First one was ripped and second one has springs sticking out of the couch iI call them and tell them and they hung up on me NEVER GO THERE!!!!!!! And also it was 3 days old not even maybe 2 days.

I bought a couch and the first one they had a hole in the second one hand springs popping out in my but and then I try to take it back there and they're saying that they can take a back I'll have to wait 2 months to get a new one so I called them up and they keep on thhanging up on me and finally know I have one!!

They haven't give me my table for my dinette set in two months! And I paid in full! HORRIBLE company!

Bought my couches two days ago took the plastic off and thwybhad ripes on them and the side staples arebt even on .so i called and theykept passing the phone and putting me on hold.i sent a picture as rrequested and was told its my fault its riped. How is it my fault!!!worst place to purchase furniture from very unprofessional. All they care about is money not customer service!

I haven't even had my sectional for a whole year and its torn in the back. I contacted them months ago and still haven't heard from them, this is bad business

(Boardman, OH)Purchased furniture for living room, dinining room, end tables, coffee tables and bedroom suit. Funiture is almost paid for and was informed the dining room and end tables and coffee table are discontinued. I said if it is on layaway why isn't it here? Was told no furniture is held until 75% of monies is paid. Wanted money back and they said I could only receive half my money back. Salesman was unprofessional and of no help.

I purchased a couch and love seat 6 months ago and had to return it within the 2nd week because the frame CRACKED and they replaced it immediately. 5 months later the couch broke in the same place..I called American Freight and I sent pictures as requested and it has now been almost 2 months and I have not heard anything..every time I call I have had to hunt down the store manager..I have also contacted Customer service twice. STAY AWAY

I bought a bedroom set from this company (cash), then changed my mind two days later because I found better quality some where else. The didn't have the furniture in stock so there was nothing to return. The unprofessional staff has been very rude in my efforts to get a refund. I was told 10-14 days its been almost 30 days. Everytime I call I get the run around. This company has poor customer service and cheap furniture. Lesson Learned!!

I will be reporting this company to the Attorney General and Department of Labor division due to the nature of how you treat your customers and employees.

someone we know purchased a package deal from Lansing, Michigan store with living room, bedroom, dining room, tables & lampstiC. The furniture has already began falling apart. terrible cheap furniture. guess you get what you pay for, but since the price was right we bought the items. Beware ....... cheap means poor poor quality !!!

The mattress we purchased at American Freight in Lansing, Michigan is terrible !!! We have had it approximately 6 months and it is already broken down so much we can not even sleep on it !!!!! We did as the company asked and took several pictures of the mattress measuring the dip. Its been over a week with several phone calls & no word on replacing it or refunding our money. The staff doesn't tell you the truth, they are rude & lazy. terrible terrible store !!!!!!!!! and no refund !!! beware !!!

I purchased 2 mattress sets for my kids and both mattresses sink in middle and the supposed box springs have no springs just a thin piece of wood. Small claims court is 1,500.00.

I often research the companies I shop with and was surprised to see the negative reviews for AFF. Most of my furniture has come from this company and I have no complaints about any of it. Granted I didn't buy their cheapest furniture (which I understand is all some can afford) I feel I got decent furniture for the amount I paid. Wanted to leave a positive input and say some are satisfied with this company!

. I purchased a set from the store. Within a few months the pieces have begun to fall apart. The couch is basically breaking in half. The foundation is splitting and the couch actually sits on the floor. Awful! The worst 600$ i've ever spent

I purchased a head board from your Memphis location in April. I was told it would be in no later than the 22nd of May. On June 1st I call and am told that it is on back order and if I need a head board in a "reasonable amount" of time I can pay an additional $38 and order a similar one. That I will also have to wait another month on. When I say no, the manager tells me he will email corporate and see of they will put my headboard on the next shipment as a "favor" to me. But he has no idea when they will be receiving their next shipment. I paid cash up front for this headboard. You have had my money for a month and you are going to do me a "FAVOR" and ship it? WHAT A JOKE!!

I put some furniture on layaway and paid the balance in a month. That was April 24, 2013. To this date I never got my furniture. Went to get a full refund, the associate was so rude. Took personal phone call while helping me, told me to hold on while he finish his phone call. Didn't say one word to me while I'm waiting for him to complete my refund. Told me that I would have to wait for my refund 10 to 14 days by check. I paid them cash, why couldn't I get cash back? Worst service ever. Tallahassee Florida store on west tharpe street. Hi threre people run run and run away from this company 3 months waiting for furniture still didnt recive it called everyone nobody helped me then they gave me broken loveseat and told me send the pic when i did they told me too trow it away which i did and from then nothing rest of my furniture it run around company is run bu bad bad people and not educated low low class people

We got a couch with tax refund and not even a week later the couch ripped in front and a week after that the back ripped. we were gonna get a different couch but the guy talked us in to this green thing that he stabbed with a key saying its better for people with pets. We have been waiting 3 months just to hear wait one or two more weeks. I'm fed up and not paying delivery again that's what the warranty is for.
