Still waiting

It's been twenty says since i had to exchange a couch and pay for delivery twice, just to recieve a couch that looks horrible all ripped under the bottom i paid lesser value and is owed money, was suppose to receive a check in the mail in 7-14 days yet still NOTHING, called and basically got told just wait, i wouldn't refer anyone to these crooks

Brought a sectional from them the pillows started to send the ottoman leather began to crack called them 7 months after purchasing the furniture sent pictures and they waited months to contact me and then stating my warranty was no good yet I contacted them months before my warranty ran out

Horrible service I ordered a mattress set for well over a 1000 they told us we would have it delivered within 4 weeks now when I call they are telling me I need to wait an additional 4 weeks they have still not given me an explanation and when you call there corporate number all u get is a recording this company is a joke

This place delivered me furniture with rips on it and replaced it twice and it still had rips on it, dont goto this place, they suck

no return policy

I bought a couch and love seat 3 weeks ago, realized how cheap it was and they told me "all sales are finale." I couldn't even pay a restocking fee or exchange it for something else. Never did they tell me about not having even a 30 day return policy. Sketchy.

Worst company ever

I recently bought a couch, a kitchen table and a entire dresser set they brought the wrong couch And I still haven't got the right couch yet I paid well over a grand. I'll never go with this company again and I suggest nobody else to either. The worst customer service ever!!!!

you guys have the worst service ever in akron ohio. someone needs to do something about it. i've been waiting for 2 days for my purchase and its supposed to be same day delivery. when they finally brought my things i had two mattresses missing to my kids bunk beds and they're still not assembled and im still missing the two mattresses. i do not recommend there service to anyone someone needs to really loose there job over this sorry to say you guys are so unprofessional.

If you think buying furniture is bad never work for these fools. They work you to death don't give you no lunch break and don't pay you for any overtime hours you may have worked. My boyfriend help them set up a new store in goodlettsville tn and he worked 6 days straight up to 10 hours a day unloading furniture never got a lunch break which is against the law and wad only paid for 37 hours when he worked 57. They are unprofessional company and the managers inexperienced idiots.

Worst customer service ever! Although I love the furniture I purchased, I have been waiting almost 6 months on replacement cushions I ordered, and I was quoted 6 weeks! The manager never called me back, I have called numerous times, and the manager is never there. I would NEVER reccommend them to a friend or family member!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The worst furniture place ever- they have very rude employees, who do not check stock before selling something to customer, they do not (including the manager) return phone calls, you have to chase after them (which I don’t think a customer should have to do) I am warning you people, pay more for your furniture get better service but stay far far far away from this store.

Do not order furniture from this corporation. They are unprofessional, and render subpar service. I ordered and paid for my furniture in full on 10/05/12 it is now 12/02/12, and I still have not received my furniture. All of the correspondence that I have received regarding the receipt of my furniture has been ambiguous, and I had to initiate those conversations. Disgusted is not even the appropriate word to describe my frustration. If I do not receive correspondence by tomorrow (12/03/12) in writing regarding my delivery date, and a fair compensation they are going to award me for not delivering my furniture as contracted (between 4 to 6 weeks), I will be calling my bank to void the charges.

This place in Chattanooga TN should be put out of business they lied to me the mattress set i bought is no good after one month i rather sleep on the floor than sleep on theme i don't see how this place can stay in business they should be put out of business people work hard for there money to by junk so place do not buy anything from American furniture.

i got preapproved on web sight then i was called to go to the store pickout a bedroom set then it was 5piece set said i had to only have 229.00 on cr then when they came to my house i had no night stand or chester that was to be with it call them they said i did not order that the cr was 1500.00 now all the sudden it is 2500.00 yeah okay im not giving then a dime more they are a fake liers and they are low down dirty

I ordered furniture from American Freight on Morse Road. It was supposed to be scotch guarded and it wasn't. I called for two weeks to get ahold of a manager and no one ever called me back. I finally called and got the general manager. He said he would have it in bottles for me to pick up at the store. My husband went to pick it up and the store manager had no idea what he was talking about. He got home and told me she was rude to him and had no idea what he was talking about. I called the store and spoke with her. She was rude to me and called me a liar and told me what i was telling her was wrong. She didn't want to refund my $100 or send anyone out to but the guard on my furniture. She told me I could bring it back to the store and they would do it for me. I told her I lived an hour away and couldn't do that. She was RUDE!!! and she hung up on me!! This place is awful to deal with. You might find good deals but be ready for a headache!

I am rating this five scumbag stars!!!! I say we all send our stories to 60 Minutes or 20/20 and put corporate faces of theives on primetime evening news. The producers could do a great undercover sting at all the locations and with the devils at corporate. LET'S TAKE AMERICA BACK

i fill like i was conned out of my money they did not tell me that when you buy a set from them you have to pay for every thing headbord rells and mattress boxspring,for 800.00 when they came to deliver the bed all they had was headbord and rells no mattress or boxspring , i made it clear that i did not want to spend over 400.00. that company will hear from the B.B.B. and there corpotate headquarders .800.00 for just a bed that more like a fullset with dressers and all thats why i fill i was conned

"0" STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION...I would never suggest this place to anybody EVER!!!! I cannot believe the complete lack of professionalism in these stores! Where do they find these people???? They're reputations are worse than car salesmen! The Columbus,OH location on Morse rd. is SOOOO GHETTO!!! The employees are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! You will hear them having conversations about their personal lives, sex lives, and just random crap. They have attitudes, they have no knowledge about their products, they will lie all the way just to make a sell even though they know that THEY NEVER HAVE PRODUCTS IN STOCK, AND THAT THE ITEMS YOU WANT ARE VERY LIKELY DISCONTINUED, BUT THEY STILL HAVE THEM ON THE FLOOR AS PART OF THEIR SELECTION TO CHOOSE FROM!!!! However, They always have "THE CLOSER" on stand-by....The sweet talker who will tell you everything you wanna hear...They will take your money and make promises, but when they fail to meet your expectations, they then inform you that you cannot get a refund, and you cannot even take your money to another location!!! I had $2500 worth of products in layaway and everytime I went in to make a payment everything seemed ok but....When I went in to get the layaway out...THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING IN STOCK AND SOME ITEMS WERE COMPLETELY DISCONTINUED!!!! Why wasn't anything mentioned at anytime when I went in to make a payment???? OH YEAH!!! It's because they have MY MONEY HELD HOSTAGE AND MY ONLY OPTION NOW IS STORE CREDIT!!!!! WHY SHOULD I BE FORCED TO GIVE THESE PEOPLE MY BUSINESS??? MY MONEY??? WHEN THEY COMPLETELY FAILED AT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION???? I set up a layaway for a king size bedroom set from the American Freight Store #42 in Marietta, GA. In the beginning, the tranactions with my order went well. The issues began thereafter I had completed my payoff and had a zero balance. Firstly, I had to wait 3 weeks before a deliverly date could be set. 2)When I called days before the deliverly to get a window of time for the deliverly, the sales rep could not give me one. 3)On the day of the deliverly, I called 4 times to get a window of time and still could not get one. 4)When I did get a deliverly time, the sales rep tried to sell me another bedroom set instead of the one I ordered and paid for. 5)When my furniture was ordered, they forgot to order my headboarde/footboard and frame and had to give up a temporary bedrail set, 6)When the deliverly came, they forgot my 2nd night stand so my husband and I decided to go into the store to pick up another one. 7)When we got to the store, we noticed that the demo bedroom set on the warehouse floor was missing a nightstand and a chest then realized that the sales rep gave us the demo instead of ordering us the new furniture that we paid for. 8)When we talke with the sales rep, he disclosed to us that our furniture set had been discontinued. 9) After all of this poor service, we decided to get a refund and give back the mismatched furniture that was delivered. 10) When we asked about the refund process, the same sales rep that I dealt with from beginning to end said that there was a waiting process. This is garbage and American Freight will never get my business or anyone that I know. God help you if you order furniture from here!
