I called Tire Kingdom on Saturday March 10, 2012 at around 9:am. I spoke with a Patrick at Tire Kingdom regarding their prices on replacing struts for my vehicle. I informed Patrick ( A front desk worker) that the vehicle is under extended warranty and I don’t want any work done unless it‘s covered. I dropped the car off at around 10:50 am and I specifically told |Patrick again not to complete any work unless it was covered by the warranty company. Patrick called me back at 15:20 Almost a full 5 hours later to tell me that the struts on my vehicle were fine and I needed a wheel barring and tie rod replaced. Patrick said that he had spoken with the warranty company and they said they would cover those replacements. Okay everything was fine until 19:43 exactly, at that time I was called by the Manager Shawn to come pick up my vehicle because the work was completed. When I got there all hell broke loose. The manager said that the warranty company didn’t pay and I cant get my car until I PAY so me being me I refused to pay and or leave and they called the police on me and I video taped the event and It will be on youtube under Tire Kingdom stole my vehicle. I now have to wait until Monday to get my vehicle back….Store number 205

Went to Tire Kingdom with buy “2 tires gets 2 tires free coupon”…??? Good luck with that! As part of the promotion you are required to purchase a roadside assistance plan and a 3 year wheel alignment warrantee, but they don’t tell you how much that will cost you. I thought I was walking out of there with $235 bill, but instead I got hit with a $700 bill. Stupid me but, Shame on you Tire Kingdom. Well! I also happened to be searching for a new auto repair shop for my future repair needs, well guess where I will never take my vehicle or recommend to my many friends. Tire Kingdom needs to realize that this is the 21st century not the 1950s information travels fast and I sure that in my life time I will see Tire kingdom out of business. Who is stupid now?

I am a employee and tewated poorly. Some days i am not aloud to take lunch Because there isnr enough people to cover. i am forced towork over time and threatend to be fired if i ddont want to. And last week an employee with diabeeties was denied a lunch and got sick. He called out the next day cause he didnt feel good and was suspended for a week, then when he was suspended was told to come in when they needed him that if he wasnt he as fired. My next option is a lawsuit.

I see that I'm not the only digusted customer of Tire Kingdom. You've lost another customer. Poor workmenship at the location in Luling, LA - Store #212. I had my brake work done at this location along with purchasing 4 new tires costing me nearly $2000.00. These shadytree mechanics did not replace the brake fluid in my vehicle - this was discovered by your mechanic at the Tire Kingdom in Harvey, LA. Have been having problems with my brakes ever since. The Brake Light is constantly coming on and now they want to tell me that the warranty is up and it will cost me $100.00 an hour just to look at my vehicle to determine whats the problem. Of course I'm upset. Spoke to a person named Jeff and he was very rude. Corporate Headquarters you need to get busy on this. I will put the word out on this Tire Kingdom. I have a lot of friends; therefore, you'll loose a lot to business.

I originally came in for tires and an alignment. I was told that they did the alignment and new tires, but was also told that i needed inner and outter tire rods and other parts. I was told that the car was dangerous. The manager said i could leave the car there and he would give me a price in the morning at 7 am. I did not hear from him at 7,so i called back around 9am. I was told that he was getting the price for me and would call me back in 10 minutes, He finally called me back and stated that it would be 2,500.I then told him that that was too much, He then said dont worry mama, heres what i can do. I can drop the price to 1,800. This is when i said, Im on my way to pick up the car. He then replied "im sorry mama, we already started breaking down the car. When i arrived 30 minutes later with my mechanic, MY car was already repaired. The manager stated that he could drop the price once more to 1,400, and that is all he could do.All of this was done without a written estimate. I Was highly upset and not satisfied with the service I received at TIRE KINGDOM. I paid 814.00 from my debit card, and the balance on a tire kingdom credit card, Which is 600.00. I dont understand how he could change prices so easily, and i feel that I was taken advantage of. I will never ever use you company again and will never recommend tire kingdom to anyone.

as a sales associate for 2 years i was told if i answer the phone and get a perfect score i would recive a 100 dollor gift card i scored 8 of them and was told today sorry u get nothing is this legal well no because i have all the emails and the perfect scores i printed out some manager is stealing from the hard working sales man some where but my laywer said give it a week to see if they pay up to there people if not he will take over thank you for screwing me mecrchant tires..if u screw me what do you do to your customers,,,,,,,,,

Looks like you got caught tring to cheat your customers again. I bought tires from tire kingdom for the LAST time. When I did buy tires from tire kingdom they always came with free rotation and balance, so I take my car in and was told that I did not have free rotation and balance and would have to pay for it. Not today boys!! Also you have no record of my last purchase? Whats that all about? Poor business. So you wont have to balance and rotate them either. It seems more and more the the whole car industry is nothing but a group of thieves. Shame on You . I well be telling all that I know and I know alot of people. Tire Kingdom Sucks and I mean SUCKS !!!!

Dear Tire Kingdom, I recently purchased 4 new tires from your store located at.... Tire Kingdom Store #260 2600 Pine Island Rd Hollywood, FL 33024 (954) 517-0066 I own a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 pick up truck and needed tires. Being that this location was close to my home I decided to stop in for a quote. I met with a salesperson named Robin who was very helpful. I advised him on my needs and that I had a budget of $800.00 to purchase four tires. He suggested that I go with a set of NITTO Crosstek HD part # NT05926707E LT 265 /70R17. There was a promotion being offered which included wheel balance/rotations/alignment and a tire insurance policy which was just over $800.00 for everything. As a returning customer to Tire Kingdom, I went with the recommendation of your experienced sales staff, and he proceeded to do the install. I paid by credit card and my truck was finished, later than I was told it would and had to wait two hours additional, but it was finished and I left. During the next few days while I was driving on my new tires, it felt like the rear of the truck was swaying in the rear when turning. It felt as if the rear tires were going to allow the truck to slide and not grip in the rear. I was not sure if it was an issue with the alignment, the tires or if the tech did not tighten something when he was performing the install and/or alignment. I went under the truck and looked but everything looked OK. I checked the air pressure and they were all within spec's the Dodge requires but lower than the tire manufacturer recommends. I checked the lug nuts and they were all tight. So the obvious things to check seemed fine. So, I proceeded to add air to the tires and increase to the amount that NITTO recommends. I drove the truck and the swaying was still there. It actually seemed worse with the higher PSI. I let the air out back to the Dodge spec's and drove again. Still there, swaying and it feels the same and now I am very concerned. I pull a camping trailer with this truck and my family is in it when we travel but now I am wondering how will the tires feel under load? I am not willing to try so I returned to the same store and asked for them to look at the truck. The technician drove the truck and was quite surprised at the way it swayed. He was able to duplicate my concerns and brought it into the shop to check. After he looked at everything he found everything mechanical was OK and no signs of anything loose or broken. He checked the pressure just as I did and increased it just as I did. He drove it again and just like I stated he still feels the swaying issue. He then went to the manager and told him what he found. The technician said that the cause of the swaying is coming from the tires. The side walls are not stiff enough and are allowing the tire to actually fold to the point that when you are turning the tread grips well but the weight of the truck is putting a strain on the side walls. He said that this was a very dangerous issue and that the tires need to be replaced with a different type. The tires I had on the truck before were Michelin's and I never had this problem with them. The reason I did not purchase them was the cost and the recommendation of the sales manager. He told me that the NITTO's were excellent tires and that they were in my budget. My truck is a heavy duty truck and requires a 10 ply load :E range tire so the cost is higher then a regular tire for a basic pickup truck. This is the reason I had the NITTO's installed. Now I have 4 tires on my truck that according to your staff, should be removed and replaced with a different tire. While I was at the store, Robin checked on the Michelin's but did not have them in-stock. They were ordered and will arrive on Tuesday 2/14/12 and he will call me when they arrive. I asked if this would be an even exchange since this was a problem that I had not caused. He said "No" it would be an additional $200.00 approximately. At that point I was not happy and said that I had a strict budget and that it would be hard for me to justify the additional cost. Why? I feel it should be taken care of because this is a safety issue and it should be done without additional cost to me. He then said that he would discuss it with me when the tires came in and when he had an accurate estimate. I said OK and then gave him my cell number to contact me when they arrive. I will be working on Tuesday and will need to leave work which will cost me money. I was there today 2/11/12 to have this issue resolved but the tires were not in-stock and he did not want to put any other tire on the truck. So I have no choice but to return per Tire Kingdoms staff's date. While I was driving home after everything was discussed, I realized at this point that I am driving a truck that per your staff's opinion was dangerous to drive with the tires that were installed and found them not to be compatible or safe for my vehicle. And now my truck sits in the driveway waiting for Tuesday to arrive so I can get the tires removed and replaced with safer ones. This means I will need to have a coworker pick me up on Monday and bring me to and from work. Inconveniencing not only them but myself. To sum up this lengthily e-mail, I am asking that Tire Kingdom do the right thing and authorize a no out-of-pocket exchange of tires from the Nitto Crosstek LT265 /70R17E to Michelin LTX A/S LT265 /70R17E and to honor the 30 day exchange which I am still within plus the package that I previously purchased which included unlimited wheel rotation and balance, 3 years of unlimited wheel alignment and the tire wear/puncture insurance policy. I do feel that this is a reasonable request and that after everything that has occurred it is not asking for too much.

I received a tire alignment at the Tire Kingdom in Poinciana store. I was one of the first customers in the morning and half asleep. The manager told me the price with taxes and shop fees. Being tired I said O.K. When I got home I read the receipt and read about the shop fees of $8.00. They were for shop supplies or waste disposal. An alignment only takes adjustments, no materials whatsoever!!! I called the store and complained to the manager. He told me they charged this fee to everyone who has work done in every store throughout the United States. I told him they are ripping people off. It is just like the banks were going to charge people for using their debit cards a fee of $5.00 a month. We the people spoke up and the banks backed down. We need to get together and fight this fee also. I will no longer use Tire Kingdom and suggest everyone does the same.

Took son's car in to have oil changed and tires rotated in September. He started hearing noise in front end. I told him to take it back . He said he would but as a busy med. student he just kept putting it off. Well he went to leave for work at hospital and came in to ask if he could use my car his was really not feeling rite. I took the car to my machanic who informed me the lug nuts were never properly tightened and were centimeters from falling off his car. when i called NTB they did not want to take responsibility . NEVER TAKE CAR THERE THEY ARE CARELESS OVERPRICED HAVE UNTRAINED KIDS WORKING FOR THEM ... AND YOU WILL WAIT FOR 2 HOURS FOR AN OIL CHANGE YOU MADE APPT. FOR. BECAUSE THEY ONLY HAVE 2 KIDS WORKING EVERYTIME I HAVE GONE IN THERE .BUT NEVER WILL AGAIN... A VERY DANGEROUSE AND POSSIBLY DEADLY MISTAKE

Dear NTB, In August of 2011 I took a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis in for a brake job at the NTB on 125 Park Access Dr. in Lawrenceville, Ga. They told me that the ABS module needed to be replaced and the Master Cylinder. The cost was $1167. After keeping the car for 6 days they call me to tell me it was fixed. When I went to pick up the car the damn brake pedal was still going all the way to the floor. Evidently they never test drove the vehicle before they told me it was finished. Well, fast forward to January 2,2012. The brake icon comes on in the dash so I take the car back to NTB. They inform the car needs a Power Booster. They said that the Power Booster should have been replaced when the other work was done in August. They agree to replace the Power Booster at no charge since they said it was their fault to begin with. They kept the car 3 days this time. They call me to tell me that the car is finished and when I go to drive it the damn brake pedal goes all the way to the floor, again. And to top it all off my Cruise Control quit working as well. It was working when I dropped it off because I used it on the way to drop the car off the first time. I took it straight back to the dealership and ask to speak with the manager Blake Owens. I was told he was already gone for the day ( at 2:00 pm in the afternoon by the way) and it would be 2-3 hours before they could re-check my car since they only had 1 technician on staff. I told them to stuff it up their backside and I would take it somewhere else. I ended up having to go to the Lilburn, Ga. location where they finally fixed the brakes. The technician there told me that when the other jerks (Chris Warren and Aaron Morse) worked on the Master Cylinder they cross threaded the brake line allowing air into the system and destroying the other mastercylinder. I was there about 4 hours before they could get the part and get it put on. To their credit they were understanding and made sure the brakes were working properly before they gave it back. However, my cruise control still doesn't work. I was given the name of an NTB rep by the name of Enrique Sanders, I called and of course got his voice mail and no call back from him. Bottom line I will NEVER use NTB for any repairs on my car again. You all have lied, cheated me out of money, and given me car that was in worse shape than when I brought it in originally. Sincerely, Charles Wood 770-318-5815

Please be careful. Double check your invoice!! I dropped my car off at TireKingdom on Saturday(Tuskawilla location). They were very busy. I needed an alignment and two new tires. They never called to discuss the price nor did they have my car ready on time. I had to leave it overnight and then they tried to present me with a new invoice that was $55 higher than the one they original showed me the day before. My car is driving much better and the price was reasonable but not sure this place is worth the hassle!

We have most of the work on our cars done at Tire Kingdom, but I am very unhappy about our recent experience. On Dec 29 we had an oil change done at the Sanford, Fl. location on 17-92. On Dec 30 as we were leaving to go on vacation the car started smoking profusly. We were closer to the Sanford, Fl location on Hwy. 46 so we went there. We discovered the oil cap had not been put back on and the oil was spilling out all over the engine and the head liner of the hood. The store we stopped at was most helpful, cleaned the engine, washed the car and put 2 gts. of oil in the car and got us on our way. I was pleased with their service. However I feel the Hwy 17-92 store did very poor quality service and could have caused us severe damage to the engine. I will not be returning to that location again and feel management needed to know about the poor quality of service. I must say the management at the store on Hwy 46 was very helpful. I feel we should be compensated with a free oil change in the future for the risk we were put in and the delay this caused us on our vacation. Sincerely, Allan and Rhea Campbell

I got a break job done in Seminole FL. in Oct of 2010 on my 2006 Buick Rendezvous with 53,000 miles. I have never had a problem with brakes, but certainly they were worn and probably needed new pads. Within 3 months the front brakes were chattering terribly. took it in and they said they didn't know why, but would turn rotors again. In May of 2011 terrible chattering again. Went in again and told them something must be wrong with installation, as this car has NEVER done this. Nope, don't see anything wrong, but the rotors are too thin to turn again, so I will need to buy two new ones, but they won't charge me labor. Wow, what a deal. Went ahead and got the new rotors and asked again if something was installed wrong. Nope! In September of 2011 brakes pulling to left terribly. Took in and they "adjusted" and did wheel alignment. In December of 2011 front left had terrible clicking noise. Took to another garage in Seminole that can be trusted. Was informed that the clips were not installed properly and the pad had terrible heat cracks in them. They also don't think these are new rotors only 6 months old. Of course Tire Kingdom says I should have brought back to them to check out, but after 4 trips, why would I let them work on my car again???????????????

I just purchased 4 new tires for my son's car.The company ran an ad advertising buy one tire get one free. When I arrived they told me the special included certain tires which included the tire I was looking at ( Cooper Lifeliner GLs) with 60,000 miles. However the salesman said the sale was buy three get one free. I also had to purchase the one year alignment. While the car was back there, they preceded to tell us we needed to have rear brakes replaced, price $500 more dollars I will never recommend Tire Kingdom to my worst enemy. I recommend AAA, at least they are reputable. Please do your homework before buying tires. Read comments on Twitter,Facebook, Angies List and BBB

Unfortunately there are no options for negative stars. I bought 3 sets of tires in 2009. One of those sets were 60,000 mile Cooper tires. They were completely bald after 36,000 miles. The manager at the store on Hwy 98 North in Lakeland told me he had never seen a set of tires that wore like that. I originally paid 450.00 for the tires, mounting and balancing. The tires were 76.00 each plus mounting and balancing. The tires have been rotated regularly, as well as my car is serviced regularly. I took my car back because they were under warranty. They informed me that they would give me 50% off a set of new tires, and that my total would be 386.00 plus taxes, which included paying for mounting and balancing again. In doing the math, I can see this is not 50% off. They did bring the total price down to $300.00 which is still not 50% off, but feeling it was unsafe to keep my wife driving in the car with the tires in that condition, I went ahead and purchased them. Using a warranty, I should be paying 50% of what I paid in 2009 for the tires, not 50% of what they are going for today. If I buy something at Walmart a year ago and it is defective, and I return it...they give me back the price I paid a year ago, not the price the item is going for today. Seems as if Tire Kingdom would operate the same way. Unfortunately it doesn't seem as if they are interested in keeping repeat customers who have always been loyal to their company and never hesitated to refer them to absolutely everyone. I have contacted their area sales manager, Tim Fenisey for some resolve, who basically told me they were going to do nothing to correct the situation and keep a loyal customer. If Tire Kingdom cannot make this right...they will have lost a customer for good.
