I was employed at your store (#10971)since January of this year. Up until the last 2 weeks my register and lottery had been coming out even. I never had a problem up until about 2 weeks ago. All of a sudden both my register and lottery came up short by a substantial amount. The owner, Rukmani Gupta, informed me that unless I paid her in cash for ALL of the shortages she would not allow me to be on register or lottery, so I would only be allowed to work to put away the orders when they came in, for a total of 4 hours a week. First of all it is illegal (according to the NJ Department of Labor) to require your employees to pay for register shortages. Secondly, she was sneaky in that she refused to fire me, because she knew that I would have legal grounds to sue her for wrongful termination. I am surprised that you would allow someone with this kind of integrity to represent your company. If I were in your position, I would definetly take into account the integrity of the people I allow to represent my company. It not only looks bad for the store itself, it reflects negatively on the company as a whole. I will be advising all my friends and family, who frequent 7-11 regularly, to boycot the company because of their shady business practices. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau to inform them of the type of people who are allowed to represent your establishment, when they resort to illegal and unethical business practices. It is my sincere hope that you will look into this matter and make a decision to rethink your decision to allow persons like Rukmani Gupta to represent your business.

I just get out of your store 17973 THAT I WAS PURCHASING SEVERAL ITEMS. MY WIFE SELECT THE TRIDENT CHEWING GUM BECAUSE YOU HAVE AN AD STATING "ONE FREE WITH THE PURCHASE OF TWO" WHEN WE WENT TO PAID FOR THE MERCHANDISE THE ATTENDANT DI NOT KNOW HOW TO PROCESS THE DISCOUNT. WE CALL FOR HELP AN "INDIAN GUY" IN CHARGE OF THE STORE. THIS PERSON DENIED THE DISCOUNT SAYING IT WAS NOT VALID. WHEN WE BROUGHT HIS ATTENTION TO THE SIGN STATING THE OFFER OF "ONE FREE IN THE PURCHASE OF TWO TRIDENT CHEWING GUM", HE ANSWER THAT OFFER WAS NOT VALID REMOVE THE ADVERTISEMENT AND PUT IT IN THE TRASH. THAT IS FAULT ADVERTISEMNT. PURE AND SIMPLE THE ATTITUDE OF THIS PERSON AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT MADE ME ASK FOR THE CORPORATE PHONE NUMBER TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE WHOLE SITUATION. HE REFUSE TO PROVIDE IT TO US. HE JUST TURN AROUND AND LEFT. i WILL PROVIDE A COPY OF THIS COMPLAINT TO CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND I HOPE I CAN REACH A REPRESENTATIVE FROM TRIDENT TO COMPLAINT. MY WIFE & I WORK & STOP AT YOUR STORE AT LEAST 8 TO 10 TIME AWEEK & SPEND ALOT OF MONEY BETWEEN THE BOTH OF US AS WE WORK DIFFERENT HOURS FOR GAS ON BOTH VEHICLES, FOOD, BEVERAGES,LOTTERYS ETC.LAST YEAR 2009 WHEN YOU HAD THE PROMOTIONAL FOR FREE SLURPEE'S WE TOOK OUR TWO CHILDREN, GRANDMOTHER, MY WIFE & I FOR ITEMS & ASK FOR THE FREE DRINKS IN ADDTION TO PURCHASES IN THE STORE AT THE SAME TIME PLUS LOTTERYS.WE WERE RUDELY TOLD THEY HAD NO CUPS OR FREE DRINKS AVAILABLE & THIS WAS AT 6:30 P.M.(WHILE OTHERS IN THE STORE ASKED THE SAMETHING) THIS MADE OUR LITTLE GIRL CRY & OUR SON WAS SO DISAPPOINTED ALSO.WHILE THE SIGN WAS STILL OUT SIDE ON THE CORNOR OF LAWRENCE & HYPOLUXO IN LANTANAFLORIDA.NOW THIS YEAR 2010 WE ALL WENT AGAIN & WERE TREATED POORLY,WITH ALOT OF VERBAL ABUSE, WHILE TRYING TO SPEAK HE WAS INTERRUPTING & WOULD NOT LISTEN AT ALL TO WHAT WE HAD TO SAY IN A PROFFESIONAL & IN THE VERY SAME MANNER AS LAST YEAR FROM THE GENTLEMEN IN THE STORE ALSO WITH A LADY WORKING TOO.THERE WERE OTHER CUTOMERS IN THE STORE ALSO WHO WERE VERY UPSET AND EXPRESSED THE SAME FEELINGS.THERE WE CUPS IN THE BACKGROUND & ALSO COFFEE CUPS BUT STILL REFUSED TO LET US NEAR THE SLURPEE MACHINES AT ALL!!!!PLEASE ADVISE !!!!!! I never complain ti anyone but this offended me so much I felt its needed. I walked into your store @ 11900 international drive orlando fl with 2 winning scratch off tickets totaling 30.00. The colored sales associate working told me I couldn't purchase more tickets but she would cash what I had. This @ 9:41 pm. I live around the corner and visit this store often, so I know this is not policy, I'm also not one of those people who keeps turning them in I buy mine and leave. It was obvious judgment call of her part, solely from the look on the other associates face when she heard what this women told me. I've been told late before you may purchase ticket but can't cash them in after a certain hour. I understand this. This wasn't even close to that time frame. Is it corporate policy to deny scratch off sales? I just came from the gym maybe she thought my ragged clothes I was poor gambler. At anyrate i'll be taking my business across the street to shell more often after this incident. Lastly I felt so strongly about this took the time to do this entire message from my mobile keyboard in the parking lot.
