I bought a bedroom set from the store in Knoxville TN. And now my whole bedroom is infested in bed bugs. I live in a nice home that was completely remodeled less thN a year ago and had been sprayer by pest control and the carpets were all cleaned by stanely steamers. I know for a fact these bugs came from the bedroom set, I have never had any kind of bugs in my life!! I bought this set after only one month of payments so I do own the nasty furniture now, but it was only a few months ago so I feel Aaron's is still responsible. I contacted Aaron's and they acted like it was very unlikely it has come from their produucts. They sent two employees out to inspect and the found the bugs on my box spring, my night stand and the carpet where my bed was setting. This is after we sprayed bed bug spray vacuumed the bed set. Even after the Aaron's manager found them in the products they sold me he still tried to convince me that they most likely were not from that bed BC the products I bought were "new" if that was the case the other two bed rooms which are on the opposite end of my home are fine. No bugs the mattress have no residue or bugs on them nor do my couches or any of the other furniture that I bought from actual trustworthy furniture stores now I am waiting for Orkin to come inspect and then Aaron's will decide if they are at fault or not. Which by the way things are going I'm assuming the will say they are not at fault. So my husband myself being pregnant and my four year old daughter arrested forced to wait around and live with these bugs until they decide whether they will take action or if I will pay out my ass to rid my house of these bugs. If it comes to that legal actions will be taking. I advise everyone to not buy from here I wish I would have known this. And from my internet research this is a very common problem from this company. Please pray for us and a good out come.

i have been buying from aarons for about three years now.and almost always from the store in york south carolina on liberty street.but last year they had a problem getting a ryder mower for me.so i went to another store in rockhill sc on cherry road.and got it from them.big mastake.it took them one week to deliver it they told me the driver of the truck had a axident and was in the hosp.when i called.three days after it did not come.they told me it would be there the same day that the aggreement was signed.so it took a week.to get.i did some checking around found out no one had any axadents.they lied!! strike on.when i finely got the mower and tryed to useit it did not run well it shook it stalled it ratteled it make a loud bang and tipped over with my wife on it.and a lot of smoke came from it from the gas tank was looking on the engine and it made the smoke was told it whent over because the deck dropped down all by its self because it was not installed right.my wife hurt her rist realy bad.i called the store to come and get it because of the problems.so they came and got it three days later.and sent me a bill for seven houndred dollars.i have sence then got a attorney.i no longer have the mower and i am about ready to return all the stuff i got from the other store.iam not paying for something that don't work.and that caused codly injoury to someone.infact i think they owe me money.i payed inadvance one houndred and forty four up front.had this mower for three days.this store is shit.iam going to fight they are not going to take advantage of me or anyone elese.these things are swept under the carpet and nothing is ever done about it.i called my local new paper they want to interview me.because they say the better business has thirty four complants about this store.and thats to many.iam also contacting the better business beru as well.and my local channel nine news.and what ever elese it takes to stop this from happing ever again to anyone. iam telling people now not to do business with the aarons store on north cherry road in rockhill sc 29732.our strenth is in nummbers get them before they get others!! thank you very much

If I could I would give Aaron's a middle finger for the rating i would..... me and my husband rented a bedroom set...... a couple days later we starting seeing lil bugs crawling from the head board. So we called them they said they would send orkins over to inspect the furniture and my house... 3 days later when the finally arrived they said that they were bed bugs....so we called them back and they started acting like the bugs was already in my home like really wtf so now we are still waiting for the next step we call n call them but there taking a long time to respond to us but let these bed bugs show up in my kids room I'm burning there stuff... I bet they will respond then.......

I just paid off my Tv and within the month the screen went black. I called and it was still under warranty. They sent it off and when I get it home the screen works for 2 minutes and cuts off now again no picture! I am pissed!

after readdeing these posts i'm more then determinted then ever to get my expierence out there so that es many ppeople of my community can be warned as possiable. I had rented something them in the past and kept it for a few months and turned it back it. The manager at the time was very understanding. Wll back in Fbuary of this year I rented at computer that was suppose to be used becauuse we do that ofter well do the 90 days same as cash on used iteems and get a good deal. Well this was a cold call and the sales girl told me that she h and if I wante t she would put it aside and I would get a free DVR for a week to try out. We dident want it but seh ke[t insisting that it wouldent cost us anything to jut gve it a try . So to make a long story short I was in a bad car accident the ap top was in it with me. When I got out of te hospital 10 days later the tow company wanted 1500$ to get m car and the things out of the car. I dident have it. the manager at the time was very understanding. I continued to mae the payments. whe I was finally abe to get my things out of the car the computer wasent there.. I fineally found it oe of the emloyees had it. they had burnt holes in the keyaroard and it woudent work. They day I ccame home after having my second surgery my 16 year old daughter picked me up from the hospital and we stopped at Aarons on the way home. She took the computer in and they told her to tell me never to step back into that F ing store again and some other vulgar words. To my 16 year. I couldent believe it. Isent that illegal for a grow man to talk to a 16 year old like tht. This was nt the original manager I was dealing with to begin with who knew my story and what was going on. I want to warn anyone who is thinking about doing anything with Arons . They are the most worse compay I have ever dealt wth. I'm checking into taking out an add in our local paper ecause I'm from a very small tw. So be warned everyone.

Aaron's managers in Casselberry florida is rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate. I will never refer anyone to them. I feel bad for their employess. No one should have to suffer because of a bunch of rotten managers!!!!

the Aarons on 411 south walnut st Newport Delaware #302-777-1122 is no good they came and got my fridge an replace it with a kid fridge i ask the how long would it be before i get my fridge back he said it take about two weeks five days later they bought my fridge i ask the guys what was wrong with it he said nothing we blog it up an put a bottle of water n it an it okay i said freeze dont work he said yes it do give it 2 hours i came down stairs that night all my food n freezer went bad my called they said n am call at 10 the only girl call me an my wife a yall could feel how that turn out ant a b lol people r crazy all s they here omg c what they got to say

I've been waiting almost 2 years for aaron's to repair my leadroom furniture. After the first 6 months with no repair ser vice, we started making partial payments to hopefully get point aarons and the would fix it. If they can't keep their promise on service why should we pay the outrageous price for pieces of crap.we're down to 5 biweekly payments and they refused to take a payment on 5-19-2012 as discussed on phone. They broke agreement first by not repairing merchandise.

I would rate Aaron's rentals less than a 1 also!!!!! I got a washing machine from them and no longer wanted it. I kept telling them to come and get it and they told me that they were not going to come and get it, that I owed a payment on it. The stupid lady showed up at my house with her "general manager" (what a joke for a gm) and told me that I did not make a payment. I told them you come in my yard and tell me I didn't make a payment? They never introduced themselves, just said we are here for a payment. Well the idiots didn't get a payment, they spent that gas to come to my house and then they had to spend the gas for the delivery truck to come get the washer. They also claimed that someone had been to my house several times, I know that is not true cause those places always leave a leaflet on the door. Don't lie to me and then expect me to do buisness with a sorry company like that. My husband told them to get off of our property, they came to my house like they were the police. Well you have lost another customer. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN AND I WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS NOT TOO. This was in Roxboro, NC, don't deal with them!!!!!

Arron slae lady lied to me, manipulated the price of the merchandise after the sale. The furniture was ripped and the furniture was held 5 days and was suppose to be repaired, upon delivery of the furniture 5 days after the lease and payment. The furniture arrived and was not cleaned like I was assured it would be, the rips were still in the sofa. To make the matter no interesting there was a large size baggie filled with marijuana under the sofa cushion. I showed the to employess that delivered the furniture the marijuana and told them this is how I know the furniture was not cleaned. The employees looked shocked and said " OH SHIT". Which after the hurried away. Several days later I made a complaint to the manager at the store. Considering I wrong construction and long hours. The manager just looked like he really wasn't interested. I paid my payments til my lease was up, 6 months. The furniture has still not been repaired and it became my responability to schedule a day when a strange can come to my house and fix the furniture. WTF I think not. A few days ago it is now 8 months in my rental and the last 2 months I have not paid. I call the corporate office and spoke to the vice president of AAron's Rental secretary and made her aware of my complaint. Only after she assured me the vice president was not in. She than ask me what I wanted I ask her " what would she think is a suitable resolution". she could not give me a direct answer. Later the regional mangaer called and told me to pay for the furniture or they would come get it. I told him I'd call him back in a few days. I think Aarons sucks I have had more issues with my laptop because is slows work boot up sometimes restartes its self wont type when I type Aarons on Comcerial Str in Oregon told me they would reset it completely but did not so why shouls I pay for something when it does not do what I need it to do for school ?

Arrons is one of the worst stores that I have been in, the customer service is horrible. I went in there and the manager tires to fight me and all, like what. I mean very month I am on time and what do I get problems with the product, rude service very time. I am the customer and if I singed a contract and I obey it very month then they should hold up to there end as well. Will never buy anything else from them point blank period.

Awful. We purchased a sectional with two end tables, two lamps, a rug, and a coffe table bundle. Not only were the deliverers beyond late, they had seemed to be in a huge hurry And urged me to sign a paper stating that we had received our items. I signed. Then, I was trying to arrange (since they threw everything right in the middle of the floor) and noticed not one, but 3 rips in the sofa! All the glass to the table were scratched along with the lamps. I called right away. They said in two weeks someone would be out to look. Two weeks later they come and say that the glass doesn't match, and someone must had scrounged them together last minute. And they were going to replace everything that was damaged. So we wait. And wait. And wait some more. I had called recently to see when it would be delivered and they had no idea. So we wait more. Finally, three weeks after that, I call again. And now they say that they won't replace it!! And the paper I had signed, was a statement saying everything was in good condition, but was not notified that. Very frustrated, and getting ahold of corporate, well that's another joke. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND.

Well Im giving this a 5 star Just for all you pissed off customers. We rented from yours truely for about 6 months a stove and other appliances. About 3 store managers later had issues with them. threatened to pick up goods I said come on over. well I stewed for a while and came up with this!! Im gonna lose a little dough anyhow . So I stripped the guts out of the washer and the oven.the boys came to retrive and gave me a reciept for the property sayin I was off the hook. well I got the call I was waiting for!! now shoe was on other foot . I stated you must be mistaken I gave back quality stuff LOL . So i cracked open a cold one, and began to smile !! so this ones from all of us to all of you . The tale of bob and dotty

Monday me and my wife went in and payed cash for a sofa and luv seat. They said they would deliver tuesday the very next day between 3 and 7. I found an older ladie that could use my old sofa and luv seat so i took it to her tuesday at 2:00 pm. So my wife and i decided to clean the carpets while waiting. around 6:30pm. They called and said they broke our sofa moving it. I know things happen but there was no reason we had to wait till thursday at 7:00 pm before we could finally stop sitting on the floor. I talked to the guy about bringing something old or useed to hold us over till thursday they didnt have any and he said they would bring a newer one but they cant because we paid cash. They dont normally do that to cash customers is what he said. I have children and i felt bad when my family had to sit on the floor. I think next time ill go somewhere else. Dyersburg Tn 38024

May 11, 2012 Regional Manager Aaron's Rent-To-Own Gerogia Re: Furniture account Mr. Jackson: As a long-time customer of Aaron's, I have something I need to get settled. Se ago i went into your Brunswick store and spoke with the store assistant manager, Leslie, with whom I have had a long-standing and amicable relationship, and informed her of some problems I was having with the living room furniture suit I was purchasing for my daughter, whom also has outstanding credit with this store. She and I have ALWAYS taken the best care possible of any products we have purchased from your company, whether they were paid for or not, and we have ALWAYS been led to believe that anything we have purchased was brand new. When I got the furniture suit for her, it was the most expensive suit in the store at the time, and I got the whole package, furiture and accessories. my payments were around $170.00 per month for 24 months. With about 6 months left on my contract, the FAKE leather, which I was told was REAL leather, started peeling away from the fabric. It wasn't just a spot here and there, it covered the entire span of the cushions of the sofa, and they could not be flipped. Also, there were several places we found inspection of the love seat, that had NEVER been sewn together when the upholstery was put on it. The store had already sent out the "Furniture Doctor" twice before this major incldent because the frames in the built-in recliners on the sofa had broken and the nuts and bolts were coming loose from the coffee and end tables. After notifying her of this recent and MAJOR situation, Lesie went to store manager, Will Ali, with it. he said he would take care of everything. Three appointments were made with Mr. Ali to come take pictures of the damage to the sofa and love seat. He never showed up. He never called to say why he couldn't show up. Paul, another Aaron's emloyee, who is also involved with this mess, did.....he will be back in the story shortly. To make a long story short, Will said he would try to find an outfit as close to what he had as possible. We looked at a couple of sets, but they were either filthy or damaged (cigarette burns, broken frames, etc.). The suit we finally settled on even had cat scratches all over the bottom of the leather on the back of the sofa, but I took it because I felt like Will just wasn't going to do any better and maybe we could hide the scratches against the wall in the living room. Once we decided upon getting the set, I was told by Paul that I needed to bring my account current before we get the "new" set. He came to my house with a new contract for the remaining four payments I owed, as they were writing off the two months I owed and refused to pay until this situation was rectified. My husband and my daughter witnessed this transaction. I immediately noticed that the contract said I still owed six payments and called it to Paul's attention. He said, "Oh I know. Don't worry about that. We just haven't adjusted those two months payments off yet". I told my husband, "now, you heard what he just said, didn't you?", and he said, "Yes, I did!" I went ahead, in good faith and signed the contract and gave Paul the post-dated check so they would go ahead and switch my daughter's furniture out. They refused to do it until they had a payment, and I am on disability and only get paid once a month, of which they are well aware. So I had no choice but to give a post-dated so we could go ahead and finish taking care of this mess, and at this point I thought the situation was rectified. My daughter finally got the replacement set. When they came to switch the sets out, then who right end fell off of the old sofa when the movers went to pick it up. What a surprise!!!! In the midst of all of this, my daughter also wanted to get a new laptop in her name if Will was willing to let her make her first payment on the third of the following month. He had originally said yes....no problem....because she also has excellent credit there, and has no open accounts, but when he realized I hadn't paid my payment yet, he then refused her. She was very embarrassed and told him and me she would never be a customer again. I am in end-stage renal failure, and I am consta ntly in the hospital, as I was when my payment came due this month, so I sent my daughterin to make my payment for me. When I got home, she immediately called to my attention that my receipt showed I had owed six payments before the payment was made, so within two hours after I had been released from the hospital, I was back at Aaron's......and yes, i was upset. I told the story to the lady waiting on me. Of course she had to go get Will. NOW WILL SAYS I AM LYING ABOUT EVERYTHING HE AND PAUL SAID AND DID!!!! In within hearing range of all the employees and the customers he called me a liar and a con artist trying to run a scam. He said that he sees a "pattern in me". I was so humilitated and upset!!!! He says he sees a pattern in me of trying to get things from your company for free because I brought back a set of tires I had purchased from Rimco. Yes, I brought them back. THEY WERE STILL UNDER WARRANTY AND HAD DRY-ROTTED. We had a blow out on the interstate and just about gotten killed. When the STORE EMPLOYEE checked the other tires, we found they we all starting to do it. How is that my fault? Isn't that what a warranty is for? Will says he went out of his way to help us. I totally disagree. My daughter had even seen a couple of used sets on the store floor she would have taken, but they didn't want to seem to agree to that. If they would have, we could have had the situation rectified in days instead of months. Will says he did everything he could, and that you were going to be mad with him for what he did do, that he did more for us than he was approved to do, and that he sees "what he gets for trying to help out a customer". Excuse my vulgarity, but that's a bunch of shit!! I have never treated so horribly by a representative of ANY company in my entire life!!! I owe two more payments on this account (4 more, accounting to them), and when I get those paid off, neither I, nor ANY of my RELATIVES OR FRIENDS will ever come anywhere even close to another Aaron's store, much else buy something there. I would have to be dying to do so! I feel Will owes me an apology, at the very least, and the other employees should know that he overstepped his authority in the way he treated me. If you want to talk to me personally, I am at home after 5:00 pm almost every day. I have dialysis on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, all afternoon until then. We purchased a washer from the huntingtin, wv store. We were told it was a brand new washer, we had it about 2 days and it started making a loud noise, we kept it till the payment was due. We went to.the store to pay the payment and explained about the noise, we picked out another washer and when they came to deliver and take the broken one we received a dented, rusted, and the top was not bolted down, piece of shit, not what we picked out, said it was only a loaner and ours would be fixed in a week, no longer than two weeks, well here our payment is due on the 16th of May. If I'm going to pay new prices I expect a new washer, will be sending the crap back and will never step foot in your store again and will tell all my friends and family not to use them, I don't know how you stay in business, and if I can get you closed down I will. The managers don't know what they are doing and need to be trained in telling the truth about your merchandise instead of lying.

I was renting a Dell - HP net book & TV since 9/2011. I had been paying on acct. till March 2012. I have been going thru family issues & medical issues and lost UE income. My Aunt had been talking to Aaron up till March 2012 when had to address own family issues. Anyways in the mean time when I was gone for a week place I was staying at, my Aunt's sisters had some company from out of state. Apparently the teen in the family was kicked out and during fight to get him out my TV was damaged beyond repair. I later learned he had taken my two computers :-( I learned that insurance I paid in rental amazingly did not cover Theft or damage unless act of God! So, figured nothing could do but keep paying even though lost all three items. Then lost income in April UE stopped and got sick again. Get a call 5/9/12 from police saying Kevin, Mngr was filing report of theft as well the company had charged off the Dell and was in collections as was behind 6 wks. When my Aunt tried to call as I was at doctors the store Mngr., Kevin (who mind you in the past had no problem speaking with her in Feb. 2012 when she helped me pay out $515 paying them thru 3/15/12, told her would not speak with her. I take meds and was just to groggy yesterday. I am calling police today to explain situation, but I think its TERRIBLE that they even filed a report after all the money I have paid. I was afraid to tell them items stolen & broke. My Aunt just read contract and realized that if the insurance I have been paying doesn't cover then I am responsible only for Fair Market value NOT to-exceed cash price. Net book & TV were grossly over priced and used. Looked on E Bay and can barely get $125 (cash price $330) on net book & $200 on T V (cash price $459). Dell was new but on E Bay selling for $285 (cash price $809). I am going thru sever depression as result of 6 mth. homeless 1st of 2011 after loosing job (college grad too), my Aunt & her sister have been trying to help me since last Aug. get through this and I was doing better till Feb. when had major family issue with my sick mom. I have no problem per the contract paying the Fair market value AS STATED " IF LOST OR DAMAGED". I AM WORRIED they filed 3RD DEGREE FELONY CHARGE as I DID NOT steal items, but a victim.
