If there is a super long line, and only three employees, the supervisor and the two other employees, CUT them some SLACK!!!! There is no fourth person to help you out on the floor!!! Sheesh!!!! So, in conclusion, all you pigs out there, respect the store, any retail store, and put the clothes BACK on the hanger, OUT of the fitting rooms, and ON the go-back racks. AT LEAST!!!!!!!!!!!! For all you good customers, Cut them at this store some slack, please!!! Short on hours, short on how many people can be out on the floor at any given morning and closing shift, please! Come on! The employees at befalls in Arcadia Florida are rude and disrespectful one day I was shopping with my kids they were playing n one of them run and the next thing I heard was this employee screaming at my child to stop running or she would b asked to leave the store really rude and mean how can they do that to a 6 yearold she made my daughter cry. She didn't ask her in a nice way she yelled at her she knew the girl was with me and instead of asking me to tell my daughter not to run she made girl cry the next time I was there I had my girls with my like usual and I needed to try something on since kids don't usually listen when u tell them something I took them inside the dreessing room cause I assumed. If I go inside n leave them outside they will run n get yelled at or something when walking out this Bi"""""" looks at me really nasty and tells me that for security reasons only one person can b at the fitting rooms....hello what I'm supposed to do leave them outside unsupervised....
Bealls Outlet, 692 - i was shopping with my sister and looking at jeans when my sister walked to her own section. I didn't notice the direction she went so while looking through the clothing i glanced up twice. Apparently associates assumed i was going to steal and one of them came over pretending to sort clothing the next rack over. I suspected their assumption and immediately went to find my sister. I was very insulted because i have been a bealls outlet shopper for nearly 9yrs, longer than most of them have been working there. If she had approached me and asked if i needed help with something rather than shadow me like a prisoner i might have let it go. I mentioned this at checkout and apparently they intended on secretly surveilling me. But because i mentioned it they became rude. Now every time i shop there they treat me like a criminal even though i have never stolen anything in my entire life and they are very rude. I dont receive a"hello" or "have a nice day" even though every other customer does. If these associates can not keep their personal feelinga aside and act professionally and i dont think they deserve to work with people at all. I drive a half hour to a different store even though this one is closer, because i myself work in retail and even on a bad day i always smile and am polite to everyone.
