UPS lost a 180lb palette that had irreplaceable parts on it not made since 1989.no explanations of where it could be or how it got lost.it didn't just disappear but that's what they claim.so I put a claim in for $3500 I get a check for ,$180,,$1 per pound.commited to customer satisfaction,..no.,..logistics,...no.,.waste of life forms. I begged Costco to ship my computer via USPS, but they said no, only UPS would do. I begged them to find a way to tell UPS to have its deliveryman come to the back door as neither I nor anyone I know uses my front door, which isprotected by a glassed in porch. They said they couldn't, though many other sellers can. They gave me an earlier delivery date than I expected, nice I thought. Oh, how wrong. In checking the tracking number on Tuesday, the day they told me it would be delivered, I was told I would get it by Wednesday night. I stayed home all day so I could receive the computer as I had an appt to bring it to my computer guru to set up. It never arrived. In the evening I again checked the tracking number to find that delivery attempts had allegedly been made on both Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a sign in rather large print scotch-taped to the window of my porch door telling package deliverers to deliver to the back. i have a mail slot in the door through which mail is delivered. In neither place, the back door or the floor of the front portch, was there any delivery notice. I called UPS and got an obliging but helpless woman who said she would send a msg to UPS and someone would call me after 10 a.m. Thursday. Wrong. I cannot stay home all day waiting for a delivery from someone incompetent to deliver. I need a time. I have apptmts today from 10 till a little after 4. This a.m. at 8:40 or so I called Costco, looking for some relief. The best I got was if UPS returned the package, I should let them know, and they would ship it again via ups. while I was talking to Costco, someone from the local UPS office called to say he would make sure the driver had gone to the right address and had left a notice. A lot of good that would do with a delivery today. I called the only UPS office I could, the 800 number, got another nice, ineffectual woman who said she could neither connect me to the UPS office in Maumee, O., nor connect me to it. I asked repeatedly for a supervisor. Finally, she said she would try to connect me. She put me on hold for two minutes, came on and said she was connecting me to a supervisor. I waited another minute and hung up to begin a search for corporate officers, of both UPS and Costco. Just as i was headed out the door a local UPS person called, said they couldn't as a rule deliver after four, and couldn't deliver either first thing tomorrow morning or late afternoon either. Then he thought he might leave the pkg with the neighbor, tho my neighbor is going to a lot of physical therapy these days. i don't know what will happen. This is not the service I bargained for. I hope to never have to do biz with UPS again. And, all of its corporate officers and directors will find out why.

So I also had a problem with the ups people I had a damaged phone which I was told to put in a drop box I put the package in the drop box dec 23 and it is now march 5 and tmobile is charging me 400 dollars for a phone that I sent back that supposedly ups never received and never scanned I don't understand how all of a sudden my package goes missing but yet there is no way any one can take any thing out of the drop box so where the hell is my dam package and they have the nerve to tell me they can't file any kind of claim on it because it was never scanned so I also will be taking legal matters into my own hands for the amout of money that the phone was worth and for my suffering

UPS has repeated ignored my complaints about the area supervisor who lives on my street. I today watched as UPS delivered to his house again. Last year I had several packages that were weeks late. I called and called and emailed security even. After I raised cain, magically the packages appeared. The table was broken and two umbrellas arrived since the shipper had to reship but I only received 1 pc of the set from the first set. The tires were delivered with one missing and the site said the business was closed ....I AM NOT A BUSINESS!!! finally I did receive it after another week of complaining. The envelope was opened and my check evidently wasn't what they wanted. This happens over and over as I watch the UPS truck deliver to the house down the street .....where the supervisor LIVES! I called awaiting another package this month....and the lady was so rude that she hung up said when I got thru complaining she would tell where to go?????? and then blocked my number. I had to email iReport at CNN to get a call back to assure me that my packages in the future would be signed only to accept. THIS GUY IS STEALING UPS............the supervisor in conjunction with the driver. HOW many times do I Have to see it? He gave a block party a few months ago.....cooked for about 300 people and someone 3 blocks over called the police to the noise. Why can you not check to see this man is stealing???? I was to have a package delivered to me on 1/10/2012, I was upstairs facing the window when the UPS truck pass my house went to the end of the street, turn around then blew by my house without stopping. I was sitting at my computer so I pulled up my tracking number, and it stated that it was delivered to my front door. I thought well he/she is good, they must have thrown it thru the door of the speeding truck because the truck never stopped in front of my home. Knowing there was no way my package was at the door, I went down stairs open the door and of course nobody is that good, if they are they are in the NFL, not UPS. Now I call the only number UPS will give out Yall know the one 800 742 5877# LOL, get to talk with Angela Empoyee # 2168, I repeat my experience, that I was home saw this with my own eyes. Went on to say that if I hadn't been here and witnessed it, I would have just thought the delivery wasn't made, or that someone took my package off my porch. This was not the case in this case. Angela, states that because this was an Amazon, purchase the UPS, will not handle the problem, Amazon will. I objected because Amazon didn't make the mistake, UPS did, it wasn't an Amazon employee that screwed up, but a UPS employee, she went on to say there was nothing she could do on her end. That I should call Amazon and tell them the problem. So the UPS employee isn't confronted with their poor perfromance, they go home thinking they have done everything correctly, no wonder they have all these complaints, and those are just the ones that have taken their time to write on this website. As a manager in customer service for more than twenty years, this is not they way to go about improving customer care and quality service. I did call Amazon, who were very professional, understood my frustrations and handle a refund for my losses, what a shame, it wasn't their fault they took the hit. I have also gone through five different phone numbers for the UPS distribution center in my area, they are all disconnected, bad numbers. UPS is only directing their calls through the 1 800 #, and that is obvious to me due to the fact they cannot staff a complaint line to handle the volume of calls that they would get on a daily bases by the looks of this website. Your drivers waste alot of fuel, speeding off from stops in this neighborhood only to slam on the brakes after going a shot distance, in addition to your fuel costs, how many brake jobs are you doing a year? UPS is a company which exploits it success to hide the reality of how it has come about. I have lived through and seen the horrible way ups treats it drivers and employees. This company is scandalas. Don't be fooled. Ask any driver in town about their work enviroment and let them tell you about it. With this tough economy ups has gotten even tougher on their emplyoyess. They run a very non-ethical abusive company that only benefits shareholders and managers above the operational level. Many drivers face divorce and alcohol abuse dealing with mentall and physical stress that is unpresidented and hiddem from the public. MY Rating is MINUS 100 for Yuma Az Foothils Post office . The women are untreated in the worst case of menopause in medical history journals. My parcel never did reach its destination, shipping was $30.00. I recommend one never counts on these INEPTS to be able to put parcels in a bin for delivery. THE UNTHINKING LIVING DEAD staff in YUMA FOOTHILLS AZ. They should all be fired on the spot for incompetence! Never again will I waste my money on a non existant service!

If I could possibly rate UPS less than 1 star I would. My first encounter was about 8 years ago when a delivery driver first asked my 62 year-old mother in law who is obviously severly unhealthy and unable to lift heavy items if she could help pick up the package and bring it in. As if that wasn't bad enough, he then DROPS the package (which contained a large tv) and broke it. When we contacted customer service we were told there was nothing they could (or would) do because it hadn't been insured, dispite the fact that the delivery man was the one who caused the damage! My second encounter was today in which I contacted UPS because according to their tracking info they had delivered my package and left it on my porch. When I called to see what was up they admittedly said that they had the correct address in their database but that the delivery driver had dropped it off at the wrong address. In 3 conversations, every person that I spoke with reiterated that they had the right address but the package was delivered to the wrong house. They opened an "investigation" but said they would not keep me up to date about the progress of the investigation nor would the deal with me if the item was not able to be obtained. They said that they would only deal with the company who sent the item and escentually that they would do nothing dispite this being obiously and admittedly their mistake. There would be no apologies, no accountability, nothing! I will never use UPS personally and if this goes unresolved I will contact the local media and tell people how rude, unhelpful, and unaccountable they are. I know mistakes happen, but for them to be the cause and not do anything to make it right is incomprehensible!!

UPS is the WORST shipping company in the business. You pay for next day delivery, thats a joke with UPS. Its no wonder that FEDEX is kicking your ass. I ordered something from Amazon and paid for next day delivery. Needless to say I did not get it. I called amazon and asked them what happened. They had sent me an confirmation email saying that it had been shipped gave me the order number and when UPS picked it up. I ordered it in the morning of Dec.1 and by early afternoon I had the email that UPS had picked it up. I called UPS, spent almost two hours waiting on a supervisor but not before I had to make 5 calls, was cut off 5 times before I finally got a supervisor. This idiot told me that it would be Dec. 5 before it would be delivered. Gave me all kinds of bull shit about how amazon didnt get it to them.. when I had an email with the tracking number that UPS gave them when they picked it up. The people who work for UPS are indeed STUPID, its no wonder why they are always hiring people. They are all idiots!! As I can plainly see here I am not the only person that has had this kind of experience with UPS. Corporate fat cats would do well do get out of their cushy offices and get your ass down to these facilities and find out why your business is going down the drain with the rest of the shit. UPS is not a shipping business that I will be using ever again. I will also tell as many people, friends, family and anyone else that they need to use a different carrier.. UPS's brown box as their trucks are known for, are aptly described since they all are full o shit.

I hate UPS! I've never dealt with such incompetent ppl in my life. I can only 100% guarantee they a run by a bunch of morons. Not only did I not get my package, the driver stated that I was going to go out my way to pick up a package I paid shipping for. After speaking to moron after moron all day, and getting a shitload of excuses and lies, I find out my package never left and they couldn't figure out who lied over and over again. How professional! Obviously you don't need a brain to work for UPS. That was proven to me today.

UPS employes fraudsters. We have had packages that were never delivered to our long-term customers. UPS staff made a scan of a fake ID card, and the fake was so badly done, you could clearly see where it was doctored using Photoshop. This is an outrageous insult to customers to have your valuable goods taken by UPS then NOT delivered, and then for UPS employees to create fake delivery proofs. Legal action is underway against these fraudsters. UPS = Universal Pisspoor Service.

Anything that I purchase that requires shipping will ONLY be from outfits that use shipping methods OTHER than UPS! I would rather pay more for an item, and be assured that Fed Ex or the Post Office would be delivering as I would be able to depend on timely delivery of an undamaged product.
