POOR SERVICE SELLER HAS MY MONEY AND PRODUCT AND STILL HAVENT SENT MY MONEY have not been sent back Amazon denied my claim its been two weeks and they told me it will take another two weeks and my credit card was charge out of money and seller has their item will be filing a law suit against both parties and i thought i could trust them

Amazon.com have no idea what a customer is. Their handling of the crash at their West Virgina data center is a case study in corporate cover up.

There are a bunch of thieves and will close your account w/ no warning.. Lie that your selling stuff against their policy and hold 3,000 of your money really they can do that. I will be on the list that one day A class action lawsuit will be placed on this comopany bunch of F##ing thieves!!

i have been a faithful hoest and good customer, the last 3 days i have run into so much red tape, and answering NO i can not speak to some one at orporate, my delivery was sent back by ups, undeliverable, reorder item, one day delivery, could not do that a finacial probelm, which is a insult to a customer who has had 26,000 purchases with no problems. i can not believe they have a guard person protecting the managers, and corparate officers, it just whos me they the corporate office do not care. makes me want to purchase else where. makes no sense, and if you read this at corprate i would call me or write me about this issue.

Pitiful that a company on the cutting edge of internet marketing, maintains an iron curtain against access for consumer comments and questions. Perhaps explains the oddball furniture at the HQ...old doors with 4x4 posts instead of real office furniture. No true e-mail address or company phone number is proffered. Why the paranoia in Seattle?

I agree with the first rating, Lisa's. Amazon has the WORST consumer relations of ANY Internet company I've ever dealt with. They intentionally make it virtually impossible to contact them about a problem. Their system has so many bugs in it, they need an exterminator. I tried multiple times to reset my address, phone and credit card information when we moved, but every time I checked the account settings, it was still set on the old ones. I also changed my password, but the new one never worked. I took weeks of attempting to contact them (finally succeeding via email) to correct the problem. I do applaud Amazon's resisting the federal government's pressure to ad sales tax, but when they DO collect tax for the several states for which they apparently must (I guess), they do not make it clear that the purchase will be taxed. That needs to be corrected immediately. I shop on the Internet largely to avoid taxes. We pay far more than enough for the few services we receive. If I had know a recent purchase was going to be taxed, I would not have made it. It was a Kindle purchase, and why they'd tax those in beyond me. I'll watch VERY carefully in the future, and if I see tax being added, I'lll cancel the purchase.

The absolute worst customer service. The switchboard operator is good for nothing! She refuses to transfer your call for you to speak with someone in the Corporate Office. Instead, she transfers your call to the general customer service #, which turns out to be in another country. I've tried ten times, too! I don't want another country. I bought the item in the US and want to speak with someone from the US! If I am calling the Corporate Office, I want to speak with someone in the Corporate Office. Clearly, Amazon does not care about their customers! I hope someone with power at Amazon reads this review, along with all the others and makes the needed changes to their present, horrible customer service.

To help everyone undertsand what Amazon really is....as I see many do not...Amazon is just like Ebay... Sellers (anyone can sell something) The only difference is there is no bidding or paypal... People sell their \items on Amazon just as if they would on ebay... they simply sign up to sell exactly like they do on ebay...Customer service is provided by the seller except when you call... The items shipped by Amazon are only the items given to Amazon by all of the sellers..they ship their items to Amazon to ship it for them its the fullfillment part of sellers way to save on shipping...Most shipping is provided by who ever it is you are buying from...The names or stores you see as having the product are just ordinary people who have chosen catchy namephrases for their "Store"... Amazon is just a shopping and selling resource for people with product or want product...JUST LIKE EBAY...

Their rating is BEYOND poor. Phone banks overseas. My boss bought 6 bar stools, when they came 2 had finishes coming off. Followed Amazon process sent e-mail w/photo, no reesponse called a week later "never got attachment" this happened 3 x's - When sent the forth time message was OH time to returned has expired. - Amazon sent to Claims Investigation. The outcome was return for credit - oh but you get to unassemble, get boxes, pack and ship with "Insurance and Tracking number" and WAIT FOR IT ... PAY for the shipping - around 100.00 ARE YOU KIDDING ME - Oh they will give you an Amazon credit for the shipping AS IF right now I am on the phone with CS in the Philippines on hold 37:14 minutes- THESE PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE What happens is you think that you are buying from Amazon - NOT TRUE they brokers for apparently sub standard companies and leave you hanging out to dry if there is an issue - Anyone purchasing BEWARE

Amazon as a company really stinks. You can get good deals sometimes but that means they are screwing someone somewhere else. I have never seen a company that was so hard to get in touch with. i guess they just got tired of the people telling them what they think of Amazon. I signed up for Amazon Prime. I paid for two day shipping of an item and it took five days to arrive. Their shipping Sucks. The item I ordered passed by my house in PA at least three time before it was delivered. The item left CA on a Tuesday and came across the country on I-70 to Laural MD. Now it is Thursday and the item left on Friday morning and went to a location just outside of Pittsburgh. To do that i went via I-70 again passing through Hagerstown MD. That is just 10 miles from my house. It arrives sometime over the weekend at Pittsburgh. Now it is Monday and the item is shipped to Harrisburg PA. Tht is 50 miles north of me. This is Monday night. The item is then sent to Hagerstown MD. Which by now the item had been in Hagerstown 3 times. Tuesday morning the item goes out for delivery and arrives at my house Tuesday evening at 8:00PM. I can't get my money back for the two day shipping. I canceled my membership in Amazon Prime and yet today i ws charged $79 for renewal fee. Now I am trying to get that money back and I can' t find a way to file a complaint or even get in touch with them. I wil never shop with Amazon again. I buy lots of stuff from eBay and tht is the way to go.

Amazon is a leading paid advertiser on Google. Google uses a very foul definition of "santorum" created by Dan Savage as a result when you search for Rick Santorum. Savage had stated that he wishes "all Republicans were dead" and uttered multiple other vicious ad hominum attacks. Please contact Amazon and let them know that these types of attacks, no matter what ones political affiliation, are intolerable.

your customer service is from the 17th century. At least find people who can effectively communicate in ENGLISH! You have taken $600 out of my checking account and cannot or will not tell me why, what it is for. they say it will take a minimum of 3 days to find this out. how is it that they can take out money in 2 sconds but to put it back takes weeks??

It would be nice if amazon had REAL customer service instead of farming it out to India or where ever so that they can actually UNDERSTAND what your problem is! Instead when you send an email for a problem, you get a standard NO ANSWER answer. I am fed up with having to deal with crap like this! I have been a GOOD customer for several years, but NO MORE! They have had their LAST order from me! If they can not explain extra charges on a free shipping order other than some pat answer posted by their computers to send back to you, I don't need them!

I made the mistake of ordering a solar panel from Amazon. What they advertised was NOT what it was. I spent over six hours today trying to straighten this out. Amazon? They're good for books and DVDs. Anything else, I'd go somewhere else. What a mess!

I have written and sent three e-mails to amazon.com requesting an answer as to why musical CD's listed for purchase by or through amazon.com have two(2) different prices listed as "new" CD's. The highest price listed is shown next to the photo image of a CD. The same CD also listed as "new" appears in smaller print at a lower price than the other CD as "new". The question I want answered is why there are two(2) different prices for the same compact disc as "new"? There is also listed the option to purchase the same CD as "used". I asked you, amazon.com, if "used" CD's are guaranteed of defects or blemishes that would reduce the sound quality. I have recived replies to all three of my e-mails. None of the replies answered any of the questions I have listed here. These questions are not directed to any specific recording, but to any CD in general listed for purchase by or through amazon.com. I am very dissapointed in the lack of service I have received from amazon.com customer service. I am concidering abandoning any trade with amazon.com. I've recently learned that Free Super Saver Shipping is not allowed for Puerto Rico addresses, causing my years of relationship with amazon.com to go on a crisis. USPS shipping rates are the same or less to ship from US to PR, than from US to Ak or HI. Please fix this. You know you are going to LOOSE BIG on this one.

Kelly Zentz Paragon Indiana worked with her father, a driver for R&S carriers in Indianapolis to meet and steal Amazon.com items off of semi trucks for better then 5years. Many of these items are still at her home in Paragon Indiana. Flat screen TV's , Laptops, Xbox360's, cameras, Cell phones, Play station 3's, you name it, they stole it. Even raffling off an amazon.com 46 inch flatscreen TV in the Paragon home coming festival. All of these electronics have serial numbers, anyone not receiving your items, rather an empty box, on anything shipped into, or out of and or through Indianapolis Indiana would be wise to look there! I have just spent 4 hours trying to return 3 items from an order. Why 3 hours? The return website on Amazon will not let me check the drop down menu so I can give a reason for the return. Wouldn't you know it is the most expensive item. This most time wasting experience has made me A BIG HATER of AMAZON. It is NOT honest in the advertising on the website and SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT.
